im rereading the lightning thief and I forgot that the other campers were so freaked by Percy after he had been claimed + decimated those Ares kids that they wouldn't train with him anymore and he had to have solo sword lessons with Luke

this is far from being the point of the story but i find this exchange really funny when you think about how wataru is the "hard work betrays nothing" truther number 1, and how tori has gone thru his extensive hell training. she did all of that and decided no, not worth it

anyways it's canon that naoya loves to pick a fight with his daughter with regarding anything under the sun, and would crawl to your bosom dissolving in woeful tears every time she wins an argument, wondering aloud to you about where she gets that attitude from

i am so sick of some comments under most (the ones i've seen on twitter, it's always on twitter) of the oppenheimer posts. i don't know if they are just trolling or if they really believe that two good movies can't coexist. little newsflash, they can. also, quality isn't determined by how much money a movie makes. and another shocker, it all comes down to personal opinion and taste.
plus, barbie had the added benefit of being an hour+ movie, it's family friendly, it really drove the nostalgia effect aspect of our childhoods, and it probably doesn't require a lot of brain power to watch and understand. also it was easy to market. whereas oppenheimer is a biopic, it's a three hour R rated movie, it has heavy themes not suitable for young families, it wasn't an easy movie to market (there really wasn't much they could do besides interviews) and it requires more focus and brain power to understand the story.
so people writing "'flop" or saying "barbie outsold" is pointless and annoying. yeah, it's easier for barbie to make more money at the box office for literally all of the reasons mentioned. and also because cinemas have put barbie in a lot more session times than oppenheimer. there are more options to go see it throughout the day compared to oppenheimer. but that doesn't mean it's "better". for those who still don't understand (lack of thinking skills or because you just wanna be childish and an exhausting person who constantly trolls) two good movies can co-exist at the same time, and just because one earns more doesn't mean the other movie isn't good.

Would Muzan and AFO get along?
also who wins?
I’ve never watched KnY past its first episode, but based on Muzan’s appearance and a quick skim through his wiki entry… AfO would probably be deeply annoying to a 10,000 y/o demon king and lose, yet again, because he’s a wannabe demon lord who thinks he can oneshot all his problems.
