where were you? (m.s)
Tumblr media
master list
matt sturniolo x reader
VERY STRONG WARNING: SELF HARM/angst/swearing
(please do not read if you are highly sensitive with this subject.)
preview: you were the new student at school. you kept to yourself which caught Matt's eye. he was determined to figure you out.
A/N: this one hits close to home. if you are struggling with your mental health, know you are not alone. you are here for a reason. these type of emotions are tricky to figure out and no one should have to deal with them all by themselves. YOU ARE WORTH MORE THAN YOU THINK. I thank the triplets for bringing me back to life, especially Matt for shining light on the subject and being so genuine. - L🤍
it was early in the morning at school. you just moved to Boston a few weeks ago. you were suppose to start school right away but you couldn't find the strength to do so. you were dreading being in a new environment and meeting new people. today, you had no choice but to show up. the school was blowing up your grandparents phones asking when you will be coming in. so today, you finally showed up.
you walked into the school's office getting your schedule. "name?" the lady at the front desk asks. "y/n l/n" you spoke out quietly looking around. she nods as she looks through a drawer pulling out a small sheet of paper, also grabbing a map. she hands you them as she speaks, "welcome to our school. enjoy your first day!" she says with a warm smile. you give a weak closed mouth smile as you thank her.
you look at the map as you find your way to your first class. taking small steps as possible still dreading being there. you finally stop in front of the classroom door as you put your hand on the handle gently, taking a small breather before stepping inside.
as soon as you walk in, all eyes land on you. you stand there uncomfortably with your heart racing fast. you took their looks feeling judged already. "hello! you must be y/n. correct?" you nod. "great. nice having you here. you may take a seat anywhere." you try to avoid looking around as you make your way straight to the back, sitting in an empty seat. you sat next to a brown haired boy not really paying attention to his face. "hey" you hear him whisper. you turn to look at him automatically catching his blue eyes. "hi" you whisper back looking away after. "i'm Matt" he says still having his eyes on you. as you don't respond, he continues to speak, "uh... I just wanted to introduce myself since we'll be sitting next to each other for the rest of the quarter. we usually do lots of partner work so, I was just hoping to get to know you so this isn't awkward."
you look at him with a blank stare. you appreciated his effort. "I'm y/n" you respond. he gives a soft smile as he looks at the paper laying on your desk. "can I take a look?" he asks pointing at your schedule. you nod sliding it over to him. "I can help show you around." he offers looking up from the paper and back towards you. you shake your head a bit before speaking, "no it's fine." grabbing your schedule. "i'll figure it out." "well I would like to anyways to make you feel comfortable." he suggests. you knew he wasn't going to stop pushing so you later on agree.
Matt walked with you during every passing period before lunch. he showed you where the bathrooms were, where the library was, and where the cafeteria was before walking you to your next class. the last class before lunch. "that actually helps a lot" you tell him with the same weak smile from earlier. "i'm glad" he says with a smile before walking away. you walk into class as you sit down looking at the clock already wanting the time to go faster.
*time skips*
you were finally home as you stand in front of your bathroom mirror sighing. you looked at yourself for a bit. analyzing your face noticing your heavy eye bags. you suffered from the worst insomnia. every night you felt yourself being so tired. but when you shut your eyes, your mind keeps you awake with thoughts you wish you could avoid.
“y/n?” you hear your grandmother say behind the door as she knocks. you open the door revealing her with a gentle smile. “hi y/n. how was school?” she asks. “it went great.” you reply lying through your teeth. you had no choice but to lie. you didn’t feel the need to throw your negativity onto her. you always kept your own thoughts to yourself. especially around your grandparents. you didn’t want to worry them or push them away. they were all you had since your parents disappeared with no warning a few years ago. that’s when everything went down hill for you.
you had this repetitive thought in your head telling you how much of a disappointment you were that even your own parents couldn’t stay. you slowly lost yourself and your ability to socialize.
when night time came around, you laid in bed in the pitch black dark as you let out a soft sigh shutting your eyes. you were practically begging at this point for a good night’s rest. but you couldn’t. you open your eyes as you get up and walk to the bathroom locking it. you opened the drawer and focus your eye on something you were use to. picking it up and letting out a shaky breath.
*time skips*
it’s been a few days now since you’ve been at school. every day had you feeling drained. you even still felt like you were being constantly judged even though people’s stares soon disappeared. you still felt the need to be on your toes. it was lunch time. you walked out of class as you see Matt. “hey y/n. you want to join me for lunch?” he asks. you avoid eye contact with him walking as you speak, “i guess” he nods with a smile as he starts talking about how his day has been so far with you just listening.
*time skips*
you and Matt have been talking more at school. you told him where you were before moving to Boston, you shared common interests, and he talked about his brothers a lot. you were slowly getting used to having him around.
as you and Matt sit in class, you both just sat there doing your work. it was pretty silent in class indicating everyone was focused. you were minding your business until one of your classmates accidentally bumped into your table causing your phone to fall onto the ground. you lean down in your chair reaching for your it as the sleeve of your hoodies goes up slightly. Matt also went to reach for your phone but he stopped himself when he catches a glimpse of your slightly raised sleeve.
Matt’s POV
when i almost reached down to pick up y/n’s phone, i can’t help but notice her sleeve going up a bit revealing her wrist covered in red slits. it stopped me in my tracks as i sat there in shock. she didn’t notice at all that i seen. i look away as i continue to do my work, or pretend, having the image stuck on my mind. why would she do that?
End of Matt’s POV
when school finally ends, you walk out the doors as you get stopped by Matt. “hey y/n!” you turn to look at him. “oh hi” you respond. “you said you walk home so, can i give you a ride?” he asks. “no it’s okay. i like to walk.” you reply with a blank stare. Matt has now been eyeing you closely after what happened.
“come on” he says grabbing your hand softly with a slight smile pulling you to where his car is. “Matt seriously it’s no problem” you say. he opens the door for you looking at you before speaking, “get in” you step inside his car thanking him. “well that was nice of him”you thought to yourself.
the car ride was mostly silent as the only sound playing was his music slightly low. you notice he would glance at you from time to time. after a bit, he pulls up in front of your house putting the car in park. “thank you Matt. i really appreciate it.” you spoke looking at him. “anytime y/n.” he responds smiling. before you completely got out the car he stops you. “oh wait.” you turn around to look at him again. “is it okay to ask for your number?” he asks hoping you would say yes. “um.. sure.” you reply hesitantly. you never really gave anybody your number before. but Matt has been the first to ask for your number in the first place. he hands you his phone and you type it in. he thanks you with a smile and you just nod before going inside.
it was later in the night when you found yourself on your bathroom floor with a blank face. you look down and lift up your sleeves as you flinch a bit from the fabric sticking onto your fresh cuts. you looked at it feeling numb. you had your reasons for doing what you did. but nobody seemed to care to ask. you hid it from your grandparents because you didn’t want to crush them. they basically raised you when your parents couldn’t. they didn’t need to feel like they failed because that’s far from the truth. they did everything right. you just truly were stuck in your own head. that’s why the only comfort you were use to was picking up your razor blade.
you sigh as you let your thoughts consume you. you didn’t want to feel this way anymore. you just wanted to escape from your own head. you pick up the blade but hear your phone buzz.
unknown number
‘hey y/n it’s matt’
you pick up your phone as you reply back.
Y/N
‘hi matt’
as soon as you know it, you two were texting all night distracting you before going to bed.
*time skips*
it’s been quite some time now you’ve been in Boston. even though you had Matt, every single day that goes by got you feeling weaker and weaker. Matt would distract you sometimes. he still had no clue what you’ve been going through. besides the one time he’s seen it but never brought it up.
Matt’s POV
i showed up to school anticipating excitement knowing i get to see y/n. she’s honestly the best person to talk to. it still crosses my mind the thought of her hurting herself but lately i haven’t seen any other signs. but when i arrived to class, she wasn’t there.
Matt
‘where are you?’
i text her but i get no response. i decided to wait and not think much of it until i realized she wasn’t texting back all day.
Matt
‘y/n are you okay?’
‘answer me y/n’
‘why aren’t you at school? why aren’t you replying?’
no response.
when school ends, i decided to get in my car and drive to her house. it was starting to scare me.
End of Matt’s POV
you sat on your bathroom floor with your head leaned against your bath tub, looking at the ceiling. your door wasn’t closed all the way so when Matt walked into your room and saw you in your bathroom, he felt his heart drop. you turned your head as you sat up, “Matt? how’d you get in here?” you ask confused. he walks up to you as he shuts the bathroom door.
“your grandma let me in.” he says. “why weren’t you responding to my texts? what’s wrong?” he asks. you avoid eye contact as you speak, “sorry. just didn’t feel like going.” all he does is stare at you before sitting down in front of you. “talk to me” he says quietly not pulling his eyes away from you. “there’s nothing to talk about?” you say in a confused tone. “clearly there is. i know you don’t like school but you will show up. how come not today?” he questions. “like i said, i didn’t feel like going.” you respond looking at your hands. “are you at least okay?” Matt asks with worry plastered on his face.
“of course i am” you say looking at him with a weak smile. “why wouldn’t i be?” he stays silent as he grabs your hand softly. taking his other hand to raise your sleeve slowly, with him looking at it frozen. you yank your hand away as you get up pulling the sleeve back down.
“what the fuck are you doing?” you ask as you feel yourself heat up. he stands up as well before speaking, “y/n why didn’t you tell me?” “what was there to tell you Matt?” you say in annoyance. “you doing that y/n. why didn’t you just tell me?” he asks with a somber face. “i saw them before in class when you reached for your phone. i never said anything because i didn’t want to pressure you.” “what was i suppose to tell you Matt?!” you say raising your voice. “it’s none of your business or your concern!”
“y/n please talk to me. i’m worried about you.” he says trying to grab your hand but you step back. “don’t touch me! i don’t need you feeling sorry for me.” you tell him. “i care about you. i get you like to keep things to yourself but i’m hear to listen.” he says. you let out a scoff, “this is unbelievable.” you say. “what’s so unbelievable about me wanting to be here for you?” you look at him with your face burning up from rage after his response. “i didn’t ask for you to be here! you should’ve minded your own business.” you exclaim. “i felt like i needed to be here y/n. for you. i don’t want you going through this alone. it pains me to know you just keep quiet.”
“because it’s none of your fucking business Matt! it’s my shit to keep to myself. not for you to hear. it pains you? well how do you think i feel!” you yell out. “y/n please.” he says quietly. “no Matt! i want you gone. no one has ever been here for me before and i sure as hell don’t need anybody now! especially you being here telling me you care when you don’t know shit!”
“yeah i don’t know shit y/n. that’s why i’m here trying to prove to you that i want to be here for you!” he says keeping eye contact. “Matt just get out!” you yell. “i’m not going anywhere y/n.” he says getting close to you trying to hold you but you push your hands against his chest trying to pull away from him, repeatedly screaming out, “get out! get out! GET OUT!” but he doesn’t listen and you eventually give into his hold as you break down crying with your legs giving out. Matt goes down as well holding you as he leans back against the sink cabinet wrapping his arms around you, embracing you in a hug.
he rubs your back softly as you sob in his chest. “i got you y/n. i’m right here for you.” he says reassuringly, resting his chin on your head. “i’m here to listen.” he pulls away as he lifts up your chin looking at the tears roll down your cheeks. he wipes them away and tucks your hair behind your ear. “i don’t know what’s wrong with me. i want the thoughts to go away and i try to put it into words but i just don’t get it.” you say sadly. he holds your hand as he speaks, “i know it can be difficult. i’m not asking you to tell me everything now because i know this is new for you. take all the time you need. but, i will be here. for you.” you look into his eyes as more tears stream down your face from his kind words. “you’ll be okay i promise.” he finishes, wiping your tears away again. you wrap your arms around his neck hugging him as he wraps his around your waist.
you knew you were safe with him. he validated that for you. “where were you when i needed someone the most?” you whisper out. “i could’ve avoided all this.”
“now they’re just going to turn into ugly scars…” you add on. he pulls away from the hug as he lifts up your sleeves. you gulp as he looks at them. he pulls your arms up gently to his face as he leaves soft kisses on your self inflicted wounds.
“don’t say that. when they turn into scars, i will look at them and tell you how incredibly beautiful they are.” he says. “you’re here for a reason y/n. these that will soon turn into scars, will show how you’ll progress to be stronger.”
you smile softly not even remembering the last time you actually let out a real smile. “thank you Matt.” you say. he smiles as he leaves a kiss on your forehead. “don’t thank me. i’ll always be here.” he says leaving the both of you still on the bathroom floor embracing each other.

