how much he likes to share fun facts and talk abt stuff he knows abt and is interested in (wild magic, titan's veins/eclipse lake, mindscapes...)? and how he sometimes stops himself mid-sentence before he says too much? that could definitely be interpreted as info-dumping and special interests
how much he loves research in general? i just KNOW he loves knowing stuff and reading up on stuff and memorizing cool fun facts (him immediately reading all the grimwalker books he could find after finding out that's what he is- like obviously he did that, obviously he wanted to know what he is. but also just..... it's so, so very huntercore)

and MORE, like there are also many many moments that can be interpreted as other autistic traits or behaviours, just. ALL OF IT.
the crew did say that they've written neurodivergence into the show and into who these characters are intentionally, even if they might not be aware of some terms or labels at times, so like... i’m 100% certain hunter’s purposely written to be neurodivergent. and i’m gonna be very surprised if not specifically autistic (+ ptsd ofc)
he just... is.

I'm a little more familiar with Cellbit's character than Bagi's, so probably have more headcanons about him. I am actively trying to get more unhinged about Bagi because she is so cool and everyone should tell me their Bagi headcanons
Bagi headcanons/opinions:
She should be transfem. as a treat. her being transfem lets me make the twins identical, and anything that makes it more obvious how related they are makes them funnier
Her being transfem also adds fun layers to her relationship with Tina, as Tina is a demon pretending to be human. All I'm saying is you could do some fun parallels and contrasts about presentation and the self
Also if you make her and Jaiden and Baghera all transfem, you get the fun fed-sisters-plus transfem solidarity that exists only in my head
She can only barely cook. She never learned as a kid and then got fucking frozen, and she's tried to learn as an adult but it's not going well
When she thinks about raising Empanada, she gets kinda caught between wanting to pass on the pacifist, live-and-let-live mentality that she pretends to have and the more defensive/aggressive ideas she actually has. She does like the idea of pacifism and doesn't want Empanada to grow up bitter, but... peace isn't what's kept her safe and alive
Empanada's first death resolved a lot of those conflicts. A kinder world isn't coming, so she has to raise a fighter
Her "pretending to be an ethical vegetarian" thing is hilarious to me. girl you aren't pretending to be a vegetarian you just are one. you can lie about your reasons but girl. you don't eat meat
Cellbit headcanons/opinions:
He can't cook even a little bit. Federation pet -> child soldier -> jail-> struggling adult? yeah he never fucking learned to cook
Relatedly I think he's a picky eater but has weird tastes. Like i think he eats instant microwave/just add water foods raw and likes it because he learned to eat it like that at some point, but can't stand a lot of "real food" because he just never got used to it (this is partly based on me lsjkhd)
He owns a butterfly knife and he's good with it. He picked it up as a hobby after Fuga when he was in therapy because he needed something to fill his time and it was a socially acceptable way to carry a knife. He can do all kinds of tricks now
Just pre-purgatory (and probably still now tbh) sometimes the butterfly knife suddenly reminds him too much of a real knife or triggers some kind of intrusive thought that scares him. His reaction to this is to just let go of the knife midair. He's very lucky no one's gotten hurt yet
He 100% remembers more of his childhood with Bagi than he admits. He pretends he doesn't because even acknowledging that he was a child once undermines his image of himself as a monster (upsetting, unhealthy self-image, sure, but one that's kept him safe. monsters aren't afraid of anything. monsters can't be hurt. children, though?)
As much as I understand and will read about autistic!Cellbit headcanons, I don't agree (i am autistic, for the record). He's actually really good with social cues, like scary good, and obviously has really strong theory of mind. Like I get where people are coming from but we need to defend an allistic guy's right to just be a fucking freak (/lh /nm)
I want to call Cellbit and Baghera "hunters" instead of "chainsaw killers." again I get where people are coming from. it's funny and I'll use it. however hunters would go so hard. same genre as codebreakers and bloodhounds. do you see my vision

so first things first anon, i have wonderful news! all of my alec's are autistic because i headcanon him as autistic and thats the only way i write him really <3
i'm autistic and thats just how I ended up writing him and i have for years, but i stopped tagging it because i got tired of dealing with people (this is not directed at you btw, i was so excited to see this prompt and that you liked them and felt seen by it!!! because thats what i originally wanted) who didn't feel i made alec 'autistic enough' which just annoyed and triggered me so i stopped tagging it. also some gross stereotypes and at one point someone told me to 'prove i was autistic'... but that was several years ago.
now i live with my bf who is more than happy to deal with ignorant people for me, so i'm happy to start tagging it again if it makes people feel seen? since that's the most important part. so this is autistic alec but it's more domestic than focusing on autistic? since like i mentioned, all my alecs are?
so i hope you enjoy that knowledge and this fic.
also, in pretty much all of my fics Magnus is Alec's main Special Interest. it's why he kind of just is happy doing things Magnus likes, because that's who he likes enjoying himself and that makes his day. Especially when he contributes to it in some way or just gets to bask in it.

Alec stares at the group of ichor-dripping shadowhunters in front of him and looks blankly at the sheepish faces of his hunters and the unrepentant, mulish expressions of Jace and Clary.
Already he knows exactly how this is about to go and he wants no part of it. In fact, he is activating his newest protocol.
“Mirai!” He yells out and in a flash of runic speed, his second is there and staring at the group with her own scowl. “These two teams seem to think that whatever mess they got into, that it required the Head of the Institute, do you agree?”
Mirai scoffs and gives the group a dark look, “Commander, the only thing they need is to be tossed into decontamination and put on ichor duty for a few shifts. Especially since one of them left a body shaped dent in an alley wall and mundane chatter picked it up.”
Jace winces suspiciously and Alec sends him a scolding look, because he really should know better.
“You didn’t punch the wall or something after? Make it less suspicious?” Alec asks, because they have protocols, and nothing tonight should have required such sloppy work.
“Clary saw something and—” Jace trails off and shrugs, as if realizing he’s only about to get himself and his little menace in more trouble.
“I’m leaving.” Alec finally says and he turns, walking out of the Institute itself instead of just going to his office.

“What’s wrong?” Magnus asks and Alexander melts into him, ignoring Magnus’ book and his cup and his greedy boy practically shoves them out of the way so he can collapse onto Magnus’ lap.
“People are wrong.” Alexander tells him and he makes a grumble against Magnus’ belly, “no more talking now.” Alexander tells him, which means that his boy is very close to overstimulation or is already there.
“Alright darling, I have you.” Magnus promises and the lights dim, and he hesitates before he touches Alexander, relieved when Alexander nuzzles into the touch.
Alexander mumbles an agreement but doesn’t say anything else and Magnus lets time pass as he gently plays with Alexander’s hair until his boy finally, slowly takes a deep breath and sits up. He’s avoiding Magnus’ gaze but in a relaxed way, so Magnus waits patiently. There are lips pressed to his cheek and Alexander leans against him, snuggling into his side and claiming Magnus’ hand to wrap around himself so he can kiss the knuckles.
“Shall I portal us away?” Magnus offers, because sometimes the rare occasion of being taken somewhere safe and protected by Magnus’ magic is appealing. Other times, like now, Alexander just shakes his head with a sigh and leans more firmly into him.
“No, I need to stay here and be on standby. Mirai is going to cover for me while I take a break though. It wouldn’t have been such a big deal, if they hadn’t brought in enough ichor to give every shadowhunter a headache. Sensory overload when I wasn’t expecting it and I was already pretty raw from my meeting with the clave.”
“You can relax here.” Magnus promises him, reminding Alexander that the loft is safe and will always be safe for him.
Anywhere Magnus is will always be a space that is safe for his boy.

