I know that people can do whatever they want.. but ignoring the fact that both lucy and cooper have partners (poc partners at that) and y'all just ship them.
Is fucking weird.
there are other types of relationships other than just a fucking romantic one.
Notes:
-I know they're divorced, but that doesnt mean there isn't some grieving of the relationship or missing her. He does say in the end "where's my family?" not "where's my daughter?"
-I also dont know who divorced who, i can see her being like 'YOU DID WHAT? and instantly filing for divorce' If they clarified who did it, then correct me. He's not even over losing his dog 200 years ago.
-I get just as pissed off regardless of race, its just ignoring partners that bother me.
-At the end of the day this is my opinion, and I like him as a mentor. I think ghoulcy would be cute under other circumstances. The finger she has on her isnt even his, and he's a bit of an opportunist (he needed a finger and sewed it on cause he needed it) he had dogmeat with him at first as a tracker not because he felt bad.
Last note:
I dont hate ghoulcy its just that so many of you are ignoring the canon ships but more importantly some of you also *hate* the fatherly bond aspect, granted this is a problem in every fandom. I just actually care a lot about this series so i'm being a bit passionate about it unforunately. I hate this shit in the laserhawk fandom as well.

It's not enough to be in a Pokémon hyperfocus, I had to be caught by the best AU @yamujiburo can possibly conceive in her genius mind

read someone's essay about being mad that fanon makes manfred von karma abusive abusive and one of their points of evidence was stuff from the anime canon and like yeah i get what they were going for conceptually but also i feel like everything decent he might have done as depicted in the anime canon is cosmically balanced out by the fact that, textually, he is going to drop edgeworth off at an orphanage until he realizes edgeworth would be a good prosecutor. like kind of an unchill move there tbh. regardless of the fact that he buys franziska toys.

i know its probably more rich american culture than rich japanese culture, but i think seto should give transfem mokuba a fucking insane and huge sweet 16 party
like maybe its not long after she comes out and he wants to make her feel special and give her some gender euphoria (with a side of a big old fuck you to the media) so he just goes all out, spending thousands on whatever dresses she wants, a whole crown to top her look off, makes it a private concert with her favorite bands/singers, holograms and light shows everywhere because seto kaiba would not be caught dead planning a party without them, and he runs himself ragged trying to make it as perfect as possible because he loves her and would do anything for her
(honestly she'd be fine with just a day out at the fair or something, but she wont complain about getting a sick ass party and private concert)

I firmly believe kishimoto made deidara say "I'm not into S&M" because he KNEW everyone clocked his bratty bottom vibe off the bat and he needed to make a canon occurrence to point at to disprove it but the thing is he doesn't know Deidara like I do!! he has noooo idea he accidentally created a queer icon. But I do. And no posthumous editorialization will ever overshadow that.

I'll be honest, I think it's boring when people get upset with others for not believing in the exact manga canon of naruto. Just watching the anime is fine, who cares? The Canon of naruto is so fucked up and flawed morally and functionally that think you should be able to warp it however you want with non-canonical bullshit. Or don't. Again, who cares? Whatever makes it more interesting for you imo

Since I see a lot of reactions on articles/quotes from the Loki crew and cast, here are some general reminders when it comes to stuff like this;
There are so many people working on a show/movie and everyone make decisions creating the final product we watch. Of course they do a lot of work to unite their visions and make it cohesive, but "contradictions" may still happen. We often talk about the obvious people behind a show, the actors, writers and directors, but there are also costume designers, composers and editors, etc. All of these people can have different perspectives and pull things in different directions, that just sort of comes with the nature of making such a big show.
And then it comes to producing a show itself. Productions are messy. Things get reworked on the spot because what might've worked on the page didn't work in practice, props break and need to be changed, actors can't be in for the day, etc. All of these affect the final products in chaotic ways. Sometimes unpredictable things like this may get in the way of or improve the story.
And finally articles/interviews purpose is to provide this one specific person's perspective and promote the show, or engage fans.
So take these things with a grain of salt. You don't need to base your entire view on the show on statements from cast/crew. Is the line less meaningful because it was improvised? Should we consider an episode to be less canon because it was apparently rewritten a lot from its original state?
Your fan experience will likely be healthier and more fun if you try to mainly engage with the art you have in front of you. If you read quotes from creators and feel frustrated that they are inconsistent with the art - first of all, art is subjective, it just comes with the territory. But my main point of the post is that even if a person is working on the show, it doesn't mean that their view is 100% represented within the text. You don't need to go full Death of the Author here, but you gotta remember there isn't just one author and that author's intent at work here, there is a production, with all that comes with it. And honestly? That's what makes it interesting. All of these visions coming together to create art that we get to take part in, and whatever vision we're getting as a viewer might be something completely unique.

I'm not too big a Sonknux shipper (I don't really ship anyone with Sonic full stop) but for the sheer amount of Sonadow and rabid Sonadow shippers that popped up, I'm half tempted to create a 2:30 hour long Sonknux cinematic animation out of spite. It would be a quirky romcom with musical scenes which starts with Knuckles first meeting Sonic and ending with them kissing in front of the Master Emerald at their wedding.
i dont really have a problem with sonadow necessarily or people making jokes about them being gay in the new episode, i also went "🏳️🌈?" a few times while watching it. im mostly just annoyed that its everywhere at all times and so many people seem to have sonadow as their number one priority always and dont care about anything else.. like if you search sonic prime on here its just sonadow sonadow sonadow with not nearly as many posts about what actually happens in the episode or theorizing about what might happen next or even discussing sonic and shadows interactions beyond just going "omg sonadow!"... like is that really all you guys took from it? you dont care about anything else? just shipping? ok...
