Second card for the Hazbin Hotel! Results of the poll made Alastor the next in line. So, here he is, as the Three of Pentacles!
Tumblr media
Doesn't he look charming? He does, right. He does.
As you can see, I choose to make the trademark grin into a mask he's wearing, as his smile often feels like such. Who knows what expression he's making underneath?
Now, for the meaning of the card!
Upright, this card is all about teamwork! It's a sign for you to try and collaborate with other, since as a team, you could achieve something great. Like rehabilitate sinners, who knows! Alastor here is the architect of the og card- the one with wisdom and power to make the whole thing stand. Like him, you have everything plan up ahead of you, to reach your goal- as long as you work with others to get there! You would not be able to do that on your own, my dear.
Reversed, tho, the card suggests you may be grappling with a lack of harmony with your fellow team members. You are not on the same page, perhaps working to reach another goal (which one it is, Alastor?). You don't respect all of your team members, trying to prove yourself superior to them- be that with your little pet dog on a leash, or with that annoying short king you would like the fuck away from your plans. You would much prefer to work alone: you don't feel inclined to wait up for other, and hate feeling dependant. You can do it, alone, so you think! You can't show weaknesses, right? That would be silly. And maybe you're right. Maybe you can do it by yourself. But don't bite more than you can chew, no matter how delicious that Adam Bird is looking... and if you find yourself struggling -with, for a totally random example, a whole ass angelic wound-, be open to asking for help.
Tumblr media
And that's it for today! Next time, we'll have our favourite royal demon owl, Stolas himself.

Pick a crystal: Messages from your inner child
Tumblr media
I've been doing a lot of my own inner child work lately and really felt called to channel all of (well, as many of) yours as I could. This reading is looking at:
What did you need as a child?
How is your inner child now?
What do they want you to work on next?
I also gauged the time of your childhood that I think these feels really became a part of you - but the ranges are large and don't necessarily mean it's not for you!
Choose a crystal and see below the cut for your reading
Tumblr media
Pile one, stability is the world I would use to describe what you needed as a kid. It feels like every time you ALMOST felt settled, your caretaker would get too scared to commit and you were off to the next place. You never got the chance to really make connection. Yeah, you've always had friends but you never had that connection that really showed you what friendship was. I'm here to tell you that all of the people you were worried about liking you are thankful you were a part of their lives, no matter the length of time.
I REALLY hope my intuition is correct about how your inner child is feeling right now. It is beautiful energy. It's either a relatively recent happening or it's happening very soon, but your sense of emotional fulfillment is so strong. Since this time in your childhood, you have finally started to understand what unconditional love feels like. I want to cry, pile 1! There is a huge sense of relief coming over me. You're realizing that it doesn't matter how long you've been somewhere, as long as you are your authentic self and you allow others to be their authentic selves, that is all you need space for.
What your inner child wants you to work on next is believing that others know this too! In your heart of heart, you know it's true. But you wonder if you're being an imposter of your own self. Are you making up that this is the truth?! Nope. This is only your ego talking. It's trying to protect you, but you don't need it this time around. Take your time learning this, remembering this, and giving yourself grace when you forget it. It will come back easier each and every time.
Tumblr media
Pile two, I don't think you were allowed to actually be a child when you were a kid. It's not that you weren't able to have fun, but I think your parental unit guilt tripped you a lot and sometimes made you the parent. You may have heard phrases like "You don't appreciate what I do for you", "I'm a terrible mother/father/etc", "You'll never be able to make it on your own." It can be any parental figure, but I am feeling strong feminine energy. This person wasn't like this ALL the time,. In fact, you have a lot of fun memories from your childhood. You don't think your childhood was bad by any means, but you wish it didn't still affect you like it does.
I absolutely believe that you've grown a lot. I think this person still does this and, while it doesn't always get to you, every once and awhile you feel really let down. You may be having some trouble trusting your instincts, lately. You're wondering if you're saying "yes" to the people you love because you WANT to or if it's because you're going back to your old ways? Your inner child wants you to know that you're allowed to trust your gut. You will know when you're doing something for yourself versus for other people.
What your inner child may need now is the chance to grow on their own, without the influence of this person. It might be time to take a brief separation from this person if possible. It will be difficult, and you may need to grieve, but I think the grief is really toward letting your childhood hopes go versus feeling badly about hurting this person. I'm sorry you have to worry about this step, but it's so going to be worth it.
Tumblr media
As a child, pile three, I think you have to leave someone you love and, even if you didn't have control over the situation, ou still feel guilty. For some of you, you feel like an outcome would be different if you never left. For others, you haven't had much contact with this person since leaving and you feel like it's something you did that didn't make you "worthy" of being reached out to.
Right now, your inner child knows you're putting in the work to heal this wound. I'm proud of you! Sometimes, though, when you feel yourself feeling unworthy, you can tend to be hard on yourself. "I know the cause of this feeling, so why can't I just get rid of it??" But you are doing a GREAT job of being patient with yourself. You're taking initiative in your own healing. You are continually finding new ways to take care of yourself. You are confident that there is always a way to make it through.
Next up on your healing journey is letting others help you, too. I think you are afraid that if you let someone get close that you'll just end up leaving them again OR that if you get to vulnerable you'll see why the person above never reached out to you, and anyone you let in is bound to leave you instead. Your inner child knows exactly what you've been working on and wants you to know that this work has made you strong enough to let someone else in.
Tumblr media
Hey pile four. First, I wanted to make note that this is the only pile I felt like I was really talking TO your inner child versus asking the universe for information. While shuffling for the first question, I said "you're can tell me" ; while shuffling for the last question, I said "you're allowed to work on yourself, babe." I think things are feeling tough right now for you and your inner child and I hope this reading helps brings some insights.
First, something you needed as a child was someone to commit to you. You may be a child of divorce who split time between your parents' houses and there were multiple times where one of the parents didn't take you for their assigned times. If your parents/parental figures were together, it seemed like they could commit to everything else, but not you. They could commit to work and they could commit to other relationships, but never showed up for you. All you wanted was the adults in your life to just BE there.
At this point in time, you seem to be indulging in the needs of your ego. In an effort (conscious or not) to not worry about your traumas, you push your sad/angry/disappointed feelings into the shadows. What your doing seems like it should be fun, but are you actually enjoying yourself? Your inner child is telling you that you're holding back in an effort to protect yourself and it's time to think about what you REALLY need to help you feel better.
Pile four, you deserved to be loved the way you needed and I'm sorry that you didn't get that. But, it's not too late to love yourself this way. Be gentle with yourself when you start your new phase of healing. You have the capabilities to see beauty in the drabbest of places and you'll find the beauty in this, too. It isn't going to be easy, but damnit, if little you doesn't deserve this healing <3

