I got done watching a random transformers prime episode and here are my thoughts in no order

-Optimus feel like a typical wise leader and I definitely 100 percent prefer his transformers animated personality better. Everytime he talk I feel my insider TFA Sentinel prime rolling his optics the whole time.

-i didn't expect the frist thing to appear in this episode to be a monkey

- Bulkhead sound like kilowog from Green Lantern the animated series.

-speaking of Bulkhead, I'm Not sure what happened to him in the last episode but the poor dude was low-key suffering the whole time.

- Wheeljack appenly went rouge and I found that very funny for some reason since I just imagine him yelling "screw you guys I'm out" before leaving

- Starscream feel like and sounds like a looney tunes villain and I'm all here for that

-When Starscream yelled "WHERE IT IS" I actually laughed.

- apparently the Elite Gaurd exist in the transformer prime universe

- energon appenly come in different colors and Red Energon is the most rare type.

-i love Smokescreen. He have a lot of jock energy to him.

- and finally smokescreen :)

Something about unicron being responsible for creating humans and earth is just so fun

I just think that Menel also being a transmigrator would add a lot of depth to things. Him and Will having similar backgrounds in their first lives, and Will having things change completely for him when he reincarnates into a loving family, while Menel reincarnates into more solitude and loneliness, initially reinforcing his views on life.

I want to talk about how insane of a fighter TFP Ratchet is.

You know that one episode where he invented the synthetic energon? And it made him stronger, but also angrier and crazier?

I guess a chemical can do that to a mech, okay. But you know what NO chemical can do?

Teach someone fight choreography like this

Some strange energon wouldn't magically made him know how to do flips. He had to know all these moves beforehand.

And honestly

Look at him. He is fucKING FERal???

This grandpa got an energy boost and proceeded to perform acrobatic breakdancing on the actual battlefield. Do you realize how crazy he was when he was younger?

Transformers: Prime Decepticons - Hands

So, I was looking at hands, as one does when they’re bored, and I noticed a few things:

Every single ‘Con has claws, except Soundwave and Breakdown.

Megatron, Starscream, Shockwave, Dreadwing, Skyquake, Knockout, and Airachnid have 5 fingers.

Soundwave, Breakdown, Insecticons, Predaking, Darksteel, and Skylynx have 4 fingers.

Vehicons only have 3 fingers.

Predacon claws are flawless in form and aesthetic.

While I know Soundwave has spindly fingers for practical reasons, it’s the perfect symbolic representation of how he declawed himself for the sake of the Cause, giving up much of his power to follow Megatron.

Kudos to the character designers for crafting each Decepticon’s hands to match their function:

Megatron, Dreadwing, Skyquake: Sharp and wide for various combat situations

Soundwave: Thin and straight for work with computers and tech

Starscream: Light and “bony,” perfect for a flight frame

Shockwave, Knockout, and Airachnid: Sharp and delicate for scientific and/or medical work

Breakdown: Wide and blunt for brute force attacks

Vehicons: Useless

Insecticons: Wide and curved for digging and slashing

Predacons: Sharp with additional armor plating for evisceration (help I love this word so much)

The Autobots could only dream of having hands this masterfully crafted ✨

I've been seeing so many works about Optimuses gathered together across the universe, and yeah, there's the general consensus that the Optimi would side-eye Bayverse and his (violent) downward spiral, but c'mon!

Where's the side-eye towards TFP? I don't mean with the bromance between him and Megatron, I'm talking about TFP being his unintentional feral, awkward self.

Unlike his other counterparts, TFP had come from the boonies of nowhere and straight-up wilds, and then got his education from a recluse that's in so many political pies and skills from a multitude of people from a variety of backgrounds.

Like there are Things that TFP's friends, coworkers, close advisors, and teammates just... accept because it's Orion Pax/Optimus Prime.

He may have assumed responsibility over his collection of teens, but he isn't really close to them, so they don't see the shit that the others do. Even Smokescreen has moments where his thoughts are like, "Is this a Prime-thing? It must be a Prime-thing!"

Like give me the Optimus that will literally go into an in-depth discussion on the unique culture of each city-state can be stemmed by the Primes they either patroned or championed, but will straight up eat raw Energon crystal because there's a line at the convertor. 10/10 would lick a cave wall to determine its composition. (In fact, this is how Megatronus met Orion. This guy straight up took a bite of someone's art project/stupid dare because he couldn't understand egging pranksters and didn't drop from the inedibles of dark arts.) He likes long drives (makes sense, he's a convoy), free style rock-climbing off of cliffs (what), and can parkour off a ridiculous building (WHAT)

He's the equivalent of the human would eat the plastic imitation fruit and either politely say it's not his thing or finish it off if it was scented. The buff nerd that's weirdly quiet and would have the knowledge to homebrew pyrotechnics and utilize them if necessary. You would never expect this guy to be outdoorsy, he is. Very. Can tell people which wild plants or animals will cause vivid hallucinations or sleep paralysis in an offhand manner. Do not get this guy shit-faced: everything will become surreal.
