It's my birthday!

And because I am most definitely truly not OBSESSED, I've made an owl house themed birthday party<:

I haven't seen many ideas for it online when I searched for ideas myself so I'm here to share what I did in my party in case anyone's in need of ideas!

Let's gooo hoot hoot!

The food:

Hooty cookies - a must

I made it as simple vegan cookies with almonds as the beak and chocolate for the eyes and head

Apple blood because of course

Made out of frozen cherries mixed with apple juice concentrate

I made sure to include fanta as an elixir because of the color of it lol, and pretzel snack because it's hex mix ^^

The cakes:

Fairy pie, because it's an actual cake from the show

I made it as an apple & cherry pie, with arms and legs made out of sugar dough, wings made out of caramel and a touch of colorful sprinkles to make it more magical

I also made THE owl house itself because if we're gonna celebrating an owl house birthday party we're gonna need an owl house!

I don't know how to bake, and I use self made neutral food colouring so it doesn't look that great or accurate, but I think it's really nice (and it did taste good lol)

It's basically chocolate cake I shaped to look like the house, putted on brownies for the ground and covered with sugar dough. The door is a lotus biscoff with a tiny Hooty cookie on it, the windows are made from caramel, the roof is what I call a failed blue pancake because the food colouring didn't work that good on it.. the tower is also chocolate cake covered in sugar dough (dyed with matcha tea powder) and the other small tower is made of carrot cake with actual carrot on top of it because I'M CHAOTIC.

The decorations:

I printed a bunch of random pictures to hang (what do you mean I have a fav character? Me? Of course not!) Along with posters from the show and with glyphs and Lego eda and such to decorate the wall and the table and all that. I took a rounded bottle and filled it with fanta to make a cool elixir. I dyed a food storage bag to look like the hex mix we see in the series. I put Lilith palisman (aka Mike Socks who looks very goofy) in there too because it's the only palisman I've made (I cosplayed Lilith a lot in the past year hah). I will not elaborate on that egg carton Lilith 🤧

The game:

We played the owl house, duh

Jk, instead I made the best pass the parcel game EVER

Every note there was either an episode based task/question or a coven related task. The coven notes were attached with coven pins I made, to make everyone join a coven haha. We were more than 10 people so I also made a few 'wild' and 'coven' pins inspired from those in the IFWOT (theme's the breaks, kid episode).

Example for tasks and such I wrote:

A Lying Witch and a Warden - make up a quick fanfic between two kinds of food.

Adventures In The Elements - create a new combination of glyph.

Hunting Palisman - what's your deepest wish and what animal do you think would be your palisman because of that?

Elsewhere and Elsewhen - tell us about a moment where balusters saved your life.

Theme's the breaks, kid - do a trust fall with someone from the room.

Potion coven - create a potion from the refreshments.

Oracle coven - describe the future of everyone in the room.

Abomination coven - act like an abomination for three turns.

Beast keeping coven - take over a giraffe (I made a low effort piñata shaped like a giraffe to be destroyed in this task)

Emperor's coven - stand on the side until the end of the game. You might not get to win it, but as emperor's Belos always said: to be great you have to make sacrifices.

In the end of the parcel there was a box I dyed and shaped to look like the suitcase (and door) of the portal - with candies and stickers inside.

Some extra “facts” and interesting weird info about a certain self proclaimed tiger lady house cat in my TBOSAS on Crack!AU.

One of my great THG buddies was asking about Tigris Snow and her weird cheese addiction. So I just had to write some things down before I write my next short take.

Tigris Snow is extremely addicted to cheese. She’s a certified cheese addict and “cheese thief” since the day she and her little cousin (Coryo) lost their marbles after the war ended.🧀

No one knows why, but little Tigris Snow claimed that the “cheese fairies” came to her in a dream one day and saved her and her little cousin from death and starvation.

Don’t worry. Crazy Coryo Snow doesn’t mind that his poor cousin is addicted to cheese and believes in some “mythical” cheese fairies. He has his own addictions (cabbages) and problems (Highbottom & Dr. Gaul) to worry about.

