Mono has managed to stray from the path and is now out of reach, but the Signal Tower is not yet beaten while there is still a pawn on the board. And it seeks to use it to get him back, but can it use it’s second pawn the way it intended without the first pawn?

I’ve seen Hezuart’s ‘Channel change’ AU. It’s nice that the boys got a happy ending but I absolutely hate the sucky ending that Six got in it, yes hate it with a passion (and Hezuart’s explanation did nothing to help that and only made me hate it even more), so I’m going to fix that. Not only fix Six’s ending, but also change the fate of someone who didn’t appear in ‘Channel change’ at all (you’ll see who in the next page)

I’ve asked Hezuart if I could make a continuation/fix-it of her AU (and I did say that it’d be a fix-it but won’t involve the boys since they’ve already got a happy ending and I’ll leave that be) and she said yes [Proof of permission].

So Mono managed to escape from the loop and the Signal Tower obviously isn’t a happy bunny about this because it’s significantly weaker without Mono, but there’s a chance for it to restart Mono’s loop all over again, as the loop has had two pawns in it: Mono and Six.

It looks like Mono is currently out of its reach, but it could use its other pawn, Six, to get Mono back and restart the loop by sending an oblivious Six back in time to befriend a slightly earlier version of Mono so that it may start the routine all over again.

Using what little power it has left, it opens a rift to send Six back in time and Six, not knowing where the rift came from or leads to, just sees an escape from the Hunter and takes it.

Unfortunately for the tower, it doesn’t have full control over time without Mono as it sends Six back in time, and without Mono to give it full control, Six ends up being sent further back in time than the tower intended. Where did she wind up? What will happen to her?

Digimon Tamers - Episode 8

Hmm this episode was just okay. There were some really nice animation moments, but it kinda felt like there was a lot of drawn out fluff. I still enjoyed myself, but I spaced out a couple times so I guess it didn't have me super gripped.

Notes:

Impmon was a fun little asshole in this episode. It's funny how he doesn't ever really get the reactions he wants. Renamon just kinda ignored him and Guilmon is too innocent to realize he's being trolled. Love a goofy villain who's bad at being evil. (I'm sure he'll get something darker to do eventually tho)

Terriermon has such an interesting personality. You would think such a cute little guy would be nice and affectionate but instead he's very blunt and says whatever's on his mind without much care for other's feelings. The way he inappropriately reacts to things yet seems to have a sort of wisdom...neurodivergent digi? (he does kinda look like autism creature lol)

The fact that Guilmon has a hobby of burying and digging up his food makes me think of enrichment for a caged zoo animal...at least he can technically leave

This episode did a really good job of making big digimon actually big! Adventure struggled with that at times (Greymon's size in the movie vs. the anime for example). I feel like showing off the hugeness of digimon and making them feel intimidating is all about the angles/perspectives they're "shot" at. Devidramon and Growmon felt properly intimidating in this.

Asanuma-sensei's JP voice is very monotone. She kinda sounds dead inside. She also barely reacted to a giant goth dragon flying inches from her head lol. I'd be screaming and peeing my pants and she was just like "what was that...?"

It's hard for me to not read "Grow" as grow...I get that it's from "growl," but that romanization is confusing out of context...

Takato being sucky at strategizing with his cards felt relatable to me lol. I'm bad at strategy games...

Seeing Guilmon digivolve for the first time was exciting and I look forward to seeing more Growmon in the next episode. I'm not super bothered that his design didn't change much. It's just annoying that digivolution is so inconsistent and sometimes they look completely different and other times its more gradual. Also, wait...when he was born Takato's digivice had to scan the drawing of Guilmon but this time it just kinda happened. Hope we get an explanation for all this eventually...

Speaking of unexplained mysteries, Culumon randomly shows up right as Guilmon is digivolving and his head lights up. The timing was suspicious, but I have no idea what the connection is yet.

I don't really get why Renamon and Terriermon couldn't have helped Guilmon with his fight. Renamon was like "that's Guilmon's prey..." which sure, makes sense with Ruki and Renamon's style of battling for power, but what was holding Jian and Terriermon back exactly?

