Thoughts on JJK chapter 249 (Spoilers)

We start with a flashback to how Yuta's suprise attack against Kenjaku truly ended

Sth that Toji had already foreseen happens when the manipulated curses of Geto's CT come out in droves when Kenjaku loses control

I'm sceptical of that explanation though. It looks more like Kenjaku intentionally released all cursed spirits to create a distraction. We see that in the fact that Kenjaku still controls the curses afterwards.

This distraction is mainly used to add a new rule to the CG. There is also the possibility that Kenjaku had the time to do sth else while Yuta's focus was somewhere else. For now, it looks like Kenjaku has died though.

(I'm really expecting some Takaba/Kenjaku friendship fics, also "this millennia" is only 18 years.)

Visually and otherwise interesting here, is that Tengen was turned into an embryo while in a womb-like construct inside Kenjaku's "body". Tengen is a 1500 year-old once-woman who had turned her body's aging back twice. Now she had been turned against her will into a pre-birth creature, who was than swallowed by a 1000 year-old man.

(Sukuna is a seahorse, confirmed)

Even if it turns out that Kenjaku had been a man in his original body, he's still the most female cis man in shonen outside of One Piece characters. Also, it's Megumi who's caught between all these fossils and their procreation shenanigans. Let's if some of that stays with him.

Yuta has some second thoughts about their plan and how they split up. At the end he plainly states that he mainly wanted to kill Kenjaku himself but the current fight is what it is, and he has to deal with that.

In close combat, Yuta can hold his own and even lands a hit on Bellymouth. Sukuna's CE energy output recovers though and so does the danger of his DE. That's when Yuta activates his own, sth he couldn't do while fighting his three-way battle.

True Love reminds me of Hifune (Soul Eater) and his way of fighting with dozens of swords thrown around. Sukuna's DE is stronger so Yuta has an additional and unknown time limit on his hands.

Sukuna knows Hollow Wicker Basket, the anti-domain technique we saw Reggy use. For him it actually has a purpose because unlike Megumi's DE, Yuta's has a sure-hit. Sukuna has four hands though.

Yuta's DE works like this apparently: his copied CT are represented in the form of swords. He can activate the CT once to attack his opponent, afterwards the sword disintegrates. I don't remember Thin Ice Breaker from another sorcerer though.

3 questions:

Does the cursed technique through the sword attack have to be completely in the form of the original CT? Or can Yuta change it enough to make e.g. CE blast attacks?

Will the copied CT get erased from Yuta's memory once the sword disintegrates?

Are the copied CTs split into their different applications? Like one sword for Blue and one sword for Red?

For the second time in a row in the last two chapters, Megumi gets name-dropped again. Add Yuji into the Domain with his punches having the effect of separating soul and body and it looks like a Megumi moment is on the horizon. What that will look like is anyone's guess though.

Yuji is not to be fucked with. What Sukuna says on the other hand, makes me think that Yuji still puts his life into roles that others give him. His cog mentality is still present.

I think that majority of players don’t even know that chen is one of the main character in game that it’s sad. I see a lot of people complaining about her appearing in stories after reunion arc even though her screen time is already a lot less than amiya and kaltsit… I think yj already forgot about the main characters concept lmao but her getting new outfit at different region is cool i guess but why are those outfits so weird- (sorry this is just my personally ranting…

i have my personal nitpicks for every outfit but (looks at gavial2 summer skin) a 8.8 is so much better than a...nvm i'll refrain from grading. but for all the nits i pick i think they still pass the baseline of costume design because of the storytelling they do

base chen: cop who likes to yolo a bit too much, leave that one button undone so roll up her sleeves, give her gloves, give her a walkie talkie/earpiece etc, e2 makes that jacket even bigger and has that yummy rhodes teal

CNY skin: still of the opinion/hc that its the dress fumizuki mentioned which is why she looks like shes wearing it grudgingly, it has shorts though at least !!

chummer: shes (trying to be) on a holungday so bring back her epic tourist c cap and make her existing recognizable jacket more summer-y, also the duck heart emoji

So, in the first CG, we see Marius pushing rosa down on his office table. Dude, it was such a stressful moment for rosa. I thought he was going to fire her or maybe sth worse. But due to the CG and the scene description, at the same time, it was so fucking sexy. Marius was not flirting with her imo, even tho, because it's marius, he unintentionally has this aura that emanates sensuality. I'm sorry, I had to say it lmaoo

And then we got the other one, when they were torturing marius.

Bruh, I cried. I've never seen marius suffering that much. I deadass thought he was going to die at that moment. I appreciate the angst tho. I know, I'm crazy.

seriously, I wish I could write as good as whoever wrote this card story. It's insanely good.