"babe please hurry up, we're already running late," matt sighs as he shuts the car door.
"i just need to get some shorts or something, i can't show up to your mom's house in these jeans, look at this" i lift the sweater wrapped around my waist, revealing the rip around my inner thigh.
he rolls his eyes and sulks behind me as we make our way inside the old navy in our hometown. i begin to scan the various women's clothing, looking for something basic, because it's too late to go back home and figure out a new outfit.
"will you hurry up and pick one? please, y/n. chris is texting me wondering where we are. they want to start eating without us and he's most definitely gonna eat all the mac and cheese."
i roll my eyes at him. "first of all, never call me by my government name. rude. and second, we just got here, breathe. we wouldn't be here if you hadn't grabbed my ass so harshly when we stopped at the gas station. you caused this by manhandling me, matthew." i shot back.
he sighs again as i grab a few different options in my size and head towards the fitting rooms. upon arrival, we notice there aren't any employees so i pick a stall and wave matt into the small room.
he looks up at me, then around at our surroundings, "are you sure? i don't think they allow multiple people in at once, i'll just wait here."
i roll my eyes again. "matthew! get in here! i need your opinion. this store is basically empty anyways. it's not a big deal, you've seen me naked before. let's not act so innocent."
he follows me in and takes a seat on the bench facing the door. i untie the sweater he lent me and throw it at his face. "rude!" he exclaims sassily, throwing the wad of clothing to the ground.
"uhm, excuse me, you're rude. you're the whole reason we're in this mess." i begin to remove the ripped pair of pants and pull a new one off its hanger.
facing the mirror on the door, i begin to pull the pair of mom jeans on before matt looks up from his phone and stops me.
"baby, i've never seen these panties on you before, are they new?" he smirks at me. i nod, swatting at his hands.
"wait stop, they're super cute, why haven't you shown me?" he looks up at me with those hypnotic blue eyes, brows furrowed.
i turn around, with the jeans still around my ankles and my hands on my hips. "do i need to inform you every time i purchase a new article of clothing, matt? it's just panties."
he wiggles his eyebrows at me, "when they make your ass look like that, then yeah, i must be notified immediately." he places me onto his lap, pulling the jeans all the way off my ankles so i can straddle him.
"baby we're running late, you're the one who keeps insisting, as much as i want to, we don't have time to fool around" i say to him between the open-mouthed kisses he begins to place on my neck.
he starts to take my top off, then gasps. "fuck the mac and cheese! it's a matching set, now i really can't believe you kept this from me." he drools at the sight of the lacy see-through bra, rubbing his thumb over my visible nipple. he yanks down the thin fabric, causing my boobs to spill over. with one arm wrapped around me, clutching my ass, he uses the other to massage my breast, all while kissing my neck. i feel myself starting to give in, biting my lip to stifle a moan. "matt, i-i don't think we can do this here." i slightly protest, but he reaches up to kiss me, and bites my bottom lip.
i'm done for.
he's kissing and grabbing and rubbing all over me and i'm a mess. i can never say no to him, he knows how to manipulate my body to want exactly what he wants. i can feel his bulge through his jeans, and i grind on it slowly, making my clit throb against it.
suddenly, he lifts me and flips me around so im sat on his lap, and we're both facing the mirror. he's unbuckling his belt, then his pants. he wraps one arm around my waist and lifts me slightly while he pulls down his pants and boxers, revealing his dick, standing tall and proud.
he makes eye contact with me in the mirror and grabs my face, smushing my cheeks together, and whispers in my ear, "i want you to watch baby, watch how good you can take my whole dick inside of you, pay real close attention."
he smirks at my widened eyes, and moves the panties to one side, rubbing the wetness all around and then on my clit.
"you normally get to scream all you want, but not this time baby, okay? you need to be really really quiet for me, got it?" he covers my mouth.
i nod quickly, and without warning, he picks me up and thrusts his entire length into me. i hold back a scream, and i feel tears falling down my cheeks. no matter how many times, how long we've been together, i'll never be used to his size.
he gives me a second to adjust, and then begins to pound into me over and over again, my back sliding up and down his clothed chest. i'm watching as my breasts bounce up and down and his dick glides in and out, in and out. he uncovers my mouth, keeping one hand on my waist, and starts to rub circles on my clit with the pad of his thumb, making me roll my eyes back further in pleasure.
he begins to nibble on my ear, then moves down to suck the spot right underneath. as he kisses down, i feel him bite down on my shoulder to suppress a moan.
"matthew!" i hiss at the pain, but it feels so good.
"shh!" he pinches my nipple, causing me to let out a whimper.
i grab his wrist, stopping his movement, and smile at him, "my turn." i bend down slightly, still facing the mirror so he has a full view of my ass while i bounce on his dick. he presses down on my back, sliding his hand down to secure a firm grip on my neck. he curses under his breath, trying hard not to make any noise while i'm aggressively riding him. he places both hands on my ass grasping and slapping occasionally, until i sit back up and we're making eye contact in the reflection. he's rubbing on my clit again, using his other hand to massage my left breast and i can feel a knot forming in my abdomen.
i turn around so i'm straddling him, and continue to bounce up and down. he grabs me by my throat and kisses me roughly, before planting a hard slap on my ass. i move faster, and he groans, grasping my ass tighter, leaving hand-shaped bruises for him to stare at later.
"i'm almost there baby. fuck, you're the most beautiful thing i've ever laid my eyes on." he whispers in my ear and i close my eyes, feeling my climax creeping close.
we start moving in sync, until my legs shake, and i feel his dick twitch, then shoot his load into me, causing me to finish as well, leaving me trembling on his lap. i drop my head forward onto his shoulder, desperately trying to catch my breath
he wraps his arms around my shoulders, kissing the side of my head. "wow, what we just did was probably super illegal, " i laugh at his comment, but then frown when i realize what we've done.
"fucking hell, matt. we can't buy pants now, i feel too awkward going up to the register after we've been in this fitting room for so long, they probably know what we've been doing!" i cover my face with my hands.
"baby that's alright," he grabs my wrists, pulling my hands away from my face. "just put your clothes back on, we'll go back to the car, and you can just borrow some sweats when we get home."
i stare at him, mouth gaping in realization. "are you serious? we could've just done that in the first place! i'm so dumb, why didn't i think of that?"
he stands and helps me put my shirt on, followed by the ripped jeans, "it's alright y/n, i didn't think of it either. let's go home, i'm starving." he smiles at me, rubbing small circles on my back.
"i love you, matt" i look up at him, with red cheeks, wondering how i'm going to leave this dressing room with any dignity.
"i love you. don't worry, i know what you're thinking. just hold my hand and we'll walk back to the car, c'mon." he laces our fingers together and kisses me on the forehead, unlocking the door and stepping out of the changing room.
luckily enough, nobody seemed to even notice us weaving through the aisles and exiting the store. we managed to get back in matt's car without a single interruption, and soon after arriving at his house, where chris had demolished the entire dish of mac and cheese.

Coffee shop crush · Alexia Putellas
Summary: Alexia and reader finally meet each other in a coffee shop (fluffy)
MASTERLIST
This has been the fourth time in a row this week, seeing her in my local coffee shop. I walked in with my hands in the pockets of my coat, looking around hoping to find my usual seat by the window empty. But to my surprise it was taken. Taken by who, you might wonder. Taken by the pretty blonde who’s been staring at me since I’ve walked in.
I tried to keep my composure knowing that if I looked back and returned the glances, I might make a fool out of myself. She was holding a cup of coffee in one hand while holding a phone in the other, frowning at whatever she was watching on the screen in her hands and shaking her head every few seconds. I felt a frown creeping on my own face after realizing her attention had shifted to something else, something other than me. I continued my secretive glances hoping she wouldn’t notice how I’ve almost analyzed her entire existence.
‘'Miss? Would you still like to order?’’ I turned my head after hearing the barista in front of me trying to get my attention. ‘’Yes, sorry.’’ I began, internally swearing at myself for being so caught up in this stranger. I tried looking for another seat after making my order, a bit sad at the fact that I won’t be sitting in my favorite seat. I still hoped the blonde was enjoying the amazing view instead of me, but I doubted that. The frown on her face was still present, frustrated eyes replacing the sneaky ones she had when I walked in.
I saw someone getting up from their seat once I retrieved my coffee, right in the front next to the woman my eyes have been glued on for the past minutes. The empty seat was calling for my name. The blonde put her phone down once I walked past her to take place. A shy smile grew on her soft face, her hair was loose around her shoulders, and she was fidgeting with the gold rings she had on her fingers. I returned the smile and turned around. Did I just turn around?
‘'Joder (fuck)’’ I raised my eyebrows after hearing the blonde woman behind me curse softly. I haven’t been living that long in Barcelona, but I certaintly knew what that meant. I hesitated before turning around, not sure if it was my business to ask her if something was wrong. But I did. Her hazel eyes were wide open, and a playful smile replaced the shy one she had given me a few seconds ago. ‘’This is your seat, isn’t it?’’ She giggled.
I wasn’t sure if she was talking to me, even though her eyes were literally staring into mine, and looked around to make sure. ‘’I’m talking to you’’ She said, the smile on her face growing wider as her pearly whites were on full display. I shook my head while hoping the blush on my cheeks wasn’t that visible. ‘’I mean, it’s not my seat.’’ I replied. ‘’I’ve seen you around here a couple of times, I wanted to see what’s so special about it.’’ The blonde admitted while looking past me. The roaming streets of Barcelona were right in front of our eyes, the windows of the coffee shop separating us. Everyone had their own thing going on.
‘’I hope you’re enjoying it’’ I sincerely said while looking in her warm eyes, the lines around them made her so much more charming. She smiled down at her phone ‘’I must say I haven’t really been appreciating it.’’ She replied and turned her screen to show me. She was watching a football match from what I was able to see. Pretty random if you ask me, it was a Wednesday morning. I didn’t know they played matches this early.
‘’That looks nice as well?’’ I hesitantly said not really knowing if she indeed was having a good time. She let out a soft laugh, ‘’Nice’’ She murmured before she took a sip of her hot drink. The blonde extended her arm after putting the green cup down. I shook her hand, feeling her slightly larger hand engulf mine firmly for a second or two. ‘’My name is Alé.’’ I nodded and gave her a smile before giving her my name. We continued sipping on our coffee as we sat in the small coffee shop in the center of Barcelona.
‘’Feel free to take a seat’’ She proposed as she was pointing to the empty space next to her. ‘’I still feel bad for taking your place.’’ The mischievous look on her face was telling me she wasn’t that sorry about it. Her eyes were fixed on the almost empty cup of coffee while she was waiting for me to move. I of course did without a second thought, our knees brushing as I sat down. I felt her warmth radiating off of her making me instantly feel at ease. The nerves I had were completely gone now. I attentively listened to Alé as she was sharing stories about the place she grew up in, a place not so far from here. She said that she was visiting it later today and asked me to show her pictures of home, something she was really curious about. I guess my accent threw her off a bit.
The atmosphere between us shifted. The sneaky glances turned into shy, warm ones as the time went by. Her hand brushed my shoulder while she was laughing at a confession I made. ‘’Hey, I have a confession to make as well.’’ Her flushed face got closer to mine and I leaned in mimicking her. I felt her warm breath on my neck as she got closer and whispered in my ear. ‘’I knew this was your seat. I just didn’t know how to approach you.’’
I rolled my eyes at her distancing us to give her a little shove. She let out a small laugh and squeezed my hand that was resting on the table. ‘’So, you made me feel like a psychopath over nothing?’’ I asked, referring to my creepy staring. She shook her head and shrugged ‘’I mean, I was staring pretty hard as well wasn’t i?’’

