A trick of reality

This is a little "What if" of Alex, if you want to know I will explain this here

Context:

If you pay attention to the details, the ribbon has a rock green/red, that's Calem (OC that I may present better in another post) Calem and his anomaly make the power of creating things based on existing materials. Weapons, body modifications, and most importantly, reality manipulation, Alex and Calem as a duo in a fight, Alex as a tank and Calem as a support make a great combo

The "what if":

Alex has Calem in her hands, she finally learned how to take full advantage of his skills, and she will not let that pass. Calem is not able to materialize if someone else uses the stone, so hes trapped there while Alex is using it perpetually. That's how she ended up transforming herself into a reality bender.

Blood in the water

Realistically Benjamin did not have to run his own errands. He had plenty of people who would do these things for him if he simply asked, but he enjoyed the act of leaving the house for a few hours to take care of business while also getting to observe strangers on the way.

He did not watch people like most others might. There was no innocent interest in the lives of others, only a keen eye trained to spot weaknesses that he could exploit. His last plaything had sadly passed away after their latest argument, a shame, really, he'd served his purpose well... And while Benjamin was never actively looking for a new person to trap in his web, his attention was still caught by a passerby.

The man was clearly not having a good time. He looked like he wanted to disappear, his anxiety practically palpable in the air around him. It drew Benjamin to him, like a moth to a flame, or perhaps more accurately; like a shark to bloody waters.

"I am going to need you to bump into him. Be gentle but do try to knock him over. Act like it's accidental."

Hushed orders that made his bodyguard spring into action. As the bodyguard's shoulder connected with the shoulder of the other man, forceful but still clumsy enough to make it seem like it had been an accident, Benjamin stepped forward. His body language remaining calm as his eyebrows furrowed.

"Oh dear, I am so sorry. Are you alright?"

Alice and Boris were walking in the forest, Boris always takes his robot arm with him when she goes out because his arm is half paralyzed and accidentally finds an abandoned fawn under a dead tree that fell over.

*After rescuing the deer, they bring it home, and when it's big enough, they'll release it back. Of course, bendy was very excited when he saw the deer for the first time...*

“My own?” She seemed rather confused at the concept, but she was visibly much more relaxed now that he looked less like a normal human. She grew roses in her hair as well to match his, but they looked rather sickly and pale in comparison.

“I will be sure to repay your kindness, Sir.”

He noticed the confusion and began to elaborate. “Your own, yes. Some of my creatures are rather...territorial, but my forest has areas aplenty that are not yet claimed by anyone... or anything, so you could try to create a home in one of those. That being said, best to get settled first and see how you fit in before we make any big decisions.” 

He’d started walking towards the place he considered home. While the whole forest was his, this one specific ruin was what he considered to be entirely his and his alone. A few select creatures of the forest were allowed to enter, but most stayed away, knowing that it was his territory.

Update for you all!

Man, it has been a rough past few months, moving to a new apartment, having the apartment abated for asbestos, and on top of that starting a new job, I have been majorly swamped!

It’s been a struggle, and I’m slowly but surely coming back to this blog and PJ. Your asks won’t be ignored, but please be patient as I try to manage my time so I can do artwork.
