Okay so as I’m rereading TQON I got to the part where Jude wakes up from a couple days of healing and The Bomb is gonna take out her stitches. We all know the line Cardan says when she tells him to leave ‘this is my room and that’s my wife’ iconic of course. But I also really love The Bomb’s response ‘so you keep telling everyone’ because they can’t lie. So I’m just imagining him running around telling everyone.

you might not agree with me, but i think that modern!jude duarte would be a writer. a lot of children were obsessed with mythology in middle school but jude would be interested in it even at high school and eventually she decides to travel and educate herself. she wants to write books, learn languages and about another cultures.

also, some would say “no she’d probably study political science or law” but no. it’s just that i think that elfhame is absolutely another world with other creatures and jude was interested in their customs and traditions, she had never seen this before and everything was new for her. in addition, she was oppressed for being human and jude wanted revenge.

and in the mortal world she is a curious, multi-talented traveler and writer.