In The Skeleton Tarot Deck, the Three of Coins emerges as a collaborative masterpiece, where artists come together to create something greater than themselves. The key phrase of this card may be, "Never work alone."
Imagine this: three people coming together, each with their own unique talents and skills. They put their hands in the center, as if they are completing a team huddle, about to break, having agreed on their next steps together. Between each hand sits a coin, representation of each hands contribution to the final work.
This card glorifies the skill it takes to make a physical creation. It also underscores the personal benefits of producing quality work with others. It reminds us that a team working together, may be able to keep each others eyes on the goal, more easily than when we work alone.
This card is giving you a nod to embrace collaboration and teamwork in your endeavors. It suggests that by pooling your talents and resources with others, you can achieve greater success and recognition for your efforts.
In terms of social justice work, the Three of Coins encourages us to consider the power of collective action and collaboration in creating positive change. It prompts us to seek out allies and partners who share our vision, and to work together towards common goals. It reminds us that by combining our efforts, we can create a more just and equitable world for all.
So, let this card inspire you to collaborate with others, to share your talents and ideas openly, and to celebrate the unique contributions that each individual brings to the table. Together, we can create something truly remarkable. 💀🔨🎨
When this card appears, consider:
If you are not already working with others, consider at least seeking someone else's input on your situation
Develop a plan for your project if you have not already.
Re-double your efforts to do all your work with integrity, really focusing on quality in the final output.
when the three of coins appears in reverse:
Consider if you have been doing the best work you can, or if you are cutting corners
Have you been working without the net that goals and priorities provide?
Are you caught in the trap of thinking that you have to do everything by yourself?

The Three of Pentacles is to be the best at something, it is when you have dedicated your life to the study of an art so that there may only be a handful better than you in the world, and you are recognized for your skill by all around.