Fill It With Something Pretty
Tumblr media
Summary: A pre-wedding dinner just isn't the right place to start jerking your soon to be husband off...or is it?
Pairing: Christian Pulisic x Fem!Reader
Requested: Nope
Song Inspo: Eat Your Young - Hozier
Warnings: 18+, minors dni <- seriously this is at another level than i normally write for christian, dom!christian, sub!reader, public sex, mirror sex, dirty talk, pet names (baby, good girl....), just a little bit of degradation, the reader is called a slut and a brat, ass appreciation, hair pulling, anal play and talks of anal sex, talks of cum, mentions of sex toys, unprotected sex, cum play
Notes: so hi. this has been sitting in my drafts since march and it was originally meant to be something small, like a blurb, and now it's completely something else 🤭 its nice to write again. did we like it? feedback is always appreciated.
"Stop it," Christian whispered over the edge of his glass the second he felt your hand touching his leg. He takes a long sip, licking the wine from his bottom lip, something you watch as you turn to look at him. His dark eyes catch yours and he has to stop the chuckle that bubbles in his throat. "You know what I'm talking about," he reacts to the innocent look in your eyes.
"But I don't know what you're talking about," you reply, your hand still caressing his thigh, "I'm not doing anything." His body tenses, his grip growing rigid around his wine glass, his knuckles white and piercing his skin, as you slip your hand onto the inside of his thigh, pricking him with your nails as you squeeze your hand around him. "I'm doing nothing at all," you add, the corner of your mouth twitching, curling into a half-smile, "I'm just sitting here, with my soon to be husband and the rest of our families, enjoying a pre-wedding dinner." You tilt your head to the side, "now tell me, what could I possibly be doing wrong?"
He sets the glass down, his hand disappearing below the table cloth and underneath the table. "You know exactly what you're doing," he whispers, flicking his eyes down and back up the table.
Your families seemed to be oblivious to his change in demeanour, talking amongst themselves, discussing the plans they had for after the wedding. Some were planning to stay in Monaco for a few more days, others unfortunately had to fly back home and resume their day to day lives. But not you.
You two had ten days planned, splitting your days between various European cities and spending your nights with your bodies entangled together, experiencing multiple moments of euphoria.
"I think you should behave yourself," he suggests, taking your hand away. He interlocks your fingers, caging them together to stop you from taking it any further.
"I am behaving myself," you bite back, brushing your lips lightly against his cheek, the unshaven stubble tickling your chin. You didn't like knowing he would be tempted to shave for the wedding. He gives your hand a light squeeze and strokes the back of your hand with his thumb. "But, I was born with two hands, baby," you whisper into his ear, slipping your empty hand over his crotch, his cock pulsating under your touch and bulging in his pants, "and I bet my life you'd love for me to do something about this."
His thighs tense and he tries not to be noticeable as he shifts in his seat. Of course, he'd liked to have your hand wrapped around his cock, stroking him until the crown was weeping with cum, but there was a time and place for that, and that certainly wasn't with your parents sitting on the opposite end of the table. A kiss to his jaw brings him back from his thoughts.
"Tell me you want this," you purr in his ear, unpopping the button, before finding the zipper and tugging it down. There's just enough room for you to manoeuvre your hand inside, a soft gasp hitting his ear as you grab him through his briefs. He coughs to hide a groan, loving and hating the grin pressed against his skin as you kissed his neck. "Tell me you want me to jerk you off under this table."
His cheeks are dusted a light shade of pink. "Behave yourself."
"Or what?"
He removes your hand and leans in closer, his breath, a mix of fresh mint and sweet wine, warm as it hits your ear. "Or I'm dragging you into the nearest restroom," he warns, his voice low and raspy, "and everyone here will know how much of a needy, little slut you are, because we both know you won't be able to keep quiet as I fuck that dirty cunt."
Pleasure tingles down your spine, leaving a dull ache between your legs. His filthy words had left you with an ache only he had the remedy for. "Then do it," you push back, praying you were pushing all the right buttons to gain the reaction you wanted. Excitement builds as he detaches your caged hand but deflates as he reaches for his glass, lifting it to his mouth, acting like he hadn't just proposed the best deal to you.
Your chair drags loudly against the grey, cobbled slabs, the sound disrupting a few nearby conversations; they resumed once they saw you rising to your feet. Christian catches your wrist before you can step away, bringing your hand to his mouth, landing a soft kiss on your engagement ring. "Where are you going?" He quizzes, tilting his head back up at you.
"To the restroom," you reply, dipping to kiss his cheek. It looked like nothing more than a sweet, tender moment being shared between the happily married couple to be to those sitting around you, but it was the perfect disguise for you to whisper, "so you can pound this dirty cunt and treat me like the needy little slut I am," into his ear.
Ten minutes hadn't even passed before Christian had you bent over the restroom sink, your dress pulled up around your waist. You were trapped, with nowhere to move. If you moved forward, the edge of the sink would dig deeper into your ribs, and you could only feel Christian pressing hard into you if you tried to move back.
His hand runs up the back of your leg and over the globe of your ass, his thumb toying with your panties at the top. "It's a shame I can't enjoy this properly," he grunts, the silence filled with the sound of his pants being unzipped. He pushes your dampened panties to the side and notches his cock in line, pushing inside you with a single stroke. "Do you know how fucking tight you feel? Doesn't even want to let me go," he gasps, withdrawing his cock, feeling you clench around him.
You lift your head to look at yourself in the mirror, sinking your teeth into your lower lip at the sight of him standing firmly behind you. He flashes his eyes upwards to the mirror for just a second, giving you a wink that floods your body with more arousal, before looking back down to watch himself. Your focus shifts to the change in your expression, drinking in your loud, desperate moan as he slams his hips, thrusting from the tip all the way down to the base.
"Just had to start something, didn't you?" He does it again on a grunt. Your head drops and you reach for anything to hold onto, hands landing on the edge of the sink, moaning louder as he does it again. "Couldn't just wait another hour?" He fills the restroom with your moans, possessing no care for the others in the restaurant who might hear them. "Needed me that desperately, huh?"
You whimper, lacking any function of speech.
Sinking your hand between your thighs, you pay your clit the attention it was desperate for. "That's my girl," he groans appreciatively, increasing his pace and biting his bottom lip to catch his own moan as you clench around him. His hand moulds to the globe of your ass, squeezing the cheek. "Fucking perfect," he grins as you gasp, "would've painted it all nice and pretty too, if had just been a good girl for me."
"I am a good girl," you protest, grinding your hips to meet every one of his thrusts, chasing your high.
He stops moving, nestling his cock deep inside, and fists a handful of your hair, pulling you up to look at your joint reflection. "That's not what I see." He gets lower to meet his mouth against your ear. "I see a brat," he bites, breathing in the sweet mixture of honey and vanilla, the scent of your arousal consuming him to a state on insanity, "don't you? Look closer-" He pushes you further against the sink, trying to get you closer to the mirror. "-she's right there, just doing anything to get a reaction out of me."
"And I did, didn't I?" You grin, wide and wickedly. "You just couldn't help yourself, could you? Just had to follow me in here and teach your naughty girl a lesson."
"The only lesson you need to learn is how to stop my cum from dripping down your thighs after we both walk out of here."
He keeps your head held firmly in place, pulling harder if you try to look away, ignoring if you plead with him to loosen his grip. He ruts into you. Deeper. Harder. Filling the restroom with the sound of your desperate moans for him not to stop over the echo of skin slapping against skin, all whilst making you watch yourself come apart on his cock.
"Been thinking about our wedding night." He slams into you, over and over again, his body flooding with arousal as he thinks about the shameless debauchery he intends to act out. "Thinking about all the way I'm gonna take you," he grunts, grabbing the base of his cock as he withdraws himself from the grip of your cunt. He slides the tip between your lips, teasingly pushing against your entrance. "In your pretty mouth. In this perfect pussy," he releases his cock and slides back into you, "perhaps, if I'm lucky, this tight, little ass."
Your eyes widen. "Christian?"
"What do you say, baby?" He lìcks the pad of his thumb, pressing it against the tight hole, massaging as he continues the rhythm of his hips. He watches with fascination, his cock pulsating at the sight of his thumb burying into your ass, pushing into you at the sound of your gasp. "Gonna let your husband fill every hole? Claim them as rightfully mine?"
He loosens the tight ring of muscles, relaxing you into the new sensation, relishing the soft whimper that comes with it. You were shaking, knees trembling you could barely stand up, and perspiration had set on your brows as you got lost in this new dimension, feeling pleasure twined with a bit of discomfort, but one you endured because of the euphoric haze that consumed every part of you. You push back and circle your clit faster. This was how you were going to come for him; with his cock stuffing your cunt and his thumb pressed into your ass.
"Gripping my cock so tightly," he groans, letting his mouth hang open, "and making such a mess on your thighs - dripping everywhere, princess."
"Christian...nice...fuck..." You were incapable of stringing a sentence together, jealous that Christian could probably recite everything he knew about chess as he fucked you mercilessly. You could hear the smirk in his huffed laugh, only looking up to confirm it in the mirror's reflection. "There," you squeak, hair ripping from his hand as you force your head down, eyes squeezing shut and screaming, "'m coming!"
He fucks you through your orgasm, the high of the euphoric bliss blurring your vision with a burst of white spots. "Take what you need, baby," he coos softly, smoothing his hand down your back, "done such a good job for me, doing something you've never done before." He retrieves his thumb out of your ass, liking how you whimpered at the loss. "I'm proud of you," he grips your hips, holding you down on his pulsing cock as he thrusts up, spilling deep inside, "always- always so good for me."
You shiver, his breath blowing against your neck as he leans over, his body and warmth pressing into you. A satisfied sigh finds a place on your lips as he kisses your shoulder and neck.
"We are doing that again," you finally say, coming out of your euphoric fog.
"Which part?" Christian laughs, holding your hips as he slides himself free from your cunt's grip. His cock stirs at the sight of his cum leaking from your entrance. "The part where we let an entire restaurant know that I'm fucking you?" He tucks himself back into his briefs and fixes his pants. "Or the part where you let me finger your ass?"
That wide and wicked smile was back on your lips. "Both."
He hums, liking the sound of both. His finger traces over the curve of your ass. "Maybe get something pretty to put in there?" He suggests, licking his lips.
"And here's me thinking your cock would be the pretty thing to put in there," you giggle, now turning to look over your shoulder.
A blush sets on his cheeks, reaching his ears. "Okay, something just as pretty as my cock."
Your eyebrows prick up. "Well, aren't you going to get me some tissue?" You were becoming more aware of the cum dripping from you, the reality of it being one that wasn't extremely sexy.
Christian drops his eyes, his fingers tracing the inside of your thigh, gathering the milky liquid and pushing it up to your pussy. "I meant what I said," he thrusts two fingers into you, his thumb purposely teasing your clit, fucking the cum back in, "you're going to learn how to walk out of here without my cum dripping down your thighs."
You grasp the sink, "Christian!" You were sensitive and wanting more, but shudder as he withdraws his fingers, watching in agony as he sucks them clean.
"Come on," he gives you a soft tap on the ass, "we still have dessert to order."

They'll do whatever you ask. Anything you need. Anything you want. It's yours. They'll fulfill your every desire and whim. Give you the life you had always dreamed about.
And in exchange, you wouldn't just give them your soul. Oh, no. They weren't demons. What good was your soul alone when your purpose was better served alive and well? Your soul was nice, sure but it wasn't all they wanted. It wasn't all they needed. They needed your body, your mind. Your blood. You entirely. Every single fiber of your being was essential and would soon be theirs and theirs alone.
The moment you signed that contract, everything would change. For them and for you.
You just didn't know it yet.
And there was nothing you could do about it.

a/n: it's here! perhaps a bit shorter than i expected, but as i was getting into things, i figured this was a good place to end the first chapter. i am so incredibly excited for this project and can't wait to start getting into the nitty gritty of it all. if you weren't around for the preview a while back, or just missed it, this piece is inspired by the movie 1BR with the addition of vampires, because I just can't help myself. (though, these types of vampires won't be like your typical vampire) this work will be a lot different than my other, in both writing style and in content, as it will have an overall, much darker tone. sure, they'll be plenty of fluff pieces. like i have so many scenarios in my mind i want to do (helping mc move in and putting furniture together, random shopping trips, movie/game nights, letting mc do laundry at their place when your machine just so happens to 'break' etc.) but their relationship with mc will not exactly be the healthiest. hope you all enjoy :)