What was Caleb like?
I'm thinking of him as well-intentioned and kind, but at times careless and/or not thinking things through.
While he grew up believing Puritan ideals, and he participated in witch hunts, his confidence in it wasn't completely firm, in large part due to the execution of his and Philip's parents - he struggled to believe they were witches. The possibility of a false accusation was always in the back of his mind.
One thought he had was - if the people (mainly women) the hunters were killing were really witches, why weren't they using magic to fight back or try to escape? Shouldn't they be more powerful?
His doubts were only made stronger when he met Daphne - a real witch. When he saw her, he initially got a bit intimidated, but seeing how she seemed friendly, he decided to approach her and talk to her. Just that one interaction made him question witch hunting further, since he found out more about real witches.
He was 19 and Daphne was 18 at the time, while Philip was 15. Caleb continued to see Daphne every once in a while, developing a friendship with her, which went on for a couple years.
But one day, she got captured by the witch hunters. Caleb rescued her, and the two were faced with a problem: she wouldn't risk coming to the Human Realm anymore - the witch hunters would recognize her, and traveling between the realms wasn't easy - but she and Caleb didn't want to end their friendship.
The portal was beginning to close, and the witch hunters were also approaching. Daphne's time to go home and Caleb's time to leave to escape being found out as a traitor was running out. So, he decided to go to the Demon Realm with her. Despite his love for his brother, he didn't consider how this would impact him.
Philip was with the witch hunters, though he ran ahead of them - because he suspected it was Caleb who freed the witch, and wanted to give him a chance/vouch for him, and came across Caleb and Daphne at the end of their conversation. Terrified he might never see his brother again, as they were leaving, he tried to stop Caleb, but instead got pulled in with him.
The other witch hunters showed up right as the portal closed, just in time to see the brothers being taken away by Daphne.
Caleb got used to the Demon Realm, embraced the freedom it gave him, and accepted it as his home faster than Philip. He also started to realize he was queer sooner, as he began to feel attraction towards men and probably some enbies as well - he's bisexual and not aspec, so he could feel attracted to people at first sight. I'm also thinking of him as neurodivergent (either autistic, ADHD, or both)
He lived longer than his canon counterpart, and I'm thinking he and Daphne already had a little kid by the time he died, so that kid got to know him. Their kid was a daughter, by the way.

I watched Metal Lords a while ago, and I have to say, I think Hunter is autistic. (From an autistic perspective)
The boy himself ⬆️
Obviously, his special interest is metal music. It encompasses his entire life and the way he masks is by putting on the persona of a metal musician.
He doesn’t understand a lot of social things, and instead filters everything through the idea of “how would a metalhead react?” It’s shown especially when he and his best friend (that I can’t for the life of me remember the name of, I watched this movie in like April, but Jaeden Martel’s character) get at odds and when he provokes the bully kids. Also, his interactions with his dad. He reacts impulsively/without fear and he attempts to process the world through his special interest.
What this movie got wrong: (I’m not really good at putting thoughts into order so sorry if I repeat myself a lot, I definitely didn’t get out all I wanted to say but whatever)
My dad and I just stuck this movie on after being thoroughly disappointed by Ghostbusters: Afterlife (I was so sad since I’ve been waiting for that movie since before quarantine) and it was a pretty decent experience. Not the best thing I’ve ever watched but up until a bit of rockiness at the end, it was enjoyable in a chill way. It was honestly very wholesome and it shows that there’s so many over the top things now that stuff can just get away with the bare minimum. Also, it’s funny seeing Jaeden Martell as anything other than Bill Denbrough.
But a bunch of things stuck out to me about Hunter’s character, and I came to the conclusion almost immediately that this kid’s autistic and nobody recognizes it. He basically spends the movie being ridiculed and a literal doctor even says there’s NOTHING wrong with him when he clearly is struggling. He’d benefit from accommodations, like, c’mon. Yes he made some poor decisions but a lot of that was fueled by the people in his life not understanding that he isn’t having outbursts on purpose just for the hell of it. Something about that just resonated deeply with me.
It’s like a Data from Star Trek level conundrum where the writers clearly don’t understand the character they’ve put on screen. I’m literally so confused how they brought Hunter to a mental hospital and the doctor, after like less than a week, came to the conclusion that there was NO problem? He was clearly having outbursts. You’re a doctor! The guy was like “well it’s not drugs, you’re just like this” and Hunter left the hospital with no more explanation than when he came in, he just got to get out and play in the concert and get a broken leg and some good friends.
Okay, that’s all well and good but are we just going to leave off saying that he’s doing this on purpose? It was clear to me that he was not. Yes, it can be argued that he’s spoiled, I will not deny that, but is there not a deeper layer here? when people chalk up any meltdown to “the kid’s a spoiled brat” I get kind of pissed. This movie just doesn’t know what it put down. The dad also feels ableist to me and I don’t like that we’re kind of made to sympathize more with him dealing with this crazy kid than we are made to sympathize with Hunter. He’s literally just played off as crazy. Clearly it’s just that the writers did not understand what they were working with and while I’ll forgive them for that, I would like to do better.
(Hunter also looks scarily exactly like this girl I knew in freshman year of high school named Erin. I don’t know why, he just does and it freaks me out)

Any little snippets/details/insights for Days of You and Me? I know you're turning it into a physical book (and I can't wait!)
What about Finds A Way? I know it's one of your older works but I think about it a lot.
THIS IS A NO PRESSURE POST!
Oh man. Nothing really new to share about Days since getting it into the next phase is really just... combing through and taking stuff out. My plans for it though are that, obviously, it's going to be in ~modern times~ (you know what I mean) and in this economy, no single parent is owning their house. So Hunter lives with his brother Connor in a house they rent with Hunter's daughter Haley. Which allows for Connor to be more ~in the picture~ if that makes sense. The setting is also moving to Nashville, Tennessee, and the coffee that Hunter brings Alison will be from a local Nashville chain called Bongo Java. I really want to bring up more of Alison's therapy sessions but we'll get to the additions once we finish the culling and the changes.
Alison will also be struggling heavily with burn out and that will be a large focus of it. Like she pauses because she actually really likes Hunter and he's not pressuring her to feel that, he's letting her take her time and make that decision for herself and, in doing so, she's actively making time FOR him instead of trying to get away from him because she doesn't feel cornered like a wild animal, she doesn't feel pressured by him. So then her days aren't filled with non stop go go go go go for work, this is a perfect who likes to be near her and doesn't make fun of her or make her feel bad and who encourages her to rest and the last ten or twelve years of her life since she moved to Tennessee hits her like a truck and she's like, 'OH... I cannot do this.' Like she's a lot more explicitly autistic. Haley is also autistic and it's kind of through meeting and growing a relationship with this man and his child that she starts to understand that, like... oh, she's got some things going on, too. (That's also why she hates talk therapy and thinks it's bullshit because autistics do not react well to CBT since we've already pathologized ourselves to fucking hell and back).
I'm also changing their ages. So Hunter is 31 and Haley is 11 going on 12 or 12 going on 13... I haven't decided. But Alison is 29 going on 30. So they are the same age but there wouldn't have really been chances for them to meet because Hunter didn't go out, he had a baby and he wasn't going to school either.
I actually just unpublished Finds A Way from Amazon Vella and had an idea about it last night actually. There are many scribblings happening in a notebook right now but Sam and her story are not done yet, I just unfortunately got sick and could not give her the attention she deserved.

here’s a bizarre neurodivergent lifehack:
in situations when I would normally inform others of my disability by saying “I have adhd/autism”, I instead say “I have a neurodevelopmental disorder” and man, does that make a difference.
instead of rolling eyes or “but you don’t look autistic”, I receive looks of compassion and understanding. it’s kinda wild. and although I really wish I didn’t have to reword it, it does make a difference, in my experience.

