I really like what Wolf’s Rain is doing with the human disguise. The fact that wolves aren’t literally morphing from their wolf shape to their human form, but that they’re simply deceiving everyone that looks at them is far more interesting on a narrative level and allows for some very fun shots. Showing their disguises flicker when they’re doing a very wolf-ish action and letting some people catch glimpses of their real appearance if they’re particularly sure of what they’re searching for... Small touches that really help deliver the gist of the magic involved.