In truth, Coryo’s “mythical” cabbage deities and lima bean elves commanded him to ignore the “calling of the cheese” in order to stay pretty for his sugar daddy (Sejanus).

At least both of them inherited their family’s rare ability to bargain with wild animals. They can even converse with “sacred” rabid raccoons, poisonous snakes, and wild squirrels without getting attacked.

Meanwhile, the Creeds can talk to sewer rats and fat chinchillas for some reason.

And the Ravinstills have a rare ability to command an army of Bichon Frisé puppies to do their dirty jobs for them.

Sadly, Tigris was recently fired by Fabricia Whatnot for secretly stealing and eating expensive cheese cubes and cheddar chicken sandwiches all day.

She said that her cheese fairies made her do it. A food sacrifice must be made before the “hour of the owl” in order to satisfy the ancient cheese deities of the “Golden Arches” (McDonald’s) who once ruled Panem (America) even before it existed.

Moreover, our sweet tiger was actually sewing and hiding little cheese cubes inside some of the dresses on accident purpose without Fabricia noticing. Her co-workers didn’t even know about the cheese cubes until some unfortunate lady complained about the smell.😔

That’s why our dear Tigris Snow is currently unemployed and living her best happy-go-lucky “house cat” life in Corso.

But crazy unemployed Nero Price is her worst nightmare. He’s a self proclaimed werewolf who howls at the moon all night.

She’s a poor skinny cat and Price is a crazy werewolf who runs around the city (like a wild dog) looking for rabid raccoons and Peacekeepers to fight. So it’s better for the tiger to stay home with the Grandma’am.

At least her little cousin (Coryo) buys her the best cheese tarts and sugar sticks after school (using his rich sugar daddy’s money of course).

So yeah. Tigris Snow is now the NEET (not in education, employment or training) Cat Queen in this weird universe.

However, the Grandma’am doesn’t mind. She already has big plans with old Strabo Plinth to rule Panem from the shadows after Coryo marries into the Plinth family and their fortune.

And yes, our poor malnourish looking Cabbage Boy (Coryo) is actually the real breadwinner of the family.

Coryo marrying his long time sugar daddy boyfriend (Sejanus) was the best decision he and his family ever made.🥰

At least love-struck Sejanus Plinth was willing to pay for his poor sugar baby’s bills, rent, and groceries.

So after Coryo and Seji Pie got married and had their 24 (and more) babies, crazy cat auntie Tigris decided to finally settle down and became an official cheese merchant in Corso.

She (now) even has the time to talk to her mythical cheese fairy friends without being interrupted by evil Fabricia Whatnot.

She, along with Ma Plinth also like to spend old Strabo Plinth’s filthy money on the sweetest cheesecakes and weird looking clothing hangers every weekend.

Unfortunately, Ma Plinth is the only sane person who believes in Tigris Snow’s little cheese fairy friends.

Ma even joined Tigris Snow’s little secret organization called ✨The Cult of The Golden Arches✨. But to be fair, crazy Palmyra Monty and Festus Creed are the only other official members of her cult.

Too bad. Nobody could see those little cheese fairies except for Tigris and Coryo.

However, poor crazy Coryo likes to ignore his cousin’s mythical “beasts” because he claims that his cabbage deities and lima bean elves don’t want him to bow and worship some weird annoying creatures who divided the old world with their “Golden Arches” (McDonald’s).

Reject the cheese! Bow before the cabbage!

Yeah, I know. The poor Snow cousins are unashamedly crazy and delusional with their cheese fairies, ancient food deities, sacred animals, talking cabbages, and lima bean elves.😂

But don’t be sad. Our crazy cheese tiger is still into fashion and making clothes for her little cousin and his 24 (and more) gorgeous children with Sejanus.

But selling and eating cheese is her true passion and calling (in this life anyway).🧀

I think witches are a bit of a mix between owls/cats/humans in their nature in relation to food. I'm trying to think of funny equivalents.

Hello, hello! May I request a matchup for Stardew Valley please? I use she/her pronouns and am more interested in the bachelors. I'm 5'7", Virgo, ISFP, and a night owl. I have dark brown eyes and the same color for my hair which is shoulder-length which I like to keep tied into a tucked-in bun. My hobbies include drawing, playing video games, watching anime/films, and listening to horror fiction podcasts. I also used to keep a dream diary which would serve as creative inspirations.