Also, when he was being tortured, sth that really caught my attention was marius' eyes. When he was in pain, for a moment I thought he had died because his eyes looked so dead, as if they had lost their natural sparkle.

Probably the most agonizing marius card I've read. Although he already suffered in other cards too.

i’m really bad at structuring these posts so i’m just gonna waffle.

the first thing i really like about reijiruki is that, in my opinion at least, they both have the same love language! i think it’s pretty clear that both of them show their love by acts of service. making their s/o tea or food. i also love the times ruki eats yui’s burnt food and i think that just shows that he really appreciates the thought. 

i can imagine a reijiruki relationship just... constantly being them doing things for each other. like, look i cleaned the house, look i made dinner, look i arranged your precious plate/book collection <3 but they’re both not actually great with words so they keep going back and forth but that’s how they communicate their love. 

i don’t think ruki looks up to reiji as much as sees him as an equal. i think it’s a shame that ruki rivals w/ ayato in his routes because i want reijiruki! i get why, but damn i wanna see ruki competing with reiji. ruki competes with reiji BECAUSE he sees himself as an equal. and reiji gets caught off-guard because ruki treats him like an equal. 

generally in canon, reiji seems to look up to ruki quite a lot? especially in more blood when he just casually rocks up to the mukami manor with yui and is like “hey can i stay here, also have this highly valuable item” and ruki is like ??? okay?? also in reiji’s lost eden, he really appreciates ruki’s input! and when ruki says sth like “i will follow you, reiji sakamaki, who follows his feelings” or something. it’s really sweet and it’s like ruki finally accepting reiji for who he is. and since reiji really respects ruki, i can imagine that meant a lot to him. 

ruki is quite cocky and although reiji looks up to him a lot, i think ruki would be the first to fall. like he spends to much time thinking about reiji and why reiji is like that towards him and BAM, instant crush. but reiji would take a long ass time to realise he likes reiji too. and from then on, they just... compete for each other’s attention. they would try to impress each other and it’d bounce back and forth for ages until one of them sucks it up and confesses. 

reiji and ruki both take a long time to admit their feelings and we see that in canon too. ESPECIALLY ruki, although reiji does it too. in more blood and lost eden when reiji can’t understand his feelings, he pulls away but he usually regrets it. i will always think about the CG where reiji cries over yui. 

ruki is worse with this, though. in dark fate, he takes his feelings out on yui because he can’t understand them. lost eden hurts me the most, the way he completely withdraws from yui when he’s struggling w/ the karlheinz stuff because he just can’t bring himself to talk about. so, they’re not big talkers. 

in a relationship situation, i think this could be an issue because they wouldn’t ever want to admit to anything being wrong. they don’t to seem less to the other people because they value their opinion so damn much. both reiji and ruki would notice something is wrong with the other too but they keep chugging on and avoiding talking about it because NEITHER of them can communicate it!

however i do think once it’s out there, they could talk things out quite well. they’re stubborn but i think they would compromise with each other. it’s just getting it out there which takes time. 

finally, i wanna talk about why both of them have difficulty forming meaningful relationships and why having each other as equals would be really revolutionary. 

ruki has a higher self-esteem than reiji and i will die on this hill. obviously ruki doesn’t love himself a whole lot but reiji has very bitter feelings towards himself. reiji grew up second to shu, constantly thinking something was missing and that he was missing this love-deserving quality. nobody could love him, he was second to shu. he was never enough. 

i think reiji as a kid learnt to just... not see much of himself and that’s why he grows up so arrogant and cold. he doesn’t like himself at all so if he’s uptight and bitter and it’s how he gets by. it’s the only image of himself he can deal with. 

ruki’s major issue is taking accountability. like, he just sucks at that. in more blood, he’s a dick to yui for the most part. when he can’t become adam he blames ayato, he blames the fact he’s not a full vampire. and like, yeah, that’s why he can’t be adam but damn ruki, even if you COULD, you wouldn’t be. because ur being a dick. 

and you know, ruki had a really hard upbringing. his mother had an affair, his father committed suicide. i understand why he doesn’t want to blame himself for things going wrong but it definitely gets in the way of him actually being honest with other people because in his head it’s never him that’s the problem. 

in dark fate, it’s shin’s fault. it’s yui’s fault. it’s his brothers fault for failing their task to karlheinz. but it’s never ruki’s fault, is it? no, this bitch doesn’t apologise for anything until dark epilogue in dark fate. i think that’s the turning point for him and yui’s relationship and it’s BECAUSE he finally took accountability for what he’d done wrong. 

i think in my head i like to see reijiruki as being one of the less problematic ships but realistically, they’d be pretty difficult for each other before they paid attention to their different. ruki could definitely be a dick about things and act like he’s right and because reiji has such low self-esteem, he either gives in or gets bitter about it and then they argue. a lot of the time i think they’d take a long time to reach agreements. 

with that said, neither ruki and reiji are physically violent and neither of them are openly suicidal. makes them smoother than subakou i think.

