#the Darach in the final bits of the season

Blue Moon - Part 7
A/N: See masterlist for prompts used. (And the list of amazing people who have helped me with this.) There is some show related violence referenced in this one, so, like always, check the masterlist if you need a heads up about the warnings. But this one is mostly just fluff and some angst. Though, arguably, like the season, this one may be a bit heavier. (And thank you to the amazing @trexrambling for coming up with the lines in bold during one of our chats just for fun, that was too perfect to not include.)
I do not own Teen Wolf or it’s characters. Sadly.

“What do you mean there isn’t a body?” you asked Stiles over the phone, walking back to your house with Derek. You had expected it to be like twisting his arm to talk him into coming back with you, but he surprisingly agreed almost immediately.
“I don’t know, they just called us to come up to the school. Apparently she went into another fugue state or something….” You heard the gears shift, the engine of the jeep coming to a stop over the line. “Look, we’re here. Just, keep your eyes open, please.”
“Will do.” You cleared your throat. “Please keep me updated.” You stared straight ahead as you ended the phone call.
“You didn’t tell him about finding me,” Derek mused from your side.
“They have enough going on right now. Plus, you didn’t say you were ready to be ‘found’ yet, so I omitted certain truths.”
Staring at the ground as you both continued in silence, you made it to your front porch before you realized you didn’t have your keys. Reaching under the front mat, Derek produced the spare key. “It didn’t take much searching,” he answered your raised eyebrow of question.
Once inside, Derek let out a heavy sigh. “Look, I’ll admit, something has felt off about Jennifer from the beginning. I didn’t want to admit it, but you’re right.”
“You didn’t want to admit something felt weird, or that I was right?” You smiled at him, taking the groan he gave as the answer. “We’ll finish this conversation in a minute. First we need to change clothes. We are both covered in…. woods.” Derek snorted a laugh, nodding in agreement.
As you started up the stairs to your room, you looked over your shoulder in question as he fell in step behind you. “Okay. What’s up, Derek?”
“My bag is in your room. I’ve…. been sleeping on the floor.”
“I thought you only came by here twice?” You opened the door to your room, seeing his duffel bag sitting on your bed with clothes pouring out the sides of it and onto your comforter.
“Yeah, that was a lie. It’s the only place I could think of where no one would bother me.” He grabbed a change of clothes before walking back out of the room, stopping at the door with his back to you. “Plus, I’m used to you being at the loft. Having your scent around was calming, and helped me think straight.” With that he left the room, softly shutting the door.
Looking to the makeshift bed he had on the floor, you noticed various things with your scent laying close by, and you smiled. Examining the room further, you realized the majority of your clothes were at the loft or at Stiles’, which left you with only one other option.
“Are those...are those my sweatpants?”
Looking down at the base of the stairs as you slowly made your way down, you saw Derek, wide eyed, and was that the beginning of a blush on his cheeks?
You shrugged. “You said I could borrow your clothes.”
Reaching inside the shirt that was massive on you, you cinched the drawstring on the pants even tighter, contemplating making it into a belt instead.
Making it to the final step, you hopped off of it to the main floor, looking Derek straight on.
Derek looked down at your feet. “Exactly how many times did you-”
“Seven. These have been rolled up seven times. I almost died going down the stairs.”
The grin working it’s way up his face was very contagious, and you found it spreading to your face as well. “All my stuff is at the loft or the Stilinski’s, so, I figured I’d take you up on your offer.”
“Well, it’s a look I could get used to,” Derek said easily, before stuttering, “um, I mean, yeah. Yeah. Whatever you need. It looks good on you.”
You plopped into a chair in the living room, him gently sitting in the one opposite you. “So, Jennifer. You think something isn’t right?”
Derek, still smiling, shook his head gently at you and sighed. “Yes.”
“What is making you say that now?”
“You.” Tilting your head at him questioningly, he grinned again, looking down at the floor. “What you said today. It’s instinct.” He looked up, meeting your eyes on the last word, and you both held the other’s gaze for a few moments in the comfortable silence.
“So let’s test your theory,” you mused. “Show up at school tomorrow, I’ll stay close by and see if anything seems overtly out of place-”
“You have classes-”
“Derek. I finally found you again. I’m not letting you out of my sight for the foreseeable future.”
He relented, leaning back in the chair.
“Text her and tell her you want to meet up before lunch. Meet her in the alcove by the fields, none of the pack will see you there, and then you are welcome to come back here.” You hesitated. “Not with her, though. That goes without saying. But I felt it needed saying. Just to be clear. Moving on.” He smirked as you continued. “While you talk to her, I’ll stay right behind the wall and listen to her heartbeat and see if I pick up on anything. You pay attention to the physical cues.”
“With her scent being so…. off, what do you think she is?” Derek said on a huff of air.
“Do you think she’s the Darach?”
His eyes widened and he looked away for a second before looking back to you, resigned. “As of today, it’s crossed my mind.”
“Why today?”
“I don’t know. I think it’s just the first time I was able to think clearly in a long time. Since she came around, really.”
You gestured to the room around you. “Well, my life is a Jennifer free zone, so feel free to use it to your advantage.” Smiling, you held his gaze once again, both of your grins lazy and comfortable.
This time, you sighed. “I’m sorry, Derek. I really didn’t want to be right about this-”
“Yes you did.” He raised his eyebrows at you challengingly. “I’m not blind, Y/N.”
“Well, that may be, but I never wished you would find the devil and start dating her.” He glared at you. “You know, you seem to have a pattern.” He rolled his eyes. “Wasn’t Kate, like, psychotic?”
“That was a low blow.” You smirked at him, but it slipped when he smirked right back. “And what does that say about you?”
You choked on your own spit. “Excuse me?”
“You heard what I said.” He tilted his head back onto the chair, closing his eyes and grinning triumphantly, hands knit together and resting on his chest.
You launched a pillow at him, letting out a cry of triumph when it hit him square in the face, startling him. His head snapped back up. “No need to be freaking rude.”
Derek curled up with the pillow, a smug look on his face. “Derek? Can I have that pillow back? This chair is lumpy.” Your voice was small.
“You should have thought of that before hurling it at me.” He got up and plopped down on the couch, letting out a sigh of content as he stretched, still holding the pillow close, smug grin still all over his face.
Getting up, you went over to him, reaching for the pillow, but he turned away, tucking it under him, clutched tight in his grip. You paced back and forth a few times, hands on your hips, before you turned to go back and try again, tripping on one of the legs of his pants that had started to come unfolded in all the movement, and launching at him with unexpected force.
He let out an oof as you landed on his chest, his head snapping your way to try and guess your next move.
“Well. This is unexpected,” you said tightly. You looked at as much of him as you could see, propped on your elbows awkwardly on his shoulder as he lay slightly sideways away from you. “You’re squishy enough, I’ll just use you as my pillow.”
Laying your head down on his shoulder, you could have sworn you heard his heart rate pick up, making you smirk. Suddenly you were laying with your head on the pillow as it rested on his chest, the rest of you flush with his body, one of your legs slotting between his and the other between his leg and the couch.
Sighing with contentment into the pillow, you had just gotten comfortable when the pillow disappeared, your head falling down to his chest with a thump, ear over his racing heart. Looking up at him through your lashes, you saw him tucking the pillow under his head, and his eyes closed. He grabbed the blanket off the back of the couch, covering you both and taking a sniff of the top of your head in what he probably thought was a subtle way as he did.
“I think you have a type, alright,” you mused quietly. “Dangerous - snore and all bets are off.”
“Same goes for you - drool and I find a way to give you fresh hell when we go back to training regularly.”
“I don’t drool!” You pulled slightly away from him.
“I don’t snore.” He settled further into the couch, one arm wrapping around your waist.
After a brief stare off, you mumbled, “Fine. Truce?”
“Truce.” He smiled.
“You’re unbelievable,” you grumbled into his chest.
“Thank you. I try.”
You could hear the smile in his tone, and it was the last thing you registered before drifting off to sleep.

You were reliving it again. The fight with Kali. Just before the dream turned in a bad way, your phone ringing and vibrating across the coffee table beside you woke you up with a start. Glancing down at Derek who looked sleepily up at you, you mouthed a sorry before answering the phone. “Hello?”
“Where the hell are you, Y/N?” Stiles’ angry voice made you pull the receiver away from your ear, your face scrunched up in pain. Putting it on speaker and placing it back on the coffee table, you sighed, holding your head in your hands, elbows braced on Derek’s chest.
“Stiles, I’m so sorry, I-”
“I almost had my dad start a search for you!”
Derek nudged you, making you look down at him, ignoring Stiles’ incessant repeating of your name. He gestured to the phone, whispering, “It’s okay. Tell them you found me.”
“Are you sure?” you whispered, and he nodded.
Laying your hands on Derek’s chest, his arm still firmly around your waist, you placed your cheek on the back of your hands and looked at the phone as you spoke. “Are you alone, Stiles?”
The line was silent as his constant speech stopped. “Why?”
“I just want to talk to you without supernatural ears around, that’s all. It’s need to know at the moment.”
You heard Stiles fumbling around, closing doors and running faucets on his way from his room down to his kitchen - you knew by the floor board squeaks, he could never avoid them - and looked to Derek when his arm tightened around your waist.
“They can all know,” he said softly.
“I’m going with my gut, Derek. The less people know, the better. Jennifer will feel more special, and probably open up more. Plus, Scott’s got his own problems right now.” It sounded like Stiles was finally reaching the kitchen when you added softly to Derek, “Plus, I know you like to make an entrance.”
You both smirked and Stiles came back on the line. “I’m home alone with my dad, but I turned on every faucet between my room and the kitchen in case we have any lurkers outside.”
“Why is every faucet on?” You heard the Sheriff in the background, walking from room to room, and you smiled. He could be such a light sleeper.
“Talk fast,” Stiles rushed into the phone.
“I found Derek. We found the Nemeton but lost it again. We’re back at my place so no one will look for him. We have a plan, and we’re gonna try something tomorrow at school, I’ll give you details after. Nothing dangerous-” you looked up at Derek- “at least, I don’t think.” You looked back to the phone. “Just me and him, for some info gathering, then probably back here, and we’ll go from there.”
“And the others couldn’t know about this why?” Stiles hissed into the phone, his father’s footsteps getting closer.
“Because, everyone is working on their own thing right now, and we can regroup after. I think we finally have all the puzzle pieces we need to get a picture.”
“Fine,” he huffed.
“For the record, that’s my idea to bring him to school for info, and my idea to only tell you. He said others could know. I just thought it best that less know for now.”
“That actually makes sense. I agree. Okay, fill me in as soon as you know more, please. But I don’t know how long him being gone will be helpful.”
“You got it.”
“Wait…. You found the Nemeton?”
“Go to sleep, Stiles. I’ll fill you in later.”
“They found a what?” The Sheriff said in the background, voice heavy with sleep.
“Uhhhhhh….” Stiles failed to answer.
“Just say shenanigans, Stiles.”
“I don’t even wanna know,” the Sheriff said, yawning, his footsteps retreating.
“Smooth, Stiles. Smooth.”
“Oh, just go back to sleep, Y/N.”
“Will do. Sorry I didn’t let you know I wouldn’t be back tonight.”
He sighed. “It’s okay. I was just worried, but it’s okay now that I know. Sleep well.”
“You, too.”
The call ended and your phone locked on its own, the room going dark once more, Derek startling you when you looked at him only to see bright red eyes staring back at you.
“You know very well you could see without those,” you mumbled, tucking your face back into his chest, digging your chin in a little more forcefully than necessary as you stared at him.
He grinned, no sign of them going anywhere as he blinked a few times. “Now, where’s the fun in that?”
Xxx
It was like something out of a movie.
Jennifer saw him standing in the tunnel, hesitating only a second before she realized it was him. She smiled and ran up to him, embracing him as she leapt into his arms, tucking her face into his neck, his face buried in her hair.
You watched until they kissed, and you had to look away before you made any gagging noises. You blamed Stiles for some of these reactions, you really did.
Derek kept his answers to a minimum, asking her to come with him for the day, and you felt your stomach drop. You knew it was an act, but the thought was just unsettling.
They kissed one more time, and you had to physically step back a few paces so you couldn’t peek around the corner and see them anymore. You were supposed to be listening to her heartbeat, but yours was so loud in your ears it was hard to focus. As far as you could make out, her heart was steady the whole time, not a single tick. And that’s what was the most concerning.
Between the kisses and shared words, hell, even the sight of each other, she should have had some sort of uptick or something.
You wouldn’t admit it to him, but you had eavesdropped on his heartbeat, too, and noticed his little upticks here and there.
You wanted to be wrong, just for his sake, but it looked more and more like she was up to something.
Looking one last time, you saw her turning away, their hands lingering on one another’s before falling away at the last possible second. She walked away confidently, tucking some of her hair behind her ear almost shyly as the wind swept errant leaves and her long loose tresses around her.
He turned and looked at you once she was out of sight, holding your gaze for only a moment before hanging his head and shaking it gently.
Walking up to him, your hands itched to reach out and comfort somehow, but felt it better to give him space, so you settled for touching the tips of your shoes to his, putting them in his line of sight. The smallest of smiles turned up his face when he noticed.
“I really hope you were listening to her heart rate, because all I could hear was yours.”
You felt your eyes go wide at the admission, the act of breathing something foreign. “Um, yes. Yes, I…” You looked up then down, then to the side before looking back at him, his head still hung, and you swallowed to try and get rid of any emotions in order to simply speak. “It didn’t change the whole time. Which I don’t have to tell you is an even bigger tell.” You gently shifted your weight from foot to foot. “You, on the other hand,” you spoke softly, “you had some major tells, and, I’m sorry. I’m sorry you keep getting dealt the shitty hand, and have to-”
You were cut off by his hands gently grabbing your face, tilting it back until your noses were touching like yesterday, and you could just feel the ghost of his lips over yours. Resting his forehead against yours, he let out a sigh that sounded both content and yet frustrated. You opened your eyes just in time to see his flick up to look at yours before a voice to the side jarred you from the moment.
“Hey, hooligans! Get back to class!”
You let out a decidedly frustrated sigh before answering, making Derek smile. “Yes, Coach!”
Pulling away, Derek tugged you by the hand back to the car.
You heard Coach mutter something about “delinquents” and “back in my day” before he was totally out of earshot.
“I finally understand why all the guys call him Coach Cockblock now….” you mumbled, making Derek snicker.
Xxx
Back at your house that evening, Derek had been unusually quiet, but you didn’t feel the need to fill the silence in any way. You just sat near him on the couch, both of you processing what today had revealed.
When you got a call from Stiles that Cora was in the hospital, you immediately looked to Derek and knew he had heard.
“Go,” you urged him, waving the hand not holding the phone in a shooing gesture.
“But tonight-”
“Everyone will be there at the concert, safety in numbers. And right now Cora is all alone. Go take care of your sister.”
Nodding, Derek practically jumped over the back of the couch, grabbed his coat, and was out the door in seconds.
“Y/N, Cora was about to show her eyes to my dad after I explained everything to him when she passed out. He’s gonna be at the concert tonight. Think you can use the glow sticks to help me prove a point?”
“Sure, Stiles. What else is a werewolf best friend for?”
He chuckled. “Okay. Fill me in when you get here about what all was accomplished with your and Derek’s secret steakout today.”
“You make it sound like something sordid.”
“And until you tell me otherwise, these are the nightmares that play in my head.”
You laughed, grabbing your coat before stepping out the front door, locking it behind you. “Then suffer until I get there.”
Xxx
Once again, things turned super weird super fast. As soon as you got to the school, you felt a chill go down your spine, your eyes glowing of their own accord. Something was off, and you didn’t like it. Blinking away your golden eyes, you got out of the car, looking up and meeting Chris Argent’s gaze a few spaces away. He looked just as unnerved as you did, and that definitely didn’t sit well with you. Giving one another a nod in acknowledgment, he turned to follow after Allison and Isaac, and you met Stiles and Scott outside the auditorium.
Filling them in quickly, Scott was surveying the area for Lydia as you spoke. Suddenly, a scream was heard and you knew it was Lydia. You and Scott dropped to your knees with your hands over your ears, Stiles panicked and trying to help. You felt your phone buzzing in your pocket, and managed to stammer out, “My…. phone….” to a helpless looking Stiles. Immediately he fished it out and answered it, the screaming coming to an end. Scott was still on his knees and breathing deeply, and your own world was spinning as well. You removed your hands from your ears and placed your palms flat on the ground to try to find some balance again.
You heard Derek over the phone asking what’s going on when Scott abruptly took off towards the classrooms. Stiles sprinted after him, tossing you your phone, which you fumbled, before holding it to your ear and rising to your feet to take off after your friends.
“We don’t know, Derek. Lydia just screamed, Scott took off for the classrooms, Stiles is right behind him, and I’m the last one on this crazy train. There is a whole other something crazy going on inside the auditorium from what I can hear, but right now I’m focused on Lydia. The others in there can take care of that. Call Isaac to find out what’s going on.”
“Be safe,” Derek said quickly, and you nodded before rolling your eyes, remembering he can’t see you.
“Will do. Thanks. Let me know if anything changes with Cora.”
“Of course,” he said, then you both hung up.
Stuffing your phone in your pocket, you screeched to a halt when you saw only Stiles, and he looked utterly lost. “What’s wrong?”
“Scott- he- he said he heard my dad, and-” Running his hands through his hair, Stiles was turning in circles, his heart hammering away as a panic attack brewed.
“Stiles.”
“And he just took off, Y/N!” Stiles yelled, his hands starting to gesture. “I couldn’t keep up, and now my dad-”
“Stiles, calm down. Remember you asked me to use my glow sticks to help you prove a point?” You flicked on your yellow eyes with a blink. “We’ll find them.”
Simply nodding, his face screwed up in fear and dread, Stiles followed behind you as you turned toward where you heard voices.
Despite an all out sprint, neither of you made it in time to get into the classroom, Jennifer slamming the desk against the door too easily for a human and holding it there with some sort of magic. No matter how hard both of you tried, you couldn’t make the desk or the door budge. You peeked through the corner of the little window in the door while Stiles watched on, taking up most of the frame.
Scott was coughing up blood on the floor, completely wolfed out, Lydia was in a chair crying, a garrote loose around her neck, and Jennifer was approaching the Sheriff slowly, a knife sticking out of his right shoulder. After some exchanged words, he shot her in the right leg, and you smirked, only for it to fade as the wound healed in seconds. She was going on and on about the sacrifices, how they helped her acquire certain traits like healing from the bullet the Sheriff had fired, and then she kissed him.
You couldn’t hold it back this time; you made gagging noises, trying desperately to keep your focus on the scene in the room though your eyes began to tear up as you fought the urge to vomit. You stopped breathing when Jennifer morphed into what you could only assume was the Darach before pulling away from the Sheriff, screeching, and jumping out the window, shattered glass going everywhere.
Stiles finally was able to push the door open, his strength surprising you as he shoved the desk back while opening it. The Sheriff was gone, and Scott and Stiles stared out the window in silence. They shared a look briefly before Stiles’ gaze returned to the window, his face a tight line, Scott looking on with concern.
Going over to Lydia, you helped her get free of the bindings of the chair, tearing the duct tape away like it was nothing, and then the garrote, pulling her up and into a hug as soon as the offending thing had been tossed onto the desk beside you.
“I found it in time for you guys to do something about it. I didn’t find a body. If I had just been a few minutes sooner we could have-”
“Lydia.” You pulled away, gripping her hands to turn her attention from Scott to you. “You were right on time. You’re right. You didn’t find a body, and because of that we know who is doing this, and there’s still a chance that the Sheriff will be just fine. We caught her off guard, thanks to you.” You grabbed her biceps and squeezed gently. “Just, next time, maybe a little quieter? The room still is sort of spinning.”
The pack started to fill up the room, and you saw police car lights starting to reflect off the shattered glass around the space.
Going over to Stiles, you gave Scott a sad look before you both stepped up beside your friend, one on each side. You bumped Stiles’ shoulder with your own. “We’ll get him, Stiles. We’ll bring him back.” You spoke softly, leaning into his shoulder just as gently. “I know it.”
“How do you know that?”
“Because I made a promise.” He looked at you, his face void of any one emotion. “I have to help you prove a point.” You blinked your yellow eyes on for a few seconds before blinking them off. “What else is a werewolf best friend for?”
He smiled almost imperceptibly. “Okay.”
“And until we find her, or tell you otherwise, there are no nightmares that should play in your head. Please, plot away. Just know…. She will suffer when I get there.”