I initially tend to be quiet and reserved but once I get acquainted with someone, I am actually quite open and can ramble on and on about certain subjects. Even so, if I am in a group, I'll mostly stay quiet. Because I'm more of a listener and can be quite understanding and honest with others, I think that's why friends often confide in me and I try my best to offer advice and consolation even though I personally am not great with words and am terrified of accidentally offending others. Despite this, I can curse like a sailor if I am annoyed (and I'm usually patient so if I'm ticked off, I'm go off like a bomb).

I am not an active person at all nor do I have enough stamina. Like if I go out somewhere and come back home, even for a simple errand, that is it, I need to stay in and recharge for the rest of the day. I dislike crowded areas so I actually prefer to stay in during weekends and chill. Other major flaws I have is that I keep seeking valdiation from others and am lack self-confidence. Sometimes I can be self-conscious and sometimes I'm just tired and don't give a crap. My work & sleep schedule and balance is all over the place especially because once I start working on something that I'm really immersed in, it's hard for me to give myself a break until it's done.

Some favorites and more preferences.. Even though I should be more compatible with cats, I adore dogs, especially the bigger breeds (but I still like cats too!). My favorite season is autumn (jacket & hoodie season! apple cider & pie! and Halloween!!) while least favorite is summer (I hate HATE humidity & mosquitos are my archnemesis). I like all sorts of foods but I gravitate towards cheesy, spicy foods and noodles (must have pickled side dishes). I am very selective with seafood and am not much of a drinker (though I will occasionally enjoy beer especially when paired with fried chicken). My favorite flower in the game is the fairy rose because it looks similar to my actual fave flower ranunculus. My ideal date would either be staying in with a dinner & movie or a peaceful afternoon walk at a park or alongside a riverbank.

A game of Cat and Owl

Amity was hiding for her life, curled up in a storage closet in the owl house as she listened in for the infamous owl lady. See, she’d made a horrible mistake. She’d only meant to visit her awesome girlfriend for the day. But Luz was out with King, leaving Amity with Eda.

Amity had had the thought to make a surprise meal for Luz, and Eda had agreed to help. They were going to make fairy pie, griffon egg and bacon sandwiches, and non-alcoholic apple blood. Amity had been reaching for something… and Eda tried to get her attention, by poking her side.

Her mistake had been the squeak.

Eda was on her in a second, but she’d just barely managed to wiggle away. Thus, leading to her current predicament. Hiding in a closet as the owl lady stalked closer.

Curse her ticklishness! Curse her inability to hold in her squeaks! Curse it all! She covered her mouth when she heard the door open, curling up as much as she could behind a chest.

“Come out, come out wherever you are!” she crooned, her voice slightly distorted, telling Amity she’d turned harpy. “I’m gonna find you boots!”

Amity squeaked, quickly covering her mouth and praying Eda hadn’t heard her. But as a clawed hand grabbed her, she knew she’d failed.

“Gotcha!” Eda grinned, holding Amity in her arms like some cat. “Now… I think I was about to find out how to make the littlest Blight laugh. Right?” “W-wrong! You were about to let me go so we could make Luz some dinNER!” he squealed as Edas wings brushed her neck. “Eh, dinner can wait. This is more interesting.” she shrugged, casually brushing her wings over Amity’s neck as they walked to the living room. Amity squeaking and giggling and wiggling in her arms the whole way.

“Eheheheda! Let me gohoho!” she giggled, trying in vain to push the wings away from her.

“Nope! Sorry boots! This is way too fun! I mean, I’ve got the grumpiest kid on the isles giggling like a baby! How could I possibly let you go?” she teased, squeezing her sides, making her squeal. “Edahahahaha! Ahahahahaha! Stop, I'm tihihihicklish!” she squealed.

Eda gasped dramatically, brushing her ears. “What? No way! I never would have guessed!” Amity squeaked and snorted, blushing bright and pushing at the feathers. “STAHAHAHAP! EDAHAHAHAH! EHEHEHEHEHEHEHE!”

