When He Back Hugs You ~ Victon Reaction

Seungwoo:

His eyes watched you carefully as Seungwoo followed you around the room, hiding behind the corner of the bedroom to catch you.

As you passed Seungwoo he jumped out, making you jump back as his arms wrapped around your waist. “Surprise,” he laughed as your breath hitched in your throat.

“You idiot,” you scolded, trying your best to wrestle out of Seungwoo’s grip, but he was far too strong for you as he kept a hold of you.

“I’m sorry, it was too good of a chance,” he told you.

“Why do you always scare me like that?”

Seungwoo struggled to hold back his laughter as you continued to gasp in surprise. “It’s just so easy for me to scare you, I can’t help myself sometimes.”

“I hate you,” you muttered under your breath, only making the laughter that came from Seungwoo behind you even louder as he got the perfect reaction.

After a few moments an apologetic kiss was placed to the side of your head, “don’t stay mad at me, I didn’t mean to make you jump so bad.”

“You definitely did, I know exactly what you’re like.”

Seungsik:

A squeal came from you as you found yourself being pulled back as you went to walk into the bathroom, feeling yourself hit Seungsik.

He hugged you tightly from behind as you caught your breath from his sudden appearance. “Happy birthday,” he whispered after a few moments, kissing your cheek.

“Thank you,” you laughed as Seungsik trailed several kisses along the top of your shoulder too, “you were still asleep in bed just then.”

“I wanted to get up with the birthday girl,” he joked.

“You’re not leaving my side, are you?”

Seungsik’s head shook proudly in response to you, “I want to spend all day with you so that I can make as many memories as possible on your birthday.”

“I’m interested to hear what you’ve got planned for today,” you chimed, looking back to Seungsik as you tried to get a couple of spoilers out of him for your day.

He knew you better though as he remained tight lipped. “You’ll just have to wait and see, but I promise that you’ll love it.”

“Good, that’s the only thing that matters to me.”

Sejun:

You turned around as you heard the bedroom door opening, knowing that there was only one person it could be as Sejun walked into the room.

He was drawn to you straight away as he noticed you wiping underneath your eyes. “Y/N, are you alright?” He quizzed, walking over and coming up behind you with a hug.

“I’m alright,” you responded, looking away from Sejun as you tried to hide the fact that you had got teary eyed from Sejun as he studied you.

“Do you want to be honest with me now?” Sejun asked.

“It’s nothing, no need to worry.”

His brows furrowed as he carried on watching you, “there must be something going on if you’ve got upset, I can tell that you’ve been crying Y/N.”

“Don’t worry,” you tried to tell Sejun again, but his head shook as he squeezed tightly around your frame, determined to get to the bottom of what was upsetting you.

A soft sigh came from him as he tried once again, “don’t shut me out Y/N, just talk to me, whatever it is I can help you out, right?”

“It’s not that big of a deal, I guess it’s just work.”

Hanse:

The sound of someone yawning in your ear made you jump as Hanse suddenly appeared behind you, resting in tightly against the crook of your neck.

He knew that you were watching him as you reached back and took a hold of his hand. “I’m so tired,” he grumbled, searching for a little comfort from you to make him feel better.

“Why don’t we head to bed if you’re tired?” You suggested with little left that you needed to do for the day, “then you can get some rest?”

“But will I be able to cuddle you like this in bed?” Hanse enquired.

“I’m sure that we can figure it out.”

A slow nod of the head followed from Hanse as he continued to back hug you as you led him towards the stairs. “Have I ever told you how comfy you are?”

“Now I know you’re definitely tired, you’re being nice to me,” you couldn’t help but tease, even managing to bring a sleepy laugh out of Hanse behind you.

Hanse’s head shook as you reached the bottom step, “I can be nice to you, sometimes, and not only when I want something too.”

“Once or twice you might’ve been nice to me.”

Subin:

You tried to walk past Subin as you noticed him in the room, but he was too quick, snaking his arms around your waist and capturing you against his chest.