Oh wow.
I wrote this in like two days for no reason, I guess I needed this off my chest? Idk, definitely my most action-packed work so far.
Trigger/Content warnings: Violence, Reader committing that violence, use of a gun and knife as basically torture, by Reader, use of the r-slur, if there any I’m missing please let me know immediately.
Yandere Phantom Troupe with an Autistic Reader who saves them from a Nen user

“How fitting!” The man cackled, “The Spider taken out by some webbing!”
Everything happened so fast.
One minute an intruder was discovered, and the next everyone was trapped.
His ability was some kind of manipulator or specialist, using his opponents Nen against them, the minute they tried to use it to attack him it came out in strands of light that wrapped around their bodies and held them tight like a cocoon. The more they struggled, the thicker and stronger the silk seemed to become.
Most of the Troupe could still see, but they had been gagged and completely restrained, which infuriated them to no end. They were completely powerless, especially as pure physical strength could not break their bonds.
When the man was first discovered in the hideout, you were ushered away to hide so you wouldn’t be caught in the crossfire as they dealt with him. You were the only spider not caught in his web.
The bastard continued laughing to himself, revelling in his complete power and victory, taking joy in the looks of absolute fury in the eyes of your only family. You had to do something.
A few months ago, you would have been ecstatic at this moment. You would have rushed out to greet the man and proclaimed him your saviour, doing whatever you could to help him destroy the Troupe once and for all. But things were different now.
When the gunshot rang out, your reaction would have anyone thinking it was fired at you, a short shriek cut off by a gasp at the recoil you hadn’t prepared for. However, you were drowned out by the man’s scream as he collapsed to clutch at his wounded knee.
“The fuck!? Who are you? Crazy bitch!” He screamed as he sat up, moving to aim his ability at you and confine you. “Not... not a Nen user? What? You just keep some useless bitch around without power? Should have expected that from the Troupe, probably your weird human-pet-thing!”
He seemed to like the sound of his own voice.
“Shut the fuck up and let them go!” Your voice was hoarse from crying and you could bet that your stance and figure weren’t the epitome of intimidation, but you hoped the pistol you were still holding held enough threat for the both of you.
“Hah, as if! Some freak retard like you can’t make me do shit! The fact that you even hit me once was probably a lucky one-off!”
An ugly sneer came over your face his horrible words, and you got so caught up in your head, so you decided to prove him wrong with actions instead of words
His second scream was closer to an anguished wail, most likely because you just shot him in the dick.
He screamed out incoherently for several moments as you tried to walk closer. When you stood near his side, gun shakily aiming at his uninjured leg, he suddenly pulled out a knife and slashed at you.
His attack made a deep gash in your leg, causing you to fall, but in your surprise you shot again, meaning you both screamed out in pain. As you were both stuck on the floor, things quickly became a physical struggle for control of the knife and gun.
Thankfully, things finally seemed to be going your way. While you probably weren’t strong enough to put a scratch on the weakest hunter, it was clear that to get this powerful, he had likely spent months, maybe even years, focusing on nothing but perfecting his ability, to point of neglecting physical training.
You tossed the gun away, not wanting to kill the man. Chrollo had told you once that people’s Nen remained and stayed stronger after their death, and you didn’t know what you’d do if you permanently harmed the Troupe. The knife was caught in both of your grips, pushing against each other with all the force you could muster.
In a split-second decision, you punched the man in his side, which made him slip for just a moment. The second you had control of the blade, you plunged it into his side, just below his ribs.
“Let Chrollo go! Let him go now!” You yelled, voice cracking and wavering but loud and hateful nonetheless.
The man’s face went through a myriad of emotions, all of them pained and scared. In your frustration at his lack of an answer, you pulled out the knife and stabbed him again, this time between the lowest two ribs.
After he finished gasping and wailing at his injury, tears filled his eyes as he moved one arm slightly towards the Boss. You kept the knife firmly lodged, fearing the worst, that he was tricking you, he was going to kill your family, he was going to take back control of the fight and hurt you.
But a moment later, Chrollo was released. He tested out the truth of his freedom, summoning Bandit’s Secret easily, as you gazed up at him with eyes full of joy.
“Chrollo... Chrollo can you... can you do that thing where you take other people’s abilities?” You said between gasps and whimpers, as the exertion of the fight finally started to hit you.
“Of course, dear.” He spoke with the same calm smile as always, seemingly unfazed that he had nearly just lost.
As he walked over, steps sure and strong, you took the chance to roll off of the man, leaving the knife for Chrollo to use how he pleased. As you lay there on the floor, everything began to sink in. The pain of the wound on your leg, the coldness quickly spreading around it, the sounds of the man right next to you being tortured and destroyed.
You covered your ears and turned on your side to face away from it all. This was too much. All you wanted now was to fall asleep and wake up at home.
Home?
But this was your home, with the Troupe. Ever since they burned down everything else you could ever love, there was no other home for you to go to.
Maybe you just wanted to wake up surrounded by them not bound and in pain? Yeah, that was probably what your brain had meant.
You must have zoned out at some point, because before you knew it, Machi was kneeled next to you, looking panicked as she took in the state of your injury.
“It’s okay, I got this.” She looked over to your face, seeing that you were fading in and out of sleep. “Hey, hey! Stay with us now! Chrollo, can you keep them entertained while I stitch this up?”
Chrollo sat next to you, pulling your head into his lap as he whispered praise whenever you whimpered at the strange, prickly sensation that began as Machi mended your wounds.
“You were incredible just then.”
“My perfect (Y/N).”
“You’ll always be ours, I’m so sorry I ever let that bastard breath the same air as you.”
“I’ll get you anything you want, anything, you’re so perfect.”
He muttered over and over, gently rocking back and forth, brushing his fingertips over the side of your face. You’re not sure when you started crying, but before you knew it you were sobbing into his arms as everything finally caught up.
You nearly lost everything you had left. The only people in the world who could love you. Here Chrollo was, praising and sheltering you, despite the absolute mess that you were.
“Crazy!”
“Useless bitch!”
“Human-pet-thing!”
“Freak retard!”
The man’s insults ask came rushing back in, crushing what little was left of the floodgates holding back your tears. The last one easily hurt the most, it reminded you of all the shortcomings that had haunted you from the day you met the Troupe.
Too slow to truly fight back.
Too slow to run away.
Too slow even really be useful to them, most of the time.
“(Y/N)? (Y/N), look at me!” Chrollo called out as he saw you slipping into unconsciousness again.
You groaned as you turned your head to look at him, avoiding eye contact as much as you could. He looked down with concern at your face that was no doubt twisted with all the emotions that you never bothered hiding from him anymore.
“You need to stay awake now, alright, little spider?”
Little spider. What a strange nickname. Yet, it was so fitting. You... didn’t dislike it.
“Alright, the wound itself is patched up, but they lost a lot of blood, they’ll need food, water, and rest to help replenish it.” Machi spoke as she stood, looking to Chrollo for his reaction.
The boss nodded, not moving your head from its position in his lap as he called over Phinks and Franklin, ordering them to go and get what you needed. After that, he finally lifted you up, not giving you a chance to walk on your own feet, instead settling you almost softly into his arms.
When you looked up, face messy with tears and dirt from the ground, you expected a look of exasperation, disgust at your weak state, but you were shocked by the smile, full of mirth that he sent your way when he noticed you looking.
Despite everything, it was the most comfortable you had been in years.