So I was thinking about Peter, as I often do because quarantine has given me so much time...so much, when something horribly sad occurred to me. In the season 1 flashback of Peter int he house during the fire he is an adult. He’s not young looking in the later flashbacks he’s a grown man.
What if Peter had settled down and had children, other than Malia, in that house when it burned down? I mean, he’s not that much “older” or whatever than Derek who could have been maybe like seventeen or eighteen when it happened so maybe is he did have kids then they would have been young. Terribly and tragically young. And with the fire being bad enough watching his family die and burning alive himself, what if he’d had to watch his very young child/toddler/infant succumb to the fire and thats what made him go so epically and terribly apeshit crazy? That would explain why he would mutilate his niece and not feel even a bit sorry, lie to Derek and gut him, bite Scott without a seconds thought because he needs more pack/minions to do his murderous bidding and then Kate. How he went about holding her there in front of Allison, how devastated and heartbroken he looked when he was talking to Allison and Kate, finally showing himself instead of being a snarky bastard.
It also makes sense when he learns he’s “not just an uncle.” The look on his face is also devastating. Confused but devastating which would have only made sense had he had another child or children who died and he’d previously thought he was all alone despite Cora and Derek being very much alive. And speaking of Cora, the way he treated her and how much he cared for her is really sad. She knows Peter before he was the Peter the fire made him into, the one because Laura. Maybe she might have been close to whatever child or children he had?
Really wishing that Davis didn’t go so wayside after the second season and continued, at least for a little while longer, focus on the tragedy that were the Hales, flesh out more of their story specifically Peter’s pre fire, and go into the victims of the fire. I mean, it would have worked a hell of a lot more than Darach alpha pack, fox spirit(I liked Nogi but really it was only Dylan’s acting that made Nogi good) etc.
DW: Your headcanon aligns exactly with mine when it comes to Peter. In most of my fics, Peter has lost a child and a partner in the fire.
And agreed that the show ran off the rails when it stopped focussing on the Argents and the Hales, and Scott being stuck in the middle of them.

Scott and I enter the hospital, bringing mom some dinner. As the doors open we both scan the area, looking for our mom in the crowd of people. We quickly spot her just as she starts speaking, "Oh, thank God. I'm starving."
She grabs the bag out of my hands and hurries to the reception counter to open it. Scott and I follow her and she turns around, "Sorry. Sorry."
She gives us both a kiss on the cheek then continues, "Thank you for bringing dinner."
"Of course, mom." I say, a smile on my face.
"Everything okay?" Scott asks.
"Except for half of the victims of a ten car-pile up being rerouted to us from downtown and the ER Attending not answering any of his pages? Yeah, I'm okay. Slightly, somewhat okay." Mom answers.
"What does not answering pages mean?"
"It means no one can find him. Now we're waiting for the on-call to get here." Scott and I exchange a look at our moms words just as a patient walks up, clutching her stomach.
"Miss? Excuse me? I could really use something for the pain." The woman says.
"I know and I'm sorry, but giving you something could actually complicate things. We really need to wait for the doctor." Mom turns back to the receptionist, "How far out is Dr. Hilyard?"
"Ten minutes." The receptionist replies.
I watch as the injured woman takes a seat and Scott follows her, presumably to take some of her pain. I turn my head away from the two to scan the bustling waiting room.
My attention is quickly brought to the entrance as the doors bang open. Ethan, looking rather panicked, is half carrying Danny, "I need help!"
I sprint over and grab Danny's other arms, wrapping it around my shoulders. Scott and my mom follow closely behind. Scott quickly turns to address the Alpha that brought Danny in, "What did you do to him?"
"Nothing. He said he was having chest pains and trouble breathing. But it just kept getting worse."  We guide Danny over to a seat, mom begins looking him over to see if what's wrong.
I look on in worry as Ethan asks, "What is it? Is he dying?"
Scott and I quickly snap at him, "Shut up."
"I said I didn't do anything." Ethan begins, trying to defend himself.
"All of you back off." My mom scolds, instantly shutting us up. She goes back to doing her check up, "Okay, that's not good." She then turns to ask the receptionist once more, "How much longer on Dr. Hilyard?"
The receptionist raises her hands indicating that she doesn't know. "What is it? What's wrong?" I ask.
"His larynx is shifting to the side. I think it's a tension pneumothorax." She then calls out, "Can we get a gurney over here!"
Right after the words leave her mouth Danny lurches forward. He throws up white berries as we all watch in horror. Ethan whispers out, "Mistletoe."
A nurse quickly brings a gurney over and helps my mom bring him into a room. Ethan, Scott, and I all follow them, "Can you three please get back to the waiting room?"
None of us turn to leave but we make sure my mom has enough room to work as the other nurse leaves to help more patients, "Where is everyone?" Ethan asks.
"It's a full house tonight. They're attending to other patients."
"How can we help?" Scott asks.
"You can't. His lungs collapsed."
I sucked in a breath at my mom's words, "That sounds really bad." Scott states.
"And his heart is being pushed against his chest cavity."
"That sounds much worse." Ethan says.
"Mom, please don't let him die." I say, tears in my eyes as I watch one of my best friends struggle to live.
"He's not going to." She yanks open a drawer and pulls out a needle, "Scott, grab that tape." She motions to Ethan, "Take those scissors and cut his shirt open."
Ethan grabs Danny's shirt and rips it open, "Works for me." Mom says. She presses gently over Danny's upper chest, trying to find the right injection point. "He's not breathing, mom." I say, panic evident in my voice.
"I know, I know." She takes a breath then inserts the needle into Danny's chest. Air bubbles up inside the syringe as she aspirates Danny's lung. His body finally relaxes as he begins to breathe normally. I let out a breath as Danny's eyes blink open.
He locks eyes with my mom and whispers, "Thank you."
My mom smiles at him, "No problem." She then looks up at me, Scott, and Ethan. "What?"
"That was awesome." Scott says.
"It's no big deal. It's nothing really." She shrugs off the compliment.

Scott and I make our way outside and get ready to leave. We don't make it very far though because Ethan exits the hospital and quickly makes his way over to us. "I know you're not going to believe me, but I didn't do anything."
"All I know is the minute you got here, you went right after Danny. And your brother went after Lydia." Scott replies.
"We're not going to hurt him."
"Yeah? And why should we believe you?" I ask, raising an eyebrow.
He takes a careful look around then steps closer, "Because we knew one of them was going to be important to you. And now we know it's Lydia."
I scoff, "That's rich. Danny is one of my best friends. And Lydia is my best friend." I then take a step closer to Ethan so that we are practically chest to chest, "And if you or anyone else in your pack even thinks about hurting one of them, you'll wish you were dead."
"What are you going to do? We're Alpha's." Ethan says, glaring down at me.
"Yeah, but I'm faster and smarter." My eyes start to glow white but before I can act on my threat Scott lightly slaps my arm. I back away and look behind Ethan, finally noticing what got Scott's attention.
Ethan follows our gazes to lock his eyes on an empty car slowly moving across the parking lot. It comes to a halt as it hits another car, setting off it's alarm.
We rush over, Scott quickly opening the door. He reaches over picking something out of the car, "What is it?" Ethan asks.
Scott raises his hand to show us a dead moth.
A little while later Ethan was gone and Stiles, his dad, and multiple other cops were at the scene. "Hold one. Were they both in the car?" Sheriff Stilinski asks, clearly confused.
"No, dad, they're trying to tell you it's two different kidnappings. Two doctors. Both gone." Stiles replies.
"Dr. Hilyard's car. The on-call doctor. The ER Attending is the one that never showed up." My mom answers.
Stiles notices that his dad has a dazed look on his face as he looks at the accident and witnesses gathered. "Dad?" Stiles asks, snapping him out of his trance.
"Sorry. Melissa, let me just focus on getting your story first. Boys, (Y/N), give us a second."
The three of us back away to let our parents talk. "These are definitely sacrifices, right?" Scott asks.
"And it's one Deaton mentioned. Healers." Stiles confirms.
"But what about Danny? He was throwing up mistletoe. That's not a coincidence. And if he hadn't been with Ethan, he probably would've died. How is Danny a Healer?" Scott questions, confused about why Danny was attacked.
"He's not. It has to be something else. Maybe he knows something or got in the way somehow. " I answer. I look at Stiles to see if he has any input but notice he's watching something behind Scott and I.
We both turn our heads to see his dad on the phone. "Can you hear?" Stiles asks.
Both Scott and I quickly listen in and nod, "They found a body." Scott answers.
 *_*_*_*_*_*
The next morning I woke up to my mom shaking me awake and calling out, "Hello? Get up?" I blinked my eyes open from my spot next to her on the bed and turned to look at Scott and Isaac. "Boys!" She calls, louder than before.
Scott lays sleeping in a chair and Isaac is propped up against the wall. Both of them jolt awake at my mom's yell. Once she sees that we are all awake she asks, "What do you think you're doing?"
"We were watching over you." Isaac answers.
"We wanted to make sure you weren't the third sacrifice." Scott continues.
"But all three of you were asleep." My mom replies.
Scott turns his attention to Isaac, "You were on watch last."
"I thought you were on watch last." Isaac replies.
"No, you were on watch last." Scott insists.
Isaac pauses then reluctantly nods, "I might have been on watch last."
"My heroes. Didn't you say they're all doctors? I haven't had an M.D. recently added to the end of my name so I think I'm in the clear." Mom says.
"The Darach is targeting healers. That doesn't mean just doctors." I speak for the first time, making all of their heads turn to me.
Scott continues, "And you were definitely a healer last night."
"Yeah, but I'm not going to be anyone's human sacrifice today. Now all three of you, get your butts to school."
We reluctantly leave her room to get ready for the day. Though Isaac and I both elect to get dressed in something comfortable that we can move easily in, since we both decided to skip school with Boyd and help Derek with the Alpha pack.
 *_*_*_*_*_*
Boyd, Isaac and I slide open the door to Derek's loft. We step inside and not even a minute later Derek calls to us, "Get back to school."
"We can't. The three of us are incredibly, unbelievably sick." Isaac answers.
"With what? Brain damage?" Derek retorts, finally coming into view.
"I have a migraine. (Y/N) developed a rash and Boyd has explosive diarrhea."
Derek tries desperately not to smile but fails, meeting us in the middle of the loft.
"We're here to protect you." Boyd says.
"You're here to protect me? I'm in trouble."
My mouth falls open in mock shock, "I'm offended, Der. Did you really think we would come here without a plan? Boyd here, happens to be a bit of a genius."
Derek smirks but doesn't say anything as he watches Boyd place the bag he was carrying down. He kneels beside it to unzip it as he begins talking, "I thought about the time Gerard had me and Erica tied up, hooked to wires that were pushing electrical currents through us. So I wondered how we could do something like that, but on a bigger scale."
Derek reaches into the bag and pulls out a coil of rope. He raises an eyebrow as he asks, "What kind of plan is this?"
"Actually, I'd call it more of a trap."
I move to unravel a hose so water can start pouring onto the floor of the loft. Boyd begins to explain the plan to Derek, "In a pool of electrified water, it can take only fifty milliamps to kill a normal human. Less power than it takes to turn on a light bulb."
"That's comforting." Derek states, looking down at the water starting to pool around his feet.
"If we disable the circuit interrupter in the building's electrical room, the current will keep coming. And anyone who steps foot in here gets a pretty shocking surprise."
"Especially someone barefoot." Isaac finishes.
Derek looks at the three of us, a proper smile beginning to form.
 *_*_*_*_*_*
I step up to a platform raised above the floor as I take a call from Scott and wait for the boys to finish setting up the trap, "What's going on?" I ask him.
"Deaton was taken by the Darach. We're trying to figure out where he is. He called me at school and said that I was the only one that would be able to find him."
"It sounds like you're panicking. Breathe Scott. You'll find him, alive. Okay?"
"What if I don't, (Y/N/N)?"
"You can't think like that alright?"
"Is everything okay at Derek's?"
"Yeah, the plan is coming together fine. But don't worry about us. Just focus on finding Deaton." I hang up and quickly dial Stiles. "Do you have any clues on where Deaton is?"
"Not yet. Lydia has no clue how to use her powers or how to find him." He answers.
"Well maybe because Deaton isn't dead or close to death? Her powers tend to lead her to the dead bodies. Maybe it's a good sign that she doesn't know where he is."
"I guess we can hope. But the goal is to find him before he's dead."
"Yeah, I know that. Just keep me updated, alright?"
"Yeah, you too. Stay safe, (Y/N)." We hang up just as Boyd is finishing the trap.
He kneels down and reaches out to touch the water, "Woah, what are you doing?" Derek asks.
"You can test to see if the water is electrified with the back of your hand. If there's a current, it'll kick your hand up. Do it with the front, the muscles clench and your hand goes under." Boyd explains. He reaches out and his hand snaps back. He mutters out, "Still hurts, though."
"You think it could kill them?" Isaac questions.
"I hope so."
 *_*_*_*_*_*
As night falls Derek starts to check his phone. "Cora?" Isaac asks.
"She was supposed to be back by now." Derek replies.
I open my mouth to speak but quickly close it. I squeeze my eyes shut then choke out, "Something's wrong. We're in trouble."
"What do you mean? (Y/N/N), are you okay?" Isaac asks, concern laced in his voice.
I don't answer, instead I keep my eyes trained on the water. On pure instinct I take a step forward. "(Y/N)-" The three boys called out to me, shocked that I was taking a step into the electrified water.
They get cut off though when nothing happens. Before anyone can comment the rest of the power goes out, "What do we do now?" Isaac asks.
Derek jumps down from the platform, landing beside me, "We fight."
"There's no back exit?" I ask.
The Alpha looks at me, "No. We need to do this."
I bite my lip and shake my head, "It's not going to end well for us. I can sense it."
Derek keeps his eyes locked on mine, "You're going to be alright, I won’t let anything happen to you."
“It’s not me I’m worried about.” I answer.
Isaac and Boyd join Derek and I in the middle of the loft. A few seconds later the door swings open. Kali steps forward, "I'm going to be honest, Derek. When Ennis died, I thought to myself I would just go for it. Find you and kill you wherever you stand. Then I remembered how you surround yourself with these teenagers. Hiding behind them. And I thought what's a girl gotta do to get you alone? That's when I found out that I've got some real competition."
Ethan and Aiden step out from behind her. They drag Ms. Blake between them. She looks terrified, "You and me Derek. Or they tear her apart. What do you say? Think you can beat me one-on-one?" Kali asks.
Derek steps forward, eyes blazing red, "I'm going to rip your throat out. With my teeth."
Isaac, Boyd, and I all stand back watching nervously as Derek and Kali fight one another. Boyd texts Cora, letting her know what is happening. I, on the other hand, refuse to text Scott or Stiles knowing that they are busy trying to find Deaton and not wanting them to worry about us.
Kali quickly gains the upper hand, Boyd, Isaac and I step forward to help though Derek quickly shakes his head, "No!"
We step back to our places, "Do you still have that sense that something bad is about to happen?" Isaac whispers to me.
"Uh huh." I simply answer, nodding my head.
A few moments later Boyd nods to me and Isaac, indicating that it was time to take action.
Isaac and I rush to the twins, who instinctively let go of Ms. Blake to defend themselves. Boyd rushes towards Kali at the same time.
Rather than attacking, Isaac rushes towards our teacher to get her out of harm's way. I make a move for Aiden, moving faster than he does and scratching his stomach with my claws.
Before he or Ethan can attack Kali calls from behind me, "Take him!"
They run over to Derek to grab the weakened Alpha by the arms. I ran back at them attacking Aiden once more, this time he was prepared though. He throws me hard into the floor, my head knocking against the ground.
I lay dazed for a minute, sitting up just in time to see Kali drop Boyd onto Derek's claws. "I'm giving you until the next full moon, Derek. Make the smart choice. Join the pack. Or next time I kill all of you." Kali spits out.
She turns, walking past Isaac and Ms. Blake and out of the loft. Ethan and Aiden right on her heels.
"It's okay." Boyd whispers to Derek.
"It's not." Derek whispers back, voice cracking and tears in his eyes.
"It's all okay."
"I'm sorry."
Boyd shakes his head and weakly smiles at his Alpha, "The full moon. That feeling, that was worth it." He pauses, "You know there's a lunar eclipse coming up Erica and I were wondering what happens to us. If it makes us stronger."
Derek doesn't get the chance to answer him. Boyd falls back into the water, no longer breathing.
I hear footsteps at the loft's entrance but can't rip my eyes away from Boyd's lifeless body. Finally Stiles stands in front of me breaking me from my thoughts. He reaches out a hand that I gratefully take.
Once I'm standing properly he asks, "Are okay? Are you hurt?"
I shake my head, "No? To which question?" He asks once more.
"Both." I whisper, a dazed look present on my face.
He instantly pulls me into a tight embrace, trying to comfort me.

