ASL Modern Au Post
Grand Line Crew Modern Au
Friends We Made Along The way post
Friends We Made Along The Way Part 2 post
Additional Headcanons:
Nami needs her own episode on extreme couponers. Sis has an entire binder dedicated to it.
Zoro cannot for the life of him beat Luffy in an arm wrestling match. No matter how much he lifts or trains, he always loses.
Zoro is actually pretty good at grilling. Sanji was pleasantly surprised when the burger that was presented to him wasnt a pile of ash/ so raw its still walking around. One day the two will have a grill off.
Usopp and Luffy love playing yugioh with eachother. Neither of them actually know the rules of the game, they just make it up as they go.
Nami used to collect american girl dolls and she keeps them in a closet in her apartment. One day when usopp luffy and chopper were snooping around, they found the accursed closet and were scared shitless.
Usopp has an ant farm and luffy thinks its the coolest shit.
In this modern au, sanji takes the place of that one guy on tiktok who makes duets with cooking videos, and films until they put the entire block of cream cheese in the crock pot.
Sanji is also this guy
Even though nami has scary dog privilege when walking with zoro, its not just beneficial to her. In fact nami has outlawed zoro from going on walks in general alone, as he would get lost and need nami to walk to him to direct him home. Nami has scary dog privilege and zoro has sense of direction privilege when they walk together
Sanji and Nami rewatch Pretty Little Liars/ Gossip Girl/ Glee/ and other CW drama shows together.
Nami and Usopp always be shit talking someone/something. They are hateful bitches.
How luffy meets each of them:
Zoro- they met each other because the 24 hr gym Zoro works in is right down the street from Luffy’s apartment and one day Luffy was walking by at around 3 am and noticed Zoro in there. Luffy asks him if he wants to join him fucking around at 3 am on the streets of this city area they live in and Zoro accepts after a little convincing from Luffy. When they get outside Zoro’s like
“where’s the rest?”
“Of what?”
“Of your friends”
“Its just you rn”
“… :| i mean, i had assumed you werent alone”
“Nope!”
“HA OkAy”
Nami- they took the same economics course together. They were paired up in a project and hit it off after that and often had study sessions together. Their defining friendship maker though, was they teamed up to steal the answer key to the test they were both definitely going to fail because the class was bullshit.
Usopp- they had taken a graphic design course together. Luffy had no idea what he was doing the entire time and Usopp was very happy that he could impart his wisdom uponst this newcomer to the arts. Although luffy did already have some… incredible(?) art skills of his own already. It was instant chemistry for them honestly, their synergy just clicked and before they knew it, they were besties.
Sanji- works in the restaurant thats underneath the ASL brothers’ apartment complex. Their fist encounter with the restaurant was not of them going in to eat there, though. The trio were throwing around the ol’ pig skin in the street in front of their complex when luffy failed to catch the ball, and accidentally ricocheted it into the front window of the Baratie, through the eating area, over the counter, and into Mr. Zeff’s face. Zeff stormed out of the eatery and asked which of them destroyed his glass and hit him in the head
Tumblr media
And luffy looks over and notices his brothers selling him out and is like “HEY!!! D:” So luffy was stationed as the place’s chore boy and met sanji while working there. 2 years later the debt was repayed, sanji and luffy are friends, and the Baratie is ASL’s fav eating place due to the great food, delightfully violent vibes, and great company.
thats all for now, hope you enjoyed!

American painter Rae Klein (b. 1995) graduated in 2017 with a BFA in Painting from Eastern Michigan University. She continues to live and work in Michigan.
"When Klein was young, she liked drawing, but didn’t make anything of it. The idea of living as a working artist was a dream with no roadmap. Her father was a heavy equipment operator for Holland, a small city on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan, who would plow the snow off the roads in the difficult Midwest winters. Her mother is an administrative assistant at a company that makes test chambers. When Klein graduated high school, she decided to study nursing at Eastern Michigan University, even as she sensed it wouldn’t work out.
