Altocumulus Clouds at Sunset

These unusual clouds are called altocumulus and they appeared outside my window yesterday evening. The airplane vapour trail seems to be underlining them, just to make a point.

Bereits in 2015 hat Robert Smith zum 35. Jubiläum des Ride Albums Nowhere einen wunderschönen Remix von Vapour Trail angefertigt. Der Remix ist mir dieser Tage in einem anderen Kontext erneut begegnet: Die Live Agentur „Eat your own ears“ hat nun auch ein gleichnamiges Label am Start und debütiert mit der EP 1, die 6 Stücke unterschiedlicher Künstler:innen (u.a. Mount Kimbie und Four Tet) beinhaltet. Und auch der sehr schöne – tieftraurige – Vapour-Mix von Vapour Trail ist auf EP 1 zu finden. Da es ja selten zweite Gelegenheiten im Leben gibt, nutze ich selbige, um Ihnen Vapour Trail von Ride im Robert Smith Mix ans Herz zu legen. Und wenn Sie dann noch den Sprung zu Nowhere und der darauf enthalten Originalversion wagen, bekommen Sie ein echtes musikalisches Juwel des Jahres 1990 zu hören.  Und um Ihre Soundreise in den Jahrzehntewechsel (80ies/90ies) zu komplettieren empfehle ich noch The Cures Disintegration mit bester Empfehlung (what a journey!)

#im going to post something on halloween but also want to post like sketch compilations and unfinished stuff #bc I draw alllll the tiiimeee and theres so much and its just going to get buried in my hard drive if I dont do anything with it #I'm so shy to post this but im in a good mood today so ok you can have the hal post #::) hal. #I wanted to finish these sooo badly and I still want to - it might take me completely reworking it again though :P #im scared this will become one of those pieces where i improve at anatomy more then look back at this one and be like.