Eda laughed but moved the feathers away and ruffled Amity’s hair. “Alright alright… We do have some dinner to make.” Amity giggled, flopping back. “Gotta…. Catch my breath…. First…” The owl lady sat next to her with a chuckle, “Just so you know, from now on, when you get all grumpy, I’m not taking it lying down. Got it?” She made her point with a poke to Amity’s ribs, making the poor kid squeal and curl up. “Okahahy! Ok! I got it!” she giggled, batting at Eda’s hands and sitting up. “Meanie.” “What was that?” Amity cackled and ran as Eda’s wings unfurled menacingly. “YEAH YOU BETTER RUN KID!”

You said while putting on some slippers and walking into the kitchen.

Smiling you pulled out what you needed and started to make fairy pie and (apple pie just for Luz.)

“Hey what smells so good down here”? King said walking down the stairs.

“Nothing”! You yelled as you saw him try to enter the kitchen.

- They used to exclaim ‘Helly Titan’ but Belos made it illegal.

- The crime of murdering Witches is called ‘Hexicide’.

- The common mold might seem to be a one day thing, but allergies are even worse, and seasonal.

- Warden Wrath is divorced, the crush on the Owl lady was the straw that broke the Ramel’s back for his ex wife. Luckily, he and his spouse Ragna got joint custody of Braxas though.

- The Healing Coven runs the Bonesborough Retirement Home.

- Cait Sidhes are one of the most fertile biped demon species on the isles and can have up to about seven kits or more.

- Acupuncture Coven is a subsidiary of the Healing Coven

- Incense Coven is a subsidiary of the Potion Coven.

- Ceramics Coven is another subsidiary of the Construction Coven.

- Ikebana Coven is a subsidiary of the Plant Coven.

- An influential and wealthy family known as House Kalamaris are considered old money.

- Astrology Coven is a subsidiary of the Oracle Coven.

- The Boiling Isles’ equivalent of Frogger is called Toader.

- Sculpture Coven is a subsidiary of the Construction Coven, Tello’s parents Vico and Nivra are members.

- Guilds use to be a thing before Belos took power with his coven system. Unlike coven sigils, Guild sigils didn’t kill you during an eclipse they just showed which guild you were in. Still, there aren’t many guilds left.

- BI uses literal Brownies in their brownies. It’s a similar baked good like the Fairy pie.

“King, Amity invited me to properly meet her family and I thought you guys could come along since you know… your my family”Luz explained awkwardly, dressed in her grom attire as it was the fanciest thing she had

“We’re very flattered Luz, I appreciate you inviting us along.”Lilith said caringly, wearing her old black dress paired with a blue blazer “Yeah but we already know the blights, know em and hate em”Eda noted in her usual dress paired with a black blazer

“Edalyn, the children were adopted remember, I’m fairly sure you won’t run into Odalia here”Lilith explained “Well okay then, I don’t think I’ll get drunk on apple blood then” Eda stated with a snort making her dark haired sister roll her eyes “Though I will say this manor is quite familiar, I can’t quite put my finger on it though…”Lilith said, eyeing the manor and it’s many celestial decor elements with suspicion as Eda walked to the glass door “Let’s just knock on the door alrea-”The criminal said but putting way too much force into it making the Glass shatter where she hit it

“E-Eda!”Luz exclaimed in shock“Heh, sorry guess my harpy strength kicked in, but hey, no need to wait we can just come on in now.”Eda said reaching in and opening the door from the inside “Edalyn that’s a crime”Lilith deadpanned, clearly used to her sister’s shenanigans

“So is a regular tuesday, now let’s meet these people”Eda said walking in anyway, making Lilith reluctantly follow her probably to make sure she didn’t get into more trouble, Luz following her aunt nervously

“Oh Amity’s family is going to hate us…”

The Owl gang walked further into the house, coming to a large room with a staircase to the second floor with multiple doorways leading out out into the house, too many for them to guess where to go “Now where are they?”Eda asked looking around suspiciously“Yeah, are you sure this is right Luz?” King, just as suspicious as his mother as he turned to his Sister “It should, I triple checked the address, maybe we’re ear-” Luz said pulling a her scroll out of her jacket to check but didn’t get the chance before a familiar voice yelled out startling her