I have decided to rank Teen Wolf seasons (and half seasons) from my least favorite to my favorite! Spoilers!
9- Season 6 Part 2
Tumblr media
Both very dark and kinda boring. The story got a bit confusing for me and with Stiles gone there just wasn’t enough humor or heart to carry the season. I know that the hunters and the creature were both supposed to be scary but I was just a little annoyed with it all.
8- Season 5 Part 2
Tumblr media
The whole beast thing was weird. Also there were like three villains this section of the season and we didn’t really get enough time with any of them. The best bits this season part were Stiles and Lydia and the rescue. Seeing Theo dragged to hell was pretty nice though.
7-Season 6 Part 1
Tumblr media
Again, not enough Stiles. But the fact that the season basically revolves around Lydia trying to remember and then save him is very nice. I was waiting for this relationship since I started watching the show so the kids was very cathartic.
6-Season 4
Tumblr media
The introduction of Liam was nice. Basically made Scott and Stiles his parents which I always think is a funny dynamic. Although the absence of Issac was weird. The story was confusing but it seemed like it was meant to be that way. The assassin storyline was intriguing and so was Malia as a full time character.
5- Season 5 Part 1
Tumblr media
Very dramatic season. The idea of forgetting things that the dread doctors do to you unless you read that book was super interesting. Stiles being suspicious and investigating Theo and ultimately being proven right was great. The Scott and Stiles fight made me want to cry. Pretty compelling overall but still not amazing.
4- Season 1
Tumblr media
Good start to the story. A lot of what made this show entertaining was introduced in this season but they hadn’t quite figured it all out yet. Stiles was very snarky but also showed a lot of his intelligence in this season. Pretty good beginning.
3- Season 3 Part 1
Tumblr media
The whole Alpha Pack and Darach thing being separate but still actually related was fun. Lydia trying to figure out what was going on with her was compelling. The loss of some of the characters from season 2 was sad but not surprising. The true alpha thing is still weird but it lead to the rest of the show. The original Stydia kiss is in this season and my absolute favorite scene is the Scott and stiles in a puddle of gasoline thing.
2- Season 2
Tumblr media
This seasons creature was pretty scary and the story was pretty good too. Gerard was super terrifying and when Stiles was kidnapped it was really frightening. The addition of the rest of Dereks pack was fun and if they had all stuck around after this season It could have found a totally different direction to take.
1-Season 3 Part 2
Tumblr media
Top notch. Lydia investigating stiles. Stiles investigating everything. The possession. The introduction of Kira. The ending. The deaths in the finale. Everyone trying to work to save their friend. I loved this season!

