TMNT: New Origins

Casey Jones?!? He’s actually a year older than Raphael, but I decided to draw him in his late-teens because… I can’t resist not drawing him in his iconic vigilante get-up!

I thought it would be fun to make him be stealth at school (for people who don’t know what ‘stealth’ means, in this case it’s when a trans person doesn’t tell people they’re trans and lives life as their biologically assigned sex) because… projection mainly!!! But he’s still kickass and I think he’s the silliest ever, someone start a go-fund me for his testosterone shots his dad is an ass.

Soon i’ll draw Casey an actual ref of his current age in the story!

If you couldn’t tell— I tried a whole new style for this!! The art style is heavily inspired and is mimicked from @/brujo_ari_ on instagram, his art style is literally my favorite thing ever I had to try and replicate it!

One thing to note about Rise!Nico and Usagi is that they're really good friends.

They met at the Battle Nexus, when they fought against each other, and have been friends since then. Usagi is the one taking Nico out of his war vet mindset, allowing him to be a real teenager for once.

They often hang out together, tease each other, and share life experiences. It's like Nico can be free alongside Usagi, and vice versa.

Nico is the biggest supporter of Leosagi (being the one who introduced them) and the three of them hang out a lot too. To summarize, they're besties.

(maybe that's just an excuse for me to draw a complex scene? Prooobablyyy)