“So, what do you think?”
You were startled from your thoughts at the voice that spoke up next to you. The empty seat beside you now occupied by the sweet-talking man who had been your tour guide for the day - Yeosang if you were recalling it correctly. It had surprised you how young he had been when you had signed in for the open house an hour or so ago and you were once again struck by that very same notion as he plopped down next to you, pocketing his phone and propping his head up with his right arm.
“It’s very nice,” you replied, eyes once more taking in the scene around you. After touring the available unit for the first half of the showing, you had been brought to the center of the complex that was used as a community center. The outdoors area was enclosed by the building around it and included everything from a garden and greenhouse to a swimming pool and grilling area. “And the community also seems great.”
You referred to the young boy currently sitting in your lap, content with scribbling over one of the applications you had been given at the end of the tour to fill out. You didn’t know anything beyond his given name, Junseo, but he had become attached to you when you had noticed him crying on the ground near the edge of the garden. While the others in your group had swept their eyes right past the sniffling child, you had approached him, rustling through your purse for the bandages you kept there when you noticed the cut on his knee. His mother had thanked you profusely when he had led you to her, too busy attending to another part of the garden to notice what had happened. And though you had left him with her, it didn’t take long for him to return to you, preferring your calm company over the few other kids scattered around the grounds while his mother worked.
You thought it strange, but the wave his mother sent you when she saw him with you told you she didn’t mind. It made you wonder just what sort of community there was here for her and the others to be comfortable letting their children run unsupervised, especially with people they didn’t even know.
It was just another piece of evidence of how nice this place was. You had heard the rumors, but seeing it in person was something else. There wasn’t a single factor about this place that deterred you in any way, and the longer you spent here exploring it, the more you fell in love with it. It was absolutely perfect, everything you could ever wish for, but-
“But…” As though he had read your mind, the man finished your train of thought, a hint of a smile tracing his lips as his eyes traveled to the papers you had left for Junseo to scribble over.
“But it’s a bit out of my price range, I’m afraid.”
A bit was an understatement; the place was double what you could reasonably afford. Though you had known that going in. Since The Paradigm had popped up a few years ago, it had quickly risen the ranks to become one of the most prestigious and highly exclusive apartment complexes in the city. You had known the price for the available unit would be high above your budget, and yet, you couldn’t stop yourself from signing up for the open house the following weekend when you noticed a few spots were still available. It wasn’t often units opened up, with the last one being nearly a year ago, and the timing had been impeccable.
You weren’t really looking for a new place to live. You had one in the south end of town with your boyfriend, and yet, that hadn’t stopped you from looking at available housing in the city on your laptop late at night when he was still at ‘work’, but you wanted out. You had wanted out for months now since you had first caught wind he was cheating, and still cheating, but it had always seemed so impossible. You were still finishing up your last year in school, and even with working enough hours to be considered full time at the bookstore, you could barely afford your half of the rent. A fact he readily reminded you of any time you threatened to leave him. As much as you hated every time he said it, he was right. You did need him. Unless you were willing to sacrifice your own safety and move into a shitty unit in a sketchy part of town, you were stuck exactly where you were. You needed him and he was more than happy to hold it over your head.
Perhaps it was because of this that you had come out today. He had been scheduled weekends at the hospital for the month, leaving you more than free and able to come to the open house without him questioning you on your whereabouts when you left. The Paradigm was a life you could never afford, and yet, it was nice to escape reality for a few hours. To sit and imagine what your life would be like if you hadn’t landed yourself in such a sticky situation. And yet, you hadn’t expected the stab of melancholy that had hit you as you had roamed the studio apartment available, nor as you sat here in the courtyard with the pleasant buzz of the complex’s current tenants as they took advantage of the beautiful day.
“Does that mean you’re looking for a place on your own, then?” he asked, attempting to blow back the piece of hair the wind had cast in front of his eyes.
“Myself?” you asked, unable to stop the tiny stab of panic that ran through you at the mention of you being on your own. Was that something you could really do? Was leaving him something you could really do? “Uh, yeah, it would just be me.”
“Well, if you ask me, it doesn’t hurt to still apply. We’re always more than willing to negotiate prices for the right person,” he hummed, fingers tapping against the table. “Though it would probably be best if I grabbed you a new copy. Junseo seems to have taken yours for himself.” At the mention of his name, Junseo looked up and matched the goofy smile Yeosang sent his way.
“That’s very kind of you, but even then…” You turned your face away, fighting the blush the embarrassment your current situation brought. Despite attempting to dress up for the event, you still stuck out from the others who had signed up. The designer clothes and custom handbags a stark contrast from the outfit you had thrifted the day before. Hell, even Junseo had nicer clothes than you to run around the garden in. “To be completely honest, I really just wanted to get an inside peek of this place. I knew I couldn’t afford to live somewhere like this at the moment, or perhaps ever, but I thought it might be fun to just imagine it for a moment.”
You resituated Junseo’s position in your lap, taking in the people milling around the grounds. It was a beautiful day, bright and warm compared to the rainy days that had plagued the city for the past week. It was the perfect day to spend time outside and enjoy what little remained of summer and you could see yourself fitting in well here. Helping out in the garden in between playing with the few children scattered about. Maybe even take a dip in the pool afterwards to cool off from a hard day’s work before lounging in a nearby chair to soak up the last bits of the summer sun.
It was just too bad it was a lifestyle you could never afford on your own. Not while you were still in school and already struggling with bills and debt as it was.
“But you are currently looking for a new place to live, right?”
“It’s not an immediate necessity at the moment, but yes,” you nodded, “if given the opportunity, I would move in a heartbeat. Not just here, but anywhere. As long as it was safe and something I could call my own.”
“Then fill out an application.” He ruffled around in his bag, pulling out another application and pushing it towards you. “I’m close with the owner and can put in a good word for you. Just fill it out, list the rent you can feasibly pay at the moment, and we might be able to work something out. After all, we’re much more concerned about quality than quantity here at Paradigm.”
“You would do that?” Your eyes widened, wondering why on earth this man would do that for you when the rest of the group you were with would be willing to pay twice the starting rent just for the opportunity to say they lived in the most exclusive complex in the city. “Why?”
“I like to think I have a nose for good people,” he smiled, fingers tapping against the application, “and you’re a good person, y/n, I can smell it. So, come on, Junnie,” he reached for the boy on your lap, ignoring the pout that crossed his lips as he took him from your hold, “let’s get you back to your mother so the pretty lady can fill out her application.”
He left you at that, but only made it a few feet before he was stopped by a nearby couple in the tour group. By the glance they sent your way, you knew they had overheard Yeosang’s mention of putting in a good word for you and hoped to earn a similar feat for themselves. After all, it didn’t matter who was the first person to apply for the unit or who was the highest bidder when it came to The Paradigm. You didn’t get to choose whether or not you lived here. They chose you. And a good word from the tour guide was exactly what you needed to get in.
Not wanting to stick around for the conversation, Junseo wriggled his way out of Yeosang’s grasp and made off in the direction of his mother with one last toothy grin in your direction.
You turned back to the second application he had handed you, twirling the pen in your hand as you mulled it over. None of it made much sense in your mind. Why would they select your application when there were hundreds of others that would willingly pay triple what you could? But even if that was true, and the chances of you getting in were close to zero, what did you have to lose?  What was the worst that could happen? That you’d be left exactly where you started. In a shitty situation, but no shittier than it already was. And on the tiny chance it did go through, well, your entire life could change. You would have that fresh start you had been yearning for so long.
That and, well, there was something charming about Yeosang, something about him that was enticing. It didn’t slip your notice that he had called you pretty in passing, and though you knew it was just the way his personality seemed to be, you still felt a pull towards him. He was someone you could get along with, that much you could tell. Someone that you would enjoy getting to know and become friends with if you had the chance to.
So, before you could overthink it and talk yourself out of it, you pulled the application closer towards you and began filling it out.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
If there was one thing in life that stressed you out, it was phone calls. You never knew what about them always caused your anxiety to spike each time you saw an incoming call flash up on your phone screen, but you avoided them as much as you could, preferring to either text or talk in person. So, when a call from an unknown number interrupted the song coming from your car’s speakers, you made to silence it knowing that if it was important, they would just leave a message. However, something about the number on your screen seemed familiar and made you pause.,
You didn’t want to talk to anyone at the moment, not after all the shit you had dealt with the first half of your shift for the day, but your finger still hovered over the accept button as you quickly searched your brain for the reason behind its familiarity. Thinking it might just be your doctor finally returning your call for the refill you had been waiting for or even possibly a call on one of the countless job applications you had been filling out the past few weeks, you grudgingly accepted figuring it would be better to get it over with now instead of living with the stress of what it might be the rest of your shift.
“Hello?”
“Hi, is this l/n y/n?”
“Um, yeah.” You shifted the phone in your hand, trying to place the familiarity of the voice on the other end. “This is y/n.”
“This is Kang Yeosang from Paradigm. I’m calling to let you know that your application for unit 604 has been accepted.”
“Wait, are you serious?”
You couldn’t hold back the gasp his response elicited, but you were able to catch the string of curse words before they slipped out. Despite Yeosang’s promise of putting in a good word for you, you had never expected anything to come out of it. Not when you had followed through with his suggestion and wrote down the actual amount you could feasibly pay for the place. And though you had held on to some hope something would come from it, you had already come to accept the fact you would never hear from them again.
“I can assure you, I’m quite serious,” he chuckled. “I talked with the owner about your application and he was more than willing to accept it as long as you were willing to accept a few additional stipulations that I’d like to discuss with you now if you have the time.”
“Oh, okay.”
You did your best to hide your disappointment, already fearing the worst. Despite Yeosang’s insistence they were willing to negotiate on pricing, you should have known they would never just drop the rent in half for you because he had felt pity towards you.
“Don’t worry, it’s not like we’re going to ask you to sell your soul,” he chuckled. “You see, one of our administrative assistants recently put in her resignation and we’re in need of a replacement. When we looked over your application, we noticed the address of your current residence and place of work are on the other side of the city and came to the conclusion you would likely be in need of a job with a better commute if you were to move here.”
You felt yourself begin to relax; the dread his earlier statement had caused slowly being replaced with excitement once more as he began to explain himself. Was he alluding to what you thought he was?
“We’d like to extend a job offer towards you here at The Paradigm, which if you were to accept, would cover the cost of your rent in addition to a biweekly stipend to cover any other expenses you might have.”
“And what exactly would the job entail?” you asked, trying hard to cover the shock his reply gave you and trying just as hard to not let your hopes get too high before you figured out exactly what it was he was offering you. There had to be a catch. The offer was just too good to be true. So what was it? “I’m finishing up my last year of university online, but I would still need some flexibility in my schedule to account for my classes.”
“Oh, it would just be your typical administrative work. You’d mostly just be assisting myself and the other managers here and we’re more than willing to work around your class schedule,” Yeosang replied without skipping a beat. “I understand this is quite a bit of information for you to go through and a big decision to make, so please take your time. I’ll be sending an email to you here soon that includes a detailed description of the job alongside the logistics of your pay and housing for you to look through when you have a moment. It will help in giving you a clearer idea of just what you would be signing up for if you were to accept.”
You were silent, unsure of what exactly to say. What could you say? Everything you had wished for the past few months was finally being extended towards you. A new job, housing of your own, and most importantly, a way out of the toxic relationship you had been stuck in for so long. All of it. Everything you dreamed of for so long, now within reach.
There had to be a catch, right? It couldn’t be as good as it seemed, right? So, what was it?
“Like, I said, you don’t have to give me an answer now. Read through the emails I’ll be sending you and just give us a call back sometime within the next two weeks when you’ve decided.”
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
You had briefly looked over the emails Yeosang sent you over the last few minutes of your lunch break, but it wasn’t until the next morning that you had a chance to sit down and really go through them, bogged down with school work when you had gotten home from work the night before.
You were curled up on the couch with a blanket, nursing a cup of tea as you read through the email for the fifth time that morning, trying to figure out what the catch was. But just as always, you couldn’t find anything. Everything seemed straightforward and in order. No loops or holes or questionable activities in sight. The hours were flexible to account for your current classes, and they only required you to start working full time when you graduated at the end of the year. And yet, despite only having to work half the hours you currently were, it was still enough to cover your rent and utilities, as well as a more than generous stipend as long as you agreed to stay with them for the next two years.
There were a few other stipulations lined out towards the end of the agreement, but they were menial tasks compared to what you had been expecting, and something all occupants were asked to follow. It was mostly spending a few hours every month volunteering in the community garden - which also paid out in receiving part of the harvest for free - and then donating blood every other month as long as you were in fit condition to do so. You had found this last one strange until you remembered reading about how The Paradigm also ran their own blood bank which served the nearby hospitals, and requested their residents give through the program as part of their fee for living there.
You sighed as you reached the end of the email once again, eyes glancing up at the apartment around you. As usual for a Monday morning when he was working weekends, your boyfriend was nowhere to be found. He claimed work as the culprit per usual, but you weren’t oblivious to his charade anymore, not like you used to be. It wasn’t work that kept him out so late. It wasn’t his twelve hour shifts running long that kept him sleeping at the hospital instead of coming home. And when he finally came home tonight long after you had already gone to bed, you’d be stuck acting like nothing was wrong on the following days he had off.
You had wanted out of this hell for so long, but just always assumed it would be impossible, especially at your current stage in life. He was several years older than you and had a steady, well-paying job as a nurse at the nearby hospital. His offer had been so enticing when he had asked you to move in with him nearly two years ago, but that had been a different time. A time where his pretty face and charismatic character had swept you in before trapping you here with him with no way out.
You didn’t understand why he was so intent on having you stay. It was clear his interest in you had waned over the past year, but anytime you mentioned leaving, he flipped. Those were the nights when everything became blurred. You always went into the conversation with the full intent of leaving, oftentimes bags already packed and ready to go, only to find yourself curled up in bed with him once again the following morning, head pounding, memories blurred, and bags unpacked and put away.
He was always sweet to you in the days that followed, giving you his full attention and telling you how much he needed you and how much you needed him. Of just how important you were to him and how he would never be able to survive without you. But his words were only ever short lived, and he’d be back to his old habits a week or so later, creating an endless cycle with no way out. Or at least you had always thought.
All you had to do was accept the offer in front of you and you would have that fresh start you so desperately craved. No more shitty relationship. No more shitty job. No more shitty apartment. And no more feeling like complete shit because of all of it.
In front of you was the opportunity of a lifetime. An opportunity to live at one of, if not the most, prestigious complexes in the city, and for all intents and purposes, being paid to live there. All you had to do was accept. Accept the offer they had handed you and start your life over again.
And as Yeosang had joked, they weren’t even asking for your soul in exchange. It was simply being the right person at the right time. Not that it had mattered, you’d probably give it to them anyways if they had, gladly giving it away for the hell you lived in now.
Your hand hovered over the phone beside you, debating whether or not to call the number Yeosang had left for you and make the active decision to finally change your life.
“Thank you for calling The Paradigm Complex, how may I help you?”
You didn’t recognize the voice at the other end, signaling it wasn’t Yeosang you were speaking to this time around. And though it did make you a bit nervous, unsure of what the other workers might be like, Yeosang had promised everyone there was a delight to work with, including the upper management.
“Um, hi, this is l/n y/n, and I’m calling about my acceptance into unit 604.”
“Ah, Miss l/n, it’s a pleasure to hear from you. I’m Jung Wooyoung, one of the other Property Managers here at the Paradigm. Is there a question I can help you with or do you by chance have an answer towards your acceptance here?”
“Well, I’ve gone through the email you sent me a few times now and I think…” you paused for just a second, taking one final look at the apartment around you. “I think I would like to accept your offer if that’s okay with you.”
“Oh, that’s wonderful to hear! We’ve all been very excited to have you on board with us here after everything our Yeosang has had to say about you. He has a great eye for people, after all,” he chuckled, easing some of your earlier worries. Yeosang was right. He seemed nice. And if these were the types of people you would be working with, it would be a vast improvement over your current workplace. “We’ll need you to come in sometime within the next week to go over and sign some paperwork before everything can go through and we can hand you your keys. Is there a time or day that works best for you?”
“Oh, well, I’m free today if that works,” you reply, feeling more eager than ever to finally go through with it now that you had finally made that first step. It was really happening. You were getting out of here. “It’s last minute, I know, so if not, I don’t think I’d be able to come in until Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.”
It was only a partial lie. You would probably have time to make it in before their office closed tomorrow or any time on Thursday, but then your boyfriend would start to get curious as to why you were either out late, or going out when you didn’t have work. And until all the paperwork was signed and everything was certain, you didn’t want to mention any of this to him. Not when he would do anything and everything to keep you from following through and leaving him.
“We could definitely fit you in sometime today if that’s what works best for you,” he replied and you could hear the distant clacking of a keyboard. “I don’t think Seonghwa is too busy today, so I’ll send him a message and let him know you’re coming in so he can help you get everything signed and situated. Does around two work for you?”
“Yeah, that works great.” It was impossible to keep the smile off your face as you switched your phone over to your other ear. “Do I just come in the same entrance I did for the open house?”
“The gate to the parking garage will be locked, but just page the front desk when you pull up and I can let you in. From there, just park where you did before in the visitor section and I can once again let you inside the building when you get to the door.” He paused for a second and you hear the muffled sounds of voices as someone approached him. “Sorry about that,” he continued after a few moments, “Seonghwa just popped in, so I let him know you’d be headed this way in a few hours. He told me to let you know that either Mingi or Yunho should also be free around that time to draw a sample of your blood for testing. That way we can see if you’re fit to be a donor with us during your stay, so make sure to drink plenty of fluids and eat beforehand.”
“You do it all there?”
“We have our own clinic on the property, yes, and though it’s mostly used as a blood bank for our give-back program, our staff on hand is also available and qualified to help with any other medical needs you might have during your time with us. All of which is completely covered.”
“Oh, wow.”
“It’s just one of the many added benefits you’ll have while you’re living and working here with us. All of which will be gone over with Seonghwa when you’re finishing up your paperwork later this afternoon,” he replied, and you could hear the chuckle your earlier response caused. "We like to think of The Paradigm as its own individual community here in the city and aim to be as self-sufficient as we can, so if there’s anything you ever need, just ask. We’re always more than happy to help each other here. Our only request is that you return the favor for us whenever the roles happen to be reversed.”
And they will. Oh, they will. You could count on that.
And there was nothing you could do about it.

everytime i see the name v you can be assured that i am going to butt in.
honestly, v is definitely the type to hire a hitman just because he got in an argument with someone. sure, he could deal with it by himself — but he is a lazy bum and has his... "priorities".
v meeting up with the hitman and immediately his jaw falls off. the most he was expecting is a bald man in shades and a suit, not an incarnate of a divine being!
v watching hitman aim their sniper on the victim — he can't help but observe the focus in your eyes and the steadiness and precision of your hand near the trigger. he praises the beauty of your hands, and unfortunately, his mind got to wandering. thinking about how your hands would feel on his cock — would you focus on his cock like you focus the aim on your targets? would you stroke his cock with absolute precision?
he's put out of his state when he hears a 'bang!' and flinches.
"the job is done, mr. vince."
"could you... do me next?"
"..."
This is bullshit.
If he knew he had to go outside to have that bastard killed, he would've just done it himself.
V drums his fingers against the dinner table - eyes scanning the venue for anyone that might fit his imagined description of the person he's looking for. Rugged, shaven head, nice suit and tie - maybe a few visible scars from their line of work. While there a number of suits in a fine establishment, they were just the run of the mill rich assholes he'd grown accusation to through his life.
Sweat beading down his neck, V pulls at his collar. He hadn't even dressed up for his grandmother's funeral a year ago and now here he was in a nice button up and slacks for a complete stranger - and it isn't even for a date. If the waitress came by again to check if he was ready to order his tie would be an easy ticket out of here without the embarrassment of walking out looking like a dateless loser. He can already hear them laughing whichever way this goes. Frustrated, V folds his arms, shutting his eyes as tries to blend with the background of the uncomfortable booth he sat in. Maybe if he keeps them closed long enough when they open he'll be back at home - or dead. Either is an acceptable option at this point.
"Excuse me-"
V shoots up from his seat as warm breath fans his ear. The voice, no louder than a whisper, sends a chill down his spine as it flows from the lips of its speaker like smooth honey. A far cry from the unpleasantly sweet tone that waitress threw on to hide her thinly veiled annoyance at seeing V still hogging an empty table. He looks up at the looming figure at his table side - jaw slack as his eyes adjust to the light that envelopes them.
"I don't mean to interrupt whatever it is you are doing, but would you happen to be a Mr. Vincent Carbone?"
V's mouth opens like the jaws of a dying animal fighting for its final breath. The person before him was dressed in date casual clothing. He stares at their exposed collar from the lower cut of their shirt and toned muscles from their sleeves. He rubs at his eyes. This... couldn't be them. He had to be looking at a model. V's standards were pretty low his own admission, but from the way they carried themselves down to their physical attributes proved they were way out of his league.
"Yes... um, that's me... Just Vince is fine."
They tighten their lips with a small nod. V makes a note of how soft they look compared to his own chapped skin. He follows their every move as they sit down in their seat across from him - wasting no time as they pull a black folder from the brief case brought with them. He watches as their calloused fingertips turn each page - pondering what they might feel like around his-
"So - are you this guys secretary or....."
V flinches as their eyes snap up at him - emotionless face plagued by a hint of annoyance at his query. "I can assure you I do all of my work by myself, Mr. Carbone.... From the information you've given me, it appears you have had a fued with this person for quite some time despite numerous attempts to block and/or have them removed from the group of individuals you play games with, and wish to escalate matters further."
Breathing through their teeth, they shut the folder - placing it flat on the table. "Had I not done my research into your person, I'd consider this whole thing."
V feels tightness in the crotch of his slacks at the use of that word. Mr. Carbone. He's been referred to as such before, but the way it rolls off their tongue- V picks up his glass of water and fits it to his lips, trembling hands spilling the cool liquid all over his white shirt.
"R....research... You... know about me?"
"Yes. It's common for me to look into the backgrounds of all my clients. Make sure they have the funds to pay for my services and take note of what I can take as collateral if anything comes up. I know for certain you've got the cash, but the rest is still up in the air."
V swallows hard. "I already had the records of our conversation scrubbed and it's not like we talked much anyway... I don't trust cops much either."
Amused, the hitman's expression shifts from its blank slate for the first time as they offer him a small smile. "Good boy...."
V slaps a hand over his mouth to stiffle the whimper that almost slips out. The hitman retrieves a small flip phone from their briefcase and slides it across the table.
"From now on you will contact me from this device only. We will discuss how what methods you prefer in due time. Do you remember what else we talked about when we spoke over the phone?"
"Yea.... Half up front, half went it's done." V pulls a crumbled envelope from his pocket and hands it to them - savoring the brief moment of contact between his sweaty hands and the heat of their skin through their gloves. They count the bills briefly before sliding it into their back pocket. What V wouldn't do to be that piece of paper.
"I look forward to working with you, Sir. Something tells me we'll be hearing a lot from each other in the future."
".....you promise?"