You kept staring forwards, not responding to him at all. “I hate when we fight, do you think we can talk and figure this out?” Subin asked you, pressing a kiss against your cheek.

“I guess,” you frowned, still giving very little to Subin as you spoke in a barely audible whisper, “we can’t carry this on forever, can we?”

“I’m sorry for all that I said to you earlier,” Subin quickly told you.

“I’m sorry too, it was uncalled for.”

Slowly you began to relax in Subin’s hold as you broke down the walls that you had up around you. “I probably deserved what you said to me a little bit.”

“It was still mean,” you noted, resting your head back slightly against his shoulder, “I should’ve been the bigger person and just ignored what you said to me.”

Subin smiled as he listened to you scold yourself, “I think we can both agree that we should put this behind us, don’t you think?”

“Yeah, I definitely agree with that idea.”

Byungchan:

A chuckle came from you as Byungchan came up behind you and hugged you as soon as he found you in the room, resting his chin against your shoulder with a smile.

As you looked back to him, Byungchan couldn’t help but laugh too. “I’m so happy to be home, I missed your hugs so much whilst I was on the road,” he whispered to you.

“I missed your hugs more,” you insisted as you rested your hands against Byungchan’s that were against your stomach.

“I just want to stay here all day now,” Byungchan admitted.

“We’ve got things to do though.”

A groan came from him as he pulled you tighter into your chest, “are you sure that all of those boring things can’t wait for another day?”

“As much as I’d like to stay cuddled up with you all day too, we’ve got jobs to do,” you reminded him, “maybe we can stay like this once we’ve got everything done.”

Byungchan reluctantly nodded as you looked back at him again, “were you always this mean to me before I went on the road?”

“Stop being so dramatic now that you’re home.”

Writing is a hobby of mine that allows me to escape, to push my boundaries, and to leave an impact on readers. As voted by you, readers, in a previous poll of mine, you can request stories based on genres, settings, but you can also throw a prompt into the mix.

HOW DOES THAT WORK?

You send me an ask with a genre and/or setting and a certain idol in mind, but you can add a prompt from these lists as well (they might help with certain settings):

You were preparing some espresso shots for an order of americanos when you heard the chime of the door and looked up. Your favourite customer, Subin. You smiled. He smiled back.

You couldn’t lie and pretend that you didn’t like him, because you did. All your coworkers knew that you had the biggest crush on him, so they always made sure you were the one serving him. “The coffee doesn’t taste as good when Y/n isn’t the one who is making it,” Subin always claimed, so your coworkers were pretty sure he also liked you.

He seemed to always pop into the store when you most needed some cheering up. One look at him and you couldn’t help but smile, because he was always smiling too. “I just can’t help it, it smells so good in here,” was his excuse when you asked him about it months ago. “And you look so pretty,” was what he wished he had the courage to say.

He was pretty quiet most of the time. He came in every other day, got his macarons, talked with you for a bit and then sat at his corner seat, looking as gorgeous as ever. You had thought about sneaking in a little piece of paper with your number on it into the package with his macarons on many occasions, but you never had the guts for it. But, maybe, just maybe, today was the day you’d be able to muster that courage.

“I’ll take the usual, Y/n,” he told you, your name sounding unbelievably pretty from his lips. You nodded, “I’ll just finish this other order first,” you whispered to him with a smile that took his breath away. You swore you never made an americano so fast in your life, but you were so eager to get to Subin’s order, to see his cute smile when he received the drink you made him.

You got out a cup and wrote Subin’s name on it with your best handwriting. You couldn’t resist the urge to add a small heart next to his name, so you did. You started adding the flavourings and additions that he liked in his drinks, always making sure to make his drink with extra care so it was just how he liked it.

Usually he would go sit in his spot by the window, but this time he stayed at the counter. You could feel his stare on your back as you moved around preparing the drink. Only he had the power to make you blush this much.

You glanced back at him while frothing the milk, admiring his cute glasses and sharp jawline. He was humming softly, eyes glimmering as the light shone through the window, lighting up the side of his face in a dazzling warm hue.

