i would like to know more about tina and nico's friendship
Hi Anon, thank you for your patience!!
Tumblr media
This screencap from documentary "Alain Pacadis, Un Héros in" released in 2003 it seems to show Nico, Alain Pacadis and Tina, I just wish I have a better photo of them together...
Well, answering your question...
Nico & Tina met around 1968 after Nico released her album "The Marble Index", it's not known when or how they met, but Tina loved the album and after hearing, she told Philippe Garrel that Nico could be good as the sountrack of some of this films. Tina introduced Nico to Philippe Garrel and the rest is history!!
In 1969 Tina and Frédéric Pardo rented a Villa in Positano and with them came to live Nico & Philippe Garred, who were starting a relationship by that time, Viva with her partner Michel Auder, Pierre Clémenti, his wife Margareth and son Balthazar and other friends.
Tina recalls everybody was having a great time there, they were young and free, but Nico took seriously her songwriting and she was working all the time (see Tina quote about this), and even they saw together the Moon landing.
After breaking from Frédéric Pardo, Tina worked with Philippe Garrel in "Les Hautes Solitudes" in 1974 and by that time, Tina became Nico and Garrel's flatmate and sadly the three of them shared their drug habit.
In the early-mid 80s Tina started a relationship with Jean-François Ferriol and Nico went to live to Manchester, so it seems they went different directions, but I guess Tina always kept Nico in her heart as she appears in Nico Icon documentary directed by Suzanne Ofteringer and speaks fondly of her friend.
So I would say they were true friends, that later became drug partners but despite that, they loved eachother fondly.
Hope this helps!

"in what way do you express coquette?"
Tumblr media
(a tag to talk about our inspirations, icons, basics and blueprints)
what are your main inspirations and in what way do you express your personal concept of coquette?
꩜ im a huge vintage girly, i grew up loving old movies and style, so i took a lot of inspiration from movie actresses and their characters, specially from exploitation or avant-garde movies from the 60s and 70s and cool girls that i saw on 90s tv shows, i would say that 50% of my personal style (that covers not only the way i dress, but also decor and lifestyle) stems from that, the other half ot it is influenced by my passion for gothic motifs, music and literature, which includes religious imagery, statues, a darker color palette, flowers (specially those saw on funerals) and the whole haunted aspect, that i like to mix with more delicate and feminine details to resemble a creepy, almost uncanny doll.
꩜ all those things help me to craft my perfect coquette look, that i would put on the coquette noir category. is also very inspired by aspects of my personality, which i consider to be sullen, sardonic and kind of mysterious but also very sweet, i think this goes too well with the mix of edgy with femininity.
Tumblr media
what media and people directly influence your look and lifestyle?
꩜ some of my favorite media that inspires me in the way i dress (also some personal philosophy) are movies like la ceremonie, as meninas, marie poupee, daisies, la belle personne, heavenly creatures, ms. 45, trashy europeans erotic films from the 70s and basically every godard movie from the 60s.
꩜ figures like tina aumont, anna karina, isabelle huppert, faye wong, early 90s mariah carey, strawberry switchblade, rachel weisz, sherilyn fenn, sade adu, hope sandoval, lana del rey, ayo edebiri and françoise dorleac also are big icons to me.
Tumblr media
finally, list some of your coquette basic staples.
꩜ i consider my basics to be denim, black or tartan miniskirts, thights (specially dark colored or printed with flowers), lace dark tops, chokers, necklaces with pendants, dark shoes such as boots, loafers and mary janes, mini dresses (either floral, tartan or plain black), lots of mascara with 90s lip combo, berry lipstick, nude or slightly dark eyeshadow, and obviously my fringe.
Tumblr media
do it too!: @lovesickbrat @lonelystarlet @iridescentdarliing @dark-nymph3t @miss-mademoiselle and basically everyone that want it