New Resistance Headcanons
So, I made a few posts of headcanons for Star Wars Resistance characters. However, I made those before the series ended and before TROS came out. Now that the both series are over, and we got to know the characters better, I thought of new ones!
Kazuda Xiono:
CB-23 helped Kaz through the loss of Hosnian Prime and PTSD. He didn’t want to give the FO the satisfaction of being broken emotionally, which is why he’s his normal, cheerful self in seaosn 2 (and TROS, apparently)!
When he was little, he wanted to be like his father, that is, until he attended a sky race. Since then, he has wanted to be a racer.
His squadmates from the premiere (Hugh Sion and Mia Gabon) had been his best friends since childhood.
He had every hologame ever created
He never wanted to go to military school. In fact, he did everything he could to get himself expelled. But, when he found out his father was pulling strings to keep him there, he gave in and started behaving better.
He was in his first year of military school when the napkin bombing (In the Bloodline novel) happened. When he heard about it, he freaked out and was really worried about his parents. When he heard that Leia saved all the senators, that’s when he began to admire her. That admiration didn’t fade when he found out she is the daughter of Darth Vader. Of course, his father didn’t agree with him, in fact, they got into a shouting match, which ended with Senator Xiono smacking Kaz across the face and grounding him for an entire season.
Wedge Antilles was Kaz’s flight instructor. He told Kaz stories of the Rebellion, which got Kaz interested in joining the Resistance.
He has gone on a few dates, but the girls he dated were only with him because he was rich or because they felt sorry for him.
He’s actually pretty smart when it comes to academics. He got the scar on the side of his head from a training accident. He tripped and fell onto a sharp ledge and had to have surgery. The injury affected his mobility, which is why he’s so clumsy.
He is (was?) close to his mother, who loves him and supports him in everything he does.
He had a nanny droid who was like a second mother to him.
His mother would take him to the Hanging Gardens and lunch at the cafe there, and Kaz secretly loved it.
He thought about starting a family when he was good and ready, and vows never to treat his children the same way his father treated him.
He has only been drunk once. He stumbled around town and broke into a store and made out with a mannequin. Since then, he vowed never to drink more than one glass per week.
He hated attending Senate dinners and banquets, but, in order to please his father, he kept still and hid his emotions behind a smile.
His only other language is binary, but he picked up a few languages after being on the Colossus.
He often imagined telling Tam, Neeku, and Torra the truth about why he was on the Colossus. Deep down, he knew that Neeku probably would have told the entire station within the hour, and Tam would have turned him in the first chance she got.
After Torra told him she knew he was in the Navy, he was secretly relieved that at least one person besides Yeager knows some truth about who he is. He would tell Torra stories about the Navy and Hosnian Prime. He promised her he would take her there someday.
He started to develop a crush on Torra, but instantly shook off those feelings when he found out how old (well, young) she is. If he pursued her, then Doza would kill him slowly and painfully.
He had nightmares about the Hosnian Cataclysm. Every time he’d close his eyes, he saw Hosnian Prime being destroyed.
He hid his grief for his home and his family and friends from everyone. In private he would sob his eyes out while clutching his lucky trophy like a lifeline, but otherwise, he’d put on a smile. Yeager and Torra know he’s lying, but decided to let him grieve his own way.
He bears no ill will towards the Resistance for not coming to their aid or failing to save the Hosnian System. Instead, he’s grateful they saved his life by recruiting him.
He feels bad about doubting Captain Doza, and even worse when he found out his wife is in the Resistance.
On their way to their missions, Poe would tell Kaz of his adventures throughout his life. Kaz loved hearing those stories, and was surprised to learn that Poe was from Yavin 4.
Deep down, he cannot understand why Tam is so intolerant towards him, but is okay with Neeku.
Initially did not like Yeager that much, but over time, he became like a father to him.
Kaz found a big brother in Poe, a little brother in Kel, and little sisters in Torra and Eila.
When he meets Rey, he is in awe. He’s never met a Jedi before. They instantly hit it off, bonding over mechanic-ing, piloting, and having an evil family member (If Hamato is with the FO).
He tries not to show it, but he is beyond sick of people doubting him and teasing him about his clumsiness and shrieking every five minutes.
It took every ounce of his willpower not to attack Hux at the Titan.
Jumped at the chance to join Lando’s fleet at Exegol.
“Hit those underbelly cannons. Every one we knock out is a world saved.” Kaz knocked out eight: five for the Hosnian system, one for Tehar, one for Aeos, and one for Castilon.
He was shocked that Poe used to be a spice runner, but accepted it and moved on.
He helped the Resistance rebuild and redeem the New Republic.
Yeager:
Yeager was born on Batuu during the end of the Clone Wars. Marcus was born ten years later.
Yeager joined the Rebellion a few months before the destruction of Alderaan.
His parents were killed by the Empire before the Battle of Endor.
He was in Green Squadron with Shara Bey (Poe’s mom).
He met Leia, Han, Luke, Cassian, Mon, Ackbar, Wedge, Norra, Shara, Kes, and Hera. He actually had a little crush on Leia until he heard she was taken.
He met Doza during the Battle of Jakku.
He and his squadron took down the main star destroyer. That destroyer had all the main computers and weapons for the battle.
He met his late wife after he was injured at the Battle of Jakku. She was a doctor.
He looked after Marcus after their parents died.
He and his wife tried for many years to conceive a child, finally succeeding nine years after the Battle of Jakku.
His ship was named after his late wife, Ayala.
He babysat Poe a few times.
He was there for Poe and Kes after Shara died.
After the death of his family, he punched Marcus, told him he never wanted to see him again, then disappeared.
Like Kaz, Yeager grieved in private. He became emotionally detached. When he hugged Marcus after the Platform Classic, that was the very first time he hugged someone since his family died.
Each night, he’d take his family photo to bed and talk to it about his day.
When Tam applied for a job at his shop, Yeager was instantly reminded of his late daughter (as well as Marcus). He accidentally called Tam by his daughter’s name once. They never spoke of the incident again. Tam was everything Yeager imagined his daughter would be like.
Over the years, he came across attractive women, but he never acted on them because he felt he’d be betraying his family.
The destruction of the Hosnian System reminded Yeager of Alderaan and his own family’s deaths. He hugged Kaz, but it was uncomfortable for both of them.
He was initially glad that Poe didn’t recruit him for the spy mission, but as he grew to care about Kaz, he kind of wished he agreed to do it in the first place.
Tam:
Tam was born on Kuat. Her mother died when she was a baby.
Once she was old enough, her father dragged her along to all of his races.
She heard stories about the Empire and the Rebellion from her father, who watered it down.
Her grandfather was actually forced to work at that Imperial factory. Sort of a reversed Jyn and Galen thing. Jyn thought Galen worked for the Empire because he loved it and hated him for it, but realized he was forced to work for the Empire. Tam actually loved her grandfather for working for the Empire, and thought he worked at that factory because he loved it.
Tam’s father died of bloodburn when she was eighteen.
Tam was angry after losing her ship and that race. Yeager calmed her down and talked to her a few times about it. He became like a father to her.
Hype was her first real friend. When he forgot all about their friendship, Tam took it really hard.
She was hesitant upon making friends with Neeku, but over time they became really good friends.
After Kaz joined Team Fireball, and everything that’s happened afterwards, she felt like her world was collapsing at an alarming rate. Kaz took her friends, her ship, and her father figure. She even envisioned smothering Kaz in his sleep.
She was surprised when Supreme Leader Ren wanted to meet with her. They bonded over joining the FO because they were lied to and deceived.
She gave the Fireball to Kaz, feeling that she doesn’t deserve it after everything that happened.
Neeku:
Neeku grew up on Tatooine (he came from a long line of bantha herders, and his species prefer desert climates).
He is the anti-Anakin: loves sand, was born and raised free, and did not like racing; but loved watching races.
He is either autistic or he has Asperger's.
He spent some time at Mos Eisley, which is where he’s seen bounty hunters.
When he arrived at the Colossus, he wandered around trying to make friends.
He and Rey would instantly bond over growing up on desert planets and being mechanics.

