When you guys write tfa fics,

She is literally important to me.

I love her and want to see her be an actual character and not a foot note.

If you say “Earth’s not even in the equation”, then you’re a coward because she’s literally half Cybertronian and there are different types of aliens other than humans she can be part of. Like her origin is mysterious and its generally accepted that Megatron had something to do with it. The specifics are blurry at best, but somehow she was there in the secret lab only Professor Sumdac and Megatron had been in.

The reason she is even half human is because her protoform made contact with Professor Sumdac.

It’s his DNA that makes her human. Therefore, as long as someone or somebot makes contact with her protoform, she will be born.

Obviously Megatron wouldn’t randomly take a protoform with him to grab the allspark, why is she there?

What if, and it’s just a thought, what if she was a piece of his own protoform? What if she wasn’t complete until she made contact with the Allspark to stabilize her. (If the protoform took more of Professor Sumdac than it would usually take from somebot because he didn’t have a spark, then perhaps she needed a spark for some reason or another, as Megatron’s spark was with his body)

You get what I’m saying? This is kind of how I imagine how things went in my AU, that’s right I just made this all about my AU.

Optimus gave a piece of his spark to save her and she officially becomes a complete being and a Decepticon. Bam.

If “Earth’s not even in the equation”, then critical condition Megatron and Optimus spill each other’s energon and her protoform makes contact with both.

Like he goes on a mission to get the protoforms back and Megatron’s there and blah blah they fight and her pod opens as they try to grab it.

Or it wasn’t his mission, he and his team were fixing up a space warp and the crazy headed in their direction and got them involved.

Since it’s barbaric to harm obviously civilian individuals that had no part of the mission, the fight tries to avoid outsiders since it’s not necessary to hurt them. But a protoform pod gets into Optimus’ servos and just takes from both him and Megatron.

Little Sari wakes up and sees Optimus first and calls him her caregiver and Megatron is her mentor. She’s still tiny but that’s because she’s either a microbot or minibot. (She could be like an alien rumba)

Dead End: In fact, we are all on an equal footing, apart from Breakdown, which breaks all records, and Motormaster, which has a mediocre score.

Wildrider, sneering: At least one person must have voted for him.

Drag Strip, continuing to run: Yeah! I wonder who the weirdo voted for him! I expected him to have zero percent!

Motormaster, furious and continuing to pursue him: Dirty little glitch!!!

Breakdown, nervous: Wait why do I have so many votes?! Are all these people looking at me?!

Dead End, tired: Oh no…

Breakdown, stressed: How can they know if I'm the best or not?! Did they watch me???

Wildrider, laughing: Yes! Absolutely ! How else could they have voted for you?

Motormaster and Drag Strip: Shut up Wildrider!!!

Breakdown, panicked: Stop looking at me!!!

*Breakdown suddenly pulls two blasters out of his slipspace, and starts shooting everyone. Everyone runs away, except Dead End who gets right in front of one of the shots, stretching out his arms, before being caught by Motormaster*

Wildrider, hidden behind a wall with the others: Admit that his reactions are funny!

*For only answer the others give him a judgmental look*

How do you create a poll? I’m thinking of creating one but I’m not sure how to really start and get it running, any advice if you’re fine sharing?

How to be a Poll Master…maybe

Option 1: Go solo (for the Perceptors, Nightbeats, and Cyclonuses)

You’ll need at least a week of little-to-no planned activities, depending on the size of the bracket. The only reason I’m able to dedicate my time to this is because I’m in between school stuff and can’t work right now.

Google Sheets is your best friend. Make bracket lists, keep track of results, etc. I have a separate Gmail that I use for all of my TF things through Google. It’s not necessary, but it helps for keeping things organized.

Don’t cram like I did. I burned out my already-unpredictable proofreading abilities by trying to have all 82 polls set up in my drafts in one day. Break up your setup over a few days.

Whatever you do, do NOT try to post the polls privately and switch them to public to “save time”. I made this mistake TWICE for all 82 matches before I realized that you can’t edit a poll once it’s published (even privately). 🫠

Backup plans are good, but you’re limited without outside help. If you’re doing things solo and something goes wrong, you’ll either panic or pick yourself up because you’re stubborn and have trouble relying on others.

Option 2: Collaborate (for the Swerves, Tailgates, and Rodimuses)

Find a mutual or friend you trust with whom you can open a shared Tumblr to run polls from. A sideblog or a brand new primary blog will work. Personally, I’d prefer to open a primary blog if I were to ever collaborate.

Make sure your schedules are compatible.

Unless one of you is cool with doing ALL of the detail work, split it up. Just don’t forget to communicate what you’ve completed so the other person doesn’t do double the work by accident.

Better yet, assign various tasks at the beginning (poll setup, update posts, spreadsheet duty, etc.) and stick to those unless it’s not working for one of you.

Have a backup plan or two in case one of you is unable to finish the event.

If you think it’ll help, check each other’s work along the way. Just don’t be nitpicky like me. lol

There’s more that can be shared, but I don’t want this to get too long in case this was all you were looking for to get started. :)

I don’t actually know all the pathetically cute robots. Some like Sentinel Prime but I don’t know if he’s pathetic enough to be cute. He’s petty and bitter but pathetic??? Maybe.

Anyways, I don’t remember any more I consider to be adorably pathetic.

I really like Blades so far as pathetic goes. The others I put because I see and hear and I go: really? Neat!

I didn’t have enough room for all of the seeker clones with names so only five are alive… well soon it will be three who live. I might change some clones or keep them. Slipstream is staying of course. She cool.

The seekers and jettwins are technical cousins of Optimus’ children but he loves them like they are his kids anyway.

I might just do a poll of just the seekers to see whose Skyfires favorite child is in my au.

Yeah I’m making the seekers younger and slightly smaller (still bigger compared to Autobots though) because they are kids.