“I was in nursing 101 and looking around at all these people, and I was thinking like, these people are going to be really good at this. And I’m starting to feel like maybe I’m not,” Klein told ARTnews the day before her exhibition at Silverman, titled “The Comfort in Calamity,” opened.
Just after starting college, she began working as an illustrator for campus dining, which included such tasks as drawing the school mascot eating a grilled cheese. The experience opened her eyes to the idea that art could be a legitimate career path, so she enrolled in an art class.
“That was my first experience with painting and it was such a weight off my shoulders to be like, Okay, maybe this is a real thing,” said Klein."

Awesome Sauce: Bun Length Hot Dog Water Seltzer (Martin House) "The 5.2% ABV hard seltzer, called Awesome Sauce: Bun Length, was created with 52 pounds of water previously used to boil frankfurters... Martin House Brewing Company will unveil its questionable creation at Glizzy Fest, a five-hour "Celebration of Hotdogs" that will take place at the brewery on July 16."
Nightmare King (Burger King) "Can a burger give you nightmares? That’s what the Burger King® brand set out to prove with an unusual research study on its latest Halloween burger, the Nightmare King. This spooky sandwich features ¼ lb* of savory flame-grilled beef, a 100% white meat crispy chicken fillet, melted American cheese, thick cut bacon, creamy mayonnaise, and onions all assembled on a glazed green sesame seed bun."
As though messing up your physical body wasn't enough, this one is trying to hurt you with meat so bad that it screws with your brain. If ever there was a reminder that we're all just meat, briefly electrified, this would be it.

LUCY’S DINING GUIDE
The Restaurants & Eateries of the Lucyverse ~ Part 1
Tumblr media
Eating out brought Lucy to a wide variety of dining spots: Sit down restaurants, diners, cafés and lunch counters are all here - in Lucy’s Dining Guide!
Tumblr media
The Corner Drugstore ~ “Fred and Ethel Fight” (1952) /  “The Gossip” (1952) / “Redecorating” (1952)
Drugstores of the time frequently had lunch counters serving light fare such as ice cream sodas, milk shakes, egg creams, pies, and coffee.
Tumblr media
In “Fred and Ethel Fight” Ricky orders a peanut butter and jelly sandwich while  Fred orders a grape juice.
Tumblr media
The drugstore is seen again in “The Gossip” Fred drinks coffee and Ricky just reads the newspaper. In “Redecorating” Fred orders a double malted from soda jerk Hazel.
Tumblr media
Jubilee Club aka The Roof Garden ~ “Lucy Changes Her Mind” (1953)
The restaurant specializes in steaks, roast beef, and chops (”Pork chops, huh?”) as well as...
Tumblr media
...breadsticks!  Lucy not only can’t decide where to sit, but what to order.
Tumblr media
WAITER: “Now, let's see if I've got this straight. Lamb chops for you, sirloin steak for you, pork chops for you, pork chops for you, and a new eraser for me.”
Tumblr media
Corner Coffee Shop ~ “Lucy and Fred Are TV Fans” (1953)
Lucy and Ethel duck into a corner coffee shop to make a phone call. The special of the day is Franks & Potato Salad and Tomato Soup.
Tumblr media
The menu board says they serve such diner fare as waffles, corned beef, French dip, Pork & Beans, plate lunch, toasted cheese, pie, and cake. They serve a variety of  sandwiches: Roast Beef, Ham & Cheese, Grilled Cheese, and Ham & Lettuce. Don’t forget cigarettes!
Tumblr media
French Restaurant ~ “The French Revue” (1953)
Since nobody speaks fluent French, they all end up bluffing and stalling, finally requesting four orders of “closed on Sundays.” The only English on the menu is ‘Acme Printing Company’ (a Union shop, according to Fred).
WAITER: "La specialite de la maison: un petit roti, des petits pois,"
Translation: "The specials of the house are small roast meats, peas, and some sort of fried potatoes."