“Blitz!”Her girlfriend’s voice yelled before a Red Imp with white markings on one side of his face ran out of one of the hallways carrying a mixing bowl and whisk in his arms, followed quickly by Amity herself chasing after them

“I’m making it better and you know it!”The Imp yelled jumping over the stair railing right before Amity could grab onto the end of their horns “But That's too many fairies! Just let me do it!” The young witch said trying to catch The Imp with an abomination tendril, which they avoided by jumping on top of the other railing with impressive balance as Edric walked out from where they came from “Why does this happen every time we come over?”He asked as his mother came out behind him conjuring a mass of abomination goo

“Because your uncle can’t leave well enough alone, now get back here”Millie said sending her creation after the fellow Imp, it launching itself off the ground at them, only for them to roll of the railing to avoid it making the mass slam into a wall “Nope, I am gonna make the BEST fairy pie any of you have EVER had!”They exclaimed proudly pointing at his pursuers“Blitz theres enough Fairies in that dough to form a mob, so just-”Millie said beginning sending her mass back at them before they suddenly tossed the bowl and whisk into the air, before flipping into the air, completely clearing the attack before landing gracefully, catcing the bowl and whisk like it was easy “Nope!” They said before Moxxie came out of the door way looking furious

“Sir, could you make this an easy night for once?!”The bard yelled, which didn’t seem to phase the other Imp, only rolling their eyes

“Dad, you know just as well as us he won’t”Edric stated, making his father sigh, before he just leaned on his much taller son’s leg “I know…”

“Wow, thanks for the workout guys, this is great.”The Acrobatic Imp stated with a wide smile, and Amity’s eyes widened as she took control of her Mother’s abomination mass turning into a grasping hand“J-Just give us back the mixing bowl!” Amity shouted as the hands dived for it’s target, the Imp barely dodging out of the way, the hand slamming into the ground with bang, it quickly turning back to mush as Amity gasped, probably not meaning to put that much effort into it

“Wow your getting really str-AAh!”The Imp began before a shadow zoomed out of the doorway at him, lifting him into the air as it swirled around him before forming into a tall, but more humanoid shape, but before it could fully The Imp frantically flipped the mixing bowl into the face of who was once the shadow, the bowl falling to the ground with a clang, revealing a red eyed owl demon’s face, completely covered in gooey brown batter

“Oh shit! Stolas I am so sorry, It was instinct, I didn-”The Imp said in a panicked tone before the owl laughed light heartedly “It’s fine dear, This will wash right out, though I think you're ‘little experiment’ is a bust”They said still chuckling a little “Oh well, it would have been great thou-”The Imp said with a smirk before he was interrupted

“Okay, now that that’s settled Let’s just clean up and make something before Luz get’s he-”Amity interjected only to not be able to finish either as her Sister walked up to her “Uh, hate to break it to you Mittens, but-”Emira said pointing out the unknown audience who witnessed that entire thing, The Lilac haired girl’s face turning red “Aah!”

“Luz! Your here, and…Early!”Amity said, nervously walking up to her girlfriend, looking like she was about to combust

“There actually on time dear.”The Owl demon noted via spectral clock, after he had used a handkerchief to clean himself off “Wait what? We don’t have anything, What are w-”Amity panicked, seeming like she was about to hyperventilate before Luz put her hands on her shoulder

“Amity it’s okay, I mean if you came over to the Owl House it would probably be even more crazy.”Luz noted with an awkward chuckle

“She is right, there's chaos everyday in that house”Lilith added with a shrug as the Owl’s eyes widened in recognition “Hold on a moment, Lilith is that you?”They questioned making Lilith turn to them and her eyes did the same “Stolas? Well this is quite a surprise, it’s been so long since…well anything”Lilith said a little awkwardly walking up to him, The owl a good few feet taller then anyone in the room

“You know this guy?”King asked, still in his mother’s hair, Eda rolling her eyes fondly

