A new kind of impulse kicked in so finally have the official design of Overrift Tails!

Little bit of info on Overrift Tails: This version of Tails is currently in his teens due to the time that has passed in the Overrift rp. He has grown past Sonic's height for obvious reasons of course, being a Fox mobian and all that. And has also gained more fox like markings to his fur such as on his ears, hands, and feet. The accessories are just some extra stuff I added on of course, along with changing his red shoes to blue, in reference to some pieces of media where Tails would wear blue shoes instead of red. Blue is more his color anyways. ^^

Sonic and tails yelled at they felled though the floor, landing into an abandoned room with water, sonic groaned as he slowly stood up seeing that the water came up to his shoes before gotten out "you okay, tails?" Sonic called out but the sound of laughing made the two look and saw surge standing on some rocks with electricity surrounding her.

"I win!" Surge laughed madly as sonic and tails eyes widened as she raised her hands high in the air, charging electricity.

"wait surge, stop!" Sonic yelled as Tails tried to quickly get out.

"die!" Surge yelled as she suddenly slammed her hands into the water, shocking Tails causing him to yell before he went limp, falling back into the water, not moving at all

"Tails!" Sonic yelled as he helplessly watched him get executed.

Surge laughed as she stood back up "1 down, 1 to go. It just you and me now" she grinned while sonic had jumped into the water, pulling out tails.

"Tails, say something!" Sonic panicked as he put his ear again tails chest, hearing a weak heartbeat but couldn't tell if it was getting weaker or not "come on stay with me!" He yelled as he didn't know what to do as he started to wonder if he could ran away while holding him.

Sonic mind started racing as he didn't know what to do, he felt helpless as he couldn't help him; his eyes started to sting while he started to tumble as he started to think what if Tails died but the sound of laughing made his eyes widen as he listened to surge "aww what the matter sonic? Sad you couldn't even help your so call 'friend'? Well don't worry, I'll send you to hell with him" she laughed.

Sonic tumbling turned into him shaking as he slowly placed Tails down just before he slowly stood up, squeezing his fist tightly while his fur started to turn black "...surge..." Sonic hissed "how could you..."

Surge ignored him as she changed up again and was about to attack him, but before she could react, Sonic appeared in front of her with his fist already pulled back before he punched her, causing her to yell as she was sent flying through a wall, into an empty room where she groaned and slowly stood up "surge..." She heard sonic call out to her making her growl, and look at him but her eyes widened in terror as sonic was towering over her but it wasn't sonic as his fur was completely black with a purple aura around him "if Tails don't wake up in the next 6 minutes..." Sonic started but surge cut him off.

"what!? You going to start crying!?" Surge yelled but Sonic had reappeared in front of her, his face inches from from hers, his dark green eyes piercing into hers, causing her to stiffen in terror.

"I'll make sure you never wake up again" sonic said as he instantly grabbed her neck again, rising her in the air, choking her before he threw her against another wall.

Surge yelled as she dropped to the floor, slowly getting back on her feet, glaring at sonic "you think you such a big deal, I'll show you!" She yelled madly as she saw that he was standing in some water before she quickly shocked the water, wanting to hear him yell in pain but she didn't hear anything cause her to slowly stop her attack, seeing it had absolutely no effect on sonic.

"...4 more minutes" Sonic growled making surge eyes widen as the timer had continued.

For 4 whole minutes surge had tried attacking sonic any way she could but nothing had worked, even when she tried to run away sonic had simply threw her back where she was.

"time up... Tails is still not awake!" Sonic yelled enraged as he slammed surge against a wall, instantly grabbing her throat and started to squeeze it watching her immediately claw at his hand trying to get free; sonic glared at her as every good deed he ever done, everyone he ever saved, all the time he had smiled felt like a disgusting lie with what he was going to do to surge as he kept squeezing her throat harder, watching her eyes started to roll in the back of her head.

"honestly I leave you alone for a few minutes and I come back to this" A voice called out making sonic stop choking surge and look back to see eggman was standing across the room acting as if nothing was wrong.

"eggman..." Sonic growled as he turned his attention back on surge "stay out of this" he demanded while eggman had simply looked at him.

"fine, though wouldn't you rather be next to your little fox friend" eggman said making sonic eyes widen "he is okay, from the looks of it he'll be waking up any second now" he explained making sonic hesitant for a moment before letting go of surge, making her grabbed her throat gasping for air as tears filled her eyes.

"eggman... if you are lying to me..." sonic threatened as he turned to look at eggman.

Tails groaned as he slowly sat up, holding his head "s-sonic" he called out.

Sonic's eyes widened as he appeared quickly next to Tails, his fur instantly returning to normal before Tails had noticed anything, Sonic smiled and placed his hand on Tails back "I'm right here buddy, are you okay?" He asked him.

"y-yeah just a headache but nothing some medicine can't fix" Tails said as he slowly stood up with the help of sonic, he looked up and saw eggman making him confused "eggman, what are you doing here?"

"came to make sure neither of you are dead" eggman answered him "it good to see that you two are still alive, that means I can still get rid of you myself, but not in this beat up sorry state you're in now. Go ahead and leave while I handle things here" he told them as he looked at sonic.

Sonic nodded as he picked tails up and left "but what about surge?" Tails asked him

"it's okay, eggman can deal with her" sonic said caring little about what happens to her as he made his way back home to heal tails.
