                Sneakers.

Blisters! Well this just frigging sucks! Throwing the shoes to the floor in a fit of temper. Money wasted, glaring at the offending shoes, "you cost an arm and leg!" She berates the offending items. "Is it too much to ask for a pair of shoes that are fashionable yet comfortable and don't give frigging blisters!" She rants to no one as she is alone in her tiny flat. "All i want is to break the monotony" she sighs. 

Checking her reflection in the mirror, "what? No!" As Her eyes befall the obvious stain on her top. "Great! Can anything go right today?"  Tossing the top she reaches for a shopping bag of recently purchased items of clothing.

"Shit" she growls as a the shopping bag and a shoe box tumble and land squarely on her head before continuing their descent. "Sneakers" she mumbles.

Opening the shoebox her mind drifts, floating on memories.

Sungwoon.

Their relationship was fun and exciting in the beginning, when did it get to be a routine? She ponders, the answer is elusive but facts are facts. Recalling that fateful night over dinner, suggesting they take a break.

"What the hell are you talking about?" He asked eyebrow raised. "We have become each other's favourite sneakers!" She calmly replies. "Sneakers?" Once more with a questioning tone.

Looking at him, this is harder than I thought it would be, she sighs to herself. "Comfortable! A never ending routine!" His eyes blazed with anger, "sneakers!".

He said as he stood up, his anger written all over his face.

Glaring at her,  fire burning within in brown eyes, "sneakers!" He let out with a menacing growl before he stormed out of the flat.

That was two weeks ago. 

'I miss him, more than I thought I would damn him!" She angrily thinks to herself "I did the right thing!".

Recalling when the sneakers arrived, it was what? A week after dinner?   A note simply written 'seen these thought of you. S." 

Recalling opening the packaging, a shoe box, inside a pair of sneakers, the shoes were very nice but…..

"Is he mocking me?"  "Sneakers!".

Remembering her anger, "sneakers!" Yelling.

The offending sneakers were put away without even trying them on. Since the break up everything  has gone haywire she feels like she is in an never ending loop of mishaps. Am I being unrealistic? Are my expectations too severe? 

Sitting alone in the flat, staring at the shoe box, loneliness overwhelms, retrospection infects like an incurable disease.

Missing him, the intimate moments, the conversations that he was always there for her. "Damn him" she mutters with no malice. Opening the shoe box, admiring the sneakers  she decides to put them on.

Trees as far as her eyes can see. It is beautiful and the scent of nature is everywhere. "How did I get here?" Shrubs and fauna litter the forest floor. "Amazing" she murmurs. "A path" she murmurs,  wondering where it will take her she decides she wants to find out. 

"No it can't be?" She utters. "Sungwoon!".  Walking towards her with strides of confidence, he looks good, she tells herself, taking in every inch of him. "Sneakers" she whispers, noticing he is wearing sneakers, what takes her breath  away is the fact they are twins to those that adorn her feet. 

The distance between is shortened with each step. "Sungwoon," she smiles. 

His answer is a gentle hug followed by  a passionate caress.

"Sneakers are not always monotonous!".

JM is the kind of family who will pull a pit stop in his busy schedule to be there for your concert because he knows you're nervous. The best friend who will wear your initial on a necklace when you're in covid isolation to let you know he's thinking of you. The kind of boyfriend who will fly from Paris to Korea just to spend your bday/one night with you. What an honor & privilege to have a bright light like JM in your life. I imagine anyone who does, feels like the luckiest person in the world.

He is honest to God the most supportive and beautiful friend. He values the relationships in his life so much and I know he makes them all feel so loved. He is so special. Showing up for birthdays, showing up for concerts for his friends, making a post for someone when needed. Making posts supporting his friends music releases.... always giving affection freely and with so much warmth to all his friends too

Like so many of us ARMYs, I’m concerned about how enlistment is going to affect each of the members, but here, especially how it will affect Jikook. None of them have been apart from each other for that long in 10 years, & for a couple, particularly a gay couple, I can’t imagine the amount of anxiety & pressure they must be feeling. Never having been in a relationship where one member (or both) are serving, I have no experience to draw on. I’m hoping they all come back healthy in all ways, and that Jimin & Jungkook emerge as solid as they seem to be now. Based on your lengthy observation of Jikook, what are your thoughts/concerns? I realize it’s speculation for you too, just thought maybe you’ll have something to share that I’ve missed. Also, do you think Sungwoon’s enlistment is partly the reason Jimin has become quiet again? That it’s had a sobering affect on him, that is. Thank you for always taking these questions, & giving your thoughtful answers.