Since Red, Blue, Yellow, all of them have one ep where they play as a villain (AvM Original - AvM Witch - AvM Lucky Block), it's easy to say that Green gonna has one too. But what's he gonna be?

1, AvM - Totem of Undying

Green died the most in all 5 of them, and the Totem of Undying is a saving item in Minecraft. Some theory about the Totem of Undying was about a village get trapped inside the Totem, if Alan follows the theory then maybe Green also getting possession ?

2, AvM - Entity 303/ Null

Idk what to say, but it's just the same to Red. Also possession. I don't think this too much.

3, AvM - Note Block

I- don't think about it actually, but Green was counted as the Antagoist in Note Block ep based on wiki

Maybe he goes supervillain after drinking the poison of musically ? ;)

4, AvM - Purple's betrayed

Purple aready betrays Green, twice. For this work, maybe Purpe trick the CG to abandon Green, leading him to be a villain ? Or maybe he accidentaly kills sth, and blames it on Green ? For this it has 50% work since I don't think Alan gonna make Purple a protagonist anymore.

5, AvA - The Dark Lord

Okay, this is what I want to talk the most. There are lots of similarities between Chosen - Dark relationship and Second - Green relationship. - They becoming friends after touching hand/ shaking hand ( and besides, one of them want to fight the other) - They have the closest bond (can't be sure with Chosen and Dark since Alan didn't say anything but we can easy to believe it) - Green being Good At Everything (Alan confimed :D) can be seen the same as The Chosen One, The Second Coming or The Dark Lord. But this can't be sure since my HC was the name refers to the person, it mean three of them in my HC was also, good at everything. Second, for example, he shows to be good at music (Note Block Battle) , coding + building (Restone Academy), fighting, and his main interests still hasn't been discover. - They also rival with each other, both good and bad way.

There're also 2 thing often happen in a story, replaced and repeated (it sound a bot weird lol). Replaced kinna like how Purple and MT relationship, they both lost sth and the other just fit in the hole that lost. We DO NOT say that Purple replaced Gold, Purple is Purple. But we not gonna talk about Replaced. We talk about Repeated.

Repeated is an action, or stuff that got repeated again in the story. Like Red getting possession twice, in AvM- Original and AvM- The King, or Green getting kill twice in one epison. So I want to say about a repeated in Chosen - Dark action, appiled to Second - Green action.

The thing make this theory not okay is that Green is not the type of guy who is curious, if say in that way, Yellow or Red fit in the role of someone who tries to find A FREAKING DANGEROUS PERSON like The Dark Lord more than Green. For this, Green has to have something that really curious him enough to find Dark by himself, without the color gang and Second.

(and for this to work, Dark also needs to be alive, or at least be a majoy problem in Green's head)

So I really want Green to play the villain role and battle with Second, kinna like best friend turn into enemy. But this has a bit of problem, Green surelly died if he did that :), and I don't think Alan will kill an important role like Green or the CG (if they can't come back)

6, He never be a villain

- DJ like Green (lol, surely not the main reason) - Green is perfect ( I believe) - Okay, We know that Green has been kill by his best friend, twice, has been betray by his friend, twice, and he still forgive them, like dude... - I used to read a comment in AvM 29. The comment says that, Green during the chase asks Purple if he's good or bad. But after seeing Purple's backstory, Green has pushed away both the devil AND the angel. To my HC, Green belived in "Not everyone is all bad". And that the reason why Green, after this epison, is even hard to make him a villain (the eassiest way is only by force, which is getting possession I belived).

Saying all that, but I just gonna left a small conversation between Green and Dark here ;). I have had this in my head for a while now.

Green: Hey... Dark Dark: ? Green: Can I be a villain? Dark: Why did you ask that? Green: I mean.... I don't think I ever being a villain in the story before, or maybe being like, a powerful hero ? I feel like I'm just an average dude, and I feel... Dark: Feel what? stuck or something ? Green: I- Dark: Then maybe when you live long enough, you will understand how stupid you just say. Green: What !?! Dark: Just stop thinking about it kid . Green: Hey you're not answering my question ! i just made this blog for hopefully some cool agere content :> so while i’m here lemme introduce myself !!

i go by a few names, but the one i’ll use here is tk (i don’t want ppl to be able to find this account from my main blog bc not many ppl know i’m a little) i may add more names later :]

my pronouns are they/them + a few neopronoun sets (again , don’t wanna say bc it’s kinda traceable ><)