Chapter 19 - Motel California
Season 3, Episode 6
“I’ve seen worse,” Scott shrugged as Ramie hopped off the bus behind him. She looked up at the motel Coach had found for them to stay at overnight.
“Where could you have possibly seen worse?” Ramie scoffed, making a disgusted face towards the sketchy motel in front of them.
“Listen up,” Coach blew his whistle to get everyone’s attention. “This was the closest motel with the most amount of vacancies and the least amount of good judgement when it comes to accepting a bunch of degenerates like yourself. You’re pairing up, choose wisely.”
He held up a handful of keys and pairs started moving forward, grabbing a key from him.
“And I’ll have no sexual perversions perpetrated by you little deviants,” Coach continued as the keys got plucked from his hand. “Got that? Keep your dirty little hands to your dirty little selves.”
“Hear that Ramona?” Stiles said loudly, a smirk clear on his face while grabbing a key from Coach. “You’re gonna have to resist the temptation to put your hands all over me.”
Ramie made a loud gagging sound and looked at Coach, who had an expression on his face that she couldn’t read. She hoped it was dark enough that no one could notice the blush that was definitely evident on her cheeks.
“Oh, are you two hooligans finally together?” Coach asked, with something that looked like it could be a smile on his face.
“No!” Ramie said quickly, shaking her head. She could hear Scott chuckling behind her. “Stiles was just joking, I’m staying with Allison and Lydia.”
Coach looked between Ramie and Stiles, Ramie trying to look innocent and Stiles trying not to laugh at himself. Coach simply sighed and shook his head, handing the last key to Ramie, who brought it over to where Lydia and Allison were standing, still near the bus. She turned back to see Stiles grinning at her, still laughing at himself. She made a slicing motion across her throat at him, which just made him laugh harder. She turned her back to him so he couldn’t see her smile.
“Lyds, you coming?” Ramie asked as Allison walked towards her, but Lydia stood frozen, staring up at the motel.
“I don’t like this place,” Lydia muttered, an almost scared look in her eyes.
“I don’t think anyone in their right mind does,” Ramie scoffed.
“It’s just one night,” Allison reassured her. “It’ll be alright.”
Ramie turned, walking towards the motel and Allison followed, the sound of Lydia’s heels clicking behind them coming a second later. Their room was right next to Scott and Stiles’, who had left their door cracked open, probably to let some fresh air in, as the girls did the same, considering the rooms smelled like no one had been in there for years.
“I’m gonna go see if Scott has some extra sweatpants I can borrow,” Ramie told Lydia and Allison as the two sat down on the beds.
Allison said she was planning on showering and Lydia had gotten up, inspecting the room, so Ramie left them to go next door. She entered the room to find Scott and Stiles each laying on a bed, staring up at the ceiling.
“So I have four,” Stiles was saying.
“Four suspects?” Scott asked, propping himself up on his elbows to give a quick nod to Ramie as she entered the room.
“There were nine before,” Ramie said, sitting down on the bed next to Stiles, who was still laying back.
“Ten,” Stiles corrected, glancing over at Ramie as she crossed her legs underneath her.
“You had Derek on there twice, that doesn’t count,” Ramie shook her head. Stiles opened his mouth to argue but Scott cut him off.
“So who’s number one, Harris?”
“Just because he’s missing doesn’t mean he’s dead,” Stiles defended his choice.
“So if he’s not dead, our chemistry teacher is out secretly committing human sacrifices,” Scott said slowly, clearly not believing the theory.
“Yeah, I guess it sounded way better in my head,” Stiles shrugged.
“I told you,” Ramie said quietly, earning a sideways glare from Stiles.
“Well what if it’s someone else from the school?” Scott asked, narrowing his eyes at the ceiling in thought. “Remember Matt, we didn’t know he was killing people for awhile.”
“Excuse me, what?” Stiles said, sitting up from the bed and standing to look down at Scott. Ramie rolled her eyes, knowing exactly where this was going. “I… yes we did. I called that from day one, actually.”
“Yeah but we never seriously thought it was Matt,” Scott pushed up on his elbows again to look at Stiles.
“I was serious, I was quite serious,” Stiles said, glancing to Ramie and holding his hands out. “I was serious, wasn’t I Ramie?”
“He was serious,” Ramie confirmed, nodding at Scott.
“Who are the other three?” Scott asked, bringing the conversation back to where it started.
“Derek’s sister, Cora,” Stiles started.
“It’s not Cora,” Ramie insisted, which she had already told him on the bus.
“Listen,” Stiles put his hands up in frustration and looked towards Ramie. “Just because you have a weird crush on her doesn’t mean she isn’t the Darach.”
“You have a crush on Cora?” Scott’s eyes widened.
“No!” Ramie exclaimed, feeling her cheeks heat up. “I just defended her on the bus and Stiles now thinks I’m in love with her or something."
Scott laughed, shaking his head and Stiles shot glares at both of them.
“She is really pretty though,” Ramie said thoughtfully, looking up into the air. Scott let out a snort and Stiles let out a loud sigh.
“She’s Derek’s sister and no one knows anything about her, she’s a decent suspect,” Stiles continued, ignoring Ramie’s comment. “Next, your boss.”
“My boss?” Scott sat up fully, narrowing his eyes at Stiles.
“He doesn’t have a valid reason,” Ramie mumbled.
“I do have a valid reason,” Stiles shot a look at Ramie before continuing. “I don’t like the whole Obi-Wan thing he has going on, you know? It freaks me out.”
Scott gave Stiles a confused look.
“Oh god here we go,” Ramie muttered as Stiles’ eyes narrowed at Scott.
“Ohmygod, have you still not seen Star Wars?” Stiles looked at Scott in shock, who shrugged.
“I swear if we make it back alive I will watch the movie.”
“It just, it makes me crazy,” Stiles mumbled, rubbing his chin and sighing. Ramie let out a breath of air through her nose, which caused Scott to send her a small smile.
“Who’s left,” Scott interrupted Stiles’ angry mutters. Stiles was quiet for a second.
“Lydia,” he finally said, sitting back down on the bed next to Ramie.
“Lydia?” Ramie gave Stiles a shocked look. He hadn’t told her this theory on the bus.
“She was totally controlled by Peter and she had no idea,” Stiles said, defending his theory. Ramie opened her mouth to defend her friend, but she realized she had no good explanation as to why the Darach couldn’t be Lydia. Weird things had been happening around Lydia that no one could really explain, and Lydia seemed to act anything but completely normal lately. Ramie let out a big sigh, laying back on the bed. She heard two more sighs from Scott and Stiles, who fell back as well, Stiles arm flush to Ramie’s.
“Well I’m hungry,” Stiles said after a few minutes of silence. “I’m gonna go find a vending machine, anyone wanna come?”
Scott shook his head as Ramie got off the bed, following suit of Stiles.
“I should get back to Allison and Lydia,” Ramie said. “Scott do you have some extra sweatpants or a shirt I could wear to bed?”
“I didn’t bring any extra clothes,” Scott shrugged sheepishly.
“Amateur,” Stiles shook his head, walking over to the desk, where his bag had been placed on top. He dug through it a bit before chucking two items over his shoulder at Ramie, who thankfully, caught them both. She wasn’t sure she’d want to wear them after they touched the floor of this place. “I’m always prepared.”
“Thanks Stilinski,” Ramie gave Stiles a grin and left the room, nearly crashing into Lydia in the hallway.
“I’m going to get more towels, wanna come?” Lydia asked, as Ramie fell into step with her. As they climbed down the stairs Ramie saw Stiles leave he and Scott’s room and head towards the other set of stairs, which below had a vending machine.
“Get some clothes?” Lydia asked, eyeing the pile Ramie had in her arms. She snatched the sweatshirt before Ramie could even think, holding it up as they walked towards the motel office. It was one of Stiles’ lacrosse sweatshirts, with his name and number across the back.
“This doesn’t look like Scott’s,” Lydia raised an eyebrow at Ramie, who grabbed it back out of Lydia’s hands.
“Scott didn’t bring extra clothes,” Ramie countered, which earned a not so subtle eye roll from Lydia. They had made it to the office and Lydia asked the woman inside for three new towels while Ramie shivered, pulling Stiles’ sweatshirt over her head as a cold breeze passed by.
“What’s that?” Ramie heard Lydia ask the old woman. Ramie followed Lydia’s eyes to a number hanging on the wall of the office. 198.
“It’s kinda of… an inside thing for the motel. My husband insists on keeping it up,” the woman explained.
“What do you mean?” Lydia pressed on. Ramie kicked Lydia’s leg subtly in hopes she would drop the topic, because Ramie thought the old lady, and the whole motel was pretty creepy. Lydia ignored her.
“It’s a little bit morbid, to be honest,” the woman shrugged. “Are you sure you want to know?”
“Tell me,” Lydia said, at the same time Ramie shook her head.
“We’re not going to make the top of anyone’s list when it comes to customer satisfaction,” the woman said.
“Obviously,” Ramie mumbled, turning her back to the woman and leaning against the counter, looking out over the parking lot.
“But we are number one in California when it comes to one disturbing little detail. Since opening, more than any other motel in California, we have the most guest suicides.”
Ramie whipped her head back around, looking at the woman, who was just nodding.
“198?” Lydia mumbled.
“And counting.”
When Ramie and Lydia got back to their room, they explained what they learned to Allison, who was already freaked out. She said that Scott had come into their room and was acting really strange, then left suddenly once it seemed like he snapped out of some weird trance. Then suddenly, things got even weirder. Lydia then swore she heard two people committing suicide in the room next door, but when the three checked the room, it was empty, it looked like it was being renovated. Allison suggested they go ask the woman in the office, but she was nowhere to be found when they went back down. However, the number on the wall had changed, from 198 to 201.
“So does that mean there have been three more suicides?” Allison asked at they got back up to their room.
“Or three more are about to happen,” Lydia said, a terrified look on her face.
All three of them jumped when there was a loud banging on their door, someone knocking forcefully. Ramie held a finger up to her lips and crept over to the door, looking through the peep hole. She sighed loudly when she saw Stiles pacing back and forth, reaching up to knock again.
“What’s up,” Ramie asked as she opened the door. Stiles pushed past her and grabbed her arm, using his other hand to close the door behind her.
“Somethings wrong,” he said quickly, standing in front of her. Ramie’s back was to the door and she could see Lydia and Allison eyeing the two of them over Stiles’ shoulder. “Scotts acting strange and I just watched Boyd put his fist through a vending machine. I don’t like it here at all, we should leave.”
Stiles now had both hands on either side of Ramie’s arms, looking at her with a concerned look on his face. The way he was holding her felt strangely intimate, but Ramie pushed those thoughts away. Lydia cleared her throat and Stiles jumped, whipping around to face Lydia and Allison.
“Jesus,” he put a hand over his chest. “I didn’t know you guys were here.”
“Clearly,” Lydia smirked as Stiles took a few steps away from Ramie, straightening the zip up he was wearing. Stiles rubbed the back of his neck, a habit Ramie knew he did when he felt uncomfortable.
“Scott was weird with Allison also,” Ramie said, changing the topic back to what it had been.
“It’s the motel,” Lydia said immediately.
“They keep count of how many suicides they have here and put the number on the wall in the office,” Ramie told Stiles, whose face scrunched up in disgust.
“That’s fucked up,” he sat down in the desk chair, running a hand through his hair. Ramie  pushed herself up onto the desk, sitting on it and dangling her legs down next to where Stiles sat.
“I’d say,” Ramie nodded. “And get this, when me and Lydia went down there earlier the number was 198. But just now when we went down it was 201."
“I don’t know what’s going on, but someone needs to learn how to do an exorcism before the werewolves go crazy and kill us,” Lydia said frantically, pulling a bible out of the drawer in the nightstand between the beds.
“Okay, hold on,” Stiles held up his hands, trying to relax Lydia. “What if it’s not just the hotel? The number in the office went up by 3 right?”
“You mean like three sacrifices,” Allison said, putting it together. Stiles nodded.
“Three werewolves?” Ramie asked.
“Scott, Isaac and Boyd,” Stiles confirmed. “Maybe we were meant to come here.”
“Exactly!” Lydia exclaimed. “So can we get the hell out of here now?”
“Hang on,” Stiles stood up, grabbing the Bible out of Lydia’s hand. He opened it up and pulled out something, it looked like a cut out newspaper clipping. Ramie got up, reading over his shoulder.
“Twenty-eight year old man hangs himself at the infamous Glen Capri Motel,” she read aloud. Stiles shook the bible over the bed and more newspaper clippings fell.
“All the clippings say room 217,” Lydia said. “That’s this room.”
“So if every room has a bible,” Allison said.
“There could be clippings in every room,” Lydia finished.
“That’s a beautiful thing, most places leave a mint on the pillow, this place leaves a record of all the horrible deaths that have occurred,” Stiles said. Ramie smacked his arm at his sarcasm.
“What if the room next door has one about the couple I heard,” Lydia said. All four of them looked towards the room next door. Stiles suddenly took off, running at the door, the three girls following behind him. When they reached the hallway Stiles was already at the door, pulling on the handle.
“It was not locked before,” Lydia said.
“We need to get Scott, Isaac and Boyd out of here,” Ramie said, as Stiles took off towards the stairs. However, everyone froze when the sound of a saw rang through the quiet night air. Stiles spun on his heel, a terrified look on his face.
“I’m not the only one hearing that am I?” Lydia asked, looking at the locked door.
“It sounds like someone turned the handsaw on,” Allison said.
“Handsaw?” Stiles asked, suddenly next to them again. “Move.”
The three girls backed up as Stiles did, who then ran forward, slamming into the door, hard, which thankfully wasn’t too reliable, since it swung open. Ethan stood in the middle of the room, handsaw above his head, and began slowly bringing it down towards his stomach.
“Hey, Ethan, don’t!” Stiles yelled, running forward. He grabbed the saw, trying to pull it away from Ethan.
“Stiles!” Ramie shrieked, as the saw got dangerously close to him while he struggled with Ethan. She felt frozen, watching Stiles try to get the saw away from Ethan, while also not getting hurt himself. Suddenly the saw turned off and Ramie glanced over to Lydia, who had pulled the plug out from the wall, just as Stiles fell to the ground, his face landing inches away from the saw. Ethan stood up straight, putting out his claws. He immediately went for his stomach, trying to slice himself open. Ramie and Stiles both ran forward, attempting to pull Ethan’s arms away from his torso. Eventually Ethan fell sideways, his hand making contact with a space heater, which seemed to burn him back to reality.
“What the hell just happened,” Ethan stood up from the ground, looking confused and holding his hand where it was burnt. No one answered immediately and Ethan took off, out the door.
“Ethan, wait,” Stiles called, following him outside.
“I don’t know what happened, okay,” Ethan said as Stiles, Ramie, Allison and Lydia followed him down the stairs. “I don’t know how I got there or what I was doing.”
“You know you could be a bit more helpful,” Stiles stopped at the end of the stairs, the rest stopping behind him as Ethan turned to look at the other boy from a few feet away. “We just saved your life.”
“You probably shouldn’t have,” Ethan said, before turning and going back to his room.
“What the hell do we do now,” Lydia asked, throwing her hands up in defeat.
“Let’s go find Scott,” Allison said, nodding to Ramie. “You guys go find Boyd and Isaac, all we can do at this point is get them all out of here.”
Ramie and Allison first went to Scott and Stiles’ room, where Scott should’ve been, but couldn’t find him. They knocked on doors down the hallway, seeing if he was in anyone else’s room, and he was nowhere to be found. They accidentally knocked on Coach’s door as well, which turned into a ten minute lecture on them being out of bed and how they need to get to sleep. Thankfully, Lydia yelling to Ramie from a room on the other side of the motel got them away from Coach, since they promised to make sure everyone quieted down.
“What’s going on,” Ramie panted as she slowed from a run, meeting Lydia as she held the door open to Boyd and Isaac’s room. Allison had agreed to continue looking for Scott while Ramie checked to see what Lydia needed. Boyd stood in the middle of the room, soaking wet, next to Stiles, both of whom were staring at one of the beds.
“I tried to drown myself,” Boyd grimaced, gesturing to his soaking wet clothes. “These two saved me.”
“Heat snaps them out of it,” Stiles explained. “Ethan touched that heater, we used this flare to get Boyd out of the bath.”
“Isaac’s under the bed, which is why I called you here,” Lydia said.
“Under the bed?” Ramie questioned, and Lydia held up a hand, silencing her.
“He’s going through something weird too, but he’s hiding under the bed, terrified,” she explained. “We can’t get him to come out and we thought maybe you could.”
“His Dad,” Ramie murmured. Isaac was freaked out because of the abuse he endured from his Dad. Everyone in the room just stared at Ramie, unsure of what to say. She walked over to the bed, kneeling down in front of it.
“Be careful,” Stiles said, but Ramie waved him away. She leaned her head down, pulling up the bed skirt. Isaac was curled up under the bed, breathing heavily and visibly shaking. It looked like he was having a panic attack.
“I,” Ramie said, using her nickname for him in a quiet voice. “Isaac, are you okay?”
Isaac’s head whipped towards her, making eye contact only for a second before scooting backwards more, closer to the wall.
“It’s okay,” Ramie continued. “Everything’s alright, it’s just me, Ramie. Can you come out?”
Isaac stopped whimpering and looked Ramie in the eyes. For a second, she thought she had gotten through to him. Then suddenly, before anyone could even comprehend what was happening, Isaac shot forward, moving from under the bed and tackling Ramie, teeth bared. Ramie couldn’t process what was going on around her, she simply closed her eyes in fear. She trusted Isaac, basically with her life, for so long, and suddenly she was sure she was going to die at his hand. She heard commotion around her and suddenly Isaac wasn’t pining her down, but someone was trying to pull her up off the ground.
She opened her eyes to see Boyd pining Isaac to the wall across the room, Isaac holding a hand to his arm where Ramie assumed Boyd had put the flare to his skin, snapping him out of the trance. Ramie glanced up to see Lydia with her arms around her, looking her over to make sure she wasn’t hurt.
“I’m okay Lyds,” Ramie squeaked out. She didn’t expect her voice to sound so terrified. “It’s not his fault.”
Lydia started to say something but Ramie couldn’t hear a word, because Stiles began to yell.
“What the fuck is your problem?” He walked forward, pushing Boyd off of Isaac and holding Isaac against the wall himself. “You could’ve fucking killed her, you know that?”
“Stiles,” Ramie yelled, standing up quickly despite Lydia’s words of protest. Stiles either didn’t hear, or ignored her.
“You could’ve killed her!” Stiles repeated, still screaming in Isaac’s face. “If you ever come near her like that again I swear to god I’ll-“
“Stiles!” Ramie yelled again, louder this time. She grabbed his arm, puling him back from Isaac, who looked like he was about to burst into tears. “It’s not his fault.”
“He could’ve killed you,” Stiles said as tried to step towards Isaac again, but Ramie moved in front of him, putting herself between the two boys. She put both hands on either side of Stiles at his biceps. She waited until he looked at her, making eye contact. “I’m okay, Isaac didn’t mean to do anything wrong.”
Stiles nodded, but his jaw was clenched in a way that Ramie knew he was still extremely angry. Stiles and Isaac never really got along the best to begin with, and this definitely made things worse.
“Ramie, I’m sorry,” Isaac said quietly from behind her, and she watched as anger flashed over Stiles’ eyes again. She put a hand on his chest, holding him in place as she turned to Isaac.
“We’ll talk later,” Ramie gave the curly haired boy a small smile. He nodded glumly, looking between Ramie and Stiles. Ramie grabbed Stiles wrist, dragging him to the other side of the room with her. When she dropped his hand his arms immediately crossed over his chest, a glare never leaving his face as he stared at Isaac across the room.
“Pack up your things,” Ramie pointed at Boyd and Isaac. “We’re sleeping on the bus tonight, all of us.”
She was cut off by Allison suddenly running into the room.
“I still can’t find Scott anywhere,” she panted, looking worried. Lydia nodded, like she was thinking.
“Okay, we’ll go look for him, you two pack up and meet us at the bus in half an hour, if we haven’t found Scott by then you’ll have to help us look,” she told Isaac and Boyd, who nodded. Ramie grabbed Stiles’ hand, tugging him out of the room and away from Isaac before he had the chance to say or do anything else.
“It must be happening to him too,” Ramie said as she, Stiles, Lydia and Allison made their way down the stairs. Ramie realized she was still holding Stiles’ hand as she walked in front of Lydia and Allison, and quickly dropped it. She watched as Stiles’ eyes flicked to hers, then quickly looked away.
“There’s another flare on the bus, right?” Lydia asked as they made it to the bottom of the stairs. Ramie heard Stiles reply but didn’t comprehend anything he said. She was frozen at the bottom of the stairs, being the first to turn the corner and look out over the parking lot. She had found Scott, but it wasn’t good. The smell of gasoline filled the air as Scott stood in the middle of the lot, soaking wet, and holding the last flare in his hand. It sizzled in the quiet night air. Ramie was snapped out of her shock when Stiles slammed into the back of her, not seeing Scott.
“Raim, what are you,” Stiles started, but then followed her gaze. Scott was back to them, seeming to be staring at the ground, frozen in place.
“Scott,” Allison said, her voice cracking. She walked around to the front of him, the rest following her. Ramie felt like her throat was going to close up. She grabbed Stiles’ hand again, this time lacing her fingers through his. He glanced over at her before squeezing her hand.
“There’s no hope,” Scott croaked out, his voice sounding almost robotic. Ramie tried to say something but no words would come out. She noticed a can of gasoline a few feet away, confirming her thought that Scott was covered head to toe in the flammable liquid. She could feel her body begin to shake in panic, tears already falling down her cheeks.
“What do you mean Scott,” Allison said, tears falling down her face too. “There’s always hope.”
“Not for me,” Scott replied, not looking up at any of them. “Not for Derek.”
“Derek wasn’t your fault,” Ramie said, finally able to get words to come out of her mouth. “You know that Scott. It wasn’t your fault.”
“Every time I fight back it just gets worse, people keep getting hurt, people keep getting killed.”
“Scott, listen to me,” Stiles cut him off, stepping forward. His hand slowly dropped from Ramie’s as he moved closer to his friend. “This isn’t you. This is someone inside your head telling you to do this.”
“What if, what if it is just me,” Scott stammered. “What if doing this is actually the best thing I could do for everyone else?”
“Scott,” Ramie stepped forward too, not sure what to say.
“It all started that night,” Scott cut her off. “The night I got bitten. You guys remember the way it was before that? The three of us?”
Stiles and Ramie both nodded. Ramie looked to Stiles to try and figure out what they could do, but his eyes were locked on Scott, a tear falling down his cheek.
“We were nothing,” Scott said quietly. “We weren’t popular, we weren’t good at lacrosse. We never had boyfriends or girlfriends. We weren’t important. We were no one. Maybe I should just be no one again. No one at all.”
Ramie sucked in a breath as Scott slowly turned his hand to the side, moving it in a way that if he let go of the flare it would drop straight into the puddle of gasoline he was standing in.
“Scott just listen to me okay,” Stiles said, stepping forward. Ramie tried to grab at his arm and pull him back, but he was out of her reach. “You’re not no one, okay? You’re someone. Scott you’re my best friend, okay, and I need you.”
“I need you too,” Ramie said, nearly sobbing through her words as she stepped next to Stiles.
“Scott, you’re my brother, alright,” Stiles continued. He glanced at Ramie and down at the puddle of gasoline, and she immediately understood what Stiles was going to do. As he stepped forward, putting himself in the puddle of gasoline with Scott, Ramie sucked in a breath, biting her lip so hard that she could taste blood. Stiles slowly put a hand up, wrapping it around Scott’s hand that held the flare. “If you’re gonna do this then I think you’re going to just have to take me with you.”
Ramie let out a sob, putting a hand over her mouth. Lydia instantly moved closer to her, wrapping an arm around her shoulder. The three girls watched as Stiles slowly pulled the flare out of Scott’s hand, then chucked it behind him quickly, before Scott had the chance to do anything else. Ramie let out a sigh of relief, immediately running forward to tackle Scott in a hug. Before she got the chance, Lydia shrieked, running towards them as Stiles grabbed Scott and Ramie, pulling them both to the ground and out of the gasoline, just in time for the flare to be blown by the wind into the puddle, igniting it immediately.
“The darach,” Lydia yelled through the roar of the fire. Ramie sat up, scooting backwards with the her friends as Lydia yelled. When they made it a safe distance away from the fire they turned to Lydia, with a confused look. “The darach did this to you guys. I saw it.”
Isaac and Boyd met them at the bus just minutes after the fire died down. Allison and Lydia decided to go pack up all of their’s and Ramie’s stuff while Scott showered in their room, since Ramie didn’t want him being left alone again, but she wanted to talk to Isaac before Stiles had the chance to attempt to beat him up again. Stiles and Boyd got on the bus together to get ready to sleep while Ramie and Isaac stood outside, looking over the parking lot.
“Ramie, I cannot tell you how sorry I am,” Isaac said as soon as the bus door closed behind Stiles. Ramie held up her hand to quiet him.
“It’s okay Isaac, I’m not mad,” she said.
“Stiles is,” Isaac nodded towards the bus.
“He’s just… protective,” Ramie said, trying to find the right word.
“He cares about you a lot,” Isaac said sincerely. “Like I think he would actually kill me if I hurt you.”
“No he wouldn’t,” Ramie scoffed.
“I don’t know,” Isaac shrugged. “People do crazy things for the people they love.”
Ramie’s head whipped towards his, probably too fast. Her eyes were wide when his met hers, and a small smirk was on his mouth.
“What do you mean,” she said quickly, her eyes narrowing at the taller boy.
“I just mean he’s your best friend and he cares about you a lot,” Isaac shrugged, the small smile not leaving his face.
“Right,” Ramie nodded. “Yeah.”
Isaac let out a small noise that sounded like it could be a chuckle, and they were both quiet for minute.
“Isaac,” Ramie said quietly, getting his attention back. “I mean this in the nicest way possible, but I think you need to find a new anchor.”
Isaac’s eyes met hers and he nodded slightly, like he knew this was where the conversation was going.
“You will always have a place in my heart, and you know that,” Ramie said, grabbing his hand. “But you need to be able to control yourself without me there.”
“I know,” Isaac said quietly. “I’ve been trying.”
“Good,” Ramie nodded, squeezing his hand. “You’re stronger than you know.”
Isaac stepped forward, wrapping Ramie in a hug.
“Thank you,” he said.
Without speaking, Ramie knew that there was an understanding between the two of them. It sort of felt like a goodbye hug, like they were letting go of their past relationship, but also, it was the two of them moving into new territory. Friendship, but nothing more. Ramie knew she’d always have a soft spot for him, but not in the same way that she once had.
As she pulled away from the hug she looked up to see Stiles sending a glare at the two of them from the bus window. Ramie rolled her eyes and stepped back from Isaac, seeing Scott, Allison and Lydia making their way over.
“Guess it’s bedtime,” Isaac said, glancing up at Stiles in the window, who whipped his head around to pretend he wasn’t staring at the two of them. Ramie snorted, walking over to the bus and climbing in, moving towards the back and sliding in the seat next to Stiles.
“You know we stayed outside so we could have some privacy,” Ramie said quietly to Stiles as everyone else got on the bus, Allison tossing Ramie her purse as everyone tried to settle into a bus seat comfortably.
“I was making sure he didn’t try and kill you again,” Stiles put his hand up defensively.
“Sure,” Ramie nodded, getting up to move into the seat in front of Stiles so they could both lay down in their own seat.
“Wait,” Stiles grabbed her arm, pulling her back down. “Can we talk theories?”
“Stiles, I’m tired,” Ramie whined, trying to get up again. Stiles pulled her back down.
“You can lay down and I’ll play with your hair, like you used to make me,” Stiles gave her a soft smile. “You don’t have to talk, you can just listen.”
When they were younger, Ramie used to force Stiles to play with her hair, or scratch her back whenever they had sleepovers. She told him it was the only way she could fall asleep away from home, but really she just found it comforting. The habit turned into a regular thing that Stiles would do, usually when they had sleepovers, but as they got older he would sometimes run a hand through her hair as they watched a movie, or draw shapes on her back when she was napping in his room. A few times when Stiles was sick Ramie did the same thing for him. They never spoke about it, it was just something they would do. There were a lot of things like that between them.
Ramie sighed, slouching sideways and putting her head on the seat next to Stiles’ leg, stretching out to rest her feet on the seat on the other side of the aisle
“That can’t be comfortable,” Stiles looked at her contorted body, scrunching his nose. He patted a hand on his thigh and Ramie looked up, meeting his eyes. Part of her expected him to burst out laughing, like he was joking about her laying her head in his lap. But he simply smiled, patting his leg again. Ramie scooted up, putting her head onto Stiles lap and rearranged her body so she was laying sideways, the back of her head against his stomach. His hand immediately threaded through her hair, lightly pulling through small knots as he began to whisper all his theories on who the Darach was and what the alpha pack was up to. Ramie fell asleep so quickly she regretted it the next morning, because she would’ve done anything to stay awake all night with Stiles’s hands running through her hair and lightly across her back, drawing words she couldn’t comprehend.

A/N: TW: Mentions of sexual assault, abuse, rape. Soooo, I know Teen Wolf is like 6 years old (maybe less since season three came out later) but I just barely now came across a lot of .... tea... about Jeff Davis and the controversy he stirred up about Dennifer? So, yeah I’ve noticed he treated Derek like shit in the series. Actually a whole bunch of characters that deserved better. Plus there was a lot of queerbaiting and a lot of implied romantic relationships/feelings between adults and literal high schoolers and ugh let’s not mention the lowkey xxx scenes between a lot of the characters that were there just because. But one that really stuck to me  was the whole Jennifer Blake ‘psychologically and sexually abused’ Derek. So apparently (and also confirmed by Jeff Davis but I can’t seem to find the link to the article anywhere) Jennifer Blake used Darach magic on Derek to have him trust her and in the scene where they are intimate that was also her using magic because she was healing him and tricking him in to thinking love was making him heal faster. And then she completely 180ed on him when it was time for her to carry out her plan. I rewatched it and it’s hard for me to see it any other way especially since the WRITER confirmed it himself. So, if you were rooting for Dennifer in these next chapters, I’m sorry that’s not happening. I love all of the actors that were in the show, honestly, with all my heart but if I knew JD was such a trash bag and treated them horribly I never would’ve started watching Teen Wolf again. And yes I spent way too much time in the anti Jeff Davis tag.