late shift
Shuttle for Mars is departing now. Please keep hands, feet, tails, and other appendages clear of the yellow line.
‘Nice, finally get off work on time for once! Man is it empty, way less busy than the 5:45 one…
Are they sleeping? Please tell me they’re sleeping…’
“Snnrk…”
‘Oh good they are, oooh lots of empty seats next to them! Nice.’
The young human sits across the large figure and looks around.
‘Wonder why everyone else is sitting so far away from this guy? He’s not that much scarier than a Alteauh…OH! He’s an Orc! An actual Orc, oh this is so cool! Wait. Calm down, control yourself. Orc’s are people too, not some exotic animal in a zoo….he’s sooo cool looking tho!’
The human smiles and takes out their headphones and listens to some music and take in the view they see through the shuttle’s windows. From time to time they peek at the orc, can’t helping themselves from people-watching him.
Like what most humans imagined, he was huge. Easily more than 7 feet tall, with large calloused hands bigger than their head. He had large tusks but unlike the stereotypes he was well trimmed with well relatively kept hair. It would have neater had there not been dust in it. The orc wore dirty cloths and work boots. Beside them what looked like a tool box and bag.
‘Must be a construction worker or works in a trade’ they mused
‘Poor guy, he’s gotta be exhausted to sleep here. At least he gets to go home now.’
The shuttle shakes and with it so does the sleeping giant. Rocking side to side.
'That's not good.' They nervously slide off their headphones.
The turbulence increases until the sleeping orc leans too far and starts fall face first off his seat.
“OH SHIT!” Diving to their knees they manage to catch his head and shoulders.
“Mm?”
“You okay?” Damn he's heavy!
“Mmm…sorry.” Rubbing the sleep from his eyes he slowly got back into his seat, the turbulence now gone.
“No worries, I just didn’t want you to hit your head.”
“Heh, wouldn't be the first time I’ve done it.”
after rubbing his eyes a bit more and a crack of the neck he looks at them, brain finally working to some degree.
“…wait. You caught me?”
“Uh-huh”
“But you’re so small! Are you hurt?”
“You're not the first sleeping giant I’ve caught. I’m alright.”
“I am so sorry for that. I just finished working a 12 hour shift fixing the 1st and 3rd engine rooms and couldn’t help myself from dozing off.”
They whistle. “12 hours? No wonder you’re tired! If I were you I’d be in a coma.”
“Ah but surely you have a difficult job yourself. How else would you be able to catch me?”
“No, nothing like yours! I just work at a youngling centre.”
“The one on the ship?”
“That’s the one.”
“...YOUR ONE OF THE BRAVE WARRIORS WHO RISKED THEIR LIVES TO PROTECT THE CHILDREN??!”
“…you’ve heard of us?”
“Every orc and warrior worth their blade knows of your valiant deeds!! Tell me, what is your name??”
“Kim, uh and you are?”
“Fenrir. It is truly an honor to meet someone of your bravery and intelligence."
"Likewise! I've heard that the orc species are a true warrior race."
For the rest of the trip the two talked. Kim sharing how her and Max built such a safe room in the centre, which lead to the two realizing how similar each other's planets are.
"You have wind whirlpools as well? I thought they only existed on Bantor!"
"Well we call them hurricanes and tornadoes but yeah. Do you guys have hail?"
"Not where I grew up but nearby farther up they get a week or two of light hail showers during the fall. What about animals? Do you have reptiles bigger than an adult with large teeth and live in rivers? We call them darthrang."
"Oh we call them crocodiles!"
"Amazing! To think that your species live in a world much like mine!"
When the shuttle finally reached it's destination the two went their separate ways. A few days later they meet again, this time on the later shuttle. They sit and talk and create a routine of sorts where they became each others travelling companion for the trip to Mars.
One day however, Fenrir stopped coming. The human was saddened as she enjoyed his company but was soon surprised when seeing him at the centre.
"Kim! I've been transferred to stay on the ship so I won't be taking the shuttle to Mars anymore."
"Oh...well, as you know I only go home at the end of the week so maybe we can hang out now. Like eat lunch together or have a drink after work...or something like that!"
"Actually we'll be seeing each other everyday now. But if you don't get sick of me then yes, lets each lunch together."
"Great! But why will I be seeing you everyday?"
"Because after telling my family about you and the centre they've enrolled my nieces and nephews and younger siblings here...and I offered to drop them off and pick them up."
It was then that Kim noticed the dozen of orc children hiding behind Fenrir. The tallest and what looked the eldest of them stepped forward.
"Hello, I am Athea, uncle Fenrir said your one of the ones who saved the centre."
"Yes, my name is Kim. It's great to meet you AtheaaAA!" The orc girl pulled the human into a tight hug, lifting the adult woman off of her feet.
"Thank you for saving Nova." she mumbled into her chest.
'Ah, the Captain's daughter' Kim thought. "I was just doing what any teacher would do."
After a moment the human was put down and lead the children into the centre. The day went well. Fenrir's young family members were quickly won over by the humans, first with the saving of the centre, then with how they understood how wonderful their planet was rather than terrifying or deadly.
They were also greatly intrigued by how such a small species could survive in a planet that was thought to only be habitable to orcs.
"How can you carry us?" asked Thor, one of Fenrir's youngest brothers. "We're much bigger than a human child."
"Yeah but your not bigger than my cousins who are teenagers. Also just last month I had like 10 kids climbing on me. Two were tighalaxes."
"Your joking!"
...
"It that tumpon?!"
"Hm? We call it maafe, but it's also known as peanut stew, do you want some? It doesn't have any meat in it though."
"Guys Max has tumpon!! Can you tell Fenrir where we can buy the ingredients?"
"Of course. Finally I'll finish what gran gave me without having to gain 10 pounds."
And thus the first day ended on a high note! Now if only Kim could figure out why the children looked at her and nodded while talking to Fenrir...
So this based off of a post by @llamagoddessofficial about humans meeting actual space orcs. Sadly I can't find the actual post. but yeah, here u go, space orc and human meet cute

Wisps of smoke left his nose like an angry bull. He tapped the cigarette on the edge of the ashtray in front of him, watching as the ash fell into it. It had started out clean and empty, but since Jim arrived a small pile of cigarette butts had accumulated there. He nursed his (sixth? seventh?) drink, focused on the melting ice cubes that swirled around the glass.
"Need a drinking partner?"
Hopper looked up from the bar, his eyes widening a little when he saw it was you. Of course it was. He'd jacked off to the thought of you that very morning, so why the hell wouldn't he have to deal with speaking to you as if he hadn't just mentally fucked you into next week? "What?"
You snickered slightly and shifted to sit beside him at the bar. Unbeknownst to Jim, you were already a couple of drinks in, which was why you were so calm about approaching him. You'd considered this a few times before after seeing him drink his problems away, but today was the day you grew a pair, for some reason. "Are you having another drink?"
"Probably," came his mumbled response. He looked at you, "Why?"
You pretended not to notice his gaze drop briefly to your breasts and gave him a coy smile. "I'll get your next one. You look like you need a drinking partner. You're always in here by yourself."
"(y/n), I couldn't ask you to do that," Jim said, sitting up to look at you properly. Why was a young, beautiful thing like you bothering to speak to him? He arched his brows. "By myself--? That's by choice, not because I don't have friends, you know."
"You didn't ask me, I offered. I'm buying the Chief of Police a drink. Least I can do for you doing your duty," you grinned, ignoring his further comments. He closed his eyes in annoyance, sighed through his nose and begrudgingly agreed.
-
"Let me give you a ride home," Hopper told you an hour or so later, sliding the empty glasses toward the barkeep. "Least I can do after you bought me a single drink."
You grinned upon seeing a smile twitch on his usually stoic face, then slid on your coat. "I didn't tell you to pay for my other drinks. I just... let you do it. It's fine, I'll drive myself home."
"No, no-- not happening." He was already ushering you out, a large hand hovering near your lower back. The bitterly cold air of the evening woke you up slightly, and you grimaced at the change in temperature. "I'll hafta arrest you for drink-driving. Wouldn't want that."
Being slightly merry, you bit your lip into a smile of mischief and eyed him. "Would that involve you putting me in handcuffs?"
That kinky little shit. I knew it. Hopper stared at you for a few moments, then continued to whisk you to his truck. "Yes."
Jim helped you into the passenger side of the truck, closed the door for you and then made his way to the driver's seat. He cleared his throat and glanced your way. You had slid your coat down your shoulders just a little to allow the cold air around your breasts. And yes, he could see your nipples trying to poke through the fabric of your shirt. Dark gaze lingered on them for a moment before he cleared his throat again and switched on the engine. "Thanks, uh, for keepin' me company tonight," he mumbled.
"Oh-- don't mention it. It's nice to not drink by myself for once."
"You there a lot?" he queried, taking a look behind before reversing out of the parking spot.
"Mm, sometimes," you hummed, popping the cap off of your lipstick and topping it up in the mirror. Hopper wished you wouldn't do that. It was making his mind go to places, places it had been that same morning. Making him think about how beautiful you'd look with those beautiful plump lips wrapped around his cock, pumping and sucking...
And then you broke his trance with a question. "Should you even be driving?"
"What?"
You returned the lid to your lipstick and put it in your handbag. "You're technically drink-driving, Chief."
God. Stop calling me that. He glanced your way, a gentle smirk tugging at his lips. "What'd you just call me?"
Brows arched, you stared at him and tried to ignore the pulsing between your thighs. After a short pause, you answered him, albeit a little quieter. "Chief."
"Exactly. I'm the Chief of Police, I can do what I want." And what I want is to fuck your brains out.
You simply rolled your eyes and chuckled a little, opting to look out of the window. Jim took that opportunity to steal a few glances at your body, the way your skirt perfectly hugged your hips, how the low-cut top showed off your delicious breasts. How he'd like to grab them, knead them, suckle on your perfect little nipples. He swallowed thickly, making an attempt to ignore his twitching cock. No, not twitching-- it was throbbing.
When you turned to look for any packs of cigarettes Jim had laying around his car, it wasn't difficult to see what he was trying to hide. It only made your core ache more for him, and from what you could see, he was big. You diverted your gaze from it quickly, locating the cigarettes, and sparked up. The first exhale definitely helped to calm you down, but it was barely a distraction from how sopping wet you felt.
The rest of the ride was quiet, almost awkward considering how you were both feeling (unbeknownst to each other), but Hopper broke the silence when he pulled into the trailer park. "Which number are you again?" he mumbled. He knew the number.
"Right there." You pointed at your trailer, which was painted light blue (a DIY job Eddie Munson had helped you with, much to Steve's dismay).
Hopper pulled up at the side of your home, hands resting in his lap to conceal what was going on down there. A small smile was given to you. "Home sweet home."
You noticed that he didn't turn off the engine, which was a slightly disheartening, but your horny little brain had other plans. One hand rested on the door handle and you looked across to him, eyebrows raised. "Aren't you gonna walk me to my door?"
Oh, God, why? He looked mildly annoyed, staring at you silently for a moment. "The free ride home not enough?"
"Nope." You flashed him a grin.
Rolling his eyes, Jim switched off the engine and exited the car. In his mind, he was hoping his erection had subsided a little, but he knew full well it wasn't going away until he took care of it. All he had to do was pray you didn't notice. "Alright," he helped you down from the truck, savouring every moment his hands touched your body, "five more steps and you're home safe."
"Huh, chivalry isn't dead, after all," you joked, walking with him to your porch. You fumbled to grab your keys and began to unlock the door.
"Sure," he cracked a small smile again. You were sweet-- he found you to have a decent sense of humour, too. "Uh, thanks again for keepin' me company."
You removed the key and opened the door, looking up at him. "You're welcome. Do you want to come inside for a bit?"
For a moment, Jim's eyes widened and he fell silent. He looked inside, then back to you. "No, I should get goin'. Got stuff to do."
"What stuff?" You held his gaze, subtly ran your tongue along your upper lip.
"Y'know-- laundry. Got some, uh, dirty dishes--"
But he was cut off. Your hand, much smaller than his, had found the outline of his erection, and you were gently rubbing it through his work-slacks. "What else?" you breathed, watching the poor man try to catch his breath.
He swallowed thickly, all too aware of how heavy he was breathing. Gaze dropped to watch your hand, then slowly rose to capture all of the beauty your body held. His eyes finally met yours again. "Gotta take a shower... maybe it can wait..." Without warning, he pushed you inside and slammed the door behind you both, shoving you against the nearest wall. It made the framed photos there shake, but Hopper didn't care. You squealed with surprise-- his cock rubbed against you as his lips met yours, all hunger and pent-up frustration and passion. He groaned against your lips, only pulling away after a few seconds to catch his breath and look at you. Yes, it was clear. You both wanted the same thing.

a/n: i’m having brainworms AND i’m at work. double homicide is more likely than u think.
summary: simon calls in the dead of night.

