🌌Alternate Moominverse🌌
In which the Moomin characters are in fact tiny creatures living secretly in a normal human countryside, however the main characters (perhaps the main cast of Finn Family Moomintroll [Moomintroll, Snufkin, Sniff, Snorkmaiden, Snork, Mr. Hemulen, Moominpappa, Moominmamma, maybe throw in Little My if you so desire] give or take) get lost from their secret small creature society that resembles the regular canon and end up at the cottage of a normal human girl named Alicia who lives with her grandma Clarissa.
Alicia is a neglected young girl who finds these creatures and takes an adoration to them, making friends with and helping them in various ways and in return the small creatures help her aswell with things such as homework. Alicia is hesitant to reveal these creatures to her grandma for various possible reasons that could be unfounded. Later it's revealed that Alicia, her grandma and other humans in the settlement are in danger of being kicked out of their land because Corporations™.
The day is saved thanks to the small creatures sneakily scaring off the people running the corporation and there's a big celebration at the end.
Optional: All the while, there's been a search party for the Moomin family. Eventually they find them and perhaps help in the story's climax against the bad guys and after all is said and done they have to go home, there's an emotional goodbye between Alicia and the family and each go their separate ways, never forgetting the memories they've made.

1. The First Snow – Snufkin spends his first Winter in Moominvalley, having to face the bite of the cold harsher than he expected after getting snowed into Moominhouse (song – a cover of Late in November by Ritual. This is sung by Snufkin while he reminisces how much he misses Moomin and how stupid he was back during the month of November)
2. The Adventure – Moomintroll traverses the frozen waters back home after a long journey (there won’t be a song but occasionally Moomintroll will hum A Dangerous Journey by Ritual and a leitmotif of the song will occasionally play in the background) 3. The Groke Makes a Friend – After being attracted by someone’s fears, The Groke discovers the true light of friendship after becoming friends with Thingumy and Bob 4. An Icy Relationship – Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden don’t seem to get along like they used to. Maybe it’s time for a change, with some help from their new cold friend 5. The Pranksters – Thingumy and Bob decide to prank their friends with various Winter-themed jokes. Though a snowy situation leads them to treasure each other more (song – a cover of She by dodie. This song represents Thingumy and Bob’s longing for the other and how they fear they shall never obtain the other’s heart) 6. The Joxter Settles In – Snufkin discovers another mumrik while in the forest. They discover that they may not be strangers after all… (song - We’ve Grown)
7. The Witch - Snufkin, Moomin and Little My discover a mysterious girl and her creepy grandmother 8. Snufkin’s Curse - Snufkin develops a mysterious sickness that our heroes need to find a cure for (song – a cover of Home by Cavetown. This song is used to tell Snufkin’s story through a more musical approach than just spoken words, though at some points there will be speaking done by Mymble Jr)
9. The Exploits of Moominpappa - Joxter finds Moominpappa’s old memoirs and he reminisces the old days 10. Hibernation - Snufkin decides to hibernate with Moomintroll. To make a long story short, he has trouble sleeping 11. Snorkmaiden's Lost Memory - After an accident, Snorkmaiden loses her memory and thinks of herself as a princess 12. The Wings - The Snork creates a new set of wings, but already someone has set their eyes on them... 13. The Strange Letters - Mysterious letters addressing the sender’s feelings have been appearing in both Snufkin’s bag and Moomintroll’s letterbox. The thing is none of them admit to sending them (song – a cover of I’d Like to Walk Around in Your Mind by Vashti Bunyan. This song is used to convey Snufkin and Moomin’s constant struggles in being in love with each other. The poor boys just want to confess already but their fears and issues keep getting in the way. They wish they could just destroy those fears and issues and just be in love with no problem) 14. Moomin Luring 101 - Little My teaches Snufkin the ways of winning someone’s heart 15. Will You Be Mine? - Snufkin and Moomin finally come to terms with their new emotions (song – a cover of Strawberry Blond by Mitski. The song will be played on Snufkin’s harmonica at first, but the cover will play as Snufkin and Moomin confess their feelings and kiss)
as you’ve noticed most of these don’t have songs yet. The ones that don’t have songs yet I will write songs for The Joxter Settles In already has a song (which I’m writing) because it was an episode from what this series used to be (a fan season 3 of Moominvalley). The only episodes that remain from the previous version are The Joxter Settles In, The Witch, Snufkin’s Curse, The Exploits of Moominpappa, Hibernation, Snorkmaiden’s Lost Memory, The Wings and The Strange Letters. All other episodes have been replaced. I do hope this series gets the recognition it deserves! I have an animator who is interested in helping out and Little My already has a voice actor So far, the characters I am interested in including are (in order of appearance): Snufkin (the protagonist for a change) Mr Hemulin Toft Mrs Fillyjonk Mymble Jr Moomintroll Snorkmaiden The Groke Thingumy and Bob Little My The Joxter Alicia The Witch Too-Ticky Moominpappa Hodgkins Muddler The Snork Stinky I will post concept art on occasions

“He was rather handsome, was he not, jester?”