SO. SAKURAI. sakurai my baby.

sakurai is a genderfluid, pink haired dweeb machine, who is also disabled! (win for the community). his quirk is cadenza, which basically means that he can make anything he sings come to life and he can manipulate sound waves to do whatever he wants them to do, pretty much. eventually he even learns how to mimic people’s voices (thanks to shinsou and present mic).

he’s got a story up on ao3 so i don’t wanna spoil too much of what hasn’t been uploaded yet. pretty much. ANYWAYS.

he did something really really bad when he was very young, and was held by the hero commission from ages 4-8 before being adopted by iida tensei and haimawari koichi (from vigilantes). he sees tenya as his brother and they refer to each other as such :3. there’s a whole bunch of shit with the iida family being sucky but that’s just them.

he is so so so cool. he’s scenemo and dabbles in vkei and GAWRSH i love him. he also has like. four boyfriends and dates another character at one point (does not end well). he’s so silly i adore him.

his four bfs are ojiro (ofc), shinsou, todoroki, and bakugou bc. things happen. he’s also really close with the “bakusquad” and ends up getting into shenanigans with them often. he’s really good friends with jirou since both of their whole shticks has to do with music!

okay and for these images, a few notes! 1. ignore the art style/design on the first one, it’s old, i just don’t have anything with his coloring on hand rn 😭

2. yes he’s dressed as miku in the second one but the front of the hair is accurate. in the first one, that’s how long his hair is generally. hehe

his hero costume looks the same, the only thing i changed was his hair. oh yeah! that’s a sensor on his palm, it’s how he uses his quirk (plus his vocal chords), and he has scars on his neck !

He's not a horrible person. Art is subjective and that is one style of art.

But his insight into how Brian helps the people he cares about and wants them to have big goals and reach them is so accurate.

Which brushes do you use for CSP 😳??

ok lemme explain, [tho if you dont wanna read all this just skip to the images in the end that i posted of my dumb self made and modified brushes] i have always used different mediums in my art~ ive used SAI, Gimp 2, CSP and occasionally Photoshop for the effects, filters and some brushes~ and i almost never remember where i downloaded them from because, first off, they were free anyway and i also almost always change them to fit my style beyond recognition to how they originally looked by default XDDD

MOST of my work is usually with SAI with almost the only brush i use in general for everything [ Inking, Coloring the edges, Shading, Lighting, and most other hand drawn shapes and hatching and etc ] is used with these settings. i never change it because i had years of experimenting to finally be comfortable with these and i will die a painful death if anything happens to my laptop before i could save these settings so i keep it in my art files just in case lmao~ [i do NOT like change and trying new stuff is2g i need therapy-]

HOWEVER when it comes to CSP i have had..... very depressing progress yay :D ... SAI in my experience has been a bit sucky in being able to handle large sizes and layers or anything else and having the possibility of crashing but the way it makes some things easy has been a MIRACLE for my lazy ass, i might have given up art before i ever even started if SAI didn't exist, but as how all EASY things usually are they start lacking in variety after a while, and i realized since one of my friends had bought me a CSP a long time ago, heck i might as well use it and oh my GOD the anxiety it induced ended me up with an IV and several trips to the hospital for injections to calm me down [and potentially temporarily blinding me] im not even joking. i mean yeah i was going through stuff back then that did NOT help my situation in general but the fact that CSP doubled my anxiety cuz i just couldn't draw with it made me have several existential breakdowns where i thought i will never be able to improve my art as a self proclaimed artist anymore because i had gotten so used to only working with what i found PERFECTLY comfortable to my own tastes that im just useless at getting used to anything else... so what happened was that i went on the most violent weekly spree of downloading any brush i could that even resembled REMOTELY to what i wanted- i also searched for brushes on tumblr or google or anywhere else- i watched so many CSP transition videos on youtube my brain was spinning and i was on a rout of self destructive agony to make this WORK. so now i have a bajillion downloaded brushes and all of them have spawned 20 other copies that i have aggressively modified beyond any sort of resemblance to what they used to be- it doesn't help that the file names and the brush names are different so i cant search for them either 😑

but if the brush names could help you in finding them uhhh, heres like.... 1/10th of the brushes i downloaded and modified that i actually did NOT go back and delete because they are fun to have around XD

I don't really do ships in Eddsworld, but I find any ship with Modern Matt and Classic Tord kinda cute :P Also, I swear I was gonna try and answer this ask in the same hour, but I got a bit carried away with my regular style >w> (and I didn't even do lineart the way I usually do- :'0). Anyways, have this kinda sucky reference sheet of Zedd! With and without my regular Overlay :P