You put the lid on the drink and then grabbed 3 caramel macarons from the display, placing them carefully on paper to wrap up. You snatched a pen from beside the cashier and scribbled a quick note on the macaron paper before wrapping it up.

“Enjoy,” You handed him his order, unable to make eye contact. God, he just had to wear that letterman jacket from his college. Paired with his black glasses, it made him look incredibly cute— a complete boyfriend outfit.

His fingers slightly brushed against yours while grabbing the drink, making Subin suck in a breath. Pull yourself together, he urged himself in his head. With a cute nervous laugh he thanked you and sat down in his seat, finally able to breathe freely and calm down his racing heart.

As soon as he opened the package of macarons, however, all that effort to relax went down the drain. Blush crept onto his cheeks, tinting them with a bright red flush as soon as his eyes landed on your number carefully written on the paper. His cafe crush wasn’t going to nothing after all.

Calcium's List of K-Pop Worth a Damn Pt.2

Hello my beloved mutuals.

It is I, Calcium, who has consumed way too much K-Pop and has opinions on which songs (and by extension artists) are actually worth a damn.

This is part two because there was so much K-Pop to sort through, and this part is going to cover the male artists whether groups or soloists. I do not expect you to enjoy every single one on this list, but I do think these songs are worth at least one listen.

In Case This Breaks Containment: Please understand this list was made for my mutuals and my mutuals only. Just because a song or artist is not on this list does not mean I think the song or artist is bad. Except for BTS, with all due respect I think their solo work outshines their group work by a margin which is why two of their members are in the solo area listing but there is no group song listed.

Ateez: They are very hard hitting and all their songs feel like cinematic experiences. My go to boy group, and I don't think there is a song of theirs I don't like.

Enhypen: Can I just say supernatural concept and be done with this section? Yeah, I think I will.

Taemin: Honestly I was just going to leave it at his name, but I cannot explain how sexy his voice is. The man is known as The Idol's Idol for a reason.

Tomorrow X Together or TXT: They honestly have a little bit of everything from more chipper music to darker music. My personal favorites are the moments where they sound like an actual band like Run Away, I Know I Love You, and Loser=Lover.

Stray Kids: A little grab bag of everything when it comes to the 'love yourself' message. If that isn't enough for my mutuals, not only do they have my seal of approval but they also have my mother's seal of approval so uh take that as what it is.

Bonus Recommendation

KARD's music is wonderful, but since they are a co-ed group I was unsure where to put them. In terms of their songs I adore Gunshot and Red Moon as it was the song that got me into them.

A ⇴ ATTENTION

He simply likes to make sure that you’re alright more than anything else, Hanse wouldn’t exactly like to think of himself as paying attention, more that he just cares and wants to make sure that you’re doing fine.

B ⇴ BICKER

Like any pair of best friends, the two of you definitely have your moments when you bicker, usually when you think that you’re both right. You liked to try and prove to Hanse that he was in the wrong, but he thought that you were wrong too and so he’d try and talk over you, getting louder and louder at each other.

C ⇴ COMFORT

Whenever he’s cheering you up, Hanse will always try his best to be positive and try and find the good in things. He’s never down and gloomy as he worries that it’ll only make you feel worse, instead he’s optimistic in trying to come up with some solutions that will hopefully be able to help you out.

D ⇴ DISAGREEMENTS

If something doesn’t get agreed upon quickly, that’s usually when an argument tends to occur between the two of you. Hanse tends to want you to make your mind up quite a lot, his patience doesn’t always extend for as long as it could. He doesn’t like to be the one to decide, so when he’s waiting for you to decide, he wants you to make up your mind pretty quickly and stop him standing around waiting.

E ⇴ EARLY YEARS

There were plenty of conversations when the two of you first met, you found yourselves talking about a whole world of things which quickly led you to start learning plenty of things about one another. You tried your best to remember the things that you learnt about each other mostly so that you could impress the other person when you were able to recall a piece of information that they had told you.