She doesn’t even know she’s Snorkmaiden but she does know that Moomin and Snufkin are gay... best ally.

So in an episode where Snorkmaiden hits her head so fucking hard she lost her memory, they decide to rub red soup with white and cream chunks all over her head. All over her head! It looks like blood and bits of skull what were they thinking?!?!

ok no one asked for this but here comes some moomin analysis!!
the last scene in Moominvalley episode 12 The Invisible Child with Too-Ticky and Moomin got me thinking about that ending song “Ready Now” and (of course not to distract from Ninny’s amazing story at all) but how the narrative seems to want us to ALSO consider this song in relation to Snufkin. keep reading for a rambly analysis of why I think so LOL. its long read at ur own discretion lol
(moominvalley spoilers if you’re not caught up!)
Alright alright alright so first off. When Too-Ticky tells Moomin to watch out for other lost souls, at first I thought it was going to be a touching but generalized message to the viewers to look for invisible children in their own life (very good) but THEN-- after Moomin thinks for a sec he seems to realize something, and then as the music starts the camera pans over to where Snufkin is walking away.
Tumblr media
stuff like that in animation is rarely coincidence and usually super planned out, so it’s not a far leap to think the song also relates to Moomin and Snufkin!!!
Before I get into lyrics I wanna point out a few things about Moomin. Bless that guy. So I’m obviously not 100% on what Moominvalley canon is as far as how long he and Snufkin have known each other & what adventures they’ve already gone on before the first ep, but it’s clear that they’re already good enough friends that Moomin knows how to respect his space, even in Snufkin’s mind/memory.
Tumblr media
And he is able to guide others in doing the same (like when he stops Sniff from continuing to bug Snufkin after Snufkin has reached his limit)
Tumblr media
I think this experience helped him tremendously when it came to Ninny! Out of everyone there (besides Moominmama, where he must have learned his patience from) he is able to intuit her needs the best of everyone and is most effective in making her feel welcome! (probably from having dealt with Snufkin so much, or maybe its just in his nature) It works well until he gets ahead of himself and starts talking over her/thinks he knows what she needs without listening to her. This fails, and he quickly realizes what he did wrong and makes amends and is the first to realize how important it is to LISTEN! and then he explains that to the others.
Tumblr media
Moomin’s ability to understand and be friends with uhhhh basically everyone he meets is nothing to sneeze at AND is pretty unique to his character when you think about it. More than anyone else (excluding Moominmama cuz she’s God Tier) he shows again and again --even when it may take some time-- that he has the patience to get to know someone and find value in them, no matter how different they are from him or how annoying they are to other characters. We see this in Sniff, the ghost, the ancestor, Little My, Ninny, (a hint of it with the groke), Snorkmaiden, Moominpapa, Too-Ticky, etc. etc. (and way more in the books but I’m just talking about Moominvalley for now) and of course our dear Nuuskamuikkunen.
Basically Moomin is really good at at least giving empathy a shot, something not every character can do (moominpappa, little my, and sniff can be kinda bad at it). That kind of caring can be life changing to someone who hasn’t really had much understanding before!
Which brings us back to Snufkin, who’s privacy/introversion isn’t often respected/understood.
Tumblr media
To the point where (even though he DOES like people!!!) he often gets overwhelmed and can’t see any way out besides to just- leave. Like he left Moomin at the party, like he left moomin & sniff at his own campfire with an abrupt “sleep well”, & how he leaves every winter.
Tumblr media
And why does Snufkin act like that? I really hope Moominvalley dives into it!! *rubs hands together* Besides it just being his Nature or whatever, in the books it says that he was found abandoned in a box (if memory serves) and basically grew up totally on his own as a wanderer and never had a home of his own and DEFINITELY never had anyone he could rely on besides himself. When you grow up that unstable, its no wonder you might want to take the stability into your own hands anyway you can. Why form strong attachments if they’re not going to last, or if it means you have to give up an integral part of yourself/your freedom/the only thing you’ve been able to control? This is just speculation though (I’m still reading the books too and I’m curious if the show will even address his past much at all!)