pt 2
Your reaction to the sudden hum of your phone beneath your pillow was almost embarrassingly slow.
You raise your head slightly and feel around for it. Then, the ringing stops. You drop your head back down onto the pillow and only a few minutes pass before it starts again. This time, you’re unsure if you grab the phone faster because you expected it or because you were annoyed from interrupted sleep.
“Hello?” You say, groggily.
“Hey, sweetheart.” Simon’s voice comes through the phone and any twinge of anger is washed away in an instant. “Sorry, did I wake you?”
“It’s alright. Is everything okay?” You reply, the back of your hand rubbing at an itch in your eye. A hush of white noise is the only sound that comes out. You can almost imagine him somewhere with the phone up to his ear, staring off into empty space. “Simon.”
He inhales sharply, “Yeah, I’m alright.” Twisting onto your side, you start to fiddle with a bit of your hair. “What’d you do today?”
“You mean yesterday?’” A soft smile traces its way across your mouth.
“Yesterday.” He corrects himself. His own exhaustion is evident in his voice.
You shift around under your blankets a bit more and take a deep breath to wake up a bit more. “Are you sure you’re alright?”
“I’m sure.” He says. “I just wanted to hear your voice for a bit.”
You hum in response. His answer does nothing to quell your nerves. If anything, it’s made them slightly worse. ”I didn’t really do anything special. I had the day off, so that was nice. Got some cleaning done—went for a walk. I even got some reading done, if you’d believe it.” His end of the line stays silent. “I cooked lunch but I kind of overestimated the portions, so I guess I’ve got dinner ready until the end of the week.”
“A day off sounds nice.” He replies.
“Yeah?” You sink down into your blankets. “Maybe, you could use one yourself?”
Phone calls weren’t out of the ordinary. But, phone calls in the dead of night most certainly were.
“Maybe.” Simon says, absentmindedly. “One of these days.”
“Any time soon?” You say. The line falls silent again and you fill it with a soft sigh. “You sound so tired, honey.”
“I am tired.” He replies. You smile sadly, grateful that he can’t see your face. Then, you see the image of him in your head sink lower in his seat as he pinches his nose bridge.
“I know, I’m sorry.” You say, moving the phone from one ear to the other. “I’m glad you called me.”
There’s a sudden pang of guilt in your chest. You didn’t have very much to say or offer in terms of comfort.
He hums in response, “You must be tired.”
“Only a little.” You shrug, forgetful of the fact that this conversation was happening over the phone for just a split second.
“I should let you get back to sleep.”
“No, I’m okay.” Embarrassingly, you nearly blurt out the words. Then, you try to pretend to not be embarrassed at all. “I’ve missed you.” It shouldn’t really have been as embarrassing as it felt.
“I missed you.” He responds, “But, I’ve got more time to talk to you tomorrow—“ He shifts, and sighs. “—and I should get some sleep myself. I just needed to hear your voice.”
Wanting and needing were two very different things, you think to yourself. You fidget with a bit of your hair, and pull the blankets up over your shoulder.
“Are you sure?” The line is silent again with just the slight static pouring through.
“You don’t have to worry about me.” He says. “Just been itching to get back home lately.”
There aren’t any words you can think of to say. Even this far into the relationship, Simon never had much to say anyways. He couldn’t be asked, he couldn’t be pushed. It was a waiting game. And, sometimes losing was the only option.
“Yeah.” You whisper, another sentence lingers somewhere in the back of your mouth but you decide against saying it at all. “We’ll talk again soon?”
“Tomorrow.” It comes out firm, like he’s saying it to himself. “I promise.”
“It’s okay, if you can’t.”
“I will.” He says. “I’m gonna let you go now.”
“Okay.” You answer, nearly choking on the word. “I love you.”
“I love you, sweetheart.” His voice has fallen to a near whisper, like he’s scared someone else will hear it. You smile, in an attempt to stifle a laugh.
“Bye.”
“Good night.”

↳ fluff, tamlin is possessive but not in a toxic way. no other warnings apply! enjoy, dears <3
you woke around nine that morning, impossibly tangled in the soft sheets of your shared bed with tamlin. a soft breeze flowed through the open windows and the scent of your favorite tea on the bedside, enchanted to stay warm, floated to your nose. you smiled at tamlin's thoughtfulness and rose from the warm blankets.
the spring court was peaceful outside, just as it was most mornings now. alis sensed your waking and knocked on the door softly, entering to help you begin your day. at a leisurely pace, she braided your hair delicately, pulling out a special, ornate comb that tamlin had gifted you months prior which sat beautifully tucked in to your hair.
"i think you should wear something pink today," she said after placing the brush down on the sink and turning your seat so you could see your reflection. beautiful, as always.
"why pink?" you stood and came out to the closet to flick through your clothes.
"i think just pink goes best with the comb," she answered but there was something else about the choice that she wasn't revealing. nevertheless, you chose a pink chiffon number that flowed nicely in the breeze outside. alis hummed in approval before sending you downstairs to breakfast.
the breakfast table was laid out nicely with bowls of fruit surrounding plates of sweet treats and pastries. none of that mattered though as tamlin sat at the head of the table, eyes focused on something in his lap. when he heard your footsteps against the checkered floor, he stood quickly, nearly knocking the chair over.
"hello, petal," he greeted warmly. you blushed and came toward him to place a gentle kiss on his lips which he returned happily. "i'm quite glad you heeded alis's advice." his fingers traced the shape of your outfit.
you scrunched your face in confusion. "why is pink the color for today, dear?" you sat down in the chair he pulled out and began to place different foods on to your plate.
"eat and then i will show you," he said. your confusion grew and you eyed him curiously. he focused his attention on his plate, hands shuffling under the table. you decided to hold your questions and began eating the perfectly cut fruits on your tray, admiring the floral cutouts of watermelon.
soon after, both of your plates were empty and tamlin rose from the table first. his hand was tucked behind his back but he held the other out for you to take. "where are we going, tam?" you couldn't help but ask. he didn't answer but instead led you to the sitting room which was lit only by the pale sunlight coming from the windows. "you're being awfully ominous, you know?"
he chuckled but once he had the two of you situated on the couch, he pulled out a velvet box from behind his back. you knew boxes like those well and it seemed like it held a necklace but you weren't sure.
"i know you say i get you too many gifts," he started, "but i couldn't help myself." his hands gingerly opened the box and your suspicions were confirmed.
laid perfectly in the box was a dainty necklace which seemed like it would fit more like a choker. the chain was a light gold with light pink diamonds embedded throughout. it was positively stunning and would suit the pink clothing very well. of course alis and tamlin were working together.
"oh, tam...it's beautiful," you whispered.
"i'm glad you think so," he said. he laid the box down on his lap and pulled the necklace out of it. the clasp seemed more unique than other necklaces you had seen and he was extra delicate placing it across your chest. shivers ran down your spine from the way his nails lightly grazed your skin and after a few seconds, it hung from your neck, ending just above your collarbones.
you turned back to him and wrapped your arms around his neck. he gratefully returned the embrace and wrapped his strong arms around your middle. "anything for my petal."
later that night, you were preparing for bed, pulling out pins and the comb from your hair. tamlin was in the bedroom, fiddling with the buttons on his tunic to eventually come and join you in the bath. after your hair came down, you moved to take off your rings, bracelets, and eventually the necklace.
your hands reached around your neck to unclasp it but you found nothing but a small, solid piece with no connector there. you played with it for a few more seconds before looking at it in the mirror.
"are you struggling with the necklace, love?" tamlin said, suddenly appearing in the doorway.
you turned and nodded, pulling your hair across your shoulder to let him see it. "i don't understand how to unclasp it. it's only a square and nothing else." in just a second, tamlin's fingers undid the clasp and he brought the necklace down to sit with the rest of your jewelry. "how'd you do it?"
he smiled a bit mischievously and wrapped his arms around your middle to pull you back into his chest. he placed a kiss on your head before answering, "i guess i'm just well-versed in jewels."
you smiled at the non-answer before pushing him to actually answer the question.
he turned you around, encasing you between the sink and his firm body. his fingers brush along your collarbones where the necklace just rested. "it can only open with my touch. along the solid square piece. all it takes is me and it will unclasp. nobody else can take it off from you." you couldn't hold back the surprised look on your face. his hand came to your chin and he tilted it up. "i want you to wear it every day, petal."
you couldn't help but nod at his request, feeling that it was nonnegotiable. a chill ran down your body at the look in his eyes, his tone, and the meaning of the necklace. he noticed your reaction and kissed your lips softly before pulling you to the bath, eager to show you how much he adored you.

My Brothers Best Friend. (Dave Franco x Female reader.) P A R T O N E.
summary: When Y/n's brother's best friend comes to visit for a few nights, the ever-lasting attraction towards him only develops more. Little does she know the feeling might be mutual, leaving them both making bad decisions out of desire.
Tumblr media
Warnings: smut, ?blood?
My hands carded through my hair as I looked at myself in my vanity mirror. Tonight my brother's best friend Dave was coming over for dinner. Nonetheless, I was excited. Ever since I was 10 years old I've always had a huge crush on Dave. I remember one time my brother scolded me for an hour straight after he caught me staring at Dave a little too hard. I was not a day over 12 when that happened, things are different now. But I can't lie and say that my attraction for him has only become stronger over the years.
"Quit looking at yourself, weirdo." I turn around to see my brother standing at my doorframe. "Ugh get out," I respond, annoyed and somewhat embarrassed. It wasn't much later until I heard the sound of the doorbell ring, indicating that Dave was there. I gave myself one last glance in the mirror and made my way downstairs to be met with my brother and Dave, giving each other their 'bro hug.'
"Dave it's so nice to see you!" I hear my mom say, perking up from her seat. After greeting everyone Dave made his way over to me, giving me a hug and quickly pulling back to say. "Wait, Y/n, is that... Lipstick." He jokingly says pretending to act shocked. "Screw off!" I say, creating a fit of laughter between us.
***
"Goodnight mom, I love you." I gave my mom a hug goodnight and made my way to my room. For the longest time, I could still hear Dave and my brother talking but now the house is silent. The silent house was a clear indication that everyone was asleep, so I made my way to the kitchen for a glass of water. My steps were soft and gentle, trying to avoid the sounds of the creaking floorboards. But when I made my way to the kitchen I was faced with a bareback, Dave. He was wearing plaid pajama pants low on his hips exposing his deep v-line. He was wearing no shirt, exposing me to his defined abs.
He looks up from his phone noticing me."Shit, I'm sorry. Did I wake you?" He says to me setting his half-empty glass of water and his phone down. "No, I just needed some water," I whisper back, now walking towards him. "Here." He says to me, holding out his glass of water for me to finish. "Thanks," I say, resting my hip against the countertop. Dave was now only a foot away from me, watching me finish his glass of water. The kitchen was dark, the moonlight from the windows make it visible to see.
He crosses his arms over his bare chest, a smirk appearing on his face. "You know, your brother was telling me your little secret." He says finally breaking the silence. "Oh yeah, what did he say?" I respond, setting the now empty glass beside me. "He said that you have a little crush on me." A full grin now appears on his face, but not on mine. I roll my eyes, using my arms to hop on the counter behind me, now level with Dave. "Not true," I say, biting back a smile. With every word, it seems like Dave is getting closer to me. "No?" He says to me, turning his head slightly, still smiling.
He was now only a couple inches away from me, and I could feel my cheeks heating up. Soon enough, Dave was standing right in front of me, my closed knees hitting against his chest, stopping him from coming towards me any further. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. I was worried he could hear it too. Before I could even think another thought his lips were on mine.
"Sorry." He says pulling away. "Don't be," I said, wasting no time connecting our lips again. I felt his tongue enter my mouth, moving with my tongue. The kiss was intense and needy, it felt like we were finally doing the one thing we wanted all these years. My legs spread open to let him move between them, making us even closer. His hands caressed my thighs, hooking them around his waist. I could feel his hard dick pressing against me. He then pulled away, kissing down my neck, on my collarbone. "Is this okay?" he whispered to me, looking up at me. I nod my head, hoping for dear god he doesn't stop.
He brought his hand down between us, making his way down to the waistband of my shorts. I felt his fingers run through my slit, gathering the wetness on his fingers and thrusting them into me making me let out a gasp. "Shh baby we gotta be quiet." He says to me, now pumping his fingers in and out of me. My hands quickly grabbed onto his bare shoulders, needing some sort of stabilizer.
His pace started to quicken, thrusting fast and hard in and out of me. I was biting my lip trying to not let out the sounds of my whimpers and moans. He brought his thumb to my clit and started roughly massaging it as he fingered me. Making me claw at his shoulder, still biting back my moans. I was so turned on, I could see the muscles in his arms flexing as he fingered me, the obvious boner in his pants, and his reassuring looks. It wasn't long before I was coming undone all over him.
My vision felt hazy as I came all over his fingers. The feeling of wetness in my mouth hit me and brought my finger up to see blood coating it. I bit my lip so hard I made it bleed. Dave looked up at me, enclosing my lips in a kiss, smearing my blood on his lips. He broke the kiss, pulling his fingers out of me and licking my cum off his fingers. The sight had me going crazy. Grabbing his face and enclosing his lips in another kiss.
The kitchen was filled with the sounds of our smacking lips and heavy breathing. I pulled his body close to mine, grinding my clit on his bulge making him throw his head back. My wet, openmouthed kisses made their way down his jaw and neck while continuing to grind harder. I knew he couldn't take it anymore and neither could I. We both knew fucking on the kitchen counter was risky, but neither of us cared at that point.
My hand reached down at his waistband pulling out his hard throbbing cock. I looked back up at him, his pupils blown, lips parted. His hand made its way down to my shorts, moving them to the side exposing my pussy. I still had a hold of his cock. Holding it by the base I dragged it through my wet folds making his breathing become hitched and making him let out a small moan. He was thick, I lined his cock up to my entrance, letting him do the work and closing the proximity between us. He slowly started thrusting in and out of me. But even the slowest movements were causing shocks of pleasure all over my body.
He then started to quicken the pace, thrusting fast and hard out of me. He was letting out moans and whimpers in my ear making me wetter by the second. My tits bounced in my shirt as he fucked me roughly. "Fuck Dave, oh my god." I was whispering curse words and moans of pleasure under my breath, trying to be quiet. I could feel myself coming close to coming undone, and I could tell he was too. His face was screwed up in pleasure, I watched as his v-line and abs flexed as he fucked in and out of my pussy. It took no time before we were both coming. A loud whimper came out of my mouth, making Dave kiss me to shut me up. My hands grabbed at his shoulders yet again as we simultaneously came.
The kitchen was now silent. His body was on mine as we silently tried to catch our breaths. "You okay?" he says to me, looking me in the eyes. "Yeah," I respond, giving him a warm-hearted smile. He slowly pulls out of me, grabbing paper towels and cleaning him and me up. He put his hands on my waist helping me off the counter. When my feet hit the ground my legs felt like jello. "woah what the fuck." I say to myself, making Dave start laughing. "Shut up," I say, now laughing with him. "cmon' let's go," I whisper out, leading the way back to our rooms. Once I was in front of my door I turned back to face Dave. "Sweet dreams." He says quietly, kissing my lips delicately and walking off toward his room.