“Me and Lilith had a bit of a rivalry back in our schooling days, we had a competition to see who could ace their class more”This “Stolas apparently stated proudly “Which I won by the way.”Lilith said even prouder “It was a tie, you only aced one more test cause potions had two finals”The Owl pointed out “Still won”Lilith insisted making Stolas narrow his eyes in slight annoyance “And I don’t even think I need to assume you know who is still getting into trouble”Eda stated before The Mixing Bowl Thief climbed up around Stolas with ease that only came with experience and exclaimed “You sure don’t!”With a fanged grin

“Luz, King, behold my partner in trouble making crime, The Amazing…”Eda began before her eyes widened, before turning back to the Imp“Wait, didn’t you change your name a little?”

“The O is silent now”They clarified, causing Eda to continue “Ah yes, the Amazing Blitz. You wouldn’t believe some of the pranks we pulled.”The Owl lady said with a snort

“Like replacing the normal cafeteria gunk with potion gunk. The school healer had to work overtime that week”Stolas noted with a fond smirk looking at his partner “Ugh, that was awful.”Moxxie groaned

“Well it wasn’t that bad.”Eda said with a shrug “I was breathing fire, Edalyn.”The Bard deadpanned “But it was funny, you have to admit that, right Mox?”Blitzo said proudly “For titans sake, You two are worse together then apart.”Moxxie relented before his wife pecked him on the cheek significantly improving his mood

“So much Mysterious Past! Why didn’t you guys tell me you knew Amity’s family?”

“Well it was more her Uncles that we knew I guess… You are her uncles right?”Eda asked, receiving a thumbs up from her old friend “They were more friends of friends, and we both kinda lost touch after, well you know.”The Outlaw Witch finished dismissively

“I never really got to know them, I was friends with The Kids Bio father and when his marriage fell through and he wanted someone to take care of them, well what can I say Me and Moxxie made the best decision of our lives.”Millie said pulling in her youngest daughter and husband for a hug “Twins get over here, you're gonna have to kneel down cause it’s hard to hug you since I’m so short.”She continued, the twins doing as they were told joining on the hug in a very wholesome sight.

“Aww… there so happy.”Luz said, feeling like she would faint from the feels, which was simply not what her mother felt “It’s cute but I feel sick, Do you have apple blood here?”Eda deadpanned

“Oh we’ve got stronger if you need it Eda.”Blitzo said with a smirk

“I don’t want to get too tipsy, so regular should be good, I’ll just have some real quick, King stay with Luz for a bit.”Eda said, making King hop out of her hair and onto Luz’s shoulder, Blitzo hopping down to the ground in a very similar fashion as he led Eda to wherever they kept the drinks

“Guess we better make sure they don’t drink too much.”Lilith said turning to Stolas tiredly “Yes, that’s probably a good idea”The owl said a little awkwardly as he followed the dark haired witch after the two “Is our work never done Stolas?”Lilith asked, a chuckle was Stolas’s only reply.

In the absence of much else, Luz and King turned back to the family hugging it out

“They seem… really happy.”King noted a little awkwardly, Luz racing up to scratch his chin “I think they are”She said warmly “That hug looks nice.”Her brother said softly and she smirked a little “Well about one for you silly little demon?”Luz said pulling him into a hug and spinning him around, the small titan giggling at the embrace

“Hey Luz wanna join?”Amity’s voice called Luz’s back to the family, them having opened up from a closed circle to see Luz’s response which was simply“Wait really?”

“You make Ammy happy, and the twins too. Your part of the family as far as I’m concerned.”Millie said shrugging “Yeah come on, Join us Luz”Ed said, finishing ominously making Emira tap him in the back of the head

“Ed! don’t be creepy”

“Young lady don’t hit your brother like that”Moxxie scolded making Emira scoff before attempting to defend herself “What! It was just a tap!”

“T-Thanks guys, That sounds goo- w-wait! King!”Luz began awkwardly before King wormed his way out of her arms and leaped at Moxxie

“Hug Time!”King said colliding with the Bard startling him, but he laughed soon after followed by everyone else. They sure liked them a lot more then she first thought.