I was doing some research for a fanfiction, and remembered this line from Reality Trip, which got my criminal justice self all excited because of the implications. So have some analysis from a rambling autistic with a criminal justice degree.
“Daniel Fenton, in accordance with the Federal Anti-Ecto Control Act, Article 1, Section 1, Sub-section A, you're under arrest.”
Y'all, this is kinda wack? It means, on some level, there has been a federal judgment within the world of Danny Phantom that not only acknowledges that ghosts exist, but has an entire fucking act describing specifically the course of action in a sense. Lots of acts will kind of be this vague overarching thing with various random acts thrown into it, but the name along with the article one, section one subsection a dealio implies that this entire act focuses on ghosts. I say act and not law btw, because those terms are not necessarily synonyms.
Not only does this confirm that there are acts (at least one anyway) in Danny Phantom that specifically talk about ghosts, but kind of really and truly cements that the Guys in White are actually a federal government agency, rather than them simply acting as one but really being a private company of sorts or being some local state government program.
And with laws about ghosts, it means that legally, the government had to define what exactly a ghost is as well as their rights and lack of rights, and that they legally acknowledge, as a nation, that ghosts exists. While, of course, we don’t really ever get to see this act, and as far as I know, it’s literally Never talked about again, this scene means that this act applies to Danny. For a quick refresher, this happens after Danny is exposed, and so this act still applies to Danny despite him being outted as a half ghost. A scary sidenote is before this scene and line of dialogue, the agents told Danny that he was coming in for questioning and experiments.
So what might it possibly say? If there are any acts that we can potentially base what this act possibly would say, I would probably guess it’d be similar to the acts used for minorities within the United States. And I say these kinds of acts because they’re specifically acts that discriminate towards a group, and that have used various reasons to justify how they are not human, citizens or have any legal rights. If the agents’ lines were correct, these acts probably gave them justification for doing inhumanly cruel things to Danny.
Of course, Danny could be arrest for something totally different and not for some anti-ghost reasons. At this point in time, he’s still kind of half-loved, half-hated publicly as people are shown to still believe that he stole during the events of Control Freaks and the mayor incident of Public Enemies, but if he was under arrest for any of those crimes, the agents would have said that. And I refuse to believe this is an oversight of the writers, because they would have found any nitpicky thing and made it a funny situation where the agents went on and on and on about this endless list of crimes that the ghost boy has committed until Danny roundhouse kicked somebody. And no, it’s likely not because the Guys in White are only interested in Ghost Crimes. As federal officials, which they are confirmed to be, they would have arrested him for everything and have to basically fistfight the other government agencies investigating his Non Ghost Crimes.
So what exactly is he under arrest for? No clue obviously, and it’s hard to really even guess. Article 1, Section 1, Sub-section A for most acts are basically describing what the act’s going to be before it moves on to detail that. I think this is an oversight of the DP writers, lord knows we get enough of them, but it could also potentially highlight the Dumb factor of the Guys in White that we would see them sometimes exhibit, where instead of properly referencing the piece of legislation he’s under arrest for, they just blurt out the first section of that law.
And who wrote this act? It could be anybody, of course. Anybody within politics. It also begs the question as to exactly when this act was written and when it was put into effect. I’d wager it heavily depends on when the Guys in White came into effect, as they are clearly acting under these laws. Which begs the question: how many pieces of anti-ghost legislation are there? Who’s writing them? There’s potential that there are literally lawyers who are literally experts in ghost law. Keep in mind that in the beginning of the series, there was a lot of skepticism that ghosts even exist.
This honestly leads me to propose a new headcanon: The Guys in White are a very new government organization that spawned after the events of Public Enemies. To preface this and clarify, in order, the Guys in White appear in only five episodes: Million Dollar Ghost, Double Cross My Heart, Reality Trip, Eye for an Eye, and Livin’ Large.
Evidence to support this theory:
They only show up four episodes later in their first appearance in Million Dollar Ghost. Public Enemies seems to also be the first episode in the series that shows a massive onslaught of ghost attacks. I would guess that this is the ghostly event that probably spawned the act in question, which may have called for the organization of the Guys in White. Prior to this, ghosts were basically shown that they’re unconfirmed to exist on a public level. Even Jack, our lovable and excitable ghost hunter who’s been doing this since his college years admits in Mystery Meat that he’s never seen a ghost until that point. Jazz mentions that Harriet Chin in Bitter Reunions lost her job for writing an article about ghosts because she was laughed for writing about something that was more for “the national enquirer”, a conspiracy theory newspaper that nobody really takes seriously.
Why are they there during the events of Million Dollar Ghost anyway? If they’re a new organization, they may need that money or are cashing in on the publicity of the event to spread their name, or they’re just starting out and have no real clue where else to go. Only two of them even showed up anyway. The only other groups there are very small ghost hunting groups: literally two young adults on scooters, another set of young adults with a tiger fueled by anxiety and a van, and FentonWorks. And while they, out of all of them, clearly have the most advanced technology, they’re about on the same skill level as the other ghost hunters (getting captured and tricked and such just as easily). Danny even was just as “haha” about them as he was the other hunters who had showed up.
Their technology in Million Dollar ghost is nothing in comparison to the literal jetpacks and planes and four wheelers and armor they get several episodes later. Their funding increased when they proved ghosts exist and more ghostly events happened, and they likely proved their competence in some way. Especially when we see that they have been catching other ghosts (like Skulker in Double Cross My Heart and Lydia in Reality Trip) and gathering important information on ghostly artifacts (Reality Trip).
It would explain why they don’t really show up that often in the series, especially during major ghost events where they really should be there, such as the ghost king invasion of Reign Storm. They may have not secured the funding or manpower to really do anything just yet. Note that Reign Storm happened in between Million Dollar Ghost and Double Cross My Heart, which is almost a 20 episode gap. Their skills, knowledge, ability, technology and apparent funding jumped massively between these episodes, and it kind of stays about the same consistency for the rest of the show.
They really only seem to have one department, and they have really low employee numbers for a government agency. There’s no talk or implications or having multiple departments or anything, such as research or technology. Even during the SWAT invasion during Reality Trip, there’s only like twenty or so agents there. In Livin’ Large, there’s only about seven there, and two are the Agent K and O that we know. They play a lot of roles, from researching, questioning, gathering information, tracking down criminals, getting information from the Fenton’s lab, technology things in FentonWorks, etc. Of course, this is a staple for many law enforcement jobs where you have many tasks, but they seem to be playing the role of detective, computer analysis, and police officer at minimum given the wide variety of things we see them do. As somebody who’s worked in three situations where the company/program was very new, it’s incredibly common for a new company that’s still finding it’s groundings to have a very blurred job line. Or they’re heavily underfunded, but look at the goddamn jetpacks they get, look me in the eye and tell me they’re underfunded.
The lack of basic ghost information. In Livin’ Large, they want to destroy the Ghost Zone. It’s apparently very obvious that you Can’t Do That, but the Guys in White seem oblivious. While you can argue that they’re just fucking dumb, it may be more reasonable to assume that they simply just don’t know.
There’s no dialogue (that I can find) prior to Million Dollar Ghost to suggest they exist. There’s also no dialogue from Vlad, who would have known and been wary of such an organization had it been around for years, to suggest that they’ve been around a while. Jack, who also is open about how much he admires them, would have likely said something to. But I am willing to chalk this entire part up to simply poor writing.
“But Danny knew who the Guys in White were when they showed up in Million Dollar Ghost!” Yeah. He also knew who the other people were, and I heavily doubt that they’d be as big of a deal or name as the Official government branch. It’s very likely that they all introduced themselves when they showed up.