“i wish you could just give me one day, laia…” rafe sighed loudly into to the empty space in front of him, fingers tensing around the steering wheel before dropping to his lap. “just one day where you aren’t being a total bitch.”
a scoff escaped my throat, the sound coupled with a roll of my eyes. it took everything to bite my tongue, memories of the last time i called him a bitch reason enough to do so.
“because i didn’t want you talking to the bitch–the girl, you were fucking while i was away?” i corrected myself immediately. it was out of character to call other women such derogatory names, but the word flowed so easily off my tongue. “the one that we just argued about a few days ago?”
“jesus christ, all she did was say ‘hi’! she was working!”
“she could have been lying on the floor dying of anaphylactic shock, rafe. i don’t give a fuck.” i shoved the car door open and jumped out before turning back to face him. “i told you not to talk to her.”
slamming the door shut, i left my boyfriend in the truck by himself as i trudged down the dock to where he keeps his boat. the sky was a clear blue and the sun was beaming down onto the earth, the warm yellow light leaving a sheen of sweat on my skin that was only amplified by the humidity. it was a beautiful day, calm waves and a stunning horizon in the distance gracing the view of onlookers surrounding the dock, but i couldn’t begin to appreciate it.
i tried giving rafe the silent treatment after finding out about his indecent activities, but he was never one to let that go on for very long.
after the fourth day of avoiding all contact with him, he made an appearance at my front door with little patience for my attitude. he gave no room to argue when he told me to get dressed and dragged me out to his car a few minutes later. i didn’t fight back because i knew it would make no difference.
he took us to the island club, and that girl happened to be working today. i’ve never been one to be jealous of rafe talking to other girls, but the fact that she got to fuck him before i did enraged me beyond comprehension. the scoff of annoyance that left my body as she greeted the two of us was out of my control. i didn’t notice that i had been mean-mugging here until rafe told me to ‘fix my face’ when she walked away.
the entire car ride after our lunch together was filled with a tense silence; one that remained until we arrived at the dock and was broken by him.
“i don’t wanna argue with you, laia. i was just being nice.” rafe tried to hold a hand out for me to board the boat, but i paid it no mind. hopping over the gap between the ledge of the yacht and the water, i made my way to the front with my boyfriend dragging his feet behind me.
“i gave you four days of peace, rafe.” my eyes cut him with the sharpness of the hunting knives he keeps in his basement. raising a finger, i point it directly into his broad chest. “you insisted on coming to bother me knowing that i’m mad at you. on top of that, you took me to the place that girl works! so no, you don't get to complain about me being a bitch.”
i take a seat on the right side of the steering wheel, eyes trained on the water in front of us. the blonde sighs loudly, the bass of it filled with frustration.
we remained silent for an amount of time that i’m sure was longer than necessary, but i refused to be the first to break it. rafe stops the boat a couple nautical miles away from where we were originally, the dark blue water surrounding all sides of us.
“baby?” rafe locks the wheel in place before take a seat next to me. i feel his eyes burning into my figure, gazing hotter than the summer sun beaming down onto us.
“yes, rafe?” the answer to his call was released with a tired sigh. i was genuinely upset about what happened, and hearing him talk was beginning to give me a headache.
my boyfriend takes a seat next to me, reaching over to pull me closer. he ignores my protests as he sits me on his lap and wraps his arms around my waist snugly, resting his chin on my shoulder.
“you know i love you, right?” the vibrations of rafe’s chest traveled through my back as he spoke. “i didn’t mean to make you upset. i haven’t thought about her in forever, i really was just being polite…”
it took everything in me not to roll my eyes.
he just told a blatant lie, right to my face.  if he hadn’t thought about her in forever, why did she text him just a few days ago? if they hadn’t been in contact recently, then she wouldn’t have thought they were still on speaking terms. on top of that, there was no reason for him to speak to her–politeness be damned. he knew i was mad–and why i was mad–but chose to acknowledge her anyway.
it was a habit of rafe’s to take me out on dates, buy expensive gifts, and sing praises about how much he loves me whenever i was upset with him. he thought i didn’t notice, but after all this time it was hard not to pick up on the pattern. there’s only so many times shopping sprees and worship will make someone forget why they were upset in the first place.
“okay.” my voice was edged with irritation. i tried my best to disguise it with indifference, but there was nothing rafe didn’t notice when it came to me.
“okay?” i could feel him turn his head to look at me, the side of my face burning hot from his fiery gaze.
“yes, okay, rafe.” the reply was snippier than i meant for it to be. “i love you, too–what do you want me to say?”
a puff of air escaped through his nose; a sign of his own temper flaring up. i could feel his arms flex against me for a second before settling in their natural state.
“well; i’d like it to sound like you mean it, first of all.” the sass in his voice was evident. “i’ve already apologized, like, forty times. it happened, laia–i’m sorry that i slept with her. i’m sorry that i acknowledged her existence today. what else do you want from me?”
“you slept with her, rafe!” i swiveled my own head to meet his eyes directly, the familiar sight matching the ocean below us in color. “you can apologize forty-thousand times–i don’t give a fuck! that is so…beyond…i don’t know what you want from me, either.”
throwing his arms off, i rose to my full height before turning to face him with folded arms.
he stood up as well, head towering far above mine. i stumbled forward from being pulled back into his body, a pair of strong hands gripping my hips keeping me in place. there was no point in trying to back away–it wouldn’t make any difference when he would just put me right back where i was.
it was obvious that he was really sorry, but it was also clear that he wasn’t too happy about me not accepting his apologies. usually, i would let things go just so we didn’t have to argue. this time was different–he didn’t like that.
“if i could go back in time and un-fuck her, i would.” the wet muscle of his tongue poked out from his plush lips before returning to its place. “but i can’t. we were on a break that you wanted! it’s in the past now, laia, alright? do you think picking fights and ignoring me is gonna change what happened?”
i blinked up at him slowly. mouth sewn shut, i wasn’t really sure how to respond to that.
he was right; picking fights wasn’t going to change anything. my anger was genuine, but it had dissipated over the days that i’d isolated myself from him. i was mostly trying to make a point on how he couldn’t get away with doing things that hurt me and then expect to shower me in praise to receive my forgiveness.
shrugging as a reply, i turned my head away from him to face the horizon. my head was snapped back in his direction by a set of fingers sinking into my jawline. rafe’s eyes held the same softness they alway did when they held me in their gaze, but his exasperation was clear as the sky above.
“you look at me when i’m talking to you. do you think that’s going to fix things?” my throat bobbed at the scolding, his stern voice covering my skin in goosebumps inappropriate for the warm temperature of the nature that surrounds us. shaking my head no silently, i give him my honest answer. “right, okay…so are you acting out for attention? what are you trying to do?”
i shrugged again. the blond chuckled from above, amused by my sudden loss of words.
“i’m trying to show you that you can't just…say you love me and expect me to let shit go.” i said. “you took it way too far this time, rafe.”
“okay, so you wanna break up?”
i furrowed my brows at him, head jerking back in surprise. the question caught me off guard. he looked down at me expectantly and watched my eyes open and shut rapidly as i blinked away the shock.
“i never said that.” my head shook in denial at the accusation. “if i wanted to leave you, i would have done it before any of this ever happened.”
“so if you don’t want to break up, what the fuck are you still mad for?” i wasn’t sure if he was genuinely confused or angry; most likely overcome with both feelings. “tell me what it’s gonna solve when i’ve already apologized and i stopped talking to her before you even came back from school because i knew that i wanted you, not her. it’s not gonna solve anything, right?”
i hate it when he makes points. it made me feel stupid whenever he called me out and happened to be right–like right now. there were no plans for me to leave him; if i wanted to then i would have done it a year ago before i left for school. obviously i wanted us to work out, i loved him.
it was more of a point to make for myself than him. rafe gets away with most things, simply because i hate fighting with him. if it meant that things would go back to normal, i would let it go–even when it hurt me. i couldn’t let him just walk all over me anymore, that’s what i was trying to prove.
instead, it’s making me feel like i’m being difficult.
it was embarrassing. it shouldn’t be, but i could feel my skin heat up from the emotion washing over me in a thick layer that overpowered the sun above.
rafe took my slice as agreeance and nodded his head in understanding. bringing his face closer, i could feel his nose brush against mine, the gesture leaving a ticklish feeling in its wake.
“we’re adults, baby.” his warm breath landed against my lips as he spoke in a gentle voice. “that silent treatment shit is childish and you know i don’t like it. it’s over now, okay? just let it be over–let’s just focus on each other. that outside stuff isn’t important; just us.”
closing the minimal space between us, rafe presses his lips to mine. my eyes flutter shut at the familiar feeling. it was short and sweet; he pulled away before it went any further in order to gage my reaction. not seeing any resistance, the blond returns to the contact.
rafe’s lips open slightly, just wide enough for him to lick at the seam of my lips. i follow his lead, lips allowing him the access to slide his tongue into my mouth. the hand at my waist pulls me in so close that you’d think he wants me to live in his skin.
the feeling of his tongue against mine was pure sweetness, the taste of him something i missed more than i thought. nothing about it was sloppy, it was passionate and slow. the way he would pull away just slightly with my lip in tow, low eyes watching as it snapped back into place before he captured it again in a kiss.
rafe groans when try to pull away, the sound followed by the hand resting on my face relocating to the back of my head to tangle itself in my hair. he deepens the kiss, teeth smacking together just barely as allows himself to be a little rougher.
humming in protest, i place a firm hand against his chest to separate us. my head pulls back when my boyfriend attempts to chase after my evading lips.
“just us.” i whisper, repeating the words that left his mouth just a moment earlier.
something in the back of my mind set off alarm bells at the way rafe smiled, the look in his eyes unsettling in the strangest way, but I tuned them out in favor on focusing on the way his lips felt on mine.

