NOTE

I just added a very small Bela POV in the first chapter - basically before MC even sees the pack. It's not the best placing for a POV, I know, but honestly it just came to me so... yeah.

I might change it a bit in the future and place it somewhere else in the chapter, but for now I'd like just to know if you like the idea! (I also added the small image in the character creator. And please tell me if there are mistakes, I don't have an editor😢)

Kinktober/Flufftober posts are coming in a few days. I've already got them queued up. Until then my posting won't be as frequent. Sadly it seems my dog won't be with us for much longer, it is to be expected he's quite old. I've done more coding on the demo, I don't think stats will be in it until chapter 1, we shall see.

Unfortunately, my goal to get part of the chapter out this month hit a snag when for half a month I had financial and family troubles.

I fell behind on my writing and so hopefully it'll just be an early April for that update.

new words! UPDATE 14/11

an update like this won't be regular, so don't get used to it. however after a huge writers block and after so much on my mind, i managed to continue writing on my IF and add new 2.6k words, which isn't a lot per se, but i am happy to have managed to write even anything :) i hope this will continue and i'll be able to write about that much every night i sit down and get to typing lol

i still have a bunch of notes in my memos about things i want to include, but damn- this will be a long demo

I just wanted to say that if things keep progressing the way they’re progressing, I’m going to possibly have Chapter Two of Absentia completed fully by June! It’s been a hectic chapter, mainly because I’ve had to add/delete multiple things and it’s caused an endless cycle, but I’m super excited for you all to see it!

On a angstier note, as I know some of my Angst Gremlins have been looking for something to gnaw on, when Absentia gets a bit further along I’m going to be adding some variables to choices, or adding new choices with said new variables, that may or may not cause some complications down the line with your chosen ROs (said consequences can be fixed depending on what they are, but it just adds a new layer to later interactions, I think). One scene in particular much later down the road, for quite a few of your favorite RO, has one that’s definitely going to hurt, but I’m excited to get to it and see how everything expands and/or shifts because of it.

Small update ♡

Hii guys, just came to tell y'all that I'm doing a bit better now(Things aren't 100% good and fully resolved yet, but I'm sure my situation will improve soon..). I regretted throwing my tarot cards away and after a few hours I went to get them again, my cards were very very wet and tearing, but now they are more drier. I had to tear up the deck box because I couldn't get the cards out of it..

Unfortunately I didn't k1ll myself, but I did cut myself a lot though, and I'm still doing it over and over when I get really stressed, it is a way for me to release anger and really calm myself down(Yes I know it's not a good thing to do but sometimes I can't help).

Please don't worry about my cards at all because I already energized them again, some of them are tearing up in the corners, but it's okay❤️

Also my phone screen is a little bit broken and cracked(It's triggering me a lot🥲) but at least my phone is still alive and working well(And so am I ig??¿)

Such a small thing made such a big impact..But I guess some things are meant to happen and I know I'll be fine after all❤️

Soo don't worry about me because I'll be fine and my situation will get better soon I hope🫶🏻

Small Update:

My son seems to be doing better today, as he was able to play outside most of the day and he has had no meltdowns, though I still intend to bring him to the pediatrician on Monday to make sure he’s not sick and just not showing symptoms (for those not in the know, my son is nonverbal and special needs so he’s not able to tell me).

I must admit that my mental health has been declining over the last few days, but I’m trying my best to rest, distract myself, and let this pass.

I know I disappeared for a bit, and I could list all the things that have made me disappear and how horrible this year has been-

Instead I'm going to say that I have not given up on In Time. I haven't written nearly as much as I wish I did, but I have written (and not just deleted everything I've written in writer's rage and agony). I also recently started putting it actually in Twine with coding. I'm going to try not to fall behind on that, so it's not overwhelming when a chapter or part is done.

There are a few amount of asks in my inbox and, y'all, the gratitude I felt in those being sent- for y'all to still have interest even as I just hermitted away to try and survive 2023, it meant the world. It's a part of why I've written even what I have. So thank you! I saw them, I want to answer them. I just didn't want to start answering those until I felt like at least poking my head back and being clear with this.

I'm writing and I'm trying. Thank you for those sticking around.