Beacon Hills Preserve
Peter watched Erica, nervously. She hadn’t charged at him, yet, but she had her eyes trained on him. With every little movement from him, she moved too, getting ready.
“Ok Y/N!” He called out loudly. “She’s here!”
You didn’t answer. You didn’t even come out from your hiding spot. Erica didn’t even bother to look for you either. She can’t attack what she can’t see.
Erica lowered herself slightly, growling at Peter. Peter knew what that meant; she was getting ready to pounce. “Y/N!” He yelled angrily. “Fuck it.” He muttered. He took one step back and Erica was already pouncing on him.
Peter fell to the ground. Erica raised her arms and he grabbed both her wrists before she could claw at him. He had enough strength now to be able to hold her back.
“Y/N!!!” He yelled. Erica snapped at him, getting closer to biting off a chunk of his face.
She suddenly stopped moving and went limp. Peter threw her off of him and stood up quickly. He looked down at her then at you.
You were holding a medium sized log and you were grinning at him. “Great work, Peter.” You teased him.
“Right.” He drawled. He started wiping off the leaves and dirt off of himself. “We caught one. Now what?”
“Now you—,” you paused. There was a faint, trilling sound echoing in the woods. It was far away, but with your hearing you could make out what it was. “Argent.” You said out loud. “He’s actually helping.”
“Great, you don’t need me then.” He began walking off.
“No, I’m not done with you yet.” You grabbed the back of his coat and pulled him back. “Take Erica back to the loft. Chain her up if you have to but don’t let her out of your sight!”
Peter groaned and rolled his eyes like a child.
“I’m gonna follow Argent’s emitters. Shouldn’t be too hard to catch the other two.” You walked off in the direction the emitters were coming from.
“You can’t save them all!” Peter yelled to you. He lifted Erica up and tossed her on over his shoulder. “You and Scott will soon come to learn that.”

Beacon Hills High School
You and Derek were inside the school building waiting for Boyd and Cora. Derek had told you what they were planning. You were going to trap them in the boiler room at the high school until morning. If it all went according to plan.
There was still a little bit of tension between the two of you. He was still upset about finding out about Cora the way he did. And there was something else that was bothering him that he wasn’t talking about. But you didn’t want to pry. So you stayed quiet.
“Peter doesn’t think we can catch them.” Derek suddenly spoke. “This is all part of Deucalion’s plan. If I don’t kill them- if this doesn’t work-”
“Derek.” You softly called to him. “This is going to work. I mean, we caught Erica.” You approached him and grabbed his hands. You gave them a gentle squeeze but he refused to look at you. “Argent-”
“I don’t trust Argent.” He cut you off, pulling his hands from your grasp.
“Do you trust me?” That made him look at you now. He furrowed his brows in confusion like you had just asked him for a limb. “Derek. Do you trust me?” You asked again.
“Yes.” He replied after a moment of silence. “What if we have to-”
“As long as you trust me, Derek. We can do this.” You gave him a small smile in which he returned one of his own. A small glowing ball of light behind Derek caught your eye. He noticed your expression and followed your line of sight.
“What is it?” Derek asked. You walked around him and approached the glowing bug, swiping at the air to catch it. “A firefly?”
“Yeah.” You replied confused. “But the species native to California aren’t bioluminescent.” You opened your palm to reveal the bug but instead a cloud of black smoke erupted from your palm.
“And I don’t know of any fireflies that explode like that.” You looked over your shoulder at Derek. He was behind you, looking down at your palm just as confused as you were.
His head whipped around towards the door. “We have a bigger problem.” He said, turning and taking a few steps towards the door. “They’re here.”
You joined Derek where he stood and a moment later, Boyd and Cora appeared at the doors of the school. They eyed you and Derek for a second and then jumped up on to the roof of the school.
 “What the hell?” Derek frowned.
“Well, that backfired. What do we do now?”
“We ask Argent.” Derek rushed out of the school.
You followed after him, only stopping when you heard a classroom door close somewhere in the building. You turned your head back slowly, blocking out all other sounds and focusing your hearing to confirm your suspicion.
Heels. There was definitely someone else in the building.
“Oh, you’ve got to be shitting me.” You groaned. You walked back inside the school building and followed the sound. Down the stairs. Further down. Leading you straight to the boiler room.
“Why?” You whined to yourself.
You opened the door to the boiler room and entered. You walked further back in to the room. There was a noise coming from what looked like the supply area. You noticed the small movement and walked over there. A teacher was grabbing more supplies; she hasn’t noticed your presence as she continued pulling supplies from the shelves.
She finally looked up from the supplies in her hands and let out a small gasp when she saw you. You held a finger up to your lips and slowly backed out, closing the gate door. As a precaution you clicked the clock shut.
You heard the metal door slam in the distance. The teacher approached the gate. “Shhh. There’s, uhm, animals in the building. My team is just outside but you have to stay hidden. Go back. Get out of the light.” you gestured with your hands for her to move back.
She was visibly frightened but did what you said anyway. You walked away from the supply area. Boyd and Cora were in the room. You could smell them.
“What are you hearing?” Derek’s voice. “Heartbeats.” Scott. “Both of them?” Derek again.
“Lie.” You whispered, hoping he could hear you. With the full moon out, Derek was suppressing his shift as well. He wouldn’t be able to pick up on your voice unless he truly focused his hearing. “Lie.” You repeated.
Scott’s heart skipped a beat. You were getting nervous. “Yeah.” You heard Scott finally say. You let out a breath of relief; one too soon.
A low growl came from ahead and claws scratching against metal came from your right. You closed your eyes, dreading what was about to happen.
Cora came at you from the right and Boyd rushed at you from the front. You clawed at his face first making him stumble back. Cora’s arms flailed crazily as she clawed at you.
Boyd’s attention was averted away from you when he heard the heavy sound of supplies dropping, followed by the sound of heels clicking against the hard floor.
You held Cora’s arms. You noticed Boyd going in the opposite direction, going where the teacher was hiding. “Boyd no!”
You looked at Cora, “I’m so sorry.” You let go of on if her arms, using your free arm to dig your claws across her stomach. She roared out in pain and fell to her knees.
You ran to Boyd, leaving the same gash you left on Cora but in his legs. He fell to the floor. You were going to turn around to check on Cora but a sharp burning pain came from your lower back.
You opened your mouth to scream in pain, but only a mouth full of blood spilled out. You struggled to turn your head but when you eventually did, you saw Cora was standing behind you. And she dug her claws in.
“Co-.” Another mouthful of blood. She turned her claws as she plunged them in deeper. “Cora.”
The same feeling. This time in your stomach. You turned your head to face the culprit. Boyd. He didn’t twist his claws. He dug them deeper and slowly, in a torturing way, lifted you over head. Cora removed her claws from your back and they both watched you fly across the room.
This is it, you thought. It’s almost over.
You were bleeding all over and you were healing slowly. You rolled over on to your back, the sight of the windows above you coming in to view. The moon had gone down and the sun was making it’s way up in the sky.
You let out a weak laugh of relief. You turned your head to look up at the ceiling. Your eyes were getting heavier. You blinked once, slowly. Again, this time slower. And again, but you didn’t open your eyes again.

Beacon Hills High School
Derek looked up at the morning sky, relieved. Surprisingly even sharing a quick handshake with Argent as a thank you. He looked over at Scott. Scott didn’t look too relieved; he looked like he was going to be sick.
“The suns up,” Scott said hastily, “we should let them out now.”
Derek stared at him suspiciously, “Not yet. The sun may be up but we don’t know if they’ve shifted back. We’ll wait a little longer.”
Scott’s heart jumped. “How long is a little longer?”
“Is there something you need to tell me, Scott?”
He looked back at Stiles. Stiles shook his head, advising his friend against what he was about to do. “I told you I heard two heartbeats, right?” he stuttered. Derek glared. “I-.”
“Oh my God, it’s Erica!” Stiles shouted. He was actually happy to see Erica but was more relieved that he just saved his best friend from being murdered.
“What?” Derek turned around. It was Erica. And she was her normal self again. And she was walking—
“With Peter? But..” he turned back to look at Scott. “You said you saw Y/N leave with Peter last night.”
“Huh?” Scott asked dumbfounded by the sudden attention again.
Peter looked at all five faces, realizing there was one missing. “Where’s Y/N?” Peter asked.
“Where is she, Scott?” Derek chided. “And don’t lie to me.”
“She’s in the boiler room.”
Derek hesitated between grabbing Scott and wringing his neck or running to the boiler room. He chose the latter. He hadn’t taken a step yet when he saw Boyd and Cora walking their way.
His heart dropped. Boyd was carrying you. Cora was walking next to him, a crying mess. A stranger, a woman, ran out from the school building. She saw Derek, but he didn't see her.
“Ms. Blake?” Stiles whispered to himself.
“I’ll take care of the civilian.” Argent awkwardly announced.
Derek didn’t say anything. He just started walking towards all of you. The closer he got, the worse you began to look. Cora and Boyd were all healed up. But he could tell from their clothes that you were fighting back, viciously.
Argent gestured the teacher to follow him. Leaving Derek to check on Boyd and Cora. And you.
“Derek,” Cora’s voice was shaky. Her lip quivered and her eyes were brimmed with tears. “I wanted to stop.”
He closed the gap and hugged Cora. “I’m just glad you’re alive.” She began sobbing into his chest. She let out all the tears that she had been holding in for years. All of those and then some.
“We should take her to Deaton.” Scott suggested.
“I’ll take her.” Derek told him. “You’ve done enough.” There was no hint of gratitude in his voice.
“Derek,” Scott began to explain.
Stiles put his hand on his best friend’s shoulder. “Scotty.” Stiles shook his head at him. “Let’s just go home, man.”
Scott looked at everyone else. They were all uncharacteristically quiet. Scott didn’t say anything, he just followed Stiles back to his Jeep.

30 Day Fandom Challenge
Here we go again for my fandom challenge. You still with me? @domsberto I'd also like to nominate @jimonsprettyface
This next fandom is one that I have been a part of from the very beginning and it holds a special place in my heart. Hold on tight and for those who haven't seen it, spoilers ahead.
Day 2- Teen Wolf
(TV Show not Movie)
1) Favorite Character: Stiles Stilinski
Tumblr media
Reason: I have a thing for adorable dorks apparently. 😂
Ok so I adore Stiles the most because he is the backbone and heartbeat of the group. Sure he's a spazz and a nerd but he also always finds a way to get the group out of sticky situations because of his intelligent and knack for looking at things from every angle (he truly is his father's son....it helps his Father is the Sheriff alot of the time). He is loyal to a fault and though he has a hard time trusting most newcomers, once you are in he will literally follow you to the ends of the earth. He is a hopeless romantic, as shown with how he is with Lydia and even Malia. He loves deeply and thought he tends to be a fuck up at times he always finds a way to make things right. He keeps the others in line and helps everyone that needs his help. As the only human of the group he takes his job very seriously and is damn good at keeping the group together even when he personally feels like falling apart. I adore him to no end.
2) Most Relatable Character: Liam Dunbar
Tumblr media
Reason: Liam is an adorable, scared and confused little rage monster. Unlike the others on the show who had a few seasons to get used to the world of the supernatural, Liam was still new to the world and was often left scratching his head wondering what the hell was going on. I can relate to that because even in real life I don't know what the hell is going on most of the time. He is also the most relatable because unlike the others on the show, he actually acts his age for the most part and wasn't forced to grow up as fast as the others. Honestly, for a young Beta wolf he can be the most human of them all at times. He likes to have fun, he likes to hang out with his girlfriend and play lacrosse. He marches to the beat of his own drum, which I do most of the time. Another thing I can relate to is having a short temper. While my temper is not nearly as bad as Liam's (who as Intermittent Explosive Disorder) I still get how hard it is to calm down once that temper is triggered.
3) Most Underrated Character: Isaac Lahey
Tumblr media
Reason: Besides Derek, Isaac probably had the most growth of all the characters on the show before his exit from the show. He had to shoulder alot of pain and loss in his life starting with his mom leaving and his brother dying, then suffering from years of abuse at the hands of his father. After being turned by Derek, he felt empowered to help not only himself but others as well and did all that he could to help people in need. He even found it in him to forgive his father for abusing him for so long, which takes strength all on it's own. He went from being a scared and abused little boy to being a badass who did everything he could to help people he cared about and those who were unable to defend themselves. I see you Isaac, I see you and I appreciate you.
4) Most Overrated Character: Derek Hale
Tumblr media
Reason: Ok before I start this, let me just says that I love Derek Hale ok? He is all kinds of sexy and has some good qualities but of all the people on the show he is also the most overrated. Ok hear me out here before you come at me. Throughout the series Derek is hyped up as this big bad Alpha dude. Yes, he turned a bunch of teens into wolves and helped them, and Scott, learn the ropes but when it came down to a fight most of the time he either made things worse or just didn't show up when he was needed the most (example when they were fighting the Nogitsune, Dread Doctors, Ghost Riders, Alphas). Most of the time it was Scott and his pack that ended up saving the day. Sure Derek helped gather intel but as far as fighting goes, he didn't really do much for such a "Big Bad Alpha" who threatened to rip people's throats out with his teeth. Hell he didn't even kill the bitch that murdered his ENTIRE family, nor did he kill the Darach...instead he slept with her. Wow Derek, just wow. He ran most of the time, went MIA alot of the time only to make a dramatic entrance and knock a few people around when Scott already had things under control. I love Derek but.....some big bad Alpha he was.
5) Least Favorite Character(s): Tied Kate, Gerard, and Victoria Argent
Reason: First of all, Kate....She got away with murdering an entire family (minus Derek, Laura, Peter and Cora) and then manages to cheat death by turning into a freaky ass werejaguar when Peter ripped her throat out. How?!?!?! No matter how much chaos she starts she still ends up getting away. How is she not dead yet? Jesus! She was a manipulative person and honestly one of the most toxic on the show besides her shady ass who I will talk about next.
Gerard was a piece of work. He brainwashed Allison into trying to kill her friends, he praised Kate for killing the entire Hale family, he tortured and killed innocent supernaturals simply for existing and used Jackson in his kanima form to carry out his shady agenda. He was also a hypocrite. He hates supernaturals yet relied on Scott to help take away his pain when he was sick and dying only to turn around and train a new generation of Anti-Supernatural hunters to do his bidding. He was a piece of shit.
Victoria Argent was the Matriarch of the Argent family and even when her daughter (Allison) and husband (Chris) wanted to actually help the innocent supernaturals she did everything in her power to make sure they felt like shit for wanting to help. She freaking tortured and tried to kill Scott for no other reason than he was a werewolf that was screwing her daughter and then made herself out to be a victim when Derek came to save Scott and he bit her a few times after she attacked him. She refused to turn and killed herself instead of facing the consequences her actions lead to (her turning into the very thing she hated, a werewolf).
6) Favorite Canon Pairing: Stydia (Stiles Stilinski and Lydia Martin)
Tumblr media
Reason: From the beginning when you first see Stiles and Lydia interact on screen you start to root for the spastic nerd to win the heart of the most popular girl in school. Stiles always saw the real Lydia that she hid behind her popular facade. He saw how smart she was, how much she actually cared for people despite pretending like she didn't. He had been in love with her since the 3rd grade and even when they dated other people, that love never died. The closer they got as friends the more you wanted them to just end up together. Several seasons later and we finally hear them confess their love for each other and finally FINALLY get together. Praise be to all things Holy! Stiles and Lydia manage to balance each other out and anchor each other. When Stiles has panic attacks, Lydia is there to help calm him down. When Lydia gets overwhelmed by her Banshee powers, Stiles is there to help ground her. Stiles saved Lydia more times than I can count but she saved him too on more than one occasion. Stiles and Lydia have a love that is beautiful and pure. I see them lasting forever and they should even now that the show has been over for a while now. They are beautiful and they are my OTP. I could go on forever but I will just leave it here.
7) Favorite Non-Canon Ship: Scisaac (Scott McCall and Isaac Lahey)
Tumblr media
[Close Call Honorable Mention: Sterek (Stiles Stilinski & Derek Hale)]
Reason: Ok first of all this was a close race between my boys Scisaac and my boys Sterek but when I look back at both pairings, I love the purity of Scott and Isaac versus the almost toxic pairing that is Sterek. (I adore Sterek but come on! Looking back now they were hella toxic!) Now for Scott and Isaac they had their moments. They lived together and Scott always managed to find a way to help bring Isaac back to reality when he had moments where he would lapse into PTSD style symptoms and nightmares. They always had each other's backs and they always gave each other looks that went beyond that of just friendship. Hell Isaac even agreed with hearts in his eyes that Scott was the "hot girl". I believe that if these two had of both cut Allison lose and crossed the boundary of friendship into a romantic relationship they would have been just as strong as Stydia. A pure and passionate kind of love born out of genuine care for one another.
8) Least Favorite Pairing: Stalia (Stiles Stilinski and Malia Tate)
Tumblr media
Reason: First of all their first hook up was in a freaking insane asylum so that right there is not a good start for any lasting relationship. Throughout their relationship, Malia took Stiles for granted and then had the nerve to get jealous when he paid more attention to Lydia (who he had been in love with forever at that point). Malia had the mindset of a child and was immature most of the time. Don't get me wrong, Stiles could be immature at time too but she brought out the worst in him. I don't dislike Malia. I actually like her as a character but not as Stiles's girlfriend. Plus this biggest reason I dislike this ship? It took longer for Stydia to finally happen. Let's not forget how she practically walked all over him.
9) Favorite Part/Moment: Lydia tells Stiles she loves him too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Reason: Stiles had been taken by the Ghost Riders and everyone forgot who he was but before he was taken he told Lydia "Remember I love you." But she never got the chance to say it back before he and her memories of him were ripped away. When he finally came back there was a touching scene where Lydia said "I never got to say it back." And the two of them shared their first real kiss (not counting the kiss she gave him to stop a panic attack in a previous season). This was one of those moments that was several years long overdue and for us Stydia fans, we rejoiced when they finally got their shit together and actually became a couple. Praise!
10) Least Favorite Part/Moment: Allison is killed by the Oni
Tumblr media
Reason: Allison Argent was a character you could sometimes love and hate at the same time. When they battled the Nogitsune and she sacrificed herself to the Oni to save Isasc, I sobbed like a baby. It was a way for the writers to write off the actress's character but one of the most heartbreaking scenes in the entire series. It is my least favorite because Allison died. It was a beautiful farewell as she died in the arms of her first love (Scott) but I can't even think about it without sobbing.
Thank you for sticking with me. Until tomorrow! ❤