Tumblr media
Italian Restaurant on 39th Street near 8th Avenue ~ “Equal Rights” (1953)
Ricky and Fred order meatballs, spaghetti, pizza, and coffee, with Fred ordering a green salad as well. Lucy and Ethel order steaks with spaghetti on the side. Lucy wants hers medium rare; Ethel orders hers well done. Ricky and Fred shave at the table to teach the girls a lesson about equal rights.
WAITER: “Something more for you? More coffee, dessert ... after-shave lotion?”
Tumblr media
When Lucy and Ethel can’t pay their half of the bill, they are forced to wash dishes, giving viewers a look at the restaurant’s kitchen.
Tumblr media
Bill’s Place / Little Bit of Cuba / Big Hunk of America ~ “The Diner” (1954)
The gang purchase a neighborhood diner but can’t agree on how to run it.
Tumblr media
The Little Bit of Cuba special is a hamburger patty smothered in Tabasco sauce and mashed banana between two tortillas.
RICKY: “We're gonna have arroz con pollo, frijoles, paella, everything.”
Tumblr media
Big Hunk of America serves up hamburgers, coffee, hot dogs, hotcakes, and of course pie!
Fred shares some diner lingo.
“Adam and Eve on a raft - wreck 'em!” (scrambled eggs on toast)
“Walk a cow past the stove and don’t cry over it!” (a rare hamburger without onions) or - as Ricky interprets it - “Bring the bull in the ring and laugh in its face!”
“There’s a gambler in the house!” (hash)
“The Diner” and the “The Black Wig” (see below) had their filming and broadcast order switched so that set for Bill’s Diner ended up becoming the set for Tony’s Restaurant. The wooden ice boxes were used in both sets, as well as in “Equal Rights” (see above).
Tumblr media
Tony’s ~ “The Black Wig” (1954)
When Ricky doesn’t recognize Lucy with her new wig, she arranges a date with him at Tony’s, a small Italian eatery, bringing along a disguised Ethel as a date for Fred. The telltale signs of Italian American cuisine are the checkered tablecloths, breadsticks and chianti bottles. The waiter at Tony’s is played by Louis A. Nicoletti.
Tumblr media
One Oak Cafe ~ “First Stop” (1955)
Driving through Ohio on the way to Hollywood, the gang are famished and forced to stop at One Oak Cafe. Their outdated menu offers such mouth-watering fare as steak sandwiches with French fries and coleslaw, roast beef with baked potato, and fried chicken with biscuits.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately for the foursome, all he has are stale Swiss cheese sandwiches wrapped in wax paper, which he buys from a salesman when he comes around.
Tumblr media
The Hollywood Brown Derby ~ “L.A. at Last!” (1955)
The real-life Hollywood Brown Derby was founded by Wilson Mizner in 1926 on Wilshire Boulevard. Its distinctive exterior resembled a large brown derby to attract tourists and passing motorists. A second location on North Vine Street (not shaped like a derby) was opened in 1929. Due to its proximity to movie studios, it became the place to do deals and be seen. Clark Gable is said to have proposed to Carole Lombard there and rival gossip columnists Louella Parsons and Hedda Hopper were regular patrons. Its walls were decorated with hundreds of celebrity caricatures all drawn by resident artist Jack Lane. They are faithfully reproduced on the “I Love Lucy” stage as are their distinctive derby-shaped wall sconces. The restaurant was destroyed by fire in 1987 but was licensed to the Walt Disney theme parks where you can still enjoy the original Cobb salad.
Tumblr media
William Holden orders a Cobb salad and coffee. The Hollywood Brown Derby is the ‘birthplace’ of the Cobb Salad, which was said to have been hastily arranged from leftovers by owner Robert Cobb for theater owner Sid Grauman. One story says that it was a chopped salad because Grauman had just had dental work done, and couldn’t chew well!
Tumblr media
Lucy and Ethel order spaghetti and meatballs. Fred orders the veal cutlet Marco Polo. In the original script he ordered the turkey Marco Polo, simply because it was the most expensive item on the menu, but the line was cut. Lucy gets spaghetti and meatballs with extra meat sauce, which was a specialty of the house according the the 1949 Brown Derby cookbook. Lucy also orders a tossed salad from the menu which the waiter explains is a mixed green salad with an oil dressing.