Let's be honest, high school wasn't easy on anyone. Sure, some people could slip through the cracks while remaining unnoticed, unseen, unheard, and never bothered. Others weren't as lucky but it wasn't as bad or pressured as some other lives in high school.
I wasn't gonna make excuses for the other jocks but I found life just flowed a little simpler if I nestled myself securely on the outskirts of social circles.
I was once lead in the spring musical last year and liked to keep up with my drama friends; I was voted in as class president in October; pitcher on the softball team; might've even found myself on the cheerleading squad.
Did it make sense? Probably not to others.
But for the way my mind liked to race, keeping extra busy with a plethora of friends was easier. I was never in one 'crowd' and could hop around freely to my choosing; occasionally even hopping over to the Hellfire Club on a few random days.
Those were the conversations I was most animated in.
These guys never gave a fuck and liked pushing creative envelopes. So, they wouldn't push me about my home life but sure as shit pushed me into whether or not I thought Luke Skywalker was hot or not. Gareth was running a very important poll and it was vital I give them my honest opinion on the Jedi.
If I wanted, I usually had a seat at Hellfire, too. I couldn't make every game and usually my character was someone fleeting due to my busy schedule... But it was how I came to really get to know Eddie Munson better. He was the Dungeon Master and was always willing to hang for an extra hour to go over some details about the campaign or game.
If I didn't understand something, he was breaking it down for me. He teased me, sure, but never made me feel lesser-than for not grasping a concept completely.
It could've been the reason we started hanging out at his trailer.
Maybe it was also because life was finally catching up to me and overwhelming me in a tsunami wave of stress, and I needed an escape.
Either way, one moment, I'm content being a busy little bee, and the next, I'm crying my eyes out at Eddie Munson's trailer as a roach smoldered in a glass ashtray between us.
It became something of a regular occurrence for us. Sometimes, I ran into his Uncle Wayne on his way out to work and other times, it was nearly pitch black when I arrived. But Eddie was always welcoming; never complaining when I'd burrow into one of his hoodies for comfort; content to roll a joint and let the pair of us rant about our weekly worries.
I guess he got sick of hearing me complain so much because one evening, perhaps while rambling, Eddie leaned forward and seared his lips on mine. He made some comment about shutting me up like this from now on before pressing his tongue into my mouth and commandeering every known thought I had.
It worked... For the first couple months.
It was nice to feel like I had something private, 100% for myself. Nobody knew that Eddie Munson was the guy I spent my free time with; they didn't need to know I started blowing them off in favor of him. They didn't know how we would lay in his bed, fucking, talking, laughing, smoking; they never needed to know how he whispered sweet nothings in my ear, and like a fool, how I ate it up.
It was private. Eddie was private.
Stolen glances in the hallway, a few kisses in empty classrooms.
But then... It turned a little repetitive.
Once, I'd met him in the woods (per his request) and when I arrived 'early', he was in the midst of another deal. Waving me off as "another customer that can wait", he turned to the boy in front of him and all but basically ignored me.
I knew we weren't public, but damn, right?
And there was the time when my Mom's car tire blew and she couldn't pick me up from softball practice... But Hellfire had just let out and when I asked Eddie for a ride home, he chuckled, "I would, princess, but I don't think I could fit your reputation in my van."
I get there were some other people around when I asked, but shit.
Oh! And there was that other time when he and I went to the corner store for a few snacks and his arm was securely around my shoulders. It was about 12:30 in the morning on a Saturday, and sure, not many people were out but a few had come in after us... And Eddie had dropped his arm so quick, you would've thought he was burned.
He had waited until they were gone before letting us pay together and leave...
It was starting to feel more and more like Eddie was ashamed of me. Like he didn't want to be seen with me... Like he couldn't stomach the idea of people knowing he was into me - or I was into him.
None the less, the idea started to gnaw at my mind because I couldn't begin to understand what was so wrong about... Well, me.
Eddie had called that night and asked if I was down for a movie and joint, claiming he had picked up my favorite candy at the store today and needed my company to break into it. I had agreed with the thought that maybe I'd just gently broach the subject; just ask in earnest if there was something about me he was ashamed of or not.
"Hey, sweetheart," Eddie panted when he opened the door for me, instantly leading me through his trailer, "I'm so sorry, I lost track of time. You mind hanging tight so I can hop a quick shower?"
"Oh, yeah, no problem," I assured, nodding with a small smile.
"Thanks, doll," he whispered, kissing my cheek, "be just a minute."
I nodded absently and watched him go, looking around his room and finding it only mildly messy today. I sat on his bed and rubbed my hands together, trying to think of the best way to ask him what was up, when suddenly, my eyes caught sight of a dog-eared magazine peaking out from under a pair of boxers in front of Eddie's bedside stand. Curiosity burned my stomach and I let the tip of my show gingerly toe the boxers to the side and cocked my head to get a better look.
Only... I almost wish I hadn't.
The woman in the worn-centerfold was outstandingly gorgeous and her curves were natural. You could say I was staring but there's a way you can tell - and that woman, staring up at me, was 100% natural. She was something lethally beautiful with sculptured thighs and a taunt stomach; defining outlines running along her curves.
Picture perfect.
An angel in the centerfold.
Her hair was even perfectly cascading around her, maybe akin to a halo that draped off her thin, highlighted shoulders. Reaching up to feel my own, I couldn’t help but scoff and drop my hand instantly as even our fucking hair was stark opposite one another.
I felt my mouth dry as I took note of her breasts and how they spilled from her lace bra before darting my eyes down to skim her body and land on the smooth, hairless cunt peaking out from a pair of pure white crotchless panties. Taking a sobering breath, I realized everything about her was in some way, shape, or form the exact opposite of me.
Insecurity reared its ugly head and made me question if this was the reason Eddie didn't want to be seen with me. If this was why he didn't want to commit; to date me; to let others know... Because I was wrong. I was all wrong in his mind - this woman with the perfect natural body was a reflection of what he thought was ideal.
His idea of what he wanted.
And it was the literal opposite of me.
Feeling sick, I let my foot jerk to push the boxers back over and stood nervously from his bed. The room was about to collapse on me and a ringing started in my ears, forcing my feet to move or else I'd break down in sobs right there.
Pausing at the cracked bathroom door, I knocked and called, "Hey, Eddie, I forgot my aunt's coming to town and I have to help my mom. I'll just call you later, okay?"
Praying to God my voice remained steady, I waited as Eddie mulled over my words. "A-Are you sure, sweetheart? I didn't get to see you much this week. We can always just watch a movie, or something?"
"I'm sure, I'll just call you later. Bye," I called, not leaving room for argument.
"O-Okay, call me when you get home! Bye! Drive safe!" Eddie called over the sounds of his shower; my feet surging to get me as far from the trailer park as possible.
Call it childish but I didn't call Eddie. I just didn't really have it in me to entertain a conversation where I wasn't okay. In fact, I didn't really have it in me to do anything that week. So, I took mercy on myself and canceled all of my obligations - only going to classes, and then straight home, where I remained alone in my room as my mother worked nightshifts at the hospital this week.
And at lunch, I just hung out in the SGA room where I made up for the work I'd miss from all my canceled after-school meetings.
So, it was easy to avoid everyone. Easy peasy.
Nobody seemed to notice because of how thin I constantly stretched myself, but my self esteem took a major blow that I wasn't really looking to actively heal and wanted a little peace to myself. So I made myself extra scarce by faking a really bad period so nobody would question me too much.
Turns out, maybe Eddie noticed my flighty behavior. I didn't know it, but after school on Wednesday, he caught Chrissy's elbow and ducked into an empty classroom to ask her what was up with me.
The head cheerleader assured him I was just feeling a little under the weather, not putting too much thought into why he seemed so worried. She knew you two were friends and figured he thought I was sick, not realizing he was actually trying to understand why I had blown everything (and one) off this week.
After school Friday, Eddie had enough and loaded into his van after clocking my absence at practice again. Not that he was paying attention (he totally was), but I'd missed the whole week, and he knew that wasn't normal.
So, when he showed up at my door, imagine his shock to see me answer it in my pajamas.
"Eddie," I felt my eyes widen, trying to subtly close the thick cardigan I was wearing around my leggings and tank top. "Uh, did I forget something in History?"
"Funny enough, you did."
"Oh."
"Yeah," he breathed, "see, by my observations, you've been blowing everyone off this week, and can mean you've forgotten your friends."
I scoffed, "No, not entirely."
"Yes, entirely," he repeated. "What's going on with you?"
"Nothing."
"Bullshit," he shook his head. "You've not been in the cafeteria all week, you haven't been doing the morning announcements, you haven't shown up at Hellfire, or SGA, or cheer, or any of your other orgs - the hell's up with you?"
"Oh, I uh... Didn't think anyone really realized," I admitted quietly.
"When you move as quick as you do and then come to a screeching halt, yeah," he chuckled, "a few people notice. So, again, what's wrong?"
"It's literally nothing."
"So, why're you blowing me off too?"
"I'm not."
"You're standing pretty defensively in your doorway," he pointed out softly. "Am I... Like, am I not welcome anymore?" His question caught me off guard because I wasn’t sure how to answer it. My silence was enough of an answer as he whimpered, "Oh, shit, wait, what'd I do, sweetheart?"
"You didn't do anything."
"Well, obviously I did if - "
"No," I sniffled, cutting him off, "that's what's wrong, you just... You never did anything."
"Okay, darlin', I'm confused," he paused. "What didn't I do?"
"You... You were always ashamed of me, never wanted to be seen with me, or let people know we were hanging out. I get we weren't dating, but you never asked me to be your girlfriend, either. So, yeah, you didn't do anything... And then I just... I found something that confirmed I'm nothing like what you want. So, maybe you're not welcome here anymore because I don't think I was ever welcome in your life."
"Sweetheart, how can you say that?" Eddie asked in confusion. "I'm ashamed of you? No, that's the farthest from the truth! Where is this - I don’t understand.”
"C’mon, Eddie. You literally run the other way when it comes to even seeing me in public," I pointed out. "If you're ashamed, that's one thing. If you just don't want to be in a relationship, that's another. But I don't think you really want to be with me, so, let's just cut our losses."
"What the hell could you have seen that made you think I don't want you?" he scoffed. "Darlin', I just - I'm not very good at this shit, okay? And I'm the Freak, remember? You're gonna take more of a social hit dating me than I will - I just wanted to try and protect you from the ridicule coming your way for even being seen with me."
"Then that's my decision to make," I shrugged.
"You're right," he agreed. "And I'll let you make that decision on your own, but that's if you even want to be with me. 'Cause apparently you've found something that's so Earth-shattering, it's making you think I don't want you. Darlin', I worship you, okay? So whatever it is, I promise it’s not what you think.”
"Then why... Why don't I look like them?"
"What?" He asked. "Like who, doll?"
"I know it’s stupid but… The women you look at in magazines, okay? The women you fantasize about - those women. Why don't they and I look alike?"
Eddie looked gobsmacked for a moment but recovered quickly, speaking softly but strongly, “Because they're exactly that, pretty girl, a fantasy. Nothing like the real thing," he smiled at me. "And for whatever it's worth, I look at a variety of things, so, the odds of you lookin' like one of the women I look at... Are actually pretty high."
"Eddie - "
"No, I'm serious," he smirked, "'cause I just think about you most of the time. Those women might get me started but it's the thought of you that takes me out, hmm?"
"Oh, my God," I couldn't help but laugh, "okay, okay, you've made your point.”
"Yeah?"
"Yeah. I guess I just got a little in my head.”
"So, why're you home instead of at practice? You’re always over thinkin’ something, why’s your head all in a twist?”
"Well, you, Munson, put my head in a twist pretty consistently. And for the record, it started as an insecure week that required a lot of self-care."
"Well, what's on the agenda for tonight?"
"Um, gonna paint my nails and watch a few movies?"
"Got room for one more?" He pouted dramatically. "Missed you this whole week, and I barely got to see you last week, too."
"I think I could squeeze you in somewhere," I smiled with a nod, opening my arms to let him step over the threshold and into my embrace. Against his chest, I spoke, "If I didn't want to be with you, Munson, I wouldn't be. So, don't go worrying about protecting my reputation, because I'm only concerned with my happiness - and you make me pretty damn happy.”
I felt Eddie's arms tighten and his lips press to the top of my head, "Good plan, baby. And I'm only concerned with your happiness, as well."
"All right, kiss-ass, you’re already invited in. Don’t gotta lay it on too thick.”
“Oh, so, I don’t have to offer to paint your toes?”
I paused, letting my chin press to his chest as he smirked down at me. “Well now, wait a minute…”

Oh oh I’ve got one! Vash Stampede flirting/dating a shy reader headcannons ♥️ please and thank you (sorry had to resend bc I was afraid my asks wasn’t sent)
It's cool dear anon. I'm so excited, my very first Trigun Stampede request! Please let me know how I did, I adore Stampede Vash but I absolutely love the Vash from the 1998 TV series. Not to say the Vash from Stampede isn't loveable, he's downright adorable. But I don't know, right now I'm a sucker for 98' Vash. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this request and please don't hesitate to request more if you happen to like it <3
Tumblr media
"Come on needle noggin!" Wolfwood snapped after punching Vash in the head. "Just go over there and say hello! It's not like your dumbass hasn't talked to worse. You've stared at them enough to make a point!" While Vash didn't necessarily agree with Wolfwood, it was true that he had fixated on you recently.
"H-hi there!" were the first words he had spoken to you after casually walking up to the counter of the saloon you worked in. You remember how bright and friendly his smile was but how you stepped back out of instinct. "Oh, shy, right? S-sorry, I didn't mean to disturb you! Heh, heh," he awkwardly waddled back to his seat knowing the last thing he needed to cause was trouble for you.
His second attempt started with "Hi there, heh…just thought I'd try to talk to you again." He chuckled as he laid his hands on the counter. "I heard your name is Y/n," he smiled sheepishly, "what a pretty name." Maybe all you needed was a compliment to make you smile, he'd sure love to see that.
"I don't know, I mean they seem pretty shy. I wouldn't want to push them out of their comfort zone, you know? That's kind of not nice," he said, politely turning down Wolfwood's idea to ask you out. "Pff, suit yourself," he mumbled in reply, "but wait too long and someone else is going to snatch them up and you won't like that."
"Hey…it's me again," he said on a quiet night when the saloon was empty of customers. "Sorry if I've been bothering you lately, I know you're kind of shy but…" he chuckled and rubbed the back of his head. "I'd be interested in…well t-talking to you, heh. I'm willing to listen to anything you'd like to talk about!" Everyone deserved that, right? And since you were busy dealing with customers all day, he was sure you had a lot to say.
You didn't realize his flirting attempts were flirting attempts at all because well, they didn't exactly make sense. "You know…I really admire the way you fill the glasses up," he chuckled. "You're always so careful to make sure the foam doesn't spill over the top," he smiled at you, hoping you'd say something in return, but you just thought his words were as strange as he was.
After a while, you grew accustomed to his warm smile and gentle voice so much that you looked forward to his visits. You also started to get to know his friends, who seemed a bit on edge but friendly. Vash noticed this slight increase in confidence and couldn't be happier for you.
His idea of asking you out was to suggest something quiet to do together to make you feel safe and comfortable. Of course, you never imagined it would end with the two of you staring at the five moons that hovered in the sky.
It surprised you that Vash always leaned close when you spoke and maintained eye contact. Of course, you weren't used to having someone's full attention. But it was still comforting to know that he was always interested in what you were doing or saying.
"Oh, heh sorry! I d-didn't mean to, really um..." The first time the two of you had fallen asleep together, you woke up to Vash's arms securely wrapped around you as if he were afraid that you'd get up and leave in the middle of the night. Of course, after hearing a few things about his past it was understandable why he felt so scared to lose you.
"Sorry…I guess I couldn't help myself, heh…" His face was completely flustered after he kissed you, as was yours. "I…understand if you don't feel the same way, not many people would want to be with…Vash the Stampede. Heh, the Humanoid Typhoon." He nervously chuckled before asking, "S-so…how do you feel?"
"What?!" Meryl snapped, grabbing your shoulders. "I'm happy for you but are you sure this is what you really want?" she asked. "Why don't you let them make their own mistakes, little miss?" Wolfwood said, stepping between you two. "If they want to date needle noggin, then that's on them…" Although he knew that if Vash messed up, he'd receive a beating.
"Ta-da!" Vash exclaimed as he uncovered your eyes to reveal the ruined city of July leaving you in shock. Why would he insist the two of you come here? "I know it's a little weird, but I thought I'd bring you here for our date because..." he reached over to hold your hand. "I think it's about time this place had good memories again."
He always stuck to his belief in protecting something more than anything else in this world: you. This meant he'd step in front of you whenever suspicious characters were around, or people looked at you the wrong way. Blocking their view of you and being ready for action if the situation escalated was something he was all too willing to do.

sun to me, part 2
i was about to start my day
series masterlist
Tumblr media
When I get back to the table, three sets of eyes turn to stare at me.
"Spill," Josie says. I just raise an eyebrow at her, not sure what she wants me to say. "Lindsey said you were having a nice little conversation with Luke Hughes?"
"Oh, yeah. He played with Ethan, so we met a few times, he recognized me and wanted to say hi," I say.
"Just hi?" Josie asks. She's more invested in this than I am.
"Yeah, and then asked about how I liked Jersey," I take a pause before rushing out the last part. "And then gave me his number and said if I ever wanted to do something besides go to school and hockey to text him." Josie's jaw drops, and she looks like she might burst with excitement.
"Please date him," she begs me.
"Slow your roll there buddy, I don't even know if I'll text him."
"You have to," she sounds like I'm causing her physical pain by saying that I might not even text him.
"Josie," Ava sounds amused, and Lindsey looks like she's trying not to laugh at our very dramatic roommate.
"Fine, I'll drop it, for now," she pouts but leaves it alone, and Lindsey changes the subject to the professor she's dreading having to see tomorrow because he's cranky and mean.
--------------------
As soon as we're back to the house, I go upstairs to make sure all my crap is together, so I'm not in a complete spin of chaos in the morning. I shove my notebook and laptop back into my backpack and toss my little pen case in on top before zipping it up and setting it on the chair at my desk. I grab a pair of jeans and a slightly cropped t-shirt, lying them across the back of the desk chair. Once I'm sure that everything is ready for tomorrow, I head downstairs where Ava, Josie, and Lindsey are already sitting in the living room. They have some reality tv show playing, and they all look far too invested. I plop down into the empty seat on our sectional, pulling out my phone so I can scroll aimlessly through social media instead of watching whatever they're all so engrossed in.
I've made my to online shopping when my phone buzzes with a text message, from Luke.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I catch myself grinning at my phone as I text him back, making plans for tomorrow.
"Alright, what's got you grinning like the freaking Cheshire cat," Ava pauses their show. I look up from my phone to see all 3 of my roommates looking at me.
"Oh, um, nothing?" It's a lame response, and they obviously know that I'm lying. Josie leans way over and before I can turn off the screen she has a chance to see what's got me smiling.
"You're texting Luke?" She can't fight the smile on her face.
"Um, yeah," I answer, very awkwardly might I add. "We're hanging out tomorrow," I give them what they want to hear.
"You're going on a date with Luke Hughes?" Josie gapes at me.
"Not a date, see I specifically said that, not a date," I point to the last text message.
"Yeah, yeah, in my mind this is a date," she waves a hand at me. I let them interrogate my for approximately five minutes before saying their time was up and they begrudgingly turn their show back on and drop the topic of my not date with Luke.

NOTE: this is super short I know, I'm at a conference for the next couple of days and I wanted to get something posted before I didn't have time to write.