sleep-deprived
notes: Thanks to @avadakedabitch for proofreading!! set in season 3a, my fav
warnings: sleep deprivation obvi
My head has been pounding for hours, all of this stress is killing me. With Derek’s death to the sacrificing of people, Beacon Hills has been going through a lot lately. Then, I have this algebra test that’s worth almost 30% of my final grade.
But Stiles really wants me to help him figure out how to stop the Alpha Pack and the sacrificial happenings by the supposed “dark druid” or “Darach.”
Not that I really don’t want to stop death in Beacon Hills, I just want sleep. Something I hadn’t had much of in the past 72 hours. My phone lit up in my dark room, causing me to open my eyes. I squint at the powerful light the screen shines, checking the new message I’d received.
dork
hey Y/N, you up? of course you are, you’re always up at 10. but anyways, I think I really do have a lead this time.
I groaned, just wanting at least a little bit of shut-eye. I soon fall back asleep, forgetting to answer the message Stiles had sent. My phone lit up again, this time, with a loud ringing sound. I move my arm around, searching for the buzzing phone. I grab it, tapping the answer button.
“Ugh, Stilinski...” I muttered.
“Y/N! You gotta come over! I think I finally figured something out! It’s about the Darach.” Stiles yells excitedly, making me wince.
“Mmhm, okay,” I respond, yawning.
“Hey, you sound tired. Did I wake you up?” He asks, worriedly.
“No, no, I’m fine. Yeah a little tired, but I’ll come over.” I answer, my eyes shut.
“Wait, Y/N.” Stiles says, “Stay there.”
“Why?” I furrow my brows.
“Just wait.”
I lay on my bed, almost falling asleep again, but wake myself up. Too tired to even notice the engine of a Jeep in ignition. I hear the doorbell ring, squinting, I walk downstairs, almost even falling. I open it to see Stiles, his signature grin plastered on his face.
“I’m really sorry for keeping you up the past few nights, I didn’t realize you weren’t sleeping enough. And I should’ve, I’m sorry Y/N.”
I smiled, “It’s okay, Stiles, you just wanted to help people and I love that about you.”
Stiles moved his hand to the nape of his neck, “But right now, you don’t have enough energy to, let’s get you to bed.” He lifts me onto his back, carrying me up the stairs and into my room. Stiles sets me down on the bed and lifts the blanket over me.
“Right now, your rest is my priority. Get you nice and rested for the upcoming algebra exam and to fight the supernatural.”
I laughed, “You’re the greatest friend anyone could ever ask for.”
Stiles frowned as I closed my eyes. “Yeah, friend.”
I held the blanket tightly, “Hm?”
Stiles snapped out of his daze, “Huh? Oh, it’s nothing.”
“M’kay.”
I fell asleep, last seeing Stiles working on something at my desk, facing away from me. I had woken up a few hours later, seeing the same sight as I had fallen asleep.
“Stiles?” His head rested on his hand, elbow propped up on the desk.
“Huh?” Stiles woke up falling from my chair and onto the floor.
“Stiles!” I yell, sitting up.
“I’m okay!” Stiles gets up from the floor, putting his flannel back on the chair. I laugh, “Dork.” He laughs, “It’s only been a few hours, get some sleep Y/N.” I lift up the blanket, “I will, but will you lay with me?” Stiles looked surprised, “Oh, uh.” I realized what I had said and quickly responded, “You don’t have to though if you don’t want to. You just look tired, and I don’t want you to sleep at my desk. It’s awfully uncomfortable, trust me, I’d know.”
“Sure.” Stiles walked over to my bed, laying down next to me.
When I woke up, it was morning and I had realized that we were spooning. Stiles, being the little spoon. I had my arm wrapped around him, I smiled to myself. I move my arm away, shaking him. “Stiles, wake up.”
Stiles shifted a bit, “Hm?”
“We gotta fight the supernatural.” Stiles shifts again, looking like he’s about to fall asleep.
I groaned in response, getting an idea. I tickle his sides, making him shoot up. “Hey, no fair!”
Stiles tickles me back, making me squirm. We laugh as I lay under him, I hadn’t noticed how close we had gotten until I feel his breath on my neck. Stiles props himself over me, our lips inches apart. We stare at each other intensely, knowing what the other is thinking.
Stiles leans in to kiss me, but I press my finger to his lips.
“Morning breath,” I smirk.
“Fine, then.”
I pout, “I was kidding, I’m sowy!”
Stiles laughs, “No kisses for you.”
I laugh, “Come here.” I grab his t-shirt, pulling him towards me and pressing his lips to mine. I feel him smile into the kiss.
“I love you, Y/N.” Stiles blurts, as our lips part.
“I love you too, dork.” I smile as he pulls me in for another kiss.

So I think I found a new Face Claim for my Teen Wolf OC :)
So I’ve been working on my Teen Wolf OC that I’ve had for a few years now. She was first Gabbie Reynolds and I picked Ashley Benson for her image
Tumblr media
She was such a mary sue and I made her too much like other ocs that I’ve seen. And I didn’t like that she really had no originality to her. So I spruced her up a bit after rewatching the series the second time and picked Troian Bellisario.
Tumblr media
I changed her story (mostly) from a girl that grew up with Stiles and Scott after moving to Beacon Hills after her parents died in a car accident (to live with her aunt and uncle) to Beacon Hills High outcast living with her dad and aunt. Her dad worked at the Sheriff’s Station as the Chief Deputy Sheriff (who works directly under the Sheriff) and was also born into a long line of druids. Gabbie’s mother left when she was 4 and at first, I wanted her to be Mrs. Blake the Darach from season 3A but then I wanted to try something different. So after starting the series again so I can finally start and finish season 6, I decided to remake her one more time.
Tumblr media
I introduce you to Paige Aisling Quillan, a sophomore at Beacon Hills High School, and school weirdo for her hobby of studying mythology and the supernatural. Her dad still works at the Sheriff’s Station as a Major, and her aunt owns a small cafe in town called “Beacon Hills Coffe and Tea” (where the cup was from that gave Allison the idea to look for logos at the beginning of season 3). Their family still has a long line of druid magic linked to it, but Paige’s mother (who still left when Paige was 4) was from Massachusetts. Wanna know why??
Because one of her ancestors was killed in the Salem Witch Trials.
It was never proven if she was a witch or not, but after Paige’s dad gets killed by the Kanima in season 2 (that one shot of police who get killed when Matt takes over the station) it awakens something in Paige and gives her a power (that I have yet to think of yet.)
She does end up with Stiles but it is a very slow burn, like halfway through the series slow burn. She even tries to date Matt at the beginning of season 2 to get over the bubbling crush she starts to have on Stiles (her best friend). It doesn’t help the relationship that a) Matt was completely obsessed with Allison. and b) he pretty much killed her dad.
After season 2, Paige and her aunt go to Ireland for the summer so that Paige can finally train with other druids and learn more about her people. They also spend a couple weeks in Salem to learn more about Paige’s mom and her maybe witch ancestor. I’ve only got up to where I am now thought out for the series (so the beginning of season 3). But I hope to develop this character a lot more because I absolutely adore this show and Jeff Davis.
Other fun stuff:
I picked Holly Marie Combs to play Paige’s Aunt Claire
Tumblr media
She grew up in Beacon Hills with her brother until he moved away (and ended up meeting his ex-wife). She also grew up with Chris Argent, and the two dated for a while but Chris broke it off after finding out about his family of hunters and that Claire wasn’t technically human. He loved her so much he didn’t want to put her in danger. They do end up together instead of Chris with Melissa.
Next is Adam Quillan, Paige’s dad who was first Ryan Reynold ( and of course I wanted Ryan Reynolds to play him) but now I’m thinking maybe David Boreanaz but I’m still on the fence so if you have any ideas for face claim please let me know.
Tumblr media
Adam works at the station and helps Sheriff Stilinski (who is basically his best friend) in many cases. He also has a huge ass crush on Melissa McCall. When he hears that Melissa went on a date with some guy (Peter) in season 1 he is so mad at himself for never manning up and asking her out. But then directly after Paige tells him it didn’t go well, Adam walks into the hospital (where he volunteers to go talk to people of interest when needed so he can see and talk to Melissa) and asks her out.
They are dating up until he gets killed by the Kanima, letting his last words to his daughter be that he loves her, and to tell his sister, Claire, he loves her too. He then shouts at Stiles to watch out for Paige, and for Scott to make sure his mom makes it out alive. He then says to himself (but Scott, Stiles, Paige, and Matt all hear), “I love her you know? I-I love her and I never got to tell her.”
Tumblr media
I also have an idea for Paige to have an older half-brother that shows up maybe at the beginning or middle of season three.
Tumblr media
His name is Julian Kent, and his mom (who is also Paige’s mom) had him 2 years before she met Adam, making him 7 years older than Paige (basically around Derek’s age). He was put up for adoption, and then when he found out he was adopted at 18, he spent so long looking for his mom and ended up finding out he had a sister 5 years later. He is a witch (or warlock because male witch), and the time he spent looking for his mom, he trained himself in the art of magic.
Speaking of Derek, when Julian shows up, Paige automatically doesn’t trust him. As season 3A continues, and Julian tries to help with Deucalian and the Darach, eventually Paige warms up to him. And slowly, Julian and Derek become friends; even best friends. He even starts to live in the loft with Derek and Peter. Julian is also the partial love interest for Malia (so instead of MaliaxStiles its MaliaxJulian). And then Julian ends up falling in love with Lydia. There is a bit age difference, but I figured that Lydia had that thing for Parish so this would be fine. (also I know I keep picking people from Charmed but that is because I love them and the show).
so yeah, that’s what I have so far for this storyline. I think I’m going to keep the title “In Knots” for the first book and keep it going with that. Let me know what you think, I would love some feedback on this :)

A Pattern of Violent Behavior
I have to admit that I might tend to overreact to fandom nonsense, but it costs me nothing except time and the tediousness of anti-Scotts who approach MAGA levels of malicious memory loss.  One of the drawbacks of my inability to let things go is that sometimes a particular post gets stuck in my head, and it remains there until I exorcise the demons.  This post has reply from a commentator that I can’t get out of my head.
Tumblr media
I’ve already dealt with the idea that Scott is not a hypocrite for having the unfilled and unpursued desire to kill Peter in Season 1.  I’ve dealt numerous times with the idea that Scott failed to kill Gerard, most recently by pointing out that, while dangerous, neither Scott nor any other character regarded it as a failed assassination attempt.   That leaves only the argument “managed to get massive amounts of people killed through my unwillingness to kill actual villains.”
Unfortunately, I have to agree.  Scott didn’t let Derek Hale die and everyone suffered for it.  He had the chance:
Stiles: You know, you probably lost it when you two were fighting. You remember that, when he was trying to kill you, after you interrupted him trying to kill Jackson? Are you starting to see a pattern of violent behavior here?
Scott: He wasn't going to kill anyone. And I'm not letting him die.
Stiles: Could you at least think about letting him die? For me? What?
If only Scott had listened to Stiles!  Since Stiles is always right, his best friend should have recognized that it’s for everyone’s best interest that Derek Hale die at the hands of the Argents.  Imagine how many people’s lives would have been saved!
Jackson would not have bitten, so Coach Lahey, Bennet, Tucker, Sean, Jessica, Kara, four deputies, and Matt would not have died.  Body count: 11
The Alpha Pack would not have come for Scott and/or Derek, which means that the Darach wouldn’t have made an appearance either.  So none of the twelve sacrifices, that unfortunate Ambulance driver, Ennis, Kali, Erica, Boyd, and Jennifer herself wouldn’t have died.   Body Count: 18
With no Alpha Pack/Darach War, the drowning ritual would not have been completed and Stiles wouldn’t have been possessed by the nogitsune.  That means Katashi and his men would still be alive, those two people electrocuted at the hospital, at least one dead deputy dying due to the bomb, the two deputies dying at the police station, and the minimum of four people dying at the hospital, Allison and Aiden.  Body count: 16+
And since Allison didn’t die, Meredith wouldn’t have started the Dead Pool.  That means the Walcotts, DiMarco, Carrie Hutchinson, the ten members of Satomi’s pack, Brunski, the six-plus rogue hunters, the nameless female hospital assassin, the six-plus Cavalveras, and two Berserkers wouldn’t have died.  Body Count: 32+
According to Valack, the Dread Doctors only returned when Scott, Stiles, and Allison reignited the Nemeton, so we can put the nine permanently dead chimeras, the twenty-three dead found in the tunnels, the dozen plus found in the school bus trap, at least one dead teacher, the Dread Doctors themselves, and Sebastian Valet, again.   Body count: 49+
And then there’s the rampage of the Anuk-Ite and Monroe, neither of which would have happened.   That means Deucalion, Aaron, Edgar, the four bodies in the freezer, the Primal Pack, Quinn, the Eichen orderly, all the residents of the Closed Ward, Satomi Ito, Brett, Lori, the rest of the Ito pack, four hunters, Kate Argent, and Gerard Argent.  Body count: 24+
Final Body Count:  145+
All that because Scott wouldn’t let Derek die.  Tsk, tsk, tsk, Shame on you, Scott.  Shame on you.
I think even the most sarcasm-challenged of my audience can get the point of this little exercise.  If, as the commentator argued, Scott was in the wrong for not executing anyone who could be a threat, then he was wrong for not letting Derek Hale die immediately after Scott stopped him from murdering Jackson in Co-Captain (1x10) and only a little bit after Derek betrayed Scott to Peter, regardless of Derek’s oh-so-tragic-backstory, intent to do good, or possibility of growth.  We could easily do the same type of calculus for Peter, Stiles, and Theo.
The only possible counter they have is that things could have gotten worse if Derek was dead.  Leaving aside the fact that Derek was essentially useless in stopping Peter, I’m sure that Scott, Stiles, and the Argents could have figured out a way to stop the evil alpha. Hell, with Scott as a normal alpha, the Alpha Pack has even less reason to come.  What about Scott being an unstable omega?  Scott was an omega for eight months with no sign of instability.  What about Deucalion?  Deucalion didn’t kill anyone after Scott and Derek let him go.   What if Scott had murdered Theo on Stiles’s say-so -- then Lydia, Malia, Stiles, Liam and Hayden would be dead.
Scott recognizes that not only does he not have the ability to tell the future, he doesn’t have the right to try.   He stops characters trying to kill other characters, but he doesn’t base that on what they might do or what they have done, but what they are doing.
Though the bottom line is, people like the commentator wanted Scott to get out of the way of the Hales murdering Jackson and the Argents.  They wanted him to execute the characters they didn’t like -- like Gerard, Deucalion, Jennifer, etc, but they didn’t want him to execute the characters they did like -- such as Derek, Peter, Theo, etc.  There’s no hypocrisy in Scott’s  moral stance, and no one injudiciousness.
I can’t help but wonder if the real world wouldn’t be better off if we all agreed that everyone has a right to life regardless of whether we liked them or not.