Anyway, considering how often he’s misunderstood even in super friendly Moominvalley who knows what he experienced elsewhere. It’s easier to retreat inward and fall back on to relying on yourself and no one else. The fact he views strong connections to people as something that can cage you/prevent you from being free, reveals a lot about the relationships/lack of relationships he’s probably known. however. we keep seeing hints that Snufkin isn’t always.. totally okay with this. we see that sometimes Snufkin needs company too.
Tumblr media
(It’s also worth noting that when Snufkin realizes he feels lonely he assumes he must be sick or something because it feels so at odds with his identity. THE BABY DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO DEAL.)
He really has no idea how to grapple with the concept of Sometimes Needing People. He doesn’t know how to admit it to himself let alone others. In general despite spouting a lot of generic wise hot-topic-like phrases of advice (hehe i love them), when it comes to explaining himself to others (ESPECIALLY MOOMIN) he has NO idea what to do. which is seen in him stuttering and being evasive and hurrying away whenever questioned LOL.
Tumblr media
Even when he does think he understands himself and is happy with his own solitude, he gets kinda knocked down a peg with both Titi-uu and Little My/the woodies. Both instances leave him realizing that, while being alone is great, company can also have some benefits!
Okay now we’re ready for the song “Ready Now” (hehe) and Moomin & Snufkin’s relationship. To Snufkin, someone as considerate and unendingly patient and loving as Moomintroll is probably still new, foreign, and full of constant surprises! (he was so shocked when Moomin wasn’t mad about the party thing...)
“You saw through me all this time I'd forgotten people are kind”
Even though Snufkin cares deeply for Moomintroll & does NOT hesitate to help him in a pinch and often goes against his solitude nature in order to comfort him (letting moomin&sniff eat by his fire, letting the dragon go), when it comes to verbalizing his OWN needs he struggles. And yet, Moomin somehow still seems to understand him and is gentle and forgiving (again with the hemulen’s jail, he never demanded an explanation or even an apology, he just wanted to help his best friend despite being stood up haha).
Tumblr media
Point is Moomin seems to be able to understand how to connect with Snufkin in an effective way.
“I was hurting and you knew So you showed me what to do You said "I will listen, tell it all When you're finished we'll talk more" But I didn't know how so we took it in turns To my surprise we found my words”
If Snufkin will open up to anybody it’s Moomin. And we’re talking year after year slow burn.... You can even tell that Snufkin wants to open up as seen in his imaginary conversation with Snow-Moomin. That’s the best back and forth convo they had specifically about Snufkin’s needs and it was in his head.... orz... (just talk to him you KNOW he’d understand...)
Tumblr media
But, as revealed in this conversation, a big thing he talked about was not being ready (specifically to come back to Moominvalley, but the way it’s framed hints it’s also about other things as well) and now these lyrics....
“Feet firm on the ground, We stood hand in hand The world seemed to tell me That I have a plan Together we sang
I'm ready now.”
Obviously a big part of Snufkin’s character is that he doesn’t do things the conventional/common way at all. He very much does his own thing and won’t let anyone else threaten that. But the thing about Moomin is that understands/tries to! Moom doesn’t want to force him into a lifestyle or role that Snuf doesn’t want to fulfill, he just wants to be with Snufkin in whatever way works, even if its unconventional.
Tumblr media
“You said "I will listen, tell me it all You don't like the ending? Then we'll find one that's yours."
To have someone who’s willing to work with him like this, big or small-- This is probably new to Snufkin!!! Or at least, maybe Moomin has always tried to put that out there, but it’s taken a while for Snufkin to finally start to believe/understand/trust that? He used to think building a strong relationship would mean sacrificing a part of himself, but maybe learn to see that he wouldn’t have to? He’s growing! and its a good grow!
“Something new, something strange Ten feet taller, I had changed I believe you, I'm not wrong Oh, it suits me to feel strong“
Tumblr media
There’s that little bit of euphoria where he realizes.. caring about someone deeply can be a really good and positive thing.
And finally... remember how all of Snufkin’s life and identity revolves around wanting to be free? And how at first he thought being free meant to have no strong attachments? But maybe... just maybe... after working in loving tandem with Moomin....
“Oh, how did you know? That's all we need? A promise of hope Is enough to feel free.”