A reading for the week of 4/22/24—4/28/24:
The Three of Pentacles represents teamwork, mentorship, and approval of your work. It signifies early success and finding work that makes you happy. It speaks to committing to your work for the long-term, as it's a project that may take a while to come to completion, and asking for help when necessary.
The Ten of Wands represents the successful achievement of a goal after hard work, but also increased responsibility and burden. It is a reminder of how exhausting it is when we don’t ask for help. It's also a reminder that now that you've reached your goal, you're allowed to release it. Maybe you don't want these responsibilities anymore and it's time to try something new.
The Ten of Swords represents the completion of a different cycle. It speaks to hitting rock bottom, whatever that means to you. Complete, painful loss and endings, and often an ending you helped create. It asks you to look at your own actions and see what you could do differently next time. The good news about this card is that there's nowhere to go but up. Learn your lesson, heal, and move on.
Put together, I see these cards as a warning of what comes of trying to go it alone. We may be able to reach our goal without help, but it will be an exhausting, drawn out fight to get there, and we may end up so tired that we're not able to appreciate our success once we have it. The Three of Pentacles and the Ten of Wands both remind us that asking for help is not weakness. And the Ten of Wands is the "best case" scenario in this reading. The worst case is that we end up like the Ten of Swords, broken and utterly alone.
However, I also read this spread as a warning about choosing your collaborators and teachers carefully. Make sure their values align with yours and that you can work together well before you commit to anything big. The last thing you want is to think you have help, only for people to leave you in a lurch when you really need them. Don't jump into anything rashly and keep your long-term goal in mind.
Deck is Rider-Waite-Smith.

What to leave behind and what to bring into the new month
Tumblr media
Happy last week of January! Pick a group for insights on what you should leave behind as the month ends and what you can focus on in the new month ahead. Let me know if you have any topics you'd like me to pull for!
Tumblr media
My dear pile one,
It is time to let go of your need to do everything on your own. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or weighed down by your responsibilities – or what you think is your responsibility – try remembering that you’re not alone and there are people here to help carry the load. Allow others to help, even in small ways.
Personal growth and development may be a great focus point for you in the upcoming month. The Magician brings forth the tools and energy you need to make progress in this personal journey. Focus on your “why” and look inward at your power. This period of growth will last you throughout (and beyond) the month, so don’t get hard on yourself if you don’t see immediate results. Growth is not linear.
Tumblr media
Hello lovely twos,
Rather than the Tower representing a destruction that has already happened/is currently happening, I think you’re being told to leave January with a bang (semi-literally), and create the destruction of your self-limiting beliefs. Light up some sticks of dynamite, rev up the bulldozer, or get that wrecking ball swinging cause we’re not going into the new month with any of our same thoughts. Your self-limiting beliefs have felt like a chaos storm in your brain, and this is your permission to let them go.
February is a month of self-exploration. It is a month to figure out why these self-limiting beliefs exist. This may be a good time to do some shadow work. Shadow work is tough, but I think some good realizations can come out of it. Here are some shadow work prompts if you’re ready to get started. You may find truths you didn’t know existed. Or you may find yourself answering just as you’d expect, but this time… it’s gonna hit different. You’re going to find answers for yourself which will put a lot into perspective and really help with letting go of your self-doubt.
For those who aren’t ready to dive deep into the darker parts of your soul (which is A-OK!), take a look at the resources at your fingertips. How can you align these resources with your goals? For example, do you have a goal to say nicer things to yourself each day? Make yourself a daily check list – add some normal items like “1 hour with no screen time” or “brush your teeth” and then add “say one good thing about yourself”. As you check of the easier items, you’ll see the tougher ones. And in an effort to make those check marks, you’ll get in the groove of participating in the hard tasks.
Tumblr media
My pile three friends,
Teamwork and collaboration seems to have been a theme in January. Whether it be your new years resolution, a project at work, or homing in on a new habit, the foundation was set in this last month. I wouldn’t say you’re really leaving anything behind, but the creation stage is ending. You are moving forward into the stabilization and growth phases of this beautiful thing you’ve launched.
Bring this sense of accomplishment into February with you to start the month off strong. You’ve done really great work! One great way to keep momentum is a partnership between your higher self and the work you are doing. As you continue to build on the project you started think: what can I get out of this project personally and what can I bring to this project to ensure it thrives. You will feel better about the end results knowing that it made your heart happy and that you had something to do with its success.
Tumblr media
To my pile fours,
You know what your higher self is trying to tell you. You know what your guides are hinting at. Maybe it seems too good to be true or it’s scary, but either way, you gotta get rid of the clouds you’re using as a way to doubt yourself. I know from experience that self-doubt speaks LOUD. It is MEAN. But it is soo worth getting past. It doesn’t mean it’ll go away for forever, but it sure can get quieter.
In this situation, “clarity” can be seen as the opposite of “cloudy” , and mental clarity is exactly what the King of Swords wants you to bring into/work on in the new month. You may not be ready to jump right into this new thing in February, but you can do the work this month to feel more confident when the time officially comes. Lay out the facts for yourself: I have done hard things in the past; I have the resources I need to be successful; I have people I know will support me when it gets difficult. And repeat these facts to yourself as much as you need to. As with pile two, you could do some shadow work to  bring clarity to why you feel this hesitancy to move forward.
