2am art dump but I redrew an old oc I made when I was 17 (coincidentally I made her around my birthday). She was a rwby oc back when I used to be in the rwby oc community; she was how I got into the rp scene on here too.

Chris Jean was my previous main blorbo before Phoebe haha, and arguably CJ had the coral pink-teal ish colour combo first (before Phoebe). Although CJ's initial design was just grey, white, and teal. I combined the first design with a 2018 redesign to make this version of her. Just for fun :)

Hiii everyone, say, how do your Hawkes go go about sharing their estate? If they do it at all? Is everyone free to come and go or are they more private? Or do they only invite their LI to stay? I'm curious!! :)

#lay rambles #my ocs #oc: liam hawke #oc: lilian hawke #both my hawkes are very social w their friends but i love comparing their boundaries around it #theres variation in rules for specific ppl with both of them ofc but theres still general differences #with liam its all very open and everyone can p much come and go whenever #they dont get extra keys (theyll get lost and he doesnt want randos finding them lol) but they know where to find the spare key #and bodhan and sandal and orana know to let them in whenever #hes very lenient in this this regard but he does have rules abt what he does and doesnt want them to do #mostly its about not making too much of a mess lol bc liam prefers to clean himself #(he doesnt trust the crew with his household and also he has particular ways of doing things and Hates when theyre done differently)#so things like keep your dirty garb at the entrance dont cook by yourselves (this was banned after they did it one (1) time lol) etc #also no fucking allowed. do that somewhere else for the love of the maker he does NOT want to walk into that in his own house #(and it also comes back to liam not trusting them with cleaning but also Not wanting to clean that up lol)#also he is not fond of them going into his room uninvited. most of the house is chill but that is *his* space #he accommodates these rules by e.g. having spare slippers and a little washing basin in the entrance hall for dirty shoes/feet #always makes sure to have snacks in stock that he knows they like #food will have notes abt what to leave for leandra/orana/etc but otherwise food is prepared with his friends in mind #and in general he'll make sure to adjust the space/routine in little ways to accommodate them #(air out when fen isnt there cus he doesnt like drafts; keep curtains open cus anders prefers open spaces; etc)#lilian on the other hand doesnt like when her friends come into the estate without a heads up (cept for emergencies)#but once they have her 'ok' its basically mi casa es su casa #dont yknow. overdo it and get too rowdy but otherwise do whatever #however. she also expects everyone to clean up after themselves. she aint here to play maid and youre all adults #also liam has a general 'please try to not be too wild when leandra is here' and lilian doesnt #not cos she doesnt care but cos leandra is bothered by sth she can speak up herself #oh and lilian uses the basement space as temporary refuge for anyone who needs it (mostly escaped mages)#also side note: both offered gamlen to stay but he refused (out of pride/remorse)#...this got long and i ran out of tag space lmfao so this is it for now xD

I tapped my fingers against the desk, annoyed and darting my eyes around the room impatiently for any sign of a sentient being entering the room, or even the sound of a squeak. It wouldn’t been dead silent without the eerie ambience, which I would have much preferred instead of this sense of dread in the air. Furrowing my eyebrows, I tapped my foot against the cement and glanced towards the door; letting my thoughts wander freely and considering…everything that’s happened in the past 48 hours or less.

I was annoyed, acting inconvenienced. Maybe it was because I had expected Es to be late due to the fact everyone complained they were late, and I already set my expectations lower than usual for someone like them.

Or.

Maybe because they were taking the most time to get here out of every single interrogation.

I was honestly starting to think it was intentional—they knew about my distrust and suspicion—and therefore they were trying to both piss me off and avoid me at the same time, which made me even more pissed.

Because, even though they looked like my younger cousin in both height and babyface, they had the attitude of a complete brat. It was getting ridiculous, as I’ve heard from several others (and….eavesdropping occasionally) they have found it in themself to be short-tempered and aggravate everyone within a 24 mile radius. It’s almost a talent of how they’ve pissed one of us off at least twice.

Of course, this was just my observation. An assumption, if you will. Because of their rather vague and often contradictory statements, I’ve taken to calling them “pheme”, much to their disliking. Did they know what it meant?…probably not. But that wasn’t the point.

Ah, I forgot!!!!

Jere's a drawing I made recently of the Bloodmoon twins (but actually kinda my own version strongly based on SAMS), & my own twist on Ruin Eclipse's design in SAMS!!! (also yes I did mean here's but jere's was funnier I had to keep it)

The one higher up is Harvest (I know everyone calls one of the twins Harvest but it works & its cute lemme have it), name based on a Harvest Moon, and the one lower down is Blood Flower, name based on a Super Flower Blood Moon

I haven't drawn their fused form yet, but trust me it looks really cool in my head (not really)

And of course here's Ruin Eclipse!!! I will be calling em Puzzle from now on to end confusion between Ruin Eclipse canon & Ruin Eclipse SAMS

I love Puzzle's new design but I really wanted to add my twist to it cus... (no offense to Damien-Candle I love their design it's so cool and adorable & huggable) ...Ruin kinda pale imo

But I kinda made this design for Puzzle by fusing my design for Jigsaw (the evil Ruin Eclipse) with Damien's ref sheet for Ruin Eclipse and with this specific thumbnail

(it's not the best screenshot but when I first saw it I had to zoom in, take a screenshot, and zoom in more, cus from a distance it looked like Ruin had rabbit ears. That's also why I gave Ruin more of the jester-like hat rather than a nightcap so that it referenced me thinking those were rabbit ears) (Again this art isn't bad it's really cool!!!)

Theoretically here, tho I'm gonna be honest. Coroika... sucks.

Like. I love the characters! But the source material is....... well. Uh. Bad. Like.... "Not a single character has more than 3 personality traits" kinda bad. Like... "the main character wins every arc by pulling down the pants of his enemies" (EVERY ARC) kinda bad. There's not a single serious moment in this entire thing, which is fine, if you're not dealing with... ykno... OCTO EXPANSION and the END OF THE WORLD at some points. Imo.

Which... I mean! If you like that kinda stuff it's fine, buuuut most other coro fans I know essentially all agree "coroika bad, the characters are mine now".

Because honestly? To me, coroika feels like an oc shop at this point. There's nothing you can do with the characters that ISNT ooc cus they don't really have anything more than a dehydrated shell of a personality to begin with.

TLDR. I enjoy coroika characters and all the friends ive made through it but I feel like I should give warning that the source is nothing like how I portray the characters even a little bit cus the actual manga is purely butt jokes. Also there's a mega transphobic moment btw
