i miss when sonic games would have multiple stories each with different playable characters i miss sonics stupid friends so much its unreal

#LIKE i know theyre not gone because they still show up sometimes and theyre around a lot more in the idw comics #but i miss when we would get stuff like the sonic adventure games and sonic heroes #where the other characters are much more prominent rather than just. standing in the background and having a few lines here and there #i know forces tried the multiple playable characters thing but it just didnt feel the same #because 1. they werent separated into different stories like they used to be and 2. 2 out of the 3 playable characters are sonic.