Hey there. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I've been so busy lately, and it's probably a good think I was, helps deal with them being so absent lately, lol.

*Disclaimer: Before I start here, these are all my very personal feelings about the issue. It's not an easy subject and some might rather not read this or disagree with me, which is more than fine. But if you do decide to join the discussion, because I do think this will be the start of one, then keep it civil.

Anyway, to your question. Or questions actually.

I'll start by mentioning, once again, that I served in the army. I did 2 years of service. I know about military service, discipline, hardships.

Like you I worry about them all. Military in SK is different, harsher than what we know of. As far as soldiers' individual rights they are eons behind.

Hazing is still a thing, and even if there are laws against physical hazing there is still much of the psychological stuff going on, and to some extent that could be even worse.

You have rank and seniority hierarchy too.

And I can imagine small small people loving the idea of having such seniority over a member of BTS, those "rich uppity up brats" (their envy talking, not me).

So I worry about them all.

But out of all 7 I worry most for the maknae line and for Hobi.

Idk, maybe I'm wrong, but I feel that Jin, RM and Suga will be ok, they will handle it. It's the age, it's the maturity, it's their vibe.

Hobi I worry about. He's been showing us lately who he is, been more open about it, and I fear that might bring on some unwanted attention or behaviours towards him.

Same or even more so where JM is concerned. Add to that his chronic pain.

Don't get me wrong. These are two very strong determined young men. They have more internal strength than we could ever imagine. Look what they ALL went through to get where they have. Fighting through doubts on the way, persevering even when thinking of throwing in the towel. But they had a support system around them. They had each other to lean on, to turn to, and even if they didn't open up or seek the help, it was there for them. Here, most likely, they will be on their own. If and until they make friends they will have to deal with it all on their own.

JK, he should be fine as far as the physical. He'll manage the discipline too. He might be a non conformist but he knows discipline. He'll manage. I worry about him because of how hard it will be for him to be apart from JM. It's the being apart and it's the worrying on his part for JM. Good thing they are allowing them to use their phones now in the afternoons.

As I mentioned, they know discipline. That's nothing new to them. But this is different discipline. JK will manage. Being the youngest had it's perks but also it's disadvantages, and one of them will now make it easier for him to endure in the army.

And here come in my worries for Tae. Because Tae ain't good with authority. Tae is a free spirit. An alien of sorts, lol. Does what he wants when he wants, and that ain't gonna fly in the military. Add to that his mental struggles, I just can't help but really worry for him. There are people that do ok in the army and there are those that just don't fit the mould. Tae, in my opinion, doesn't fit the mould. And he won't have JM or Hobi to be there with him, to support him, to get him. I do hope he's in a happy place relationship wise at the moment, something that may ease it, or on the other hand may make it harder.

Hey, I'm not even finished yet, shit.

The emotional aspect. They are all very open with their emotions (well JM a little less open with us but aware of his own). One thing I have heard from men that have gone through service in Korea is how the army 'killed' them emotionally. They speak of how they used to cry prior to army and don't anymore. Knowing these young men, it breaks my heart to think they might have to go through that. I don't want them to have to go through that.

And I know they are famous. They are BTS. But in the army they are private Jeon or corporal Kim (when they reach that rank). And although there are those that say "the army know how important they are and won't allow anything bad happen to them", well the army can't control every soldier with seniority over them. The army can't control the disgusting behaviours we've heard of from other idols that have gone through service (taking their photos in the shower is one of them), nor can they control the hardships these young men go through, the emotional turmoil they go through, including Korea sweethearts like Taemin.

So yes, I'm worried about their well being. Physical and mental.

You ask if I think JM and JK's relationship can survive this?

My answer to that is a definite yes.

Won't be easy. Will be very hard. They have been with each other constantly for years now. And even when apart, it's only for a few days at a time and not very often. Being apart for such long periods of time will be hard. But it's doable, especially for them. These two, they are so in love with each other, totally committed to each other (and for those who mock these words I say mock away, we see it, the love, the commitment).

I don't know what it's like serving while your partner is waiting at home, but I do know what it's like being the partner at home while the one you love is serving and away from home. It's hard, it takes a lot of you, but when the relationship is strong although it's hard to be apart it also gives you the hope and strength needed to get through the hardships.

