What do you see with your eyes closed ??

I had a thought about what could I see with my eyes closed ?? its a pretty weird question but it leads to a thought that intrigues me.

Normall when you hear that question yo dont think of anything because clossing your eyes meansyou have no perception of light, the very only thing that lets us experiment the world through vision and it woudnt really make sense to SEE with your eyes clossed.

but its posible and its very helpful for me.

Think of it this way, your eye its a light receptor, we can see the colors of different objects because they specifically absorb the light rays that can hit them. These objects do not shine with their own light, but absorb specific electromagnetic wavelengths of the visible light range, reflecting the rest.

Now, our body is an object, an esnetial object, because we depende on the maintenance of it to stay in an apropiate life, but it is still and object, you can see light reflecting off of it becauseit is, and when the parts of our body can let light pass through it, we see it change color, depending on the kind of light that is being poured over it.

So, clarifying that, think about your own eyelids.

The eyelid is a protection and humectation agent for the eye, but it isnt lightproof. When you have your eyes closed and you have your head pinted in the direction of a light source, you can see part of the light that goes through your eyelids and right into your eyes, letting your brain see, light in this case, with your eyes clossed.

This has led me to the light thorugh clossed eyes, and the patterns and diferent posibilities that go from light and darkness, to shape construction and deconstruction, with just simply sit and evaluat…

I need to interview the sumeru cast about what they think of Wanderer because he’s realistically he’s just Some Guy to them. Their interactions with him are probably mostly based off what we see in the Darshan tournament.

This is so funny to me. Can you imagine being Tighnari and this newbie Vahumana student who’s spent the entire tournament being vaguely prickly and sulking around ominously in the background comes up to you after you collapse from heat exhaustion scoffing about how “humans are such fragile beings who can’t even stand extreme temperatures 🙄” as he gives you water. You don’t know he’s a puppet or that he’s why you got struck by lightning that one time. He’s just some guy in a hat saying this. What does he mean by it. Is he not human. Is he human and for some reason thinks he’s built different and therefore immune to heatstroke? IS he immune to heatstroke?

You don’t know. He leaves without another word and shows up later to fly around and fistfight you and multiple of your friends for a crown all at once . You can ask his classmates about him but they just find him charming(??????????) and entertaining. They assume him making snide remarks about the follies of humanity he is apparently immune to is just One of His Quirks, in the same way they have Never Seen Him Sleep Before

Whumpee doesn’t know who their attacker was. All they remember is the mask their whumper wore. They see that mask in their dreams. They see it every time they close their eyes. Sometimes they see it in the corner of their vision or in the shadows, startling just to look closer and realize it was never there at all.

They’re going mad with thoughts of the mask.

Luckily, Caretaker is there. They tend to Whumpee and keep them safe. Keep them fed and help them through the nightmares. Hold them when they cry and make sure they take their meds on time.

Whumpee feels safe with Caretaker.

Until one day.

Whumpee is home alone and cleaning. Just bored and twitchy and itching to do something, so they start deep cleaning. Washing the walls. Moving furniture to vacuum under it. The works.

And they find the mask that haunts their nightmares tucked in the back of Caretakers closet. Still stained with Whumpee’s blood.
