"Never be Alone"

Started on the sixth of January and planned to be finished on the fourteenth, but landed up not doing that. Somewhere on the sixteenth, I basically said "haha whoops" and pumped out twenty panels. According to Procreate, it took 15 hours and 37 minutes to finish Panels 1-10; 27 hours and 15 minutes on Panels 11-20; and 34 hours and 8 minutes for Panels 21-30.

In total, I have no idea. I just know it took some serious time.

Unlike with She's Gone, I wrote a script. Well, all I wrote was dialogue and some minor actions for Panels 5-23, though lines were changed "in post." Everything else was by the seat of my pants. However, I can say for sure that I was planning on ending it with N being hopeful, but all I had room for was him crying. He cannot catch a break.

(also to those who suspected uzi was still in there, guess you were right all along.)

I wanted to draw my own take on ART-as-a-presence-in-the-feed but struggled with what path to take for A While bc all I had was that I was adamant about a winding, serpentine body, too large to take in at once and So Good at piling upon your shoulders with weight that's either overwhelming or comforting, take your pick

And then I brought in the hexagons and everything just worked

(They let me give it a face without an actual face, make for a good shorthand to show that it's talking/present in potential future art, and as a bonus serve as an homage to JWST bc hey, science!)

Bonkers patchwork playmat I made for a friend's new baby. As with all my patchwork so far, this is entirely handmade and constructed from scrap fabric (old clothes, leftover from other projects, etc). It's a variation on this pattern from talesofcloth.

EPP patchworking is one of the most rewarding hobbies I know of. The barrier to entry in terms of cost is very low. Give it a go if you're in need of a relaxing activity!

OK so. I've been thinking about this for a while but I might introduce you all to a book I managed to write in elementary school. It's short but has like, 8 plots going on. It's also illustrated. The idea is that I can remake one of the pages because I thought it would be fun.

Be warned though, it contains the world's most complicated love hexagon. When I was writing it, it was supposed to be a love triangle, but there was quite a bit of gay subtext after all.