Tumblr media
The City of Los Angeles Domeliner Dining Car ~ “The Great Train Robbery” (1955)
On the way back to New York, the gang takes the brand new Union Pacific Domeliner, which has a dining car with a view. Vivian Vance and William Frawley were sent to the actual train to film location footage, but it was cut before the episode aired due to problems matching the sequence of events with the studio footage.
ETHEL: “I heard they had wonderful food on this train and I want to get in there before it's all gone.”
Tumblr media
The food served, however, shows up on their wardrobe!
Tumblr media
La Porte Montmartre Café ~ “Paris at Last” (1956)
In Paris, the gang enjoys sidewalk cafés in all three episodes.
Tumblr media
At La Porte Montmartre Lucy orders Escargot Bourgogne (aka snails) and - much to the chagrin of the chef - covers them with sauce tomate (aka catsup).
Tumblr media
Café Du Monde ~ “Lucy Meets Charles Boyer” (1956)
ETHEL: “Oh, boy, this is good French pastry!”
Tumblr media
Café Restaurant Le Plaisir ~ “Lucy Gets a Paris Gown” (1956)
The sidewalk café provides a perfect viewpoint for viewing Jacques Marcel’s models parade down the sidewalk after a fashion show.
Tumblr media
Martinelli’s Pizza ~ “Visitor from Italy” (1956)
To keep Mario from being deported, Lucy must substitute for him as a pizza chef.
Tumblr media
Hansen’s Café ~ “Off To Florida” (1956)
When Lucy and Ethel share a ride to Florida with a suspected hatchet murderess (Elsa Lanchester), they make a pitstop at a roadside cafe.
Tumblr media
They want more than coffee - they want HELP!
Tumblr media
Meeghan’s Chop House ~ “Lucy’s Night in Town” (1957)
Before the theatre, the gang goes to dinner. Lucy and Ethel order roast beef (medium) with mashed potatoes and Lima beans.
Tumblr media
LUCY: “Everyone should chew their food 25 times before swallowing, just like the animals do, because hot food is bad for the stomach. You also should peel Lima beans to get the most out of them because the nutrients lie underneath the upper epidermis.”
Tumblr media
The Westport Country Club ~ “Country Club Dance” (1957)
Tumblr media
It’s strictly buffet fare when Grace Munson introduces her beautiful young cousin Diana Jordan (Barbara Eden).
Tumblr media
Snow Valley Lodge Café ~ “Lucy Goes to Snow Valley”
Tumblr media
When Lucy is photo-bombing Fernando Lamas by taking over for the waitress, she douses his sandwich with coffee.
HONORABLE MENTIONS
Tumblr media
Schraft’s ~ The famous ‘ladies who lunch’ spot was mentioned in “Lucy Does the Tango” (1957) and “Housewarming” (1957).
LUCY: “Well, I thought it'd be fun to have a fancy girl-type luncheon, you know, like we used to have at Schraft’s in New York.”
21 ~ Manhattan’s iconic nightspot and restaurant was mentioned in “Vacation from Marriage” (1954), “Mr. and Mrs. TV Show” (1954), “Lucy Wants a Career” (1959), and “Lucy Goes Duck Hunting” (1963).
ETHEL: “We’ve been to 21 four times. That’s 84!”
Romanoff's ~ was mentioned in “The Tour” (1955). The episode opens with Lucy begging Ricky to let her accompany him to Romanoff’s for lunch with Richard Widmark. Romanoff’s became known for their chocolate soufflés, strawberries Romanoff and Noodles Romanoff.
LUCY: “I'll be as quiet as a mouse. I won't eat very much, just a little piece of cheese. I'll even pick up the check for the whole lunch.”
Lindy's ~ a Manhattan deli and restaurant first opened in 1921 by Leo "Lindy" Lindermann was famous for it's New York style cheesecake and sandwiches named in honor of celebrities. Ricky takes everyone to Lindy’s when he hears about getting the part in Don Juan during “Ricky’s Contract” (1954) and then again in “Milton Berle Hides Out at the Ricardos” (1959).