F ⇴ FAMILY

Hanse’s family treated you incredibly well, mainly because they were constantly hearing good things about you from Hanse and knowing that you were taking care of him. He told them all of the good things that you did for him and all of the funny stories that you had from your friendship which often tickled his family too. Hearing so much left them as huge fans of yours, especially as Hanse was your biggest fan too.

G ⇴ GETTING TOGETHER

Whatever the two of you want to do when you hang out, Hanse will make sure that you do it. He doesn’t care how hectic it is, who might be around, or how careful he’s got to be about his condition, if there’s something that you want to do or somewhere that you want to go, he pulls through every time.

H ⇴ HABITS

The two of you had a habit of knowing exactly when the other person was lying to you, you knew each other far too well for the other to try and convince you that they were feeling alright, or perhaps that they weren’t the one that was responsible for a prank, when you definitely knew otherwise.

I ⇴ INSIDE JOKES

Most of your inside jokes were used as blackmail, you loved trying to get your own way by threatening to share an embarrassing story or too that you had about Hanse. If Hanse wanted to try and embarrass you in front of the boys, you’d only have to mention one of your stories for him to quickly go quiet again.

J ⇴ JEALOUSY

It’s an obvious sign whenever Hanse get jealous that he goes very quiet and observes a lot of what’s going on rather than saying anything and getting involved in conversation. If someone is making him jealous, he’ll watch them closely and wait until he can catch them out by saying something or do something that will send a clear message that they’re not your best friend, and that he is in fact your best friend.

K ⇴ KICKS

Hanse got a kick out of making you cringe, usually using aegyo to try and embarrass you and leave you squirming as you watched him. He knows just like the boys it’s something that you hate to see him doing, and so he uses that against you whenever he can as he knows it’s a guarantee that you’ll react to him.

L ⇴ LOVE

He loved how well the two of you knew each other, which ultimately made being friends together one of the easiest jobs in the world. You knew what each other liked and disliked, how they’d react to things, and how they’d behave in certain situations so the two of you were always prepared. You could probably write books on each other with how well you knew one another, even the finest of details too.

M ⇴ MEETING

The two of you first met when you were working at the coffee shop just beside the company building. There had been a few conversations between you and Hanse when he stopped by, but eventually he decided to ask you for your number and see if you wanted to hang out properly sometime with him.

N ⇴ NONSENSE

He completely let go when he was around you, it was one of Hanse’s favourite things about being around you, how easy it was for him to just relax and go about his day without a single care in the world.

O ⇴ OBSESSION

Hanse was obsessed with how close the two of you were, everyone knew that when you were together you were pretty inseparable, if one of you wasn’t around, it was always asked whereabouts you were.

P ⇴ PRECIOUS MOMENTS

The times that meant the most to Hanse were the times when he could just be himself around you, Hanse loved that he never had to be an idol or follow certain rules when he was around you. Especially when his schedule had been particularly busy, just feeling human around you again was a huge deal to him.

It took a lot for Hanse to ever really ask you outright for help, and so when he did, you knew just how much he meant it and how desperate he was for you to step in and let him rely on you for a little while.

Together you had planned a tattoo that you wanted to get for your friendship, it was just a case of deciding when you were going to get it. You’d spent many nights together designing the perfect thing that would be representative of your friendship and the various things that you’d done together over the years.

There was always an extra spring in Hanse’s step on stage whenever he knew that you were in the crowd and watching him, his motivation skyrocketing whenever he saw you there. He loved performing in front of the group’s fans but seeing such a familiar face in the crowd gave him an extra reason to go for it.

Whenever he went out on the road, Hanse loved to try and bring you along with him and the group. He loved being able to take you around the world and have experiences that no one else would be able to give you.

U ⇴ ULTIMATE

There was no one else for Hanse, he knew that he had hit the jackpot being able to be the one to call you his best friend.