I can tell you that one thing that does happen, again, when the relationship is a good strong loving one, is that distance makes the heart fonder... The days he was back on leave...nah, too private...

And if my example is not enough, take military deployments overseas. US soldiers, as an example, leaving their loved ones, partners, children, at times for months or even over a year at a time, deployed on the other side of the world. Yes, there will be relationships that won't survive it, but a strong love, a strong stable committed relationship survives that too. And at times, when everything is over, can come out on the other side even stronger.

So, bottom line is, that I do believe they will be ok, their relationship will be ok. They will get through this maybe even better and stronger on the other side.

*Side note: I don't know about us though. I don't know how we'll survive them being away for such a long time. 😭 Unlike each other, they won't be texting us or talking to us in the afternoons, lol.

Now to you question about JM becoming quiet again...

Wait, when hasn't he been quiet over the past couple of years? I mean, he shows himself once in a while, but he's definitley not one of the more active members.

I'm sure Sungwoon's enlistment has it's effects on him, you know, making everything even more real for him. But I think JM has been preparing himself (they all have) for enlistment since the start of 2021. Mentally and physically. And I KNOW that no matter how well you think you ready yourself it's never enough, and his friend actually going to the army would effect him, but I don't think it's as you put it "a sobering effect on him". He knows it's coming. He saw Taemin go, he saw what happened to Taemin (I'd think that would have been scarier).

These are 7 amazing strong young men. Even if they aren't together physically, they know they have people who love and care for them that will be waiting out there for them to give them all the love and support they might need (and this includes each other). They will get through this. Hopefully easier rather than harder. And when we get to see them on the other side, they will have had more life experience to write their music about. They will return to stage with a fire, a determination, and with a weight lifted off their shoulders. The weight of expectations. They will be free. Not owing anyone anything.

They will be ok.

I saw this comment a while ago and i think people like anon (who was talking about we not wanting jm to date woman) who are interested in matching kitchen counters and sofa (that comes with the house itself) would be able to explain me why jm's kitchen counter and daeun's kitchen counters are on completely opposite sides??? I don't get what's so hard to understand that it's not about the fact that she's a woman... It's about the fact that there's no proof they even know each other.

The most ridiculous thing is that they keep comparing it to taennie, mijoo, or Jungkook's leaked video when it's so obviously different. At least they're there with the girls. But I can't prove anything with that, the same way I can't prove anything with daeun, because you can't even see him. How's that so hard to understand 😐 it's not that I'm making an exception because it's a rumour that involves Jimin. It's simply a baseless rumour to my standards.

It's also about the extreme push of it all.. from the beginning they made it a "living together" rumour. It wasn't dating, or hook ups or anything, it was straight up living together 🥸

The eunwoo and saeon jokes are more widely accepted simply because everything mentioned. There's at least proof of them already having a relationship, a friendship. It's the exact same as when they say Jungkook is dating mingyu. There's some basis of real relationships in all those jokes.

Jimin was the first member to have female dancers, and to dance with one. He joked with armys about it just like how he fast forwarded the like crazy mv simply because that's what he does and he actually cares about the content being appropriate for everyone; but not precisely because he's scared of being seen with women or anything. Pjms were literally celebrating every moment of it, and pjms were also really happy about the photos he took at jitb party. I myself also thought they were all so cute.

It's not that it's a woman, it's the context and how hard they keep trying to make it seem like it's the same situation as taennie when there's a literal video of Taehyung and Jennie walking hand in hand, and they expect me to sit here and look at couches and say "oh yeah absolutely this is irrevocable proof of a relationship and it's totally in the same level as a photo of Taehyung kissing Jennie's forehead".

I don't even care to look for pictures but the mental image when you compare the three situations (taennie/daeun/Jungkook and mijoo/mysterious woman) is so absurd. One is definitely not like the others.

This is from 2020. Ravi specifically brings up their friend group and asks TM to talk about his friendships. TM doesn't actually give anything away, but I think it's fair to say they're all still friends.

There's also this from 2021, right before enlistment. Again, I don't think there is any reason to not believe him when he says he's a good friend.