:’) the end
the potential is all carefully set up and there, I’m so excited to see what Moominvalley does with it! Especially since Moomin’s storyline seems to be revolving around him becoming more independent and finding his own, while Snufkin’s is about learning it’s okay to need others. They meet in the middle.
Tumblr media
But things are never quite that easy in Moominvalley, so who knows how lost we’ll see snufkin before he gets “found”...? or vise versa. I can’t wait to find out!!!!

13. Window
Snorkmaiden sighed and stared dreamily out of her window, imagining she was a princess waiting for a brave knight to rescue her from a dragon-guarded tower. She hugged her book of fairytales close to her chest fondly. She wondered if Moomin would want to play princes and princesses with her again, then blushed at the memory of what happened last time. She had lost her memory and assumed he was a jester! Her darling Moomintroll! Afterwards she had felt quite terrible about it and so horribly embarrassed that she pretended she couldn't remember a thing. Even worse, her memory-stricken self had been quite obvious about her little crush on Snufkin. It was lucky both Moomin and Snufkin were too oblivious to notice.
A small thump at the window made Snorkmaiden jump as she was broken from her thoughts. She watched the window nervously until a small rock plinked against the glass. Oh! Her Moomintroll was throwing pebbles up to her window to awake her! How romantic! Snorkmaiden hurried to open the window and looked out to find Moomin there, as expected, standing next to Snufkin, who was slightly less expected. Only slightly, as Moomin tended to bring Snufkin along for dates and romantic gestures. Honestly he was lucky he was dating her and not some other girl who would be far less understanding. Snufkin wasn't much better, completely unaware that most people didn't bring their best friend on dates.
The two boys waved up at her and she waved back. "Wait there, you two! I'll come down to you!" "That's not how the story goes, Princess!" Snufkin shouted back. "We're supposed to come up and rescue you!" Moomin agreed loudly. "Alright but I shan't be making it easy for you!" Snorkmaiden snapped the window closed then moved out of sight and banged her head on the wall. Of course they weren't going to let this go. She should have known.
Perhaps they weren't so oblivious, after all.

Find Me In The Spring
Snufkin had been told again and again that he'd been abandoned - but they'd lied about everything else, so why not that?
It was a question he thought he'd never have an answer to, and he didn't want to admit how much it affected him.
The only one who knows what really happened is the Joxter, and no one knows what's happened to him, either.
Until the winter Joxter stumbles upon Moomin Valley.
Whumptober Day 26: Abandoned
Snufkin had been abandoned.
That's what the people at the orphanage told him until he ran away (so, they told him so for roughly a week). What he'd been told over and over again, by people who claimed they knew what was best for him.
It was the sort of thing that stuck, that made him question a lot of things, deep down inside, as he wandered about.
But after a few years, once he had the whole 'vagabond' thing down, once it was clear that they'd been wrong about so much else...a little voice started to question it.
If they were wrong about so many other things...why should they be right about that?
The big problem was that there was no one to ask. No one who would know.
Most of the things they'd told him, Snufkin had been able to prove wrong once he was out on his own. But that...well.
The only thing he had to prove that wrong was how wrong they'd been about everything else.
It stuck in the corners of his heart, a wound that couldn't heal even if he tried to ignore it, and it affected everything. Made him question why people wanted him around, made him seek out even more solitude than what he wanted (and he did want solitude, it was just...he kept to it even at times when he wanted company). At least...until things changed.
They'd all said he'd been abandoned because mumriks were incapable of loving and being loved.
Except...he was lovable, that was proven. Moomin and Snorkmaiden, Little My and Mymble, Moominmamma and Moominpappa, they all loved him in their own ways.
It had taken awhile for Snufkin to accept it, but he had. And it took time to admit it, but he loved them back, so fiercely it almost hurt.
And he accepted it just in time to meet his birth mother.
She apologized more than once for never knowing where he was, and said he was lost while on a trip with his father. Neither of them had returned from that trip, and no one knew what had happened.
The fears of being abandoned reared up again at that, because Snufkin had certainly not spent the years between with his father.
Seeing all her children, Snufkin wasn't sure anymore if being on his own had been a totally bad thing. He might have isolated himself more than he should have sometimes, and he knew it, but that many people in that small of a space...he would have left sooner or later anyway.
None of them could figure out why Joxter hadn't been with Snufkin when he'd been found. Moominpappa wasn't sure he'd been ready to be a father, but even with those doubts he couldn't believe Joxter would just leave Snufkin somewhere.