BERLE: “Lindy promised to name a sandwich after me if I gave up my table by the door.”
Tumblr media
The Golden Drumstick ~ In “First Stop” Mr. Skinner tells the gang about  a restaurant down the road that serves a turkey dinner with all the trimmings - dressing, cranberry sauce, green salad, and homemade peach shortcake - for only one dollar! But then dashes their hopes by telling them that they went out of business due to the low price.
Don’s Beachcomber ~ In “Lucy Goes to Grauman’s” (1956), Lucy takes stock of her souvenir haul, including chopsticks from the Beachcomber, a South Seas meets Cantonese style menu that exceeded the menu of most standard Chinese restaurants in Los Angeles at the time.
SEEN BUT NOT HEARD
Tumblr media
Restaurant au Mont Cenis ~ While Lucy and Ricky lived in their first apartment (Seasons 1 & 2) a painting by Maurice Utrillo “Restaurant au Mont Cenis” (1922) was hung prominently on the back wall of the living room above the piano, or the desk.
Tumblr media
The actual print was gifted to Lucille’s costume designer Elois Jennsen and auctioned off upon her death.

National Banana Lovers Day
Today we celebrate the banana—the most popular fruit in the United  States and around the world. The average person eats about 100 of them a  year, which comes out to about 25 to 33 pounds worth. They are the  cheapest fruit and are also one of the most perishable. They may appear  to grow on trees, but they actually grow on plants that have 10 to 20  feet high trunks. The banana plant is an herb—the largest herb plant,  actually—and bananas are its fruit. The plant grows in the tropics.
Each banana is about 100 calories and is high in fiber and potassium,  which are good for treating high blood pressure, ulcers, calcium loss,  and some cancers. Bananas are also a good source of manganese, vitamin  B6, and vitamin C. There are over 1,000 varieties of bananas, but the  kind most eaten in the United States is the Cavendish. The Gros Michel  was once the most commonly eaten, but in the 1950s it fell victim to a  fungus that causes Panama disease, so farmers had to switch to the  Cavendish.
Bananas are the oldest cultivated fruit and likely were first  domesticated in Southeast Asia. Centuries later, shortly after Europeans  arrived in the Western Hemisphere, they were brought from the Canary  Islands to Hispaniola. They then spread to other islands, before making  it to the mainland. They didn't become widespread in the United States  until the end of the nineteenth century. They were so popular in  American cities in the early twentieth century that banana peels on the  ground became a nuisance and an issue that had to be dealt with. This  led to the gag of slipping on banana peels, which was frequently  featured in early movies.
Bananas were popularized in part by the United Fruit Company, which  was founded in the late nineteenth century, and is now known as  Chiquita. They encouraged people to eat bananas with milk and corn  flakes, and they put out banana recipe books until the end of the 1950s.  The books oftentimes contained adventurous recipes and aimed to get  people to eat bananas at every meal. They cast the banana not only as  something sweet but also as something similar to a vegetable, like a  potato. One example of a recipe from the book is ham banana rolls with  cheese sauce. Nowadays, bananas are still eaten in many different ways.  Besides being enjoyed plain, they may be fried, may be included in  sandwiches, and may be used in pies, puddings, muffins, breads, and  cakes—among other things. On National Banana Lovers Day, the sky's the  limit as to what can be done with them!
How to Observe National Banana Lovers Day
You should be eating as many bananas and foods made with bananas as possible today. While doing so, perhaps you could read Banana: The Fate of the Fruit That Changed the World. You could pick up an old United Fruit/Chiquita recipe book to help you decide what to eat, but we have also put together some recipe ideas for you here as well:
Elvis Presley's fried peanut butter and banana sandwich
Grilled banana s'mores
Fried sweet bananas
Honey-rum grilled bananas
Eat bananas with corn flakes and milk, just as United Fruit once encouraged everyone to do.