Spill the tea on the Bad Batch my dude!
Oof, I feel like I'm hitting a wasp nest with a bat, but let’s go.
First of all bear in mind that I don't hate the Bad Batch, but I do have some problems with them, which revolve more about the implication of these characters than the characters per se, so @ Bad Batch lovers please don't hate me too much...
The short versione of this answer, is that I find that they have a kind of "I'm not like the other girls" vibe than I'm not a fan of, but there's more than that.
Let's get the obvious out of the way: they're all painfully whitewashed. Like holy shit. Tech looks like Griffin Mcelroy and that’s not someone that a maori man should look like. Even though all the clones are already whitewashed as hell, they even went a step further and whitewash the Bad Batch even more, and I don't need to tell you that the implications of them being not only whiter, but also The Special Ones, are bad.
And since we're talking about design, I've gotta say that I’m a bit disappointed with theirs, because again, they look like white men even more than regular clones do already, but also mostly because I didn't see these "favorable mutations" at all, except maybe in Wrecker since he's bigger than the others. Want I meant to say is that they look more like the sterotypes they're supposed to represent: Crosshair looks like an asshole, Hunter looks like a pseudo Rambo/Solid Snake and Tech looks like a nerd.
And like, the only actual mutations are Wrecker's strenght, Tech's bad eyesight and Hunter's heightened senses. The rest, like how good Tech is with technology or the fact that Crosshair is an excellent sniper, aren't really mutations, but talents. Idk I wish they would've been a bit bolder when deciding what mutations they could've given them. One could argue that Tech is there because he's autistic coded, and ok, fine, but then why is Hardcase, who is neurodivergent coded as well, in the normal army then? Why wasn't he with the Bad Batch? What exactly gets you in there and what gets you to be listed as a reg then? It’s confusing.
Also, to go back to the "I'm not like the other girls" shit, I kinda feel like they go against everything they've been trying to do with the clones in the series? Let me explain: they spend so much time showing us that each clone is different from the other, both is a physical way and in a mental way, but now you’re telling me that’s not really the case, because they're regs, and the only ones who are actually different are the Bad Batch.
They also feel a bit one-note when you think about it, which isn't their fault since they didn't have much time to shine, being in just for episodes, but even then they showed us more how much of a badasses they are, and not who they actually are. I feel like they could've done more with them, especially considering that Echo barely interacts with them but he still decides to go with them instead of staying with Rex with which he has a bigger bond, but I guess since he's different too now he's got to stay in his lane? Frankly at this point I would've rather see more different troopers into different batallions, instead of having just one group of them. And like, good for Echo I guess since he’ll probably/possibily escape Order 66 like this, but his choice feels more driven by the fact that the plot says so, rather than he feeling a genuine connections to these characters.
At least for the fact of them being one-note there's hope, since now they have their own show, so there's the chance that they'll get to fluorish as characters, at least I hope, because as amusing as I find them the way they are, I'd still love for them to be a little deeper than “oh look, Wrecker is Heavy from TF2, Tech is Engineer and Crosshair is Sniper” (in this comparison Hunter would be Miss Pauling you can’t change my mind).
Also idk, I feel like there are already the commandos that do the same exact thing they do, and Delta Squad had made a cameo in the series, so they should exist in canon too, so it would’ve been cool to see them, especially since the only time we see a commando in action is with Gregor which, I mean, he’s good and all, but the arc in which he appears isn’t that great imo (and let’s not talk about what they do to him in Rebels cause that’s a beast on its own). Also given how shitty Karen Traviss is, and the fact that, from what I’ve gathered, there’s some bad blood between her and Filoni, I would've loved if they put the commandos in the series and actually done them well and without all the mysoginistic bullshit she's written in her books. That would've been mad funny and I would've loved it so much.
And like sure, the Commandos feel separated from the rest of the troopers too, but I feel like it's been done a little less than how they did with the Bad Batch, but I'm not sure about that still is still haven finished the Repcom books, so I might be wrong about that, but at least in the videogame they don’t seem to consider the “regs” something separated from them.
And this is what I think about the Bad Batch. Moral of the story: I think they had the potential to be something really cool, but it wasn't executed well.

Strictly Ballroom (1992)
Oh my god, one of the funniest movies ever made. Every single thing about this movie makes me laugh out loud - in fact, I laughed so loud in the theater when I saw it the first time I’m surprised they didn’t kick my ass out. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched and re-watched it. My late wife and I used to quote this film back and forth to each other all the time.
“Arms, Clary!”
“That was unexpected.”
“I’ve got my happy face on today!”
There’s a lovely little romance going on and a quote that I live by:
A life lived in fear is a life half lived.