But one thing Mymblemamma insisted upon, despite her notoriously bad memory: “He wanted you. He loved you. He loved all of my children, not like any other lover I've had. Most of them either ignore the children entirely or try too hard to gain their approval so I'll look favorably on them. Joxter did care, enough that I can't think he left us without so much as a goodbye. And I know, I know what my memory's like. But I still remember how he looked at you. He never would have abandoned you, no matter what people say about him. He loved all of us so fiercely, he wouldn't have just left without some kind of reason.”
None of them knew where Joxter was or what had happened, but just hearing them all be so baffled, so sure that he wouldn't have abandoned Snufkin was a balm to a wound that had hurt for so long he hadn't even realized how much it still hurt.

If they’re gonna be going with Moomintroll x Snorkmaiden rather than Moomintroll x Snufkin in Moominvalley then I sincerely hope her personality & relationship with Moomintroll is improved in the second season, because I ain’t buying it so far.
Take the episode The Secret of the Hattifatteners, for example. Admittedly, the two do have some cute natural moments, like cuddling together when listening to Moominpappa and some other small moments throughout the episode.
Even their make-believe pirates game is quite cute, although Moomintroll suggests that maybe they’re a little too old for playacting anymore, and he’s right; their relationship needs to have a serious, mature side to it now that they’re growing up.
Also, he’s always complimenting her appearance, but never (or at least hardly ever) her intelligence or bravery. I absolutely LOVE book Snorkmaiden because she’s so clever, and Moomintroll admires that about her so much!! But in Moominvalley he just calls her “beautiful” etc. and a lot of the time he’s saying it bc he knows it’s what she wants to hear (in The Spring Tune she even prompts him to compliment her, asking if her beauty sleep worked).
This also seems to be the reason why he’s always trying to act brave around her & protect her; he believes it’s what’s expected of him as a Knight in Shining Armour to her Damsel in Distress (though we all know she can usually handle herself well & even in the Ghost Story episode he says she likes a fellow who’s in touch with his feelings, yet he still tries to be all “manly” around her). For their relationship to work, they need to stop worrying about living up to fantasy gender roles and stereotypes.
Back to the Hattifatteners episode: Snorkmaiden brings up their future children. This immediately makes Moomintroll freak out & uncomfortable as he stammers & goes back on his initial idea of going on a real adventure; he just wanted to have an exciting experience with a friend, not have a story with a fiancé that he can tell their future children (Steve Box said he’s supposed to be around 15/16 in this series)
On the island, Snorkmaiden is picking flowers to decorate her hair & Moomintroll voices his concerns about this action, saying they’re probably rare. She replies that they’re no use to anyone just sitting in the ground and he says they seemed to be growing there quite happily before they came. This is an example of their clashing opinions on nature; Moomintroll seems to appreciate & enjoy nature more than a snorkmaiden does, much like Snufkin. Snorkmaiden taking the flowers is almost the opposite of Snufkin’s philosophy of not needing material things & believing that everything beautiful he looks at belongs to him since he has its memory in his mind. It is clear Moomintroll’s values line up more with Snufkin’s than with Snorkmaiden’s.
A little later, Moomintroll speedily sets up camp inside a cave and after it’s done Snorkmaiden asks if she can help, to which a slightly peeved Moomintroll replies “not so much now I’ve finished.” Snorkmaiden laughs this off and says “oh, my funny Moomintroll.” holding his arm, yet the tone of his response is very clearly unamused: “yes, well... come on.” He does brighten up and make a joke about the thunder being her belly rumbling (another actually sweet moment between the two), yet it is clear the two can get on each other’s nerves from time to time.
Like when he returns to the cave after searching for the lost Snorkmaiden, only to find that she has been there decorating the entire time. He doesn’t give his opinion on the decor and instead expresses how “unbelievable” he finds it that she has been here safe and sound the entire time he’s been worried about her. She then tells him he’ll have to go out alone in the dark storm to rescue Little My (why can’t she go too???) and she gets annoyed at him for packing so many things (definitely something he’s picked up from his mother) & stalling by reading a poem to her. Again, another instance of one being annoyed at the other.
Later, Moomintroll watches the mysterious & enchanting Hattifatteners’ gathering with Little My. He even puts his arm around her as the lightning strikes, and it’s a very sweet brother-sister moment for the two. This happens whilst Snorkmaiden is crying in the cave; she has missed out on having what could have been a beautiful moment with “her love”.