V ⇴ VISITS

He stops by your home quite a lot, especially when he’s driving past. Even if all he can say is hello, Hanse enjoys being able to see you in person and see how you are rather than just judging from a text.

W ⇴ WISDOM

One of the things that Hanse tries to do with his advice is be organised so that he can share his thoughts logically with you.

Whilst the two of you weren’t massively affectionate with one another, you had your moments when you were feeling clingy and wanting attention, deciding to poke and annoy the other person as much as possible.

You were his number one, there was no one that was higher up for him than you.

Quite often Hanse will stay at your place if you plan on spending the evening together, with Hanse sharing with Subin too it’s a lot easier for you both to get some space and not interrupt any of the others too.

Hi! I've been a dancer since September of 2022 I believe, so I have quite a lot of dances, thank you for showing interest 💗 I'm gonna try to list these in order but I can't promise that it'll be accurate because I truthfully don't remember 😂

2022:

So I was still getting used to dancing so I only managed to learn 3 in those last 4 months of the year (unfortunately)

Third Monday of January means the second ATEEZ unit MV, because I am indeed a hopeless ass case. With a San bias sharper than those cheekbones. Meaning everyone else is going to have to wait for future weeks while I wallow in my emotional support boy group. ;)

From the moment the track list was released, I had strong expectations for IT's You, the unit track for besties trio Yeosang, San, and Wooyoung. For their self-written track, it's not really a surprise that they chose to pair heartfelt lyrics with a sexy, danceable groove. Most of the song is the three of them singing lines together, with each getting feature moments. We don't get that same low note moment for Yeosang that has popped up now and then since Halazia and yeah, most of the standout color lines go to San as the singer with the highest range, but the overall feel of the song hits that elusive feel of perfect line balance (no, I haven't tried mathematically proving the balance and I don't want to know the numbers either). There's a tenderness in the feel of the song that's hard to ignore, so when Alexa spoiled the secret "meaning" of the title as "I Tease You", well, ATINY both were and weren't surprised.

The video does feature a lot of flashing lights, so if that's a problem, this may have to be a pass. That said, ATEEZ continues the all-too-rare trend of shooting at night with enough light to be able to see clearly everything going on in the video and we thank their director for his foresight. The sound stages having the same feel, lighting-wise, as the outside alley shots helps to both blend them together and fuel that inception-like effect. And then there's the dancing. From Yeosang's hip-hop swagger to the lift for Wooyoung to the fluid way San uses his whole body, I could watch them all day. San's solo stages in particularly put me in mind of Kai of EXO with the way he moves and emotes.

And now... the lore paragraph. While there was room for argument about how far back to A we were with MATZ, with IT's You, we're definitely back in A-verse. The video is littered with callbacks to both Turbulence and Inception, both firmly Heroteez videos. And while I knew better than to expect it, I almost fell into the mental trap of expecting to see Hongjoong turn up in one of the dream (blue) sequences. The story still feels a bit paused, as if IT's You is more about bringing us back completely to the Heroteez universe rather than moving the plot. That's fine - it's an atmospheric sort of song and gives us a moment of pause to further readjust from Halateez back to Heroteez.

As an aside ... as an Alice I am trying very hard not to make anything of the neon sign in the alley scenes that says "ALWAYS the voICE WE LOVE" ... or rather, based on typesetting and positioning, "Always we Love the voICE," which is where Victon's fanclub (ALICE) gets its name. The cynic in me says it was just something the set dresser liked and was able to get cheap (officially, there's been no word on Victon's fate since Hanse, Byungchan, and Subin declined to resign with IST last April ... which at this point means a lot of fans are taking it as a silent disbandment, sigh), but the hopeless delulu in me would not be upset to see Victon come back on KQ after all military service terms are complete.

As previously noted, THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL is available now for streaming and physical purchase all around the world and in fact the boys earned themselves a triple crown for the first time with this one.

I was thinking about a vampire, naga or kitsune (since these are the ones I personally like the most), leaning the most towards making him a vampire because I really loved him as Gwi haha.