Bringing Up Baby (1938)
Screwball comedy romance with Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn. Still funny, over 80 years later. Mistaken identities, a harrassed archeologist and a clueless rich girl, so on and so forth. If you watch it, you will see shades of Wu and Sayuri in Susan, for sure. (And some Zu in David.) The comedic timing of this movie is sheer and utter perfection. Not a single beat wasted. Brilliant, the entire thing.
Moonstruck (1987)
God, what isn’t there to love about this movie? CHER. A woman coming up on middle age who has settled into widowhood without a whimper decides to marry a man she’s fond of for no other reason than she thinks she should meets the fiance’s younger brother and her entire life goes, as her Italian Catholic mother says in the middle of church, “...down the toilet.” This movie was handled with so much love and care, it deserved its Oscars. If you’ve never seen it, you should.
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000)
I saw this movie the one and only time I visited the States after I moved to Finland. I had left my wife here in Finland but had my 20 month old autistic twins along and my mother was being beyond horrible to me and I was exhausted and just wanted to go home. There was one afternoon where my favorite uncle came to me, gave me his car, and told me he was going to watch the kids and for me to go out and have a breather. I decided to see a movie - I can’t remember which one - but the paper had gotten the time wrong and it had already started by the time I got there. I asked the woman selling tickets what she recommended that was coming up and she very fervently told me to go and see this one.
Still one of the best movies I have ever seen. The acting is so subtle, so beautiful, and the scenery! The ending broke me, just shattered me into a million pieces. Years later, when my wife died, I knew exactly that feeling of desperately wanting to go back in time and somehow do it all right and all I can say is, both Michelle Yeoh and Zhang Ziyi get all of my love forever for doing it the way they did.
I bought it when it finally came out on DVD with English subtitles and I made my late wife watch it with me and she sobbed at the end and told me I was cruel for making her watch it. (Guess what, babe? You were crueler for making me live it.)
The Handmaiden (2016)
Normally I am not all that keen on books being made into movies. I fucking loved Sarah Waters’ Fingersmith and wasn’t sure about it being taken out of its Victorian England setting into 1930′s Korea but oh my god I have never been happier to have been proved wrong in my life. THIS FILM. Listen, it is one of those rare times when a book and an adaptation can stand next to each other, equally as good, equally as strong, despite the differences. There is so much to unpack about women’s experiences with sex and how that compares to how men dictate those experiences to them and the movie never drops the ball with this. Frankly, I had seen Oldboy and Snowpiercer (among others) and I really did not think Park Chan-wook had it in him and shame on me for that.
Warning: this movie is HOT.
Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)
This is a damn good movie. Charlize Theron elevates anything she is in, and as Furiosa - dirty, grim, disabled, clinging on to tattered hope with desperation - she just takes this film to another level. Plenty of other good performances - including Tom Hardy, who’s never afraid to drop himself into a role - and some frankly astonishing editing work by Margaret Sixel as well as a male director who understands, deeply, how to film women without subjecting them to the male gaze. This is not a schlock film, despite the franchise it belongs in. It’s good.
I saw this film the night before my wife died; the last time I spoke to her on the phone I told her that I’d take her with me to see it again, I knew she’d like it. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to separate this film from that loss, but that’s how it goes sometimes. Still wish you could have seen it, babe. You would have loved it.
The Great Race (1965)
Is this a great movie? Not critically speaking, although Jack Lemmon is brilliant, as he almost always is. Rather, it was a movie my father and I loved together, and I have so many good memories of watching it with him whenever it would play on TV (these were the years before VHS even, never mind Netflix) and eating popcorn and laughing together.
We loved the huge pie fight scene so much that on my 16th birthday my father bought 3 dozen store bought pies, defrosted them and/or baked them (with the help of our neighbor, who was in on the secret) and he woke me up that morning, told me to get dressed and come outside, and he got me with a pie to the face right as I walked out the door and the two of us chased each other, throwing and dodging pies, making an unholy mess, slipping and sliding all over our deck and driveway, stumbling and laughing hysterically.
It is one of the best memories in my life. How many other girls can say their fathers gave them a pie fight for their sweet sixteen? This movie makes me laugh and, more importantly, remember my father with so much love.
The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
I did love all three of these films. Were they perfect? No. (I am still salty about Faramir’s entire movie arc and the fact that Merry was just Pippin 2.0 instead of the distinct character he was in the books.) But they were made with so much love and heart by people who loved and cared deeply for the source material. And they were astonishing in scope as well. Just glorious to see in the theater.
I first read those books when my father lent me his copies when I was eight and they were a vital part of my growing up; to see Peter Jackson and his entire cast and crew love them as much as I did was genuinely special for me.
The other two films are just as good with some astonishing moments (Billy Boy’s last minute song in The Return of the King still gives me goosebumps) but this was the first one, and just remembering holding my wife’s hand as we both gasped together over the scope of it was a memory I will keep with me always.
When my wife and I went to see this one here in Finland I was pregnant with my twins and I was like, oh my god, please die already Boromir because were twins on my bladder and I knew if I didn’t get to a toilet soon it was going to be all over. (It was a long movie without a pee break for a pregnant person, let me just say.) I was never happier for a tragic end to a movie in my life, LOL.
The Matrix (1999)
Dude. Dude. Just the concept of this movie. The Wachowski sisters have never limited themselves and that’s what makes them so different and so exciting. One of the greats of Sci Fi and, as far as I am concerned, one of the greats bar none. Yeah sure, I know it isn’t a critical darling but lord, I am not a film critic, just someone who loves movies. And I love this one.
(And excuse you, Elon and the rest of you alt-right men’s groups, you dicks, for appropriating the whole blue/red pill thing: it’s a concept from two trans sisters, so fuck right off with that.)
My best friend, who saw it with me the first time (I took my late wife to see it later in the year when she arrived in the States) laughed at the whole little kid with spoon scene. That’s like listening to you, she said. I never know what is going to come out of your mouth or whether I’ll understand it in the moment but it will eventually make sense to me. Which pretty well sums me up, I think. And this movie as well.
The Piano (1993)
There is a moment, in this gorgeous, deeply beautiful, aching film, where Harvey Keitel fingers a small hole in Holly Hunter’s stocking and it is the most erotic heterosexual thing I have ever seen. Trust a woman director to understand why women would love this. There’s Harvey Keitel’s character: older, soft around the middle, barely literate, covered with traditional facial tattoos. He’s nobody’s idea of hot. But he understands what this woman in particular needs, understands what she is telling him without words, and that’s what he gives her and it is erotic beyond measure. It’s not about what he looks like; it’s about how he understands her.
Holly Hunter does this movie without speaking a single word or getting any subtitles and short of a few brief translations by Anna Paquin playing her young daughter still manages to express herself. It’s brilliant acting. (And look, I know - today we’d look for an actress who was mute to play the role, and rightfully so. It still doesn’t take away from Hunter’s performance.)
Ada drowned in the original script but Jane Campion changed it at the last minute when filming and it was the right choice. The absolute right choice. Ada deserves her freedom and her chance to pursue her own happiness.

Teen Wolf Rewrites, Fix-Its & Canon Divergence
Have you seen the TV series and found the characters treated badly? Maybe you have and maybe you haven’t and I fall into the latter category but I will always enjoy people’s take on our favourite characters~

Stiles and the younger members of the pack are in the middle of their junior year. Things are quiet; there's finally a chance to be happy. There's a chance for them to be teenagers and maybe even pursue love. But everything is about to erupt once again as buried secrets come to the surface, the Alpha Pack finally makes its move, and the guilty will be brought face-to-face with their crimes.
Oh, and after disappearing for more than a year, Scott McCall has returned to Beacon Hills.
This is a rewrite of the first half of season three with the idea that Stiles was bitten in Wolf Moon instead of Scott.