I don't want to speculate in a huge way, but I will say this. We know what kind of person JM is. He's kind and caring and thoughtful. I imagine he's been a good friend to TM this past while. And there was a soccer game that Jimin and Sungwoon were at in a private box, while TM and their friend Kwonho were in the stands. I don't think TM is gonna go sit in a private box during enlistment (or at least be seem doing so). That's a very bad move PR-wise. Yet, they all attended the same game. Make of that what you will. 😌

    The first day of Junior High was promising to be one to remember. Park Jimin had spent all summer talking about how a childhood friend of his was back in town from who-knew-where and had enrolled to their school. New students weren’t actually a rare thing in a big school such as theirs, but Jimin had spoken so highly of this boy that everyone became extremely curious to meet him. And apparently, ‘everyone’ meant the whole student body.

    Jimin and his friends were quite famous – or infamous – in their school. They were the perfect image of a stereotypical group of teenage boys from a romcom-coming-to-age movie: good looking, sporty, easy going and actually smart people. Jimin, in particular, was a very affectionate kind of person who had a thing for pulling silly pranks to embarrass his friends. These games were legendary, something close to a tradition, made good-heartedly to make people laugh.

    Clearly, the new boy was not going to be spared. Especially not on his first day.

    For the occasion, Jimin had painted black bold letters over a white king size bed sheet and had it hanging over the school entrance where no one could miss it. It spelled: “Welcome Home K♥♥kie!”.

    “It’s a bit simple isn’t it?” said Y/N’s friend Lisa as she locked her newly bought second hand car. “I mean, it’s funny, but not that funny.”

    Y/N nodded in agreement tying her hair in a high ponytail. “I’m sure there’s more. Jimin raised expectations and he knows it. He won’t let us down.”

    “Look, even Professor Bang is waiting!” Suzy laughed pointing at a window on the first floor. “I knew he enjoyed these things.”

    Y/N smiled at the sight of her favourite professor. “Bet he missed it.”

    “Who didn’t!” Lisa exclaimed. “I mean, everyone is here.”

    She was right. The parking lot was packed, small and big groups of people all gathered waiting for the new boy’s grand entrance.

    “Did Jimin mention if he was cute?” Suzy asked Y/N.

    Y/N smirked. “Why? Want to make a move?”

    The girl shrugged. “Me and Lee broke up ages ago, I’m ready to put myself back in the market.”

    “Good for you.” Y/N replied. “I’m not sure, anyways. Probably is though. “ She added eyeing the group of boys who was standing under the white banner, all dressed nicely in white shirts and black trousers.

    “Can’t imagine Jimin being friends with someone ugly, honestly.” Lisa commented looking in the same direction.

    “Don’t be mean. He’s friends with all kinds of people.” Suzy defended.

     “I know. But I mean his real friends, his inner circle.” The girl clarified. “There’s clearly a pattern.”

    “Shush.” Y/N straightened up. “I think his coming.”

    In fact, the boys had started making their way through the crowd, asking everyone to take a step back to create a clear path that lead to the entrance door. They positioned themselves orderly on both sides putting a serious mask on their faces, hand behind their backs holding something Y/N couldn’t see.

    The crowd had quieted down, stretching their necks to see better. From their spot under the steps, just a few feet away from Jimin who kept his place under the banner, Y/N and the girls had the best view of them all.

    The roaring of a familiar motorbike interrupted the silence as it entered the parking lot. From afar Y/N could see the boy riding it making unclear signals at Jimin who, on the other hand, knew very well what they meant.

    “Two minutes guys! He’s right behind Sungwoon!”

    Soon enough a dark expensive looking car entered the school perimeter and parked in the first spot available. Y/N could feel everyone take a deep breath out of excitement. She did as well.

    Somewhere behind her, music started playing something that sounded awfully like a badly remixed version of a Taylor Swift song, loud enough to be heard by the boy who was now exiting his car, backpack hanging over one shoulder.

    He looked tall and slim but somehow fit. He was wearing light blue jeans and a simple black t-shirt matching his dark combat boots. He was wearing his sunglasses over his head, the yellow lenses contrasting with his raven hair.

    He walked confidently towards the entrance, with a model-like walk, until he noticed the corridor the crowd had created to let him pass and he stopped dead in his tracks. Next he registered the music and, as he looked up, the big banner towering over Jimin.

    Y/N could see his shoulders shake lightly in what she believed was laughter and his head shake side to side in disbelief. She couldn’t help but laugh as well as Jimin’s friends started showering him theatrically with red petals as he resumed his walk towards the entrance door.