Saw that you are currently suffering writer's block (which is the actual worst). Could you tell me more about Daphne McCall? Like her personality or background or role in the series? She already looks awesome and I want to know more.
THANKS FOR ASKING, REI!! Daphne is actually my first oc ever and I just love her so much?? (and yeah, writer’s block is a bitch haha) I’ll put under the cut because it’s hella long.
So, Daphne is Scott’s twin and daughter to Rafael and Melissa. She’s very close to her mom which she considers as her role model, her best friend and can’t imagine a second without her mom in her life. Both of them have a great relationship where Melissa is one of the few who can make Daphne open up. On the other hand Daphne has zero contact with her dad and doesn’t try to be honest. She’s v v v harsh and resentful to him but instead of confronting him and telling her how she feels, she just act like she didn’t care (which spoiler alter, dont, she cares about it v v much but she’s hella stubborn). Her relationship with Scott is pretty great too. He’s her best friend and both of them have honestly the sweetest relationship ever. They just love each other so much and so fiercely protective of each other. But their relationship is put at risk when both of them have a secrets. Scott, to protect Daphne bc he doesn’t want her to be involved in all the supernatural bullshit and her because she doesn’t even understant what happen to her. Her other big relationship is with Stiles. He’s simply her best friend and whereas it’s sweet with Scott, Stiles and Daphne bickers all the time. With the boys, Daphne’s pretty much a more laid-back/warmer/funnier person and is sarcastic as hell. She and Stiles always sass each other, argues a lot but at the same time, they just love each other so much??
For her personality, Daphne is someone very kind and nice but she doesn’t seems like it. Daphne is a very isolated person who doesn’t socialize. All she cares are her family (which include Stiles for her) and her grades, that’s it. She doesn’t try to make new friends cause she’s got a lot of abondment issue and a lack of confidence. She pretty much thinks that people won’t like her becaus she’s not your average teenager or that they’ll end up to leave like her dad. Daphne is a nerd who loves series and books and is hella smart. Like, she’s the second smarter person in school after Lydia but she doesn’t trust it. Daphne is someone caring and with an undying loyalty, she will always be by your side no matter what. She’s very calm and composed, like, she won’t be pissed as easily as Stiles for exemple. But it’s her main problem: Daphne internalize everything. She pretends that everything is okay, will reassure and rather focus on you than her own problem which leave her with a lot of struggles. In fact, Daphne (like pretty much all of my ocs tbh) hates to feel vunerable so speaking of her feeling, open hersel fup ? #h e l l  n o.  With Stiles and Scott, Daphne is someone who bites back because she trust them Over the course of the serie, Daphne gains confidence and is more open to new people. Like, she won’t act like a asshole like she used to (like, trust me, Daphne was a asshole to new people tbh), but it doesn’t mean she won’t trust the person right away. Daphne became more warm, isn’t afraid to speak her mind and even less to take risks anymore. She still struggles a lot, and the supernatural life still hard for her (like, Daphne’s going throught a lot of angst tbh). But she still manage to be kind and supportive, she tries to be her best altought a lot of time, she’ll think of herself as a monster.
For the background, Daphne was raised by her mom mostly, and her dad sudden departure as well his alcholism marked her tbh. She’s got a lot of fear and issues. (like; she’s always afraid to being abandoned or to loose control and end up like her dad). She immediatly repressed her anger and pain because her mom struggled a lot and Daphne didn’t want to be a burden for her. Instead, she just pretended that everything was okay and become responsible soon enough. She helped her mother at home, and found a work early to help paying the bills.
As for her role in the serie, Daphne was at first and still be a guilty pleasure. Her first goal in the season is to understand what happen to her. Like; the night of the pilot, something happen to her and Daphne has no memories, the only thing she has is nightmares and yet, it doesn’t help. Daphne became a kind of hybrid and is without knowing bounded to Peter which gonna be a big problem in s1 and useful in s2. It’s gonna be very hard for especially since it’s gonna cause troubles in the brotp between the  boys and Daphne (but everything honna be okay at the end). At the same time, I’m gonna devellop the relationship between Isaac and Daphne (i just love them) as well her meeting and alliance with Derek. But tbh, most of the time, Daphne will be manipulated by Derek, I think. Like he doesn’t have his interest in heart and doesn’t really care about her at first. Lbr, Daphne will feel like a crazy for a lot of time. The second season is more complicated for her because she’s torn between Scott and Derek. Like, Daphne knows that Derek’s idea are shitty as hell (and there’s gonna be some angst between Isaac and Daphne), especially turning teenagers into werewolf and involving them in their problems. But Derek learns control to Daphne (something she’s struggle with since she’s got a lot of repressed anger/sensible nature) and she can’t give up on this (she’s way to scared for it). But Scott still her twin best friend and she trust him more than anyone in the whole world. The revelation of supernatural to her mother is also something important to Daphne as well with the Argents. Especially Gerard who’s fascinated by Daphne’s hybrid nature and her closeness with Derek. He tried to manipulate her like he did with Allison tbh. The third season is a road for hell to Daphne. Althought she left Derek’s pack, she plays the role of a messenger most of time and still concerned about the Pack’s member. Isaac and her are dating and finally happy (at first haha) and everything is great except that she’s worried as hell for Boyd and Erica. The Alpha Pack is no good news and Deucalion has plans for the McCalls twins. Like, he knows how special Daphne is and how powerful she could be as an Alpha. While the other members of the pack aren’t happy with her because lbr, Daphne hasn’t the bone to be like them for the Alphas and it will be a waste of time. The Darach is also a shitty thing but Daphne’s main focus will be the Alpha. The Nogitsune is also a struggle for D. Like, her Siren nature is very similar to the Nogitsune and she will kinda lost control, I think. Like, Siren’s power are stronger when the person feels anger, hate, revenge which complete with the Nogistune. So I kinda have an idea where darkness and Nogistune attrack Daphne who will shift in her behavior or even being totally under the controls of her Siren side. (a lot fo angst here tbh and suffering). The season 4 is mainly about how Daphne handles grieving and her lost of control/bloodlust after the s3′s disaster. Plus, being heartbroken doesn’t help at all. I think that I might have an ideas where the Benefactor’s list is either a way for Daphne to get revenge on the supernatural creatures, especially the ones who killed people (Oliver’s inspiration over here) to feels less guilty or Daphne trying to attract the hunter’s attention to her because of guilt of everything she dones. (tbh, Daphne will be bad in this season haha). Season Five is I think the lightest season for Daphne?? Like, she’ll get better, especially since it’s her last year meaning that she’ll graduate and going to college and have a break. But the Dread Doctors are also fascinated with Daphne since she’s a natural “Chimera” and they’ll sent Theo to her. (hence, when she was younger, she kinda had a crush on him). To get information but also appealing her to his side. He knows that Daphne might be strong mentally but that she’s got a dark side and want to use it. But also that since if Daphne come to his side, it means that he’ll have a powerful shapeshifter but also that he can have whoever he want in his pack since D and Scott are inseparable. But jokes on him, he starts to develops feelings for Daphne althought their story started as nothing serious. At the end, Daphne stays by Scott althought she felt guilty and is more than ready to kill Scott. The last season is pretty much hell for her because just when she thinks that everything will be okay, shit happens again haha.
As for her relationships, I already talked about Scott and Stiles and her mom and dad. Daphne became bff with Allison but with a very bad start. D is kinda jealous of Allison because she’s afraid to loose Scott to her but at the end, Daphne is just happy for them. Lydia and her also start with the wrong foot but they soon became this strong brotp?? Like she and Daphne connect over what Peter’s done to them and Daphne is totally understand Lydia’s behavior. Instead of thinking of her as the Kanima, she protects her and soon became sister-like. There’s nothing Daphne wouldn’t do for Lydia and Lydia would do anything for Daphne. Also, one of my fave brotp for Daphne is a bit au and is crossover is Kaphne with @madipetsch. Karla and Daphne are cousins and bff and I just love them so much??

You, little human. Part. II – Derek Hale x Reader
Summary: Focused on season 3A of Teen Wolf. I’ll play with the way the pack discovers who Darach is. In this imagine, the Reader is twin sister of Stiles Stilinski, belongs to the same social circle that he, except for the detail that she knows nothing of the supernatural creatures, mainly to protect her. The Reader has a crush on Derek Hale.
Words: 3141
Enjoy it!
Reader’s point of view

The only thing that asked me at the moment, What the hell happened to me? Or how many times did Stiles pass the Jeep over me? It hurt to the last bone in my body. I was between sleep and consciousness, I could hear footsteps around me, whispers but my mind was lost again in that dark forest that accompanied me every night while I slept, or tried. I was on the ground, I couldn’t feel the grass under my hands but when I looked up I met those red eyes again, looked back fiercely as they slowly grew larger. Suddenly, the clouds dissipated and they let the full moon, which, like its luminosity, allowed me to see the owner of those eyepieces. I didn’t say anything when Miss Blake's silhouette formed, but her eyes were no longer red, yet the sharp look was still there as her hands, strangely clawlike, were thrown against my neck.
I didn’t realize I was screaming until a powerful hands held me by the shoulders. I opened my eyes quickly and look every inch of the place where I had finished. We were no longer in high school. I struggled to identify the new site more, however, my eyes clashed with those of Derek, the owner of those hands on my shoulders. I also didn’t realize when I sat in what appeared to be a bed, too comfortable to be the floor or a sofa. I relaxed just a little.
"Are you sure my sister is not ... that thing that is Lydia?"
My glance quickly returned to Stiles's voice, who pretended to scratch his ear. But how heavy, i hadn’t screamed so loudly, had i? Beside he, was Lydia who rolled her eyes and shook her head, then came up to me with a glass of water, I accepted it without knowing what the hell happened after seeing those black veins in Derek's arm.
"What happened?" I asked, looking at the crystalline liquid in the glass.
They were silent for a long time.
"It's a long story," Derek commented, removing his hands from me. My stomach contracted with his touch.
"You can start with ... the thing that you are." I pursed my lips and looked at Stiles who looked more uneasy now. "Miss Blake mentioned something about Scott's pack." I looked at the three who were there with me.
Lydia and Derek exchanged glances.
"Seriously, it's a very long story, little sister." Stiles approached. "Derek is a werewolf ... a bad werewolf." This one looked at him without a smile. "Scott was converted by Derek's uncle who is hanging around, Cora is also a werewolf. Derek became an alpha when he killed Peter, his uncle” Lydia rolled her eyes, again "And I’m  the mastermind behind these puppies "
I tried to assimilate the tangled and confusing information that my brother gave me, i knew him, knew his entanglements and that was almost lousy explaining, but I was left alone to know who were werewolves.
"Derek killed his uncle ... but he's still alive?" I mumbled.
"Long story" Stiles and Derek responded at the same time.
Really? I was beginning to hate that phrase.
"I think that was my fault," Lydia said, pursing her lips.
"Isaac is also a werewolf." I looked nowhere in particular.
"Converted by Derek," my brother said. The man nodded.
I also did it and I began to remember when it was the exact moment when Isaac began to change his attitude, he looked confident but at the same time nervous, also, from one day to another began to look like the typical bad boy, but Is Isaac it? There was nothing left for him. I also remembered the moments when Scott and Stiles looked attentive in his presence, as if they were waiting for him to launch into someone's throat. Then two other people covered my mind.
"If Isaac is a werewolf, then ..." My eyes only stopped at Derek "Erika and Boyd" Only a few days after the death of the latter "They were ..." Der looked down and nodded "They didn’t die in an accident , did they?"
Stiles put a hand on Derek's shoulder, if Isaac was converted by Derek then the other two too, they were his "pack”  I pursed my lips, watching the werewolf's countenance, seemed hurt, restless, suffering, although this last thing I noticed in the day to day of him. I knew his story, it was no joke that of being friends, somehow managed to come to trust me, at least not as much as I thought. There was still the issue that I have been hiding this from since I don’t know how much.
"Why didn’t  you tell me about this?"
"For your protection," Stiles answered. This time I noticed his duller look. "We wanted you to be out of this, to lead a normal life, even if you said it was boring, but at least you were safe"
"Did we want to?"
Stiles looked at Derek, there was the other reason why I keep ignorant.
"I wasn’t so safe considering that Jennifer took me to high school with lies" I bit my lip remembering that little nightmare in the classroom, where I thought it was a simple outburst of jealousy by that mad woman. Then she is also something  "She said that only Stiles was human"  I looked at the redhead  "Lydia?"
"She is something", answered my brother again.
Lydia licked her lips and hesitated.
"I'm a ... banshee"
I looked at her, a what? How many supernatural creatures existed in Beacon Hills? Would a clan of vampires find me? In that case I could have my own vampire movie, except that in this issue, I would probably stay with the werewolf. I shook my head and turned back to my twin.
"Does Dad know about all this?" My brother's eyes went out again, I even noticed that he got moistened, but what? No. My heart started beating in a hurry, not my dad "Stiles?" I trembled, "What happened?"
"We think Jennifer captured him, we don’t know where he is" This time it was Lydia who responded. I felt a lump in my throat.
"And Derek literally slept with the enemy," my brother said.
"Stiles!" Exclaimed Derek. I looked away.
"Then ... you told me these last days that he would be late and left very early in the morning ... never got home, Stiles." My eyes filled with tears. My father, they didn’t know where he was, much less if he was well.
"I wanted to protect you, he didn’t want you to know the truth either"
"God" I hugged my knees and hid my face between them. I was beginning to feel dizzy. It was too much to assimilate, too much to live for, and not only that, my dad was kidnapped and I didn’t even know if he was still breathing or not. How long had Stiles thought I would keep under that deception? At some point I had to realize.
"Stiles" I heard Derek. The rest of them were surely exchanged in silence.
"We're going to wait for Scott." I heard Lydia's voice, then her steps away.
I knew that in the loft, which was where I finally discovered that I was, only Derek and I remained. I was sitting on his bed, honestly, I didn’t expect to end up here like that, not with so much to understand and discover.
"Y/N"
"Why?" I raised my eyes full of tears to him.
"Protection, remember it"
"No, why my father?"
Derek grimaced and put his hand on one of my arms. To say that I was comforted by his touch was a lie, but right now I just had to stay here and listen to everything he had to say, besides, I felt that there was a lot of what he and I had to talk about, and not precisely about the subject Of the werewolves.
"You were dating her, right?" Derek nodded "Oh"
"I didn’t know she was something ... in your unconsciousness, Scott and Stiles told me what they know"
"I don’t worry about that"
Derek shrugged. Yes, I wanted it to be more explicit.
"why her? Der, you know my feelings for you"
"Y/N, I'm much older than you. We can’t"
I went a little closer to him, my inner jumped because at no time he pulled away or stopped me. I smiled halfway.
"Just a few years. Why do you break my heart? "
"It wasn’t my intention." He looked into my eyes. His blue ones fascinated me, I couldn’t stop seeing them once I was with them. "I thought, being with you would put you in more danger. It was better when you didn’t know anything "
"Why?" Would he rather have me in ignorance so as not to deal with my feelings? Now if I'm going to vomit "Would you get rid of me easily?"
He smiled, as he rarely does.
"Not exactly." His hand rose to caress my cheek. I sighed "With you I started to feel less ... alone. You have always been there to listen to me even though I couldn’t tell you everything about me, you conformed to what you knew " I shook my head "Believe me, not a pack of ten werewolves would make me feel less alone, as you have done "
"What does that mean?"
"That I fell in love with you, Y/N, but I couldn’t have you by my side, not with all that entails. As Stiles said, you deserve to live a normal life"
"And boring. I hate that" I complained "But, now I am in your world, you can do nothing, Derek, unless you know to erase the memory"
Another smile ... and a laugh. I also smile. Derek nodded and pressed his lips against mine, how many times had i imagined this? Uncountable, it felt like an eternity to have waited for this moment. His lips against mine, age no longer mattered, nor were we different species, none of that interested me, I was in love with Derek Hale, not the werewolf. But the situation didn’t allow us to arrive at more, I mean, we wouldn’t sit down to see Netflix or we would go through the streets announcing that at last we were together. Knowing certain things now brought new responsibilities and even if they didn’t want it, perhaps i was about to belong to his pack. I could help, somehow.
The loft doors opened with haste we barely allowed and we parted.
"Bad time," my brother exclaimed, looking away. I blushed "And I say it for you, not for us"
"She's on her way, I heard her," Scott said. Derek stood up and helped me do it too.
"I know what to do, go." Stiles and Scott went to hide in a corner. I didn’t see Lydia anywhere "Hide it, you'll be fine"
She? Was Jennifer Blake back? I nodded quickly and ran behind the stairs, because it was night and the dim lighting around us, lent itself to a good hiding place. I only fought the tremors of my body and my breathing. That I knew all this was just scary and then, Derek alone in the middle of the loft without support apparently, I was going crazy, if that woman was something, then it became a danger. For all of us. Suddenly the werewolf moved toward the stairs, Without taking a look to me, hiding in the dark. I held my breath and the temptation to touch him. I hid a little more in the night.
The loft doors opened. My heart pounded a little faster.
"Derek." Her voice pierced my ears. "Derek, where are you?" I spotted her in the middle of the room looking around, for a second I feared she might find me, or my brother and his best friend.
Derek stepped out of the shadows and I had to fight not to jump on him, it was too much for me to see him alone with her and not because she was a supposed rival, but because she was the enemy, my father's alleged kidnapper. I covered my mouth when she hugged him ... and he returned the hug. From where I was alone I could see part of the silhouette of her, because Derek's back covered almost the whole scene.
Jennifer said something that had happened in high school, my attack of course, so I understood. She had never seen Derek in the hallway helping me. She didn’t know that he was already aware of what he had done and that she was the enemy they were looking for. I bit my lip.
She let go of the embrace and looked around, I was afraid she realized that they weren’t the only two in that place. I feared to spoil everything, but her eyes connected again with his.
"I need to tell you something before you hear it for someone else." What? Was she going to confess what she did to me?
"From whom?" I loved the way Derek fooled her. I smiled halfway.
"Scott and Stiles. They are going to tell you things ... things you shouldn’t believe. You have to trust me, you have to trust me"
I looked to one side, where I supposed the other two were hidden. What would they be thinking? Of course the three of them already had a plan I knew nothing about, my collaboration here was to keep myself hidden as a damsel in distress. Awful.
"What is it?"
"Promise me to listen to me." I rolled my eyes, how could anyone be so fake?
"I promise." My heart skipped a beat just to hear those words.
But what almost made me scream is when she kissed him. I couldn’t see if it was matched or not but I had to cling to one of the edges of the stairs to avoid ruining the whole plan. So I just swallowed the lump in my throat and waited there, full of impotence. Then the kiss was over and she walked away with a different face.
"They're here, aren’t they?" Her voice had deepened. Hell, she'd discovered the plan, though i didn’t know exactly what it was.
I heard footsteps, I went a little closer to them without getting out of the darkness that protected me. I got to see Scott and Stiles, the latter seemed to have tears on his cheeks. I knew what he was thinking and soon the tears also reached my eyes.
"We told her that you're the only one killing people," Scott exclaimed.
Jennifer turned and smiled, just as she had smiled when she cornered me in the classroom.
"Oh true, human sacrifices cutting their throats," she said sarcastically. "Yes, I probably did it on my lunch break, considering the rest of my time was spent in a classroom teaching you English. That makes a lot of sense!
I rolled my eyes.
Where is my dad?
"Where's my dad?" I thought about it and my brother said it. More tears came from my eyes.
"How should I know?" She turned to Derek. "Tell me you don’t believe in this." Again the honeyed tone.
The silence that made me terrified, why Derek didn’t respond? Why didn’t he tell her that he didn’t trust her? Was he hesitating? I hated not being able to see his countenance.
"Do you know what happened to Stiles's father?" He replied in response.
I closed my eyes, I would have liked to know where my dad was, and whether he was right or not. I would have liked myself to have Jennifer talk, she couldn’t mess with my family, I couldn’t lose my father, I couldn’t stand it. I heard voices, as they continued to argue, as she tried to become the martyr, I heard the mention of Lydia, so she did something to her too. I sighed. I was beginning to get dizzy, I needed to know already that my father was perfectly well.
"... And one that they can’t prove, by the way" I returned to the present.
Jennifer was looking at my friends with threats. Did she seriously plan on remaining the innocent and victim of this? He had bruises that proved the opposite.
"What if we can?" I looked at Scott, holding a jar in front of him.
"What is that?" Jennifer asked, as did my mind.
Scott explained that it was a powder she could use, that his boss had given him ... Deaton? Did he also know about this? And that same dust could be used against her.
"Mistletoe?"
She barely gave time to ask when Scott threw that powder at her. Derek stepped back to allow me a clear vision of the woman who in seconds became something I had to cover my mouth to avoid shouting, But what the hell was that? Then she returned to the human form. I slammed my back against the ladder. Jennifer looked at Derek for a few seconds before attempting to escape but he caught her. I let out a gasp, Stiles and Scott took a step forward.
"Wait, Derek, you need me." I heard Jennifer. "I'm the only one who can save your sister. Call Peter. "Derek obeyed but I couldn’t hear what he was talking about with this Peter, his voice was too low for the distance I was in. I started to shake, what if he killed Jennifer?
"Derek, what are you doing?" Scott sounded terrified.
"Her life is in my hands!" She groaned.
I noticed Derek lifting her, making the grip even harder.
"Stop, Derek, stop." I heard Stiles.
That was the moment I decided to leave. I bumped into Derek's back and rested my hands there, he realized but it didn’t help.
"She knows where my father is ... please, Derek ... stop." He didn’t loosen his hand. I stood beside him and placed mine on his arm.
"You’ll never find Stilinski." She gasped.
"Please" I begged in a broken voice "I can’t lose my father"
"Derek," Scott and I exclaimed in unison.
Derek let go of Jennifer who collapsed on the floor and pulled me out of the way. I started crying with my hands on my chest, all this was worse than my nightmare, I preferred to be in there instead of this place.
Jennifer started laughing and looked at us all, finishing her eyes on me.
"It's true, you need me" She looked back at Derek and then at my friends "You all need me" He turned her eyes to mine "And you too, little human"
"Go!" Exclaimed Derek. "We'll find us there”
I was only aware when Scott took Jennifer's arm, after which I was caught by Derek's arms and chest.