Try bananas in milk, with a little bit of sugar and a few drops of vanilla extract.
Banana bread
Banana muffins
Banana cake
Banana split
Banana cream pie
Banana pudding
Banana cocktails
Banana smoothies
Make some matooke, which is the most popular banana dish in the world and from Uganda.
Make Bananas Foster, a New Orleans specialty.
Make the original United Fruit ham banana rolls with cheese sauce!!!

Full Name: Araminta Joy Lam Nicknames: Minty, Mint, and the Spooky Girl Age: 25 Birthday: November 22 Pronouns: She/Her Gender: Female Height: 5’4” Nationality: American Place of Birth: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Occupation: Supernatural Podcaster (The Night Owls of Philly) and Social Media Manager Voice: Rachanee Lumayno
Personality: Minty is excitable and bubbly. Despite being the Spooky Goth Girl, she’s known as being friendly and cheerful. She can be one-track minded, especially when it comes to anything related to the supernatural. This can make Minty seem rude when she’s just bulldozing right past someone’s point. She’s a little too confident in her knowledge of the supernatural, believing she can handle whatever is thrown at her because she’s seen a lot of scary movies. She’d never be “stupid” like a horror movie character would be.
She’s a healthy skeptic. She doesn’t believe everything she hears and prefers to investigate before she buys into something. She knows there are a lot of scam artists out there that will take advantage of people who believe in the supernatural. Minty desperately wants to find proof and she refuses to lie to her audience. So far, she’s come up empty.
History: Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Minty has always loved all things spooky and creepy. For as long as she can remember, she has always hunted down and/or collected every scary/spooky movie, book, podcast, and TV show she can get her little mitts on. It wasn’t a shock to anyone when she started her own supernatural podcast that discusses monsters, cryptids, strange happenings, and spooky mysteries.
Minty graduated from the Pennsylvania State University, or Penn State, with a BA in Communications. She was still in school when she met Laura and Ingrid. Laura had been another student at Penn State and Minty met Ingrid through Laura. They bonded over their love of scary things and started a podcast together called The Night Owls of Philly.
Sadly, their podcast doesn’t pay the bills. She works from home as a Social Media Manager for a real estate company.
Likes: Her friends and family, horror and sci-fi, romcoms, socks, laughing at Hallmark movies with her mom and sister, scary stories, podcasts, podcasting, autumn, rainstorms, MST3K, rock, death rock, goth rock, post punk, rockabilly, coffee shops, and video games

In-N-Out Burger in Alhambra, CA: A Local Culinary Icon
Tumblr media
In the bustling city of Alhambra, California, In-N-Out Burger stands as more than just a fast-food restaurant—it's a culinary institution with a dedicated following. Since its inception, In-N-Out Burger has become synonymous with quality, simplicity, and a commitment to delivering a classic American burger experience. In this article, we will explore the charm and enduring appeal of In-N-Out Burger in Alhambra.
Iconic Beginnings:
Founded in 1948 by Harry and Esther Snyder, In-N-Out Burger started as a humble drive-thru in Baldwin Park, California. The Snyders' commitment to fresh ingredients, made-to-order burgers, and a simple menu laid the foundation for what would become a beloved West Coast fast-food icon.
Timeless Menu:
One of the hallmarks of In-N-Out Burger's success is its timeless menu. Focused on simplicity, the menu features classic items: the Double-Double (double meat, double cheese), the iconic hamburger, cheeseburger, and the Protein Style option for those opting for a lettuce wrap instead of a bun. The menu's consistency and limited selection contribute to the brand's identity and customer loyalty.
Quality Ingredients:
In-N-Out Burger's commitment to quality is evident in its use of fresh, never frozen, 100% beef patties. The menu's ingredients are sourced with care, and the commitment to freshness extends to the hand-cut fries and real ice cream used in their shakes.
Secret Menu:
Part of the allure of In-N-Out Burger is its "secret menu," a not-so-secret list of customizable options that customers can order. From the Animal Style burger, featuring extra spread and grilled onions, to the Neapolitan Shake with strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla flavors, the secret menu adds an element of fun and personalization to the dining experience.
