Do you read romance? 📖💕 I took a break from adult romance books for a few years until about 2ish years ago, and I’m so glad that I got back into them! So many good romances have come out and I’m so happy to have been able to experience them with my fellow romance readers, including Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert. 💙 My full review for Act Your Age, Eve Brown is now live on the blog (link in bio)! Hibbert is one of my favourite authors and I can’t wait to see what she’ll write next! Meanwhile, I’ll work my way through her backlist books that I haven’t read yet 😍 Thank you @hccfrenzy @harpercollinsca for a complimentary digital copy of Act Your Age, Eve Brown to read and review. 💙 [ID: A photograph of a white iPad laying face up on a white fur rug, which in turn is laid out over a dark wood floor. I had to share this one again because I finished it last night and I absolutely LOVED it🥰 Not only did I appreciate reading about a character dealing with CFS (among other things) like me, but she was also trying to reclaim her life and take some risks something else I have been trying to do...then there was the hot, steamy romance that was so well written not only in the sexy parts😉, but also in the relationship building...I’m loving how #romancebooks are evolving to show what real relationships should be like, that there is no perfect, but there should be respect, honesty, and equality. This book left me feeling warm all over. Seriously #readthisbook It’s so good. I’ll be #reading this one over and over again. #bookstagram #bookgeek #bookworm #booknerd #getalifechloebrown #taliahibbert #booklove #bookish #bibliophile #bookaddict #bookaholic #bookaholicsanonymous #bibliotherapy #thebrownsisters #readersofinstagram #books #readmorebooks #brownsisterseries #read https://www.instagram.com/p/CM975OCLN3L/?igshid=vugrakk5ax8i

Anything you want to do, you can. Hurdles were made to be jumped. Glass ceilings were made to be smashed. But all that can be exhausting, so make sure you care for yourself too. There's great value in the things that bring you joy. 🦄🦄🦄 Blurb in the comments 🦄🦄🦄 Take A Hint, Dani Brown is the second book in the Brown Sisters series by Talia Hibbert. This is now one of my favourite books under the 'Fake Dating' trope (like the first book it's cute and sexy as well 😌). The book also has scenarios where the characters take time to talk about mental health and the effects it has on a person which made me tear up because it isn't done in the 'I have to include it so I will' manner, instead it feels organic, like the author wanted to talk about it so it's included. (There's a big difference between 'have to' and 'want to'!) I liked Dani a lot more than Chloe (there's nothing terrible about Chloe mind you). I think I like Dani because she's got the aura of IDGAF with a dash of spunk even though she's similar to Chloe in so many ways when it comes to personality. Also, Dani's bisexual and the author made sure that it isn't just a passing comment made on her sexuality, but does have significance in the story. Dani and Zaf's relationship makes you want to take a cold shower! (Enough said! 😉) But they're also perfect for each other because they feel like two jagged puzzle pieces that for together perfectly! They're story feels basic on the face of it, but when the story divulges into the nitty-gritty, it feels like a real story and hence becomes a great read for romance lovers. I'm dying to read book 3 in a few weeks to see what happens with sister number 3, Eve!! Will I have a new favourite sister? We shall see! 🦄🦄🦄 Rated 8.5/10 Melina L. #Bookstagramfeature #LibraryofBookstagram #bookstagram #bookreviewer #bookhaul #bookreviewerswanted #goodreads #bookishlove #thebookieclub #bookstagrammer #bookquote #bookreview #authorsofinstagram #authorsofig #bookworm #authors #author #authorsofinsta #newbookalert #readersofinstagram #readersofig #poets #series #TaliaHibbert #thebrownsisters #danibrown #writersofig #writers #writersofinstagram #romance https://www.instagram.com/p/CLb4ik8AtkT/?igshid=1mq8drgajzubw

Love is certainly never safe, but it’s absolutely worth it. 🦄🦄🦄 Blurb in the comments 🦄🦄🦄 Get A Life Chloe Brown is the first book in the Brown Sisters series by Talia Hibbert. It's a cute (and sexy 😌) story that had me bubbly with joy when it ended. I love a sweet love story and although this might seem like a typical romance novel, the author's way of making your heart all mushy was all I cared about. This is kind of like an enemies to lovers trope but it isn't as intense as most books (although the sexual tension oozing from the book was VERY INTENSE!) Also, non-skinny MC? Yes please! 😁 We deserve love to!! Although, my expectations from a partner has just shot up higher than the Eiffel Tower. 😂 But Chloe's more than that. She tries to 'get a life' because she does not want to feel like she hasn't done anything in life, and given her medical condition, she doesn't want to inconvenience others. Her fear of being left looms over her head like a dark cloud, yet she wants to put others happiness before hers and if that means that they have to leave, do be it. Enter Red, even though he doesn't understand her at first when he does get to know her, he wants to show her that she can be loved! But, not the knight in shining armour kind, but the kind that helps her fall in love with herself first, flaws and all. Overall, I really loved this book and would definitely recommend this to romance lovers! 🦄🦄🦄 Rated 8.5/10 Melina L #Bookstagramfeature #LibraryofBookstagram #bookstagram #bookreviewer #bookhaul #bookreviewerswanted #goodreads #bookishlove #thebookieclub #bookstagrammer #bookquote #bookreview #authorsofinstagram #authorsofig #bookworm #authors #author #authorsofinsta #newbookalert #readersofinstagram #readersofig #poets #series #TaliaHibbert #thebrownsisters #chloebrown #writersofig #writers #writersofinstagram #romance https://www.instagram.com/p/CLbL0gDATKq/?igshid=1tcqhd5sgumon

Nicholas Nixon's The Brown Sisters
“We’re all aware of time passing and us not being aware of it as it’s passing,” - photographer, Nicholas Nixon.
The museum recently acquired The Brown Sisters, an intimate series of forty photographs that spans four decades and captures the poignancy of family relationships and bonds between siblings.  Thanks to a generous gift by Nion McEvoy in memory of Nan Tucker McEvoy the photographs are now part of the museum’s collection and are currently on view on the third floor.
"At a certain point it achieved a historical scale where Nixon realized that this is something that looks both forward and backwards and has a bigger grounding than just a picture of his wife's family," says John Jacob, McEvoy Family Curator of Photography at SAAM.

The Brown Sisters / Nicholas Nixon
