yknow what you could probably replace everything victoria kord does in the comics with la dama and it would likely work just as well Without them giving ted an unnecessary sister

A boostle head canon.. probably not rly a head canon but

I’d like to think booster’s place is messy as fuck and he rarely ever cleans it up because he does all of the tidying for Teddy’s apartment instead! Like he finds it much much easier to take care of other people (Especially Teddy) rather than himself also because Ted is somehow significantly worse at looking after himself?

Also hc booster has BPD 😁 That favorite person hyperfixation is CRAZY and so is the imposter syndrome (definitely not projecting)

Idk just thinking about whenever Ted is staying up until 3 am working in the beetle cave or his work office in his apartment n Booster just slides in and gives him some midnight snacks n water or tries n convince him to go to bed because he’ll bitch about it tomorrow if he doesn’t sleep,,

Or ted ends up having to stay overtime at a Kord industries meeting and Booster makes a shit ton of yummy healthy food in the meantime for ted to come home to,,

No organisation, only Jenny in the Blue Beetle bike ! au because I love her uwu

Admittedly, if I didn’t say this was Jenny you wouldn’t be able to tell, but that is kind of the point so,,,, anyway, time for more sketches from my phone :,D

If this is confusing there’s a previous post.

Love her, shes an icon. She managed to infiltrate the races easy enough, but it’s everything after -that is difficult. Trying to do recon while also keeping up with filming the high intensity races is something anyone would struggle with. After finally finding the beetle and the bike (easily enough, Jaime literally just kinda waltzed in one day), her job became much more about protecting the rider and making sure her aunt couldn’t take back what she thought was hers.

Ironically, to keep up the incognito act, she made sure to play to the crowds. Building up this personality of a presenter/camera person, which the general public loved. She unintentionally became the face/mascot of Kord races, which Jenny is sure her father would’ve found hilarious.

Anyway, I love love love love the mask. I was thinking about making the mouth like a protogen ‘w’ shape to go with the ears, but it was too blocky for the design. So instead I just had one of those music beat line -thingies instead, which looked way cooler than I thought it would. It moves when she speaks, which would look absolutely amazing but I would have to animate it myself which I’m still debating whether it’s worth doing or not.

Bit more about my au that's still being worked on:

First up the dc friends ;

Bruce Wayne is a retired wrestler, trained the bats a bit (that's really their only connection here) , but he's doing commentary now. Has a very clear rivalry with one of the other commentators.

Ted Kord does more of announcements instead of commentary. He'll be down with the other two when he feels like (which is most times honestly) ((pretty much he says this person is here and stuff))

Jason Todd is a wrestler. Uses the name Red Hood (@livingzombie is his handle). Pretty much his deal is. He got bored so took an unannounced vacation that last a few months. He comes back w/ a new costume and a tan. Fans start saying he was risen from the dead as a joke and he goes "that's actually hilarious. I'm doing that" and starts leaning more into being a "zombie" during matches (does like decaying flesh make-up with bones showing) ((his matches get blood sometimes))

Astra Logue is aged up to be an adult (like in legends of tomorrow) and part of the women's wrestling. Her whole ordeal is that she's "brutal but pretty" and has a gf on medical. Uses the name "Hellstar Astra Louge" (her at is @hellstarlouge)

And our marvel buddies;

Matt and Mike used to be part of a tag team called Daredevil but matt got severely hurt + he was loosing his ability to see quicker then he wanted too so.had to leave. But mike stayed and took Daredevil as his name and makes it clear he's fighting for his brother's sake

Tony Stark is the 3rd commentator. Has a rivalry going on with Bruce. Has very clear favorites too. Also used to do wrestling but got too old for it. He didn't want to leave so like. Yeah

Peter Parker is one of the younger wrestlers here. He's a lot stronger than he looks (ppl laughed when he came out into the ring. Then he body slammed jay)

Marc Spector is just. He's brutal and in trouble most of the time. He bites be careful about that. Has been forcefully removed by security MULTIPLE times

idk if pro wrestlers have walkout music like ufc does but jason's should absolutely be living dead girl of rob zombie fame. this au is so so so fun!! laughed at marc's paragraph

it’s two am and i am not sleeping again. so. casting for birds of prey: comics version

oracle played by margo gignac. this was a mega difficult decision bc i wanted barbara to be played by someone who was an actual wheelchair user + someone who looks like she could scold batman into submission. gignac fits that best i can do. i also think she has great hacking hands. i read gignac was a black belt somewhere & i think that’s great for someone playing babs too

black canary played by lindsay watson. it’s wig time babey! i specifically wanted to pick a dark haired actress because, even though dinah’s dying her hair by the time bop rolls around, i don’t forget her roots (pun totally intended). i wanted to pick someone who looked like she could kick an army’s ass and then scoop up a child & call them sister. watson fits the bill nicely. i think she has a kind face and her interviews speak to so much determination and willpower, which is the energy i want brought to dinah.

huntress played by tea falco. she’s an italian actress from sicily (like helena! who was born in the us but raised in sicily) who just has this look to her i really love, especially for bop huntress. she seems fun and beautiful and like a good teacher. i don't have a lot to say here, really. i looked at her face and went yeah that's huntress

lady blackhawk played by america ferrera. i think about zinda having a beer while huntress & canary destroy the bar & zinda walks away w the info theyre looking for. big america ferrera vibes. also i love the idea of lady blackhawk being played by an actress named america. also zinda’s hot & america ferrera’s hot i have no other notes here.

lady shiva played by lucy liu. this is the inspiration for this post and also my personal sapphic fantasy ngl. (liu is beautiful of course and i have the fattest crush on shiva lol)

nightwing played by paul eryk atlas. my understanding is that atlas is a romani british actor. he's primarily played romantic leads and def looks it. i like him for nightwing bc that's basically dick's role in bop. he serves to be barbara's on again off again bf. also atlas has long hair and i'm a long hair dick supremacist (now. wigs do exist but dude got LUUUSHHH hair). (runner up: jan cina, who's just a little too ectomorphic for nightwing for my tastes. sorry dude)

ted kord played by robert buckely. i got nothing to say. buckely has a nice smile and is otherwise a white dude w brown hair. which is also what ted is. so. between a kord played by buckely and oracle played by gignac, oracle remains the powerhouse. as it should be.

robin (tim drake) played by jay lycurgo. was titans supposed to be awful? yes. did i see lycurgo get cast and go DAMN THAT'S TIM. yes. he has that look in his face. that's all. also i saw him in the bastard child devil show on netflix and he gave off THEE BIGGEST tim drake energy there. i was very impressed. (runner up: david mazouz just for the lols).

batman played by robert pattinson. sue me i liked the batman 2022. no notes.