And on the note of not appreciating nature, as they sail back home, Moomintroll remarks on how wonderful the experience was yet Snorkmaiden disagrees with him, saying she wishes “we’d never gone to that silly island.” I understand that her hair is very precious to her, however couldn’t she mourn for her loss whilst still noting that at least the experience was magical & special? This lack of enjoyment at the wonders of nature & adventure is a trait I don’t believe is compatible with Moomintroll (yes she does enjoy their other adventures but sometimes she ends up caring more about her looks & personal possessions, and I think Moomintroll would prefer to bring Snufkin along on a lot of adventures instead).
Idk maybe I’m being too harsh on her but I’m not the biggest fan of this series’ portrayal of Snorkmaiden. I guess we’ll see what happens in season 2.
Addition: ok I wrote all of that a few days ago, and I’m coming back now after having read more of the comics and tbh them two getting annoyed at each other a lot must have been taken from the comics (which makes a lot of sense since Box has talked about how the series is the most faithful adaptation of the books and comics which i honestly think is not true at all but the point is that they wanted the series to be very close to the original moomins media), where they’re constantly getting in tiffs with each other, usually separating, then eventually finding their way back to one another & reconciling.
This is done humorously in the comedic style of the comics, in a very stereotypical “this is what all couples are like” kinda way, almost in a “look how alike they are to a married couple, but they’re just kids!” kinda way.
This works in the comics, but Moominvalley is going for a more dramatic approach; in interviews the directors call it “cinematic” a lot. So, for me, there is hope in the way they’re presenting Moomintroll & Snufkin’s relationship as a serious important part of the story to focus on whilst presenting Moomintroll & Snorkmaiden’s in a more childish and arguably less important way - the only question is, will they grow out of it and find they can’t be together? Would Moomintroll and Snufkin be able to maintain a long-term relationship with differing needs? Guess we’ll found out next year.

Fandom ask: moomin?
Gladly!!
Favorite Male Character: I know I’m basic for saying this but it’s 100% Snufkin
Tumblr media
Favorite Female Character: Oh man!! This is really hard, I love Snorkmaiden a LOT but I’m going to have to say Little My for this one
Tumblr media
Least Favorite Character: This one is easy!! Stinky is really horrible
Tumblr media
Favorite Ship: Snufkin/Moomin/Snorkmaiden!! The golden trio!!! All of them have such great dynamics.
Moomin and Snorkmaiden are obviously childhood sweethearts, pure and good
Tumblr media
But Moomin and Snufkin’s relationship is filled with so much tension and pining!! I love it
Tumblr media
And then Snufkin and Snorkmaiden are good friends with mutual attraction to each other. My fav part in the 90’s anime was when Snorkmaiden lost her memory and was convinced she was a princess, and so Snufkin acted all princely to her~
Tumblr media
Favorite Friendship: Snufkin and Little My are petty crime siblings and I am here for it
Tumblr media
Favorite Quote: “Everyone has a right to at least one secret” or something to that affect
Worst Character Death (if any): no deaths thankfully!!
This made me so happy you have no idea Moment: Literally every second of the 90’s anime is pure free organic serotonin fuel (except for the first episode which was nightmare fuel somehow)
Saddest Moment: When Stinky bullied Ninny =(
Favorite Location: The Moomin’s front porch seems like the ideal place to be! I’d love to sip tea out there and enjoy the soft breeze in my hair

LOOKING FOR SONG WRITERS/COMPOSERS
hi! So about Exploits of Moominvalley, I am currently searching for song writers and music composers to help me with the soundtrack to the series! I have about 8 episodes that still need songs and 1 episode that has a song but just needs music. Any musicians comment or PM me! the episodes that need songs are: The Groke Makes a Friend An Icy Relationship The Witch The Exploits of Moominpappa Hibernation Snorkmaiden’s Lost Memory The Wings Moomin Luring 101 the episode that has a song but needs music is The Joxter Settles In. If anyone is willing to write a backing track for it I can send you the tune of the lyrics. I see this song having more of an acoustic vibe to it. Songs like Start Again by BOBBi and A Place To Call Home by jens are examples of the feel anyone willing to write a song I can send you the basic episode premises and you can chose which one will best suit your style. Remember, express yourself and be yourself, I will only place the restriction of a maximum of 4 minutes. Anything below that time is completely fine too, just be yourself to your best ability and I guarantee you that I will love what you come up with!