    As he came closer and closer, not even trying to shake off the petals over his head and shoulders, Y/N could take a clearer look at his face and the first thing she noticed was his smile.

    He was smiling brightly, not only with his lips but also with his big dark eyes. It was an infectious expression of pure joy that made more than a few hearts skip a beat.

    “Told you he couldn’t be ugly.” Lisa muttered distractedly in Y/N’s ear. The latter couldn’t help but giggle.

    He was cute.

    The boy stopped right next to them, covered from head to toe with flowers, looking up the steps toward his long time friend Jimin who was wearing a smile just as bright as his.

    “I guess this was really necessary.” He spoke for the first time with a soft melodic voice as soon as the other boy reached him.

    “Mandatory.” Jimin specified. He signalled to someone to his right and soon enough a freshman came running to him carrying a red pompous looking pillow on top of which lied a heavily jewelled plastic crown. He cleared his throat before looking solemnly at the crowd. “We are here reunited in this glorious day to celebrate the return of the long lost king of the kingdom of BH High!” He announced making everyone smile widely. He took the crown delicately as if it was real and held it on top of the head of his half annoyed half amused friend. “ I hereby present to you His Majesty, the just, the loyal, the bunny looking, King Jeon Junkook the First!”

    “All hail King Kookie!” Jimin’s friends called in chorus, still in their positions, standing like soldiers.

    “All hail King Kookie!!” Y/N echoed happily with the crowd.

    Jungkook played his part nicely, although he couldn’t hide his smirk. He took off his sunglasses and bowed his head as Jimin placed the crown on him, officially proclaiming him the king of their high school.

    Right in that moment the school bell rang, signalling the start of the lessons. The fun was over.

    “Just like planned.” Y/N heard Jimin say as everyone started heading for the entrance, some of them giving Jungkook a quick but sincere welcome.

    She and her friends started walking to their classes as well, leaving the two boys behind to catch up.

    “I knew the banner wasn’t all of it.” Lisa laughed. “This might be my new favourite.”

    “You say that every time.” Suzy countered. “But I agree, that was fun.”

    “Jimin is really one of a kind.” Y/N replied with a smile. “How does he even come up with this stuff? Anyways, I have to run.” She added giving the girls a quick wave before taking the stairs to the first floor. “Professor Kim hates latecomers.”

    “See you later!”

    Fortunately enough her English teacher seemed to be in a good mood, maybe it was because it was just the first day of school or maybe it was the contagious glee dancing in the air.

    Y/N chose the last empty desk near the window, a few rows from the back. Her favourite spot. She started bringing out her pencil case and her new notebook, placing them neatly in front of her with a smile still lingering on her face. Her day couldn’t have started better.

    “Do you mind if I seat here?” A male voice asked from above her.

    She looked up and couldn’t help but let her smile widen. “Of course not, Your Majesty.”

    Jungkook rolled his eyes smirking as well. “It’s going to be my burden isn’t it? I’m already getting tired of it.” He joked as he sat down next to her.

    “Are you really?” She arched a brow, pointing a finger to his head where the plastic crown lied proudly. “Doesn’t seem like it.”

    “Jimin bet I didn’t have the courage to keep it on during class. Easy win.” He grinned. “Would you testify for me?”

    “I got you.” Y/N agreed happily. “But I also have to warn Your Majesty that it might not bring you any good. Professor Kim is a tough one.”

    Jungkook looked up to the stern looking woman. She was already eyeing the toy on his head. “I bet I will win her over.”

    “You clearly have a gambling problem, Your Majesty.” Y/N teased.

    The boy shook his head. “Please, stop calling me that. I’m Jungkook. Not Kookie, mind you. Jungkook.”

    Y/N shook the hand he was offering with a genuine smile. She gave herself a second to look at him. He was indeed good looking. “Okay, Jungkook. I’m Y/N.”

    The boy smiled back, his bunny looking front teeth shining on her. “Nice to meet you, Y/N. Wanna bet we’re gonna be great friends?”

I'm not really interested in this wooga squad in the soop, but I would absolutely love it if someday in the future we could get a padding squad edition, I would love to see their group dynamics. Maybe I would also like to see jimin, taemin and kai kiss each other on the lips. The rest of them can watch. I'm telling this to disney+.

