Private investigator Elemmírë has been hired by Lady Findis, the oldest daughter of Lord Finwë Noldoran, to find her father's murderer. As she gets to know the House of Finwë and their associates, the web of lies surrounding each of them seems to stretch further and further. Danger lurks in every corner of Formenos Lodge, not the least of which is the enchanting nature of her client. If she is to prevent further harm to the family—or her own heart—she must solve this case as quickly as she can. Yet with so many suspects and so many motives, where should she even begin?

The client is one Findis Noldoran, daughter of the victim by his second wife. Suspects include the victim's eldest son, Fëanáro Noldoran, notably obsessive and vindictive to his half-siblings. Fëanáro showed immense grief and instability following his father's death, which could point to a guilt-ridden mind, or a true spiral of grief [cut off]

looking beyond family members, business and political rivals abound as well. Noldoran was popular among his staff but the same cannot be said of Melkor Bauglir, who was last seen on the property on the very day of the murder. This does not preclude his innocence, especially given the rivalry between him and Finwë Noldoran's eldest son, and the [cut off]

This was my first time doing a collab like this and I couldn’t have asked for a nicer person to work with! We both have a love for the found-family, heartfelt moments in the Hobbit. The whole event felt like a love letter to that sentiment I jus love these guys so

Disguised as Annatar, the Lord of Gifts, Sauron enters the elven realm of Eregion. Its lord, Celebrimbor, swiftly falls for him. Soon, a friendship is blossoming between them. Amidst newly awakened jealousy, a truly absurd number of rings, and a fateful trip to Khazad-dûm, Annatar and Celebrimbor grow closer and closer. But Annatar is deceiving him. The net is drawing closed.

And yet. And yet. The one crack in his plan that Sauron cannot guard against is his own heart, and without even trying to, Celebrimbor has wormed his way in.

Summary: In the midst of the Jazz Age, Maglor joins a band at a speakeasy and gets swept up in the drama of his mortal friends. Throughout the ages, he has written letters to Fingon, the only elf he thinks might both live again and—possibly—forgive him, though he has no way to send these letters. When he befriends a bartender and a saxophone player who remind him a little too much of his brother and Fingon, he writes again for the first time since the end of the Great War. He passes the time by observing them, soon losing himself in memories of the past and wondering if, this time, the ending can possibly be different.