Cult Following and Community Engagement:
In-N-Out Burger has cultivated a devoted fan base, and its red-and-white arrow logo is a familiar sight to locals and travelers alike. The brand actively engages with its community, often hosting events and supporting charitable causes. The company's commitment to maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere contributes to its enduring popularity.
Efficient Service and Cleanliness:
In-N-Out Burger is known for its efficient service and commitment to cleanliness. The streamlined ordering process, open kitchens, and spotless dining areas create an environment where customers can enjoy their meals in a welcoming and well-maintained space.
Time-Honored Traditions:
In-N-Out Burger embraces time-honored traditions, including its distinctive white and red aesthetic, the classic paper hats worn by staff, and the practice of printing Bible verses on their packaging—a tradition initiated by the founders that continues today.

Dearest Ralphie Boy,
To be honest.... I'm starting to think I do might know him! So now I'm wondering if he recognizes my name, let me know! Of course, California is a big state, not as big as Texas which I'm told, if you want good barbecue... That's the place to go. It is a shame about the passport deal... I hope you all get it sorted because I'd think you'd have a marvelous time here! If only for the food. California is the place for Mexican food as well, how are you with spice? I ask that, but I'm actually kinda horrible at it. My dad definitely has a higher tolerance for it, so whenever he claims something is spicy.... I don't believe him. I just don't.
Ahhh. Podcasts. Some of those are good! It's sort of like... Did you have those radio shows back home? It's kind of like that, it really depends, but basically audio shows or plays that one puts on the internet, could have a theme, sometimes interviews with celebrities and the like, or just discussion. But be wary if it's just a group of men that have a microphone but overall shouldn't. Do not listen. They have nothing noteworthy to say.
Haha, yes, you can let him just read what I wrote. I wouldn't want him to take it out on the messenger. Yve from California says it's GIF and will figuratively die on this hill, Scott! I said what I said.
There's nothing wrong with that! Life is too busy and sometimes too draining that a quick and easy meal is just what we need, you know? I like that kind of mac and cheese myself, my go to lazy meal.... Sometimes just a bowl of cereal. Or lately, I've rediscovered my love of hot dogs. Terribly American, I know. But, a beef hot dog on a skillet with some melted butter, grilled and then in a bun with your choice of toppings? It hits the spot. Especially if I cut up a potato and fry it with some oil on a skillet. Potatoes are a big thing for me, I love them. Mashed, baked, fried, roasted, I'll have it. Salted butter and a sprinkle of sea salt, or if fried, with ketchup. Again. Very American.
You really should try some barbecue. My go to would be the chicken, beef ribs ( sometimes pork, but, I'm a beef gal ) and either a tri tip or, there's one restaurant that does brisket burnt ends and it sounds weird but it's the most tender meat you'll ever taste.
God, we're quite wordy, aren't we? And usually over food. But since we're talking about food, what's your favorite dessert? Might as well.
Warmest Regards, Yve
Dearest Yve,
I hope it is not too forward to echo your sentiments back to you!
I am rather wary of spiced foods, admittedly. Especially after my friends gave me a meal that I later learned, when I looked at the menu for myself, that it had four peppers next to it, would you believe! I should have known something was afoot when they all had their phone cameras out. Rest assured, I shall seek my revenge! And I have learned to never let other people order for me.
Oh, a radio show! That could be fun. Victoria always said I had a face for radio, but that makes no sense at all, you can't see the faces of radio hos- Oh. I think I understand what she was trying to say, now.
I am writing these instructions down to try a true American hot dog! And ah, yes. The potato. So versatile, so universally loved, and yet so humble. One can only aspire to be at one with such a wondrous foodstuff.
I do tend to ramble quite a bit, especially when I am in especially pleasant company or I am talking about something I enjoy. And here I am, experiencing both! Normally this is the part where I would apologise for being "too much", as my... *ahem*, darling sister would describe me. And yet, you speak as freely as I do! How marvellous. To answer you, I've always had an especially sweet tooth. Mother never allowed me to have my favourite chocolate cake as a child, but now that I am a wage-earning adult, I can buy all the cake I want! It doesn't even need to be my birthday! This is truly living.