“You can’t be here. This is private property,” someone calls out and for some reason that voice sounds painfully familiar.
When it hits him why, Stiles almost chokes with the realization, “Derek Hale,” he says, unbelievably happy because he remembers Derek when they were young.
Derek looks grumpier, sadder, angrier. Stiles can’t really fault him for that. He also looks surprised that Stiles knows who he is. He squint/glares suspiciously at him, his nostrils flare for a second before he widens his eyes almost dramatically.
“Stiles,” he says quietly, like he can’t really believe it.
Stiles beams, “Yeah, you remember me!”

i have been in a real bad artblock and had so much mental exhaustion lately so i decided to do what usually helps when i’m in those Moods, which is to make silly doodle comics!! this time feat. prototype characters and anti-capitalism. since they’re my characters now they have to be anti-capitalist and i have justifications for each of them from what limited personality they’re given in-game, but that’s below Keep Reading as well as my other Thots
Dr. Bradley Ragland: his first line is “my medical opinion’s not for sale” and also he stopped working for GENTEK bc of moral reasons, despite the fact that they probably paid him A Lot. i think he deals with a lot of frustration with the situation he’s in but that’s for another post!
Dana: she’s a journalist and jumps at the opportunity to expose GENTEK for their awfulness. that’s about it. god i wish prototype characters got more Actual Dialogue they’re good in Concept. she’s just so chill with her brother murdering military (which, well, same) until he starts talking about how he eats them and gains their memories (which is fair, it does sound very crazy)
Alex: eats amoral scientists who justify their actions with “they didn’t pay me to feel” and “morality wasn’t my job”(<-- Alexander J. Mercer himself) and i imagine he’d be like “:/ i don’t like the sound of this ‘money’ thing”. also alex is quiet here because he’s in nonverbal mode. he’s autistic ok. am i projecting? absolutely.
anyways anyone else agree that instead of kidnapping Dana, the hunter just destroys Dana’s friends apartment and Dana has to relocate to Bradley’s clinic and they become a proper trio? like. you know. more character interaction. i actually have Some Thoughts on how i’d give Bradley more of an arc. also i’d make him more of an eccentric guy - i mean he did put up whole anatomical drawings of leader hunter in like less than a day and is really chill with Alex’s whole Consuming thing. Dana finds Alex attempting to consume a toaster while Bradley observes and takes notes, and when she asks what they’re doing Bradley’s like “i asked what else he can consume and he didn’t know so we’re testing a bit of everything. it’s very intriguing”
Alex is ok with it bc he’s curious too and he likes to eat things (he did get very distressed that one time he couldn’t eat a thing and immediately went to Bradley to find out how to eat it)
pointless rambling done. i am tired and just typed at whatever came to mind, but i am very passionate about prototype apparently! one day i’m going to have to make a whole re-write of it, both 1 and... 2. especially 2.

@fanfictionfridge: So I’m back to my headcanon about autistic!Scott (who I’m aware was written to be an Average Boy, but there’s a lot of unintentional parallels to autism that I’d like to muse upon) So here’s what I think when I think of autistic Scott: - he was raised by his mother and canonically exhibits “female strength” in the form of patience, compassion, and nurturing. It’s not a far reach to say he was socialized in the way girls are, with an emphasis on sticking together and working as a group. This is all meant to say: Scott’s autism would be more invisible to the untrained eye due to him realizing he can fit in by mimicking the behavior of the people around him (namely Stiles) - speaking of mimicking, whenever Scott has to make difficult decisions, it’s done with a “what would [this other person in my life] do in this sort of scenario?” Kidnapping Liam, for example, was a very Stiles thing to do. And Scott repeats Derek’s “we’re brothers now” despite having cringed at it himself - Scott has this childlike naivety and ability to take things too literally that’s very autistic (e.g. “my mom does all the grocery shopping") - Scott’s special interest is lacrosse, something he persists in despite his asthma, and later, despite werewolf drama - Scott’s best friend has ADHD, which is just a fascinating tidbit because me and a lot of autistic people I know are very close with ADHD folks because of our many overlapping symptoms - Scott’s stimming can be said to be subtle, like taking the form of bouncing when he’s happy. He also has a thing with his thumbs. It obviously nowhere near as flaily as Stiles, but this isn’t a competition, okay? - Scott’s relationship with Allison begins with Stiles explaining to him “You don’t ‘hang out’ with hot girls” and, later, when Scott mentions he’s studying with Allison, Stiles says “That’s my boy,” cajoling Scott into doing more than “just studying” - Scott’s relationship with Kira can be summarized by Scott following a script he built with Allison and then belatedly realizing, in horror, that he’s doing things with Kira (kissing her, saying he loves her) in such an automatic way that it leaves Kira in shock - Scott’s relationship with Malia actually had time to develop because they were friends first, so the most different part for Scott is when they sleep together and Scott ends up in a sweater in bed after sex like he’s just hanging out with a friend - Scott has a very strict moral code, which tends to be prevalent in autism. His morals allow him to make exceptions for lying villains (e.g. willing to kill a sick Gerard if Gerard’s lying gets anymore people hurt) but is harder to bend when he sees that the antagonist is also a victim (e.g. Void Stiles) - Scott is hyper-empathetic, meaning he’s prone to putting himself in other people’s shoes even when it’s not in his best interest to do so. He’s also prone to not wanting to hurt anyone’s feelings - Scott repeats arguments because he has conversations scripted in his head and when they’re going wrong he must repeat ~•~

I admittedly don’t know a lot about autism and I don’t generally have an issue with headcanons, no matter how wild they are.
However, first they use race to abuse the fandom and now they’re using autism to demonize Stiles and literally explain away any if Scott’s culpability? Scott got with Allison b/c of Stiles? He kidnapped Liam (even though Stiles was against it) because of Stiles?
This insistence of white people using minorities (be it racial or neural in this case) to do their bidding, is such an example of their privilege that they’ll never see. Along with everything being normal and fine and nothing is wrong ever. It’s one of the reasons so many people are freaking out about their civil liberties being abused by the stay at home order. Nothing is wrong, everything is fine I should be able to go out if I want to!
Scott telling a survivor, maybe the hunters had a reason to burn his family (including humans) alive, well that’s fine, he’s autistic and can’t gauge emotions and it sounds like something Stiles would say (sure…) so Scott was just repeating it and these guys were mean to him so he was being mean back but also he wasn’t because retaliation is bad but only if someone does it to Scott and everything is fine he can work with the hunters if he wants to!
Saying Scott has a feminine energy which precludes itself to working in groups (what?) when Scott is a terrible team player with many canon examples to back it up. He doesn’t plan, he doesn’t rally the troops (Stiles does, funny how Scott doesn’t mimic that), he conspires and often leaves others out of his plans but in sure there’s some autistic explanation fridge is ready to give for that too.
Rather than have Scott own up to his mistakes and grow and learn from them, they’d rather publicly give him “autism” (fridge’s thinly veiled version) and make him so emotionally stunted that he basically a mimic instead of an actual human being.
Because for whatever reason, they can forgive each other, but God forbid they try to extend grace to anyone outside of their circle.
The funny thing is because Scott and Stiles are analogs, the same argument could be made for Stiles, with the exact same results. Stiles could have been repeating the hot girl line from Scott. But if someone were to try that headcanon then they’d somehow be racist or ableist or whatever.
They really are something else.
