We'll never have dream smp again you'll never get to be a mcyt during the lockdown
Every waking moment of my being was dedicated to dream smp. I was never more disconnected from people and more intertwined with thousands of others.
I'll never be a teenage mcyt people blorbo post about and I'll never go back
But that's just me talking without my meds ...

since ive already been pretty open about this and im not afraid to whack a hornets nest i'll go ahead and say it: if you were raising a kid in a pseudo-apocalyptic setting and then you found out that said kid was going to be the one to defeat the eldritch god that you have tried to defeat for half your lifetime and could never manage. that she was going to FACE that eldritch god it was prophesied. you would teach her how to defend herself and how to fight. like god i am not saying hero's trauma from it wasn't justified because i do think the twins took it too far but the initial process of training her makes so much more sense if you approach it at the angle of "this kid is going to do something we've been trying to do since we were twelve and couldn't manage and we might not even be there to help her so we have to make sure she doesn't die in the process" and not "we're going to make her fix our mistakes" it makes sense. goes along with lark's running theme of not being strong enough in the moments that matter and wanting to make sure nobody else ever feels as helpless as he did when walter was injured. goes along with sparrow desperately tempting fate with normal's name- not because normal was an accident, but because sparrow never wanted to lose even one kid to the doodler and it was a fervent, desperate wish to let normal get to be normal

Not to keep beating dead horses like I so much love to do but I am still completely Flabbergasted and Astonished at how you (Merle Ambrose) could discover the most terrifying fact that a child that is essentially under your care has been indoctrinated into a cult (which, by the way, a process that has taken over the course of years) ((by an agent that has been stationed in a direct position to make it easier to access and manipulate children, that has easily escaped your notice for such a long time)) that worships a nihilistic entity whose ultimate goal is the absolute and total destruction of Everything and Everyone around you, and your one, single, simple-sentenced response to that is to say "Oh, that's a shame. He (Duncan) always was pretty terrible. Hope he gets better someday." And then to move on from those extremely worrying and dangerous bundle of issues permanently without taking any sort of action to protect the vulnerable and make sure nothing like this ever happens again

Something that has been bothering me is that people (mostly on TikTok shocker) lately have been throwing around a rumor that in TMNT 2012 Raph states that he has ADHD.
This idea comes from the season 2 episode “The Good, The Bad and Casey Jones” when Raph goes up top letting off some steam and ranting to himself because his brothers calm he has anger issues, which Raph is in huge denial about (that’s one of the points of the episode)
When Casey follows him into the sewers, Raph continues his furious rant to himself and some people calm you can hear Raph say faintly in the background:
“I have ADHD and anger issues!”
I hate to break it to you, but that’s not what he said. Why would Raph admit he has anger issues when the whole point of that rant is him stating that he doesn’t. He’s in denial of his anger issues, why would he out of not where admit it then go back to denying it?? What he actually said was:
“I have a PhD in anger issues!”
Cause that whole rant was him believing he is good at controlling his anger issues so much that he could have a PhD in the subject.
It’s okay to have headcanons and I’m certainly NOT trying to hate on or dismiss the possibility that Raph might actually have ADHD (it is still is possible and we can still HC it), but don’t lie and change what actually happens/is said in the show just to fit your narrative.

"Dib and Dipper would be friends" sounds like an annoying fandom take but as someone who considers myself one of the very few Invader Zim understanders, I think they would actually have a genuine friendship. Dipper is a good kid and Dib is kind of a good kid but also a little bit of a freak. Dipper could fix him. they also both coincidentally managed to raise the dead (but they said they were sorry about it so it's okay).

How was she supposed to know? It was only a very Obvious Suspicious Red Stain.
A little context here: This is Layton Bros Des! I wanted to try my hand at a very simple comic and It kinda bloomed into this haha. Jubey in this au is a litle streetrat informant for Des and it's not uncommon for her to butt in on his investigations. She can be a hindrance as much as a help, but she likely doesn't much better to do either way. Des would much prefer if she'd stay out of his business, but puts up with it.

Wait hold on, in his anniversary video Barbatos mentions the mc being the brother's attendant?
But in the other videos, it's implied that they don't remember the mc leaving (which is actually something im very disappointed about and really hope isnt the case in the actual story)
In these two specifically, it seems like they aren't aware of the mc's presence in the past/alternate timeline/whatever it is. The only other person who seems like they know is Lucifer
Which also lines up with the end of lesson 40, where he's the only one who says welcome back? So like?? Do only him and Barbatos know? Did they not tell anyone?? Diavolo would probably know as well but I haven't seen anything to show that yet. Anyways I don't really like where this is going, I would really prefer they not make everyone forget the mc disappeared

who even came up with knuckles' backstory. who went out of their way to make it make no sense and then proceed to not answer any of the questions they brought up. whose idea was it to have knuckles know nothing about himself yet recognise things he shouldn't. like. what was your plan. did you put these lines of dialogue in there just for fun? what