Warmest regards,
Ralph

4 Cuisines Perfect for Rainy Days at Work
For many of us, rain can put a damper on the workday. Walking out to your car or pulling out of the garage to discover it’s drizzling isn’t the most inspiring way to start your morning—especially if you might have to drive home in the rain after a long day at work.
Tumblr media
Fortunately, there are a few excellent ways to boost your mood despite the inclement weather. Among the many pick-me-ups to which you could treat yourself are some delicious dishes that can help you get through dreary days with a smile on your face. Here’s a list of four cuisines that are perfect for surviving a rainy day at work. These dishes also make fantastic group meals, so consider ordering enough delivery for everyone in your office and treat your teammates to a rainy-day treat. Versatile Mac and Cheese When you wake up to find it pouring outside, the temptation to call in sick can be strong. But when you can’t grab your favorite blanket and watch sitcom reruns, hearty mac and cheese makes for a superb replacement. Like so many classic dishes, one of the most amazing things about mac and cheese—which we only seem to be discovering as of late—is its versatility. You could go with a Buffalo chicken mac and cheese, or even fried mac and cheese bites. Mac and cheese also makes a fantastic side for just about any entrée. Just ask the folks at The Press in Oklahoma City. They offer some of the best office catering OKC has to offer. Classic Chicken Pot Pie Chicken pot pie is an American classic. Even if it was one of those dishes you weren’t keen on growing up, there’s a surprising depth of flavor to be found in many chicken pot pie recipes. If you’re catering Columbus Ohio sales meetings on a rainy day, having some warm chicken pot pie delivered is a wonderful way to help your team feel comfortable, nourished, and appreciated. Consider places like Cap City Fine Diner and Bar, Dough Mama, or 101 Beer Kitchen for fantastic chicken pot pie options. Rich, Flavorful Phở Pho is a Vietnamese noodle soup that has been making waves across the country. You can choose different meat options such as beef, chicken, and pork, or keep it vegan. Because pho is so adaptable, it’s an excellent option for catering Nashville, Denver, or Albuquerque corporate lunches. If soup doesn’t sound like the right idea for some members of your team, you’re in luck. Just about all restaurants that serve pho also offer a variety of noodle and rice plates that highlight similarly delicious flavors in a tidier package. There are also all kinds of appetizers to choose from at most pho restaurants, like crispy spring rolls. The Dynamic Duo: Grilled Cheese + Tomato Soup When it comes to comfort food on a chilly day, you’d be hard-pressed to come up with something more soothing and satisfying than this classic combination. Like mac and cheese, there are a ton of options for grilled cheese sandwiches. Choose from different types of cheese, vegetables like tomatoes and onions, or even add bacon. Ordering grilled cheese and tomato soup for your office? Plan on plenty of dipping. Be sure to get some extra napkins with your order! About ezCater Your company is just a few clicks away from high-quality catering.

The next layer of the burger is the cheese. The Mitcham Social’s Double Cheese Burger lives up to its name with not one, but two types of cheese. The first layer is a slice of classic American cheese, which melts perfectly over the hot beef patties. The second layer is a generous helping of shredded cheddar cheese, which adds a rich, tangy flavor to the burger.
But the cheese is only part of the story. The Mitcham Social’s Double Cheese Burger also features a variety of fresh toppings, including lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. The toppings add a satisfying crunch and a burst of freshness to every bite. The burger is served on a soft, buttery bun, which perfectly complements the savory flavors of the beef and cheese.
Of course, no burger is complete without a side of fries. The Mitcham Social’s Double Cheese Burger is served with a generous helping of crispy, golden fries. The fries are perfectly salted and seasoned, and they make the perfect accompaniment to the juicy burger.
What sets the Mitcham Social’s Double Cheese Burger apart from other burgers is the attention to detail.