Anon, what makes you think Kai would really be a part of that combination? He would end up aside, pining 😂 He's the guy that won't get picked up. I'm just imagining Kai being really excited and into it, finally this is his shot, except he wouldn't even get a chance to get close to those two. And instead he would suffer by watching it cause maybe he's a bit of a masochist. Also, let's pitch this to HBO and let the kids watch Disney+.

Yep, this is definitely a more interesting idea. I remember seeing a short clip on IG of Sungwoon and his friends, the ones who were in London in 2019 and met with Jimin and Jungkook. They were filming something similar, some weekend getaway, but I forgot about it, I don't know if it aired and where. I would also watch Jimin with that group as well. Truthfully, I would watch Jimin in anything, especially if I would get the chance to see him with other friends, in a different environment and vibe, see another side of him.

Do you think taemin and jimin are still friends? I saw someone say that they aren't close anymore and it made me curious because i don't remember seeing anything that implies that and jimin is still friends with ha sungwoon

i said this somewhere before (but ages ago so!) i think they are still colleagues on friendly terms though i don't know how close they are as friends today, as both of them have been very busy in different ways and that obviously always means you lose touch with people. but many times people in the same circles (in this case the idol / entertainment industry) know each other and know of each other and are friendly / polite a lot and usually just pick up where they left off even if it's years later. i can imagine they could be like that 🥰

“reliable, strong, positive, happy” are usually the answers that you heard 

but deep down in your heart, you know you’re nowhere near how your friends describe you 

in fact, you are the complete opposite

yes, in the past, you’re like what your friends describe 

you’re someone that does everything well 

when it comes to grades, you’re always at the top of the list 

even when it comes to school activities, you’re one of the black horses too 

at some point in time, you even got friends who get envious of you for being able to achieve so much in life 

even your parents

they expected so much from you 

just when everything seems to be happening the way you want life to be

just when you thought things are going well 

after working so hard and putting every blood and sweat into anything you do 

you thought you could finally breathe and say, “i’m doing good” 

but life doesn’t simply let you go like this 

just within a few months, your life changed and crumbled down 

for some reason, you started becoming more careless in your exams 

you could gradually see your rank drop in each term 

even when it comes to school activities, you gave your best but it is still isn’t the best

since you’re class president, you are expected to take care of everyone else well

when you turn to your parents, you know that isn’t a wise choice either

they noticed that your studies and school activities have gotten worse

it feels as though someone is rubbing salt onto your wounds 

“what about me?” you wondered 

as time pass, you started feeling smaller and less significant 

the pile of worries and problems continue to form in your heart 

that burden on your shoulders gradually got heavier 

while people’s expectations of you continued to rise 

and no matter how many nights you cried your eyes out, you know you still have to do this 

you know you still have to be the person that everyone knows, and not the real you 

with that, you carried on going to school as usual

continued carrying all those responsibilities on your shoulder as usual 

you thought you will never be able to see the light in your life ever again

until you met sungwoon 

sungwoon is one of your classmates 

and also the vice president of the class too 

since you guys work together most of the time, 

the both of you have a very close relationship together 

he is always around helping you with class activities 

even when you guys ended class late, sungwoon would offer you dinner 

and sometimes, to even send you home 

since it’s been such a long time that someone actually cared for you

you couldn’t suppress that fluttering feeling in your heart 

there is no one except sungwoon that would care about your feelings

even during those times where he walked you home, there are countless of things that you guys would talk about 

you enjoy his company

whenever sungwoon is around, you feel comfortable 

just within a few months, you feel like you’re about burst into space when sungwoon told you his real feelings for you

you could still remember the exact words that he said 

“i like you, y/n. can we get together?” sungwoon confessed 

you didn’t bother trying to hide that smile on your face

instead, you hug sungwoon in response 

just like that, you thought you finally could feel happy once again 

but with the reality hitting you, you got troubled all over again 

since midterm is coming soon, everyone started studying hard for their exams

your stress level rise once again, knowing that so many papers are coming up

and now that your grades have dropped, you know you have to study real hard 

besides that, you got reminded of all the expectations that your teachers, your parents have been giving 

instead of heading for dates, sungwoon and you would hang out at the library to study instead 

without wasting time, you buried yourself in your books and notes

on the first day, you got pretty lost

everything just feels so overwhelming

you studied a few chapters of chemistry here and there

you tried memorizing all those equations but only a few managed to get into your mind 