Why Do We Love ...
Tina Aumont
Tina Aumont didn't came into our life when we were child just like Shannen Doherty or Drew Barrymore did; she even wasn't a teenage idol just as Jane Asher or Pattie Boyd; Tina Aumont she came a bit later in life like Bebe Buell or Demri Parrott.
Tumblr media
[Tina Aumont in Home Movie, autour du lit de la Vierge, directed by Frédéric Pardo, 1968]
We first knew about Tina by watching the documentary Nico Icon (Suzanne Ofteringer, 1995) where she was interviewed about her friend Nico. We watched that doc because we liked Nico, we felt Nico was very different from the 60s muses, we found her mysterious and unique and we wante dto know more about her, and by our surprise, a very beautiful dark-haired woman was there talking.
Tumblr media
[Tina Aumont in Nico-Icon documentary directed by Suzanne Ofteringer, 1995]
This beautiful dark-haired woman was an actress who was 49 years old and looking great, and she was friend of Nico in the late 60s. Looking that beautiful in her late 40s, we were curious about how did she looked when she was young, so we decided to google her and to our surprise, very beautiful photos came as a result of that search. We love her naturallity, her dark hair and her heavy make-up around her eyes, and her hippie looks, of course!!
Tumblr media

We didn't know anything about her so we decided to googled her, and by our surprise, she didn't have any website and we found it a little weird because we discovered that she was a famous actress in the 60s and 70s mainly in Italy, but also she was daughter of two great superstars.
We started to save the photos we saw on google, we started to make some screencaps from her films and then we start buying some clippings & magazines we found on ebay with the purpose to make a site for her as a tribute, for honouring her memory.
Tumblr media
[Tina Aumont in Home Movie, autour du lit de la Vierge, directed by Frédéric Pardo, 1968]
We started to build (yes, build) a Facebook page for her, with all the photos we were collecting, and also we started a tumblr because we saw someone was sharing the photos we posted without crediting our effort (a las, the never ending story!)... the facebook we had was becoming very big, with more than thousand followers, people were sharing memories, stories, it was very beautiful, but one day facebook shut down our page for containing nudity.
We had to start everything again...
Tumblr media
[Tina Aumont pictured in 1968, unknown photographer]
We created a new facebook, called Tina Aumont Tribute, and we started again to share our passion for this great creative girl, at first it was a very slow start, but little by little, more people liked the page, and we got really surprised when a couple of Tina's friends liked it, and one of them even told us, several times that he's very happy that we keep her memory alive. Through instagram (although we don't have any profile for her), we have contacted several photohraphers, who are glad to share their pics and who have helped us to credit them in some photos.
Tumblr media
[Tina Aumont pictured early-mid December 1967 at her home, unknown photographer]
We found Tina had a very exotic and unique beauty, she loved Eastern culture, she was a hippie chick when she was really young and she lived with very creative people during the happiest days of her life. Sadly not everything was beautiful; as we were buying more magazines about her and sharing her photos, darker stories came, in the mid 70s she was a heavy heroin user, her step mother didn't treat her well in her childhood and teen years, and she married a friend of her dad just to runaway from that life. She got pregnant but the baby didn't survive...
Tumblr media
[Tina Aumont in L'Uomo, L'Orgoglio, La Vendetta, directed by Luigi Bazzoni, 1967]
Thanks to the tumblr site but mainly to our facebook site for her, three really interesting people contacted us, one was Andrea Montez, a Peruvian girl who shared our passion for Tina and who shared lots of rare photos of Tina with us, we are happy to call us friends; the other person who contacted us was an Italian girl who made great videos with rare footage from Pierre Clementi & Frédéric Pardo's home movies and she sent us her screencaps, always sharing with much love and respect towards Tina; and the third person we met was a French writer who asked for some collaboration as he was writing a biography about Tina Aumont. We were really excited!! We exchanged photos, some stories and lots of knowledge came through him. He worked really hard on that book (Waiting for Tina, à la recherce de Tina Aumont) and he has a page for her on facebook called as the book. He is very active in poetry conventions and he is promoting the book in different festivals.

Concerning Universal Monsters:
Say, back in the 1930's-70's, a film series would be produced where Marya Zaleska, and The Monster Of Frankenstein would team up with various other monsters to fight against Dracula, Alucard and their league. Later on in the series, The Monster and Marya would get together romantically. Either as The Monster undergoes an enchantment/curse/scientific experiment that turns him into a human at night, or remains his Monster self, I'm still yet to decide.
Anyway, The Monster and Marya would manage to produce a daughter together. A normal-looking daughter who would technically be a dhamphir...Or at least, a 1/4 vampire if Marya's mother was human.