Hello Nyxie, I just wanted to drop by and tell you that you are an awesome person and don't deserve hate that you get. Also wanted to ask you about how do you think TW will end? Many TW meta people have predicted the end but they are mostly anti-Scott and make bizarre predictions, I just wanted you ask you, as you mostly keep Scott's character true to his and make meta's unlike other people who will not be named. (Also sorry for my english, I'm not a native english speaker) Thank You. 😊😊😊
Hey, anon - thank you so much! ♥ And I'm so sorry for taking so long to get back to you sooner. I've been a bit bogged down, lately.
Anyway, I'm going to say right now speculation ahead of time is really not my thing, so I don't have that much insight to offer. What I do have...
Firstly, I've seen a lot of meta - from Tumblr and from elsewhere - jumping to some pretty insane conclusions in their speculation. So I'm going to say that for the most part, I'm relying only on the previews, and on Davis' actual comments and interviews about the show...which really isn't much to work with.
Davis describes the 6B finale as basically an Eldritch abomination. But the sneak previews so far have been about Hunters showing up and coming after the pack.
Normally, I might suggest that this will end in an Aesop about humans being the real monsters or the real ultimate monsters...except that's been one of the central themes of the show since the very beginning, when Kate was the one who murdered innocent people in cold blood for no reason (whereas most of Peter's victims were not innocent and every kill furthered his agenda in one capacity or another). The real villains in Season 2 were both also humans (Matt and Gerard), the Darach used to be human, and many (if not most) of the assassins from Season 4 were humans, too.
Now, that said, Teen Wolf's narrative formula at the seasonal story level is always a 2-villain one. Every season starts with one threat while hinting at another one - only for the hinted threat to turn out to be bigger than the immediate threat. So if the "H.P. Lovecraft inspired monster" is a separate villain/antagonist from the Hunters, then most likely, the Hunters will seem to be the immediate threat, only for it to turn out to be someone or something else.
This is further supported by the combination of Davis' comments about the emotional narrative of the series finale, and the preview for Ep. 611 in particular (in conjuction with the overall 6A preview). Davis remarked that the OG pack are about to leave college, when something happens to "pull" them back (or hold them back). He describes the conflict as being a question about whether or not Scott can really leave the town for a bit, while also claiming that the story is about "the outsider" (though this was said in relation to Theo).
Now, the extended preview of 6B seems to be Scott having some flashbacks about the Argents while out in the woods with Malia and Lydia, and the three of them trying to figure out who'd shot a specific bullet. The 611 episode preview seems to show a moment just after/extending from that scene. So it looks like the season is going to start with someone or something getting shot, and the bullet/the shot somehow making the teens suspicious of Hunters, possibly even/especially Chris Argent. This will, based on all the previous seasons, take up the teens' attention for some time until a bigger threat (the "disgusting" monster that Davis seems to be looking forward to) surfaces.
Davis also mentioned that we're going to be seeing some familiar faces...but, he also kept saying Season 5 would have stuff that it never did and never seemed to indicate was ever planned for or in the works, so I'm hesitant to trust his worn on anything.
I have pretty low expectations of the final season, to be honest. Davis has no real grasp of contrast - i.e. he comments that he hates the "cliches" of high school moments or scenes because "they have no tension". What he fails to realize is that they're not supposed to - they are supposed to create moments of calm and peace that can then be threatened or broken by the actual, plotted tension. He's really great at writing emotional darkness...and nearly useless at telling any other kind of story outside of that. Based on the interviews, he's almost proud of how emotional-but-otherwise-nonsensical 6A was. He often throws things in just for the hell of it even when it adds nothing to the plot and when it's nonsensical enough to even detract from it.
Meanwhile, he apparently can't think of stories for characters of color that don't interest him, but he has no problem beating dead horses into the ground, such as "Malia's relationship with Peter" - one which she clearly does not want and has no interest in, having chosen her last name to be Tate and calling Mr. Tate her dad and calling her adoptive mother and sister her family. (Even all the way back in Season 2, Davis strove for cheap adoption drama, and for some reason he can't let it go. Combined with the prevalence of shitty or abusive fathers in his writing...Davis' daddy issues are showing and that man really needs family therapy, stat. Or he's fine, but only really knows one or two formulae to generate family drama and has no idea how to work outside of those.)
I digress.
The emotional question seems to be about whether or not Scott, the town's (in Stiles' own words) sworn protector, can really leave it behind. Is this in the pragmatic sense of, Can Scott afford to leave the town's safety in the hands of the parents and the Next Gen pack? Or, is it the more abstract sense of whether Scott can leave supernatural trauma behind to pursue his dreams? Or both?
Davis says he's not a big fan of high school cliches, so he may very well end the story with "Scott has to abandon his dreams to stay in town to protect it" to be edgy. I hope not, but I wouldn't be all that surprised either way.
Conversely, though - the Argent family nutjobs have been at the root of almost all the villains and problems of Teen Wolf thus far. In Seasons 1, 2, and 4, the main villains were Hunters, the villains of 3A only existed because of a psychotic Argent Hunter (everything going back to Gerard turning on Deucalion in the past), and in Season 5, Marcel was trying to bring back his best friend, an Argent ancestor. The villains of 3B and 6A have so far been the only ones to not be resulting from or connected to the Argent family nutjobs in some manner. (Those were also the seasons where the Good Argents shone the most - Allison stepping up to the plate as a leader until she died in the 'line of duty' in 3B, and Chris dedicating so much time and energy to protecting the pack and even bonding with the mother of an alpha werewolf in 6A).
So it could very well be that some distant remnants of the Argent family, or other Hunters besides, are more directly connected to the Eldritch abomination - or may even be trying and failing to use it. Or, much like even the most monstrous forms started out looking human (i.e. La Bete stemming from Mason and Sebastian), it could be that the monster is looking lik Hunters, or somehow 'hiding' behind/being masked by Hunters.
I'd say "we'll see", but 6B is supposed to be getting promoted or even aired by now, and the fact that it's not is worrisome...

The many times Jeff Davis has stolen from Sterek & The Sterek Fandom:
1. The “I missed you” scene:
Back in 2013, Dylan told us that he pitched an idea to Jeff Davis about a future Sterek scene, specifically for the fans, that would take place after the whole Alpha Pack situation was done and over. The scene he pitched detailed a moment where Stiles and Derek take a moment after all of the drama, where Stiles says, “I missed you” to Derek, after an entire season of not having that much interaction with him.
“There aren’t any Stereky scenes so far, but I had an idea for Jeff, that when we do finally meet, and if we have a scene that’s very expositional—like if we come together and something’s going on we have to converge and discuss something—then we should kind of stop at the end of it and before we walk away, Stiles should just say, ‘I missed you.’ Just to acknowledge it for the fans in little, funny ways.” [source]
Well, Jeff Davis refused to go with that idea for Sterek, but he must have thought it was a good idea, because in episode 304, he rewrote Dylan’s idea into a scene between Danny & Ethan (Dethan). Apparently, the scene would have been too much for Sterek, and was only acceptable for the show’s token gay couple.

2. Punching Bag:
Back in 2014 at AlphaCon, during the Hobrien panel, Hoechlin explained that he too had pitched a Sterek scene to Jeff Davis. The scene that Hoechlin pitched involved Derek allowing Stiles to punch out his emotions regarding his father being kidnapped, and to be that momentary punching bag, because Derek understands what it means to release anger, and since he’s a werewolf, he would be able to heal afterwards.
“There is a scene that I always wanted with Derek and Stiles, that we never did. [...] I always saw a scene at one point, there was a time in the show where [Sheriff] Stilinski was very much in danger and [Stiles] was always really worried about him. And I kind of always envisioned this scene once [Sheriff] gets taken by the Darach in season 3, I was imagining in a future season, or even in that season, that Stiles would really freak out because that’s his dad. That’s the time you really see Stiles lose it. [...] I really, really wanted a scene where it was Derek and Stiles in the jeep, going out and trying to find [Sheriff], and Derek’s always the one that dealt with his anger--that’s been a huge part of him, and he really understands that. And I thought it would be really great to have a scene where Stiles is so upset and so anger about what’s going on, that he needs to get that anger out. And Derek would basically let [Stiles] beat the crap out of him, and let [Stiles] hit him over and over again, to be that punching bag because Derek’s a werewolf and he can heal and he can take it. I thought it was a really great scene where [Derek’s] just like, ‘it’s okay, it’s okay, it’s okay’ [...].”
and then Dylan chimes in with:
“It would be a really sweet moment between the two characters. I’m serious, too. Like, in a really cool way like that. [...] Eventually, Stiles is all exhausted with the motion and then eventually, like, y’know, [Derek] puts the hand on the shoulder.”
Although, just like the other Sterek scenes that Dylan & Hoechlin pitched to Jeff Davis, they never made it on-screen. However, Jeff reworked the idea into a scene between Stiles & Scott in S5 following Sheriff Stilinski’s hospitalization. Albeit...the sentiment didn’t actually transfer from script to screen. In Jeff’s version of the scene, it’s not heartfelt. Rather, Stiles’ wrath is directed towards Scott for his insolence. Not because Scott understand Stiles’ feelings.
Tumblr media
But here’s Posey’s quote regarding the scene:
You definitely see a different side of Scott and Stiles. Now you see them getting physical. Scott lets Stiles kick his ass a little bit because he can take it. [source]

3. Stiles/Cora:
Of course, it’s always something to look at when a gay pairing doesn’t happen, yet a heterosexual with the same dynamic as the gay pairing ends up getting put into the works. In this instance, Jeff Davis thought he was slick when he brought Cora (Derek’s mysterious younger sister) into the show and immediate worked to make Stiles/Cora romantically involved.
Basically, Cora was the female-version of Derek. She’s his relative, has the same tragic backstory, has the same grumpy personality, shares similar scenes with Stiles, and even wears the same kinds of clothing as Derek. The only difference was that Derek is male & Cora is female.
So, it shouldn’t have been a surprise that whilst Jeff Davis & the show baited for years about Stiles & Derek becoming romantically involved, Jeff decided to plan for Cora to be the one to take Stiles’ virginity in S3. In fact, Adelaide Cane--the actress that played Cora--confirmed at EYECON that Cora was supposed to “pop Stiles’ v-card”. [tweet] [tweet] [post]

4. Derek/Jennifer:
Jeff Davis has actually pushed out a couple heterosexual versions of Sterek. Including: Stiles/Erica (originally planned), Stiles/Cora, Stiles/Malia. Even Derek/Paige--a sassy brunette with beauty marks, who didn’t take Derek’s bullshit, and coincidentally had a last name that derived partly from the Polish language....interesting.
Especially since we know that Stiles is a sassy brunette with beauty marks, who didn’t take Derek’s bullshit, and had a first name that derived from the Polish language.
But in S3A, Jeff Davis took multiple Sterek scenes and rewrote them into the Derek/Jennifer relationship. The parallels are glaringly obvious. Long ago, I actually made a post with side-by-side comparisons. There’s also a video showing the scenes to provide you with a better understanding about purposeful parallels.
[Editor’s note]: Sorry, guys. I originally posted a link to the video that showed the parallels between original Sterek scenes & what Jeff rewrote to fit his Derek/Jennifer narrative.
Unfortunately, the creator of the video saw the post and made her video private so you guys couldn’t watch it. If you’re asking why, I don’t really know for certain. She used to actually be very active in bringing attention to the terrible way that Sterek shippers were treated, but she recently turned Pro-TW and has gotten somewhat salty towards me & other anti-TW bloggers.
Instead, I’ve decided to just show you the parallels I posted about years ago.

5. Everybody forgets Stiles:
This is actually the current plot of S6A, although if you’re a Sterek fan, then you might recognize the story from a fanfiction that was published back in 2014. The fanfiction is titled, “Tabula Rasa”, and it’s an amnesia fic with Sterek presented as the main relationship throughout.
It seems hardly coincidental that the current season of Teen Wolf revolves around Stiles being forgotten, with blank spaces of his existence left behind in the minds of people he knew. The biggest difference in Jeff Davis’ “Sterek-less” reiteration of this 2 year old fanfiction, is that the whole thing is set up to promote Stydia (Stiles/Lydia), with Lydia being the only one to actually remember that Stiles existed.

6.  Mieczyslaw “Stiles” Stilinski:
Everybody forgetting Stiles wasn’t the only thing that Jeff took from Sterek fanfiction. In the most recent episode of Teen Wolf’s 6th season, and after 6 years of not knowing Stiles’ real name, we find out that his first name is actually Mieczyslaw.
The only problem is that Mieczyslaw has actually been used as a headcanon first name for Stiles Stilinski in Sterek fanfiction for years and years, dating back to at least 2015 2012. Now, Mieczyslaw certainly isn’t a common name, and it’s definitely not one of the most common Polish names. So, why did Jeff Davis pick this name of all others? Pretty suspect.
[Editor’s note: New receipts for just how long this name has been used in Sterek Fanfiction]
[Mieczyslaw used in fanfic before Jeff put it into the show.]

And there you have it. Well...you have some of it. We’re not really going to touch base on some of the other familiar Sterek related things that have magically found their way into the actual show. *ahem*
De-aged!Derek
Werefoxes (kitsunes), especially with Stiles being one (Nogitsune).
Dark!stiles
Stiles’ main weapon being a baseball bat.
The suspiciously familiar dynamic between Theo/Stiles.
Stiles’ jeep originally being his mother’s.
Just saying.

Stiles was the alpha, yes it surprised him too...But he was quite busy right now with a were-Kate with a bullet through her head, a traumatized sourwolf chained up in her basement, and a lot of confused werewolves to reassure. So, as you can see, there really wasn't any time to think about it.

Otherwise known as 'the alphas made me do it'. A throw-back to the events of season 3A, breaking off from the canon at the beginning of 3B. Derek’s dealings with the alphas doesn’t go quite as smoothly as expected, and Stiles’ finds himself in a tight spot. This is character and relationship exploration in its purest form, with a healthy slab of drama and a sprinkling of crack. Indefinite hiatus

After the whole kanima deal the pack hopes to relax. Sadly, this is Beacon Hills, so that doesn't happen.
There are a rash of attempted sacrifices, all found in the nick of time by Lydia. She and Stiles start checking things out, leading to the discovery of the darach and the realization that Stiles is the perfect sacrifice - all in time for him to be captured.
Things from there just all go downhill in Stiles' humble opinion. Though, admittedly, he's a little emotionally compromised and more than a little pissed off at everybody right now.