“i got a week to do this so it’s okay” you sighed for the thousandth time

but you are not too sure if you’re doing fine

sungwoon seemed to be studying well 

“i felt productive today, i studied almost 5 chapters today” sungwoon said as he stretches

to be honest, chemistry isn’t your best subject 

and because you’re weak in it, that made you worry more than usual 

you thought of asking sungwoon for help 

but you thought you would be slowing him down 

and drag him with you 

whenever you’re on your way home with him, you always contemplating to ask for help or not 

“to ask or not” you hesitated 

before you could make up your mind, another day is gone

and you’re just another day closer to your exam 

“maybe i should just try studying harder” you shut your eyes at the thought of your chemistry paper

strangely, those thoughts kept you up the whole night 

and even after all those tossing and turning, you’re still not getting sleepy 

you decided to get up and start studying at that ungodly hour even though you still got class the next morning

when you reached class, that’s when the sleepiness kicks in 

you know you got to listen in class but your eyes are not cooperating 

"don’t sleep in my class, y/n” you got embarrassed when your teacher called you out 

“is there anything happening? you seemed like you didn’t get any sleep” sungwoon approached you 

“nah, i’m fine, don’t worry” you gave a faint smile 

shortly after, it is break time and that is the period that you look forward to every day 

but probably because of all the stress, you didn’t want to move and have any food

“are you sure you don’t want to eat? what about drinks?” sungwoon offered

you shake your head and decided to look at your notes again 

“i have to study no matter what” you sighed 

and right after lessons, you continued studying with sungwoon 

after so many hours, you started getting frustrated at yourself for not being able to understand anything quickly 

even when you head home with sungwoon, you carried on looking at your notes

you thought by doing this, you would eventually understand everything 

but days have passed 

and you only managed to get a few lessons into your head 

what’s worse is that

your insomnia at night has gotten a lot worse

during your meals, you didn’t want to have anything 

you didn’t give yourself any breaks as well 

you just wanted to push yourself to the limit 

until a day where sungwoon stopped you 

“y/n, talk to me” he stood in front of you

you ignored sungwoon and continued walking past him 

“y/n, i know there is something going on, please tell me” 

“i’m really worried seeing you like this” this time round, sungwoon hold onto your shoulder and look into your eyes 

for some reason, you could feel tears forming in your eyes after hearing sungwoon

you looked away, blinking quickly, hoping that your tears would dry up 

“n-no, i’m fine, sungwoon” you remove his hands away 

“i have eyes, y/n. i know there’s something bothering you” 

“i’m your boyfriend, y/n. you can tell me anything that is bothering you” 

that is all to make you go soft

you lost it

all those tears that are threatening to fall, starting to pour out 

you crashed into sungwoon’s arms and cried 

“just let it all out, y/n” sungwoon said as you could feel his hand going up and down your back 

you have no idea how heavy your heart feels right now 

you know sungwoon’s shirt is probably wet right now 

but he still patiently waited for you to be okay

sungwoon brought you to a quiet place to calm you down

and he would even initiate hugs in between, knowing that you’re not okay

“i got so worried seeing you in this state, not eating well, not sleeping well and you’re constantly studying” 

“and i feel so terrible because i don’t know what’s happening and i couldn’t make you feel better” sungwoon apologized

“you know i’m always here, y/n”

hearing his words made you happy and sad at the same time

sad because you’re dragging sungwoon into your problems 

while happy because it’s been such a long time 

a long time where you had someone beside you, actually hearing everything you had to say 

“to be honest, everything is wrong. nothing has been going well and no matter how hard i tried, things are only getting worse” you sighed at the thought of everything that you been through

it is so draining 

and all it takes for you to cry again is sungwoon’s hug

from the day that you started dating him, you know he is the one

you know he is someone that you could lean on 

but because everyone else seemed so far away, you have forgotten the feeling of love

or to be exact, the feeling of being loved

looking at sungwoon now made you wonder what did you do to deserve him 

all you did in your life is mistakes and you could meet such a great man here 

“even when everyone else has turned their back against you, i will still be here for you, y/n. regardless, i promise” 

“i don’t care if it is 6 am in the morning, i will listen to each and every one of your problem, y/n.”

“since i’m your boyfriend, i promise to take care and be here with you” sungwoon assured you as he intertwined his fingers with yours

You had stood outside of his dorm waiting for him. You knew this was the time to tell him how you felt. He kept telling you about a girl he liked and you wanted to tell him about your feelings before it was to late. He walked out and smiled instantly after seeing you “Y/N! Hey, What’s up?”

“Jisung... I have to tell you something.” His face went serious as he stood waiting “I’m in love with you.” His eyes widened as tears slowly started falling down his face,

“You feel the same way Y/N?” He wiped his face and pulled you in and kissed you “I love you too..”

Ha Sungwoon

You and Sungwoon hung out with you and you ‘best friend’. The whole time you were out your friend flirted with him the whole time. You were so upset because she knew you liked him. She told you she was going to ask him out. You stood watching them until these words flew out of your mouth so fast before Sungwoon could answer your friend “I like you Sungwoon!” Your friend rolled her eyes as she stood beside him. He turned and looked at you as he smiled,

“You do?” You nodded as he walked to you “I like you too Y/N.” He kissed you slowly then pulled you in and hugged you.

Hwang Minhyun

Minhyun stood beside you as you both waited for fireworks. He smiled and looked up being to scared to look down at you. You look at his hand and take a deep breath. You grab his hand and hold it in yours “Minhyun... Can we stay like this forever?” His face turned red as he looked down at you, He wasn’t really good at this but he knew how you felt. He let go of you hand and cupped your cheeks “I would love that.” He slowly leaned down and your lips met as the fireworks went off.

Ong Seongwoo

You looked at Seongwoo as you took a deep breath. You could feel the tension between you two. You clear your throat and nod “Okay, Seongwoo I lo-.” Before you could finish his lips were pressed against yours. You melt into the kiss,

“I feel the same Y/N.”

Kim Jaehwan

You saw Jaehwan walking down the street. Your heart dropped as you knew it was time. Your best friend pushed you “Go Y/N! Go get him!” You nod smiling as you run after him. You grab his arm and look up at him “Jaehwan... I’ve been wanting to tell you this for a long time now.” He looked down at you,

“Oh, Hey Y/N, What did you wanna tell me?” You close you eyes and clear your throat “I like you Jaehwan... I always have.” He just looked at you then instantly grabbed your face and pulled you in pressing his lips against yours.

Kang Daniel 

You stood in front of Daniel as you looked up “Daniel look I.” Before you finished it started raining like crazy. He sighed,

“Ah man! Not rain, Let me take you home Y/N.” You sigh and shake your head “Not yet Daniel...” He looked down at you with a confused look as you both were getting soaked by the rain “Daniel, I am so in love with you...” His eyes widened as he heard you confess to him. His cheeks slowly turned pink “Y.N...” He held you hands and smiled “I love you too... I have.” You smiled and kissed him.

Park Jihoon

You and Jihoon sat in silence waiting for the power to turn back on. You sigh and knew you needed to tell him how you felt “Jihoon...” He looked over at you in the dark room, 

“Huh?” You gulped then looked at him “I have feelings for you... As more than a friend.” As you said the light turned on. You face turned red as you looked at him waiting for him to answer. Jihoon looked down and thought for a moment then looked back up at you “I do too...”

Park Woojin

You stood beside Woojin in front of his members. He made a joke as everyone laughed “Gosh Woojin I love you.” His eyes moved down to you with a shocked expression. You covered you mouth “Oh my... I.” His members looked at you then him them left you two alone. He laughed and covered his face,

“You mean it Y/N?” You hide your face and nod “You should have told me sooner!” He moved your hands and pressed his lips against you with a smile.

Bae Jinyoung

You looked up at Jinyoung as he dropped you off from  the movie theater “Jinyoung...” He looked down at you with a bright smile,

“Yes Y/N?” You grab his hands and close your eyes ,

“ I love you.” His cheeks turned pink as he looked at you 

“I...Y/N.” He stopped talking and pressed his lips against yours.

Lee Daehwi

You and Daehwi had a picnic on your day off. He laughed as he took a sip of water, You looked at him and smiled at how amazing he looked “Daehwi, I love you.” You said with a serious tone making sure he knew you weren’t joking around. He looked over at you as he heard those words come out of your mouth. Daehwi smiled and just stared at you “I love you too Y/N...”

Lai Guanlin

You handed Guanlin his lunch then you quickly ran away from him. He looked at you confused and opened his lunch box and looked at the note ‘As you know I’m a shy girl, But I love you Guanlin.’ His eyes widened reading this then quickly ran after you. He grabbed your arm and turned you over not letting you speak but pressing his lips against yours and holding you close.
