This was your first Christmas with Bada and she had made sure to make it the most cliché Christmas possible.

On Christmas Eve morning both of you had breakfast in the living room watching how the snow cover the city of Seoul while soft music played in the background.

The rest of the day was spent organizing and decorating the last details of the house since at night the team bebe and other friends would come to dinner.

When the night arrived, both were dressed up with dinner almost ready and the gifts under the tree, everything was perfect.

The night passed without any further complications, everyone enjoy the dinner and shared funny anecdotes (and others not so much) but the atmosphere was full of love and fun.

When the clock struck 12 everyone celebrated and shared the gifts.

But when the clock struck 2 in the morning everyone had already left, leaving you and Bada on the couch hugging each other sharing pajamas, completely exhausted from the long day illuminated only by your christmas tree.

"I didn't give you your gift yet," You murmured into her chest.

"I already have everything I want" Bada smiled before kissing your hair and adjusting her grip on you.

"And what is that?" You raised your face to look at her, meeting her eyes that looked at you with adoration like when someone gives you something that you had asked for a long time ago.

I think commitment scares him a bit so it might take awhile for him to pop the question

he has a pretty blunt sense of humor and sometimes things can be interpreted differently than they originally meant too

The nightcord members had decided to have a sleepover in Mizuki's house, which means you were invited.

You guys were planning on continuing the Cellphone Lovestory (Kentai Renawa) project and do a bit of a venting session or a spooky stories. "She turned around and saw her reflection on the mirror wasn't following her.." it was Mizuki's turn to tell a scary story. Most fo the times, Mizuki's story is just the same story they told you. "Mizuki, babe c'mon you've told us this for like a million times now. Do you not have any other story?" You knew that the others doesn't really have stories to tell and it was nearly 3 am, so you all decided to sleep.

"Mizuzu, can we sleep together.." the nightcord members already fell asleep, except for Kanade, you and Mizuki. Kanade is outside watching television while thinking about some lyrics. "What's up? Are you okay?" Mizuki wasn't exactly the brightest person, to be honest. "Yeah, I just can't fall asleep." You on the other hands, is a person who can't sleep very well. "It's fine. Come here."

Coffee shop date

Will pushed through the door of the coffee shop with a dignified huff and leaned against the frame for a second. He liked to think that he was in shape, but the sprint from the train station to here quickly proved him wrong. Once he regained his breath, his eyes scanned the room looking for the familiar brunet. Once he did, he wanted to scream or run or do both, anything to keep him from making a fool out of himself.

 Instead of the usual knit cardigans he’d seen the man wear, he’d swapped it out for a much darker look. A look that made Will’s knees weak and his heart stutter against his chest. Nico was wearing black ripped jeans, with a leather jacket and a tee shirt of a band Will never heard of before. His hair was slicked back into a tiny ponytail at the nape of his neck with little wispy baby hairs framing his face perfectly. Now, Will’s always been slightly impulsive but he had to remind himself that it wasn’t appropriate to stroke this man like a newborn kitten.

He felt like a toddler on Easter Sunday in his baby blue polo and khakis. While this new side of Nico was hot and definitely filled his head with some images. It also intimidated the living shit out of him. It took him all of five minutes and Nico snapping his fingers for him to realize he hadn’t moved.

“So are you going to take a seat or continue staring?”Nico said playfully. He felt the telltale signs of a blush prickle across his cheeks and he immediately took a seat in the booth. Now that he was out of his daze he realized it was a quaint little place, the walls were littered with little antiques and baroque style paintings. It seemed very Nico. A little odd, but overall familiar. 

“Sorry i’m late”He said and gnawed on his bottom lip, “The train was delayed for some reason”

“No need to apologize”Nico said, “I wasn’t on time myself” 

He nodded and tried to buy a little time fidgeting with his windbreaker.

“I like your jacket,”He said, and gave a silent cheer for stringing together a coherent sentence.

“So do I, that's why I bought it,”Nico said. Will’s eyes widened slightly because fuck he’s already managed to say the wrong thing. He started to stammer out an apology for being so him, but the brunet cut him off with a barking laugh. One you wouldn’t expect to come out of his body, a little too loud for a coffee shop but it made Will laugh too. Once Nico finally got over his laughing fit and Will got over his shock because he made Nico laugh, the brunet spoke.

“Please don’t take me too seriously, I'm known for my dry humour”Nico said in between chuckles. “Runs in my family, honestly think I get it from my father”

“I think I get mine from my mother”He said and giggled softly, “I always get told i’m a lot like her”

“Yeah, my mother and I were very similar too”Nico said with a fond smile, “We both loved the arts”

“I’m probably overstepping but you said were, did she…?”He asked carefully.

“She passed a long time ago,”Nico said. “It’s okay to ask, don’t feel the need to walk on eggshells with me. I’m a tough cookie” he gave a little wink and smiled so wide it reached his ears. His smile was tinged with a little sadness but he was okay. The longer they sat here, the more Will grew to realize that this could be something. He always seemed to overshoot on the first date but maybe, just maybe this could lead somewhere.

“Tell me more about her”He said, and just watching the way his eyes lit up at the mere mention of her just started ticking more boxes on his list.

“Well her name is Maria”Nico said, “And she was the most beautiful woman in this world...on this world? On this planet?”he questioned. For once he looked a little flustered and it shot Will’s expectations off of the moon and back to earth. Despite his confidence and cool demeanor, Nico was still human.

“I’m sorry”Nico blushed, “My English still gets a little fuzzy at times”

“English isn’t your first language?”He asked curiously. He knew Nico had an accent but he’d never thought about it.

“I’m from Italy,”Nico clarified, “born and raised until I came here for University. You couldn’t place the accent?”

“Of course I could”He said rolling his eyes, “I just think it’s cool”

“Where are you from?”Nico asked, “Your accent sounds southern”

“I have an accent?”He asked scrunching up his nose, “I’ve never thought of that”

“You Americans never do think of that”Nico teased, “let me make a guess!”

“Go for it,”He said.

“Hmm, Virginia!”Nico exclaimed, then clamped a hand over his mouth. And Will couldn’t believe how fucking cute he was. The same Nico who’d intimidated half of the staff with his glare was sitting here gesturing wildly and guessing the most absurd places. Will shook his head and Nico guessed again.

“Boston!”

“That’s not even in the south!”he said, pointing a finger.

“Right”Nico said to himself, “um, Utah?”

“How dare you?”He gagged, “Alright you’re out of guesses”

“Damn it”Nico pouted, “I didn’t want to know that badly anyways”

“Sore loser”He said sticking out his tongue, “I’m from Texas”

“I was going to guess that next!”Nico cried out.

“Mhm sure you were”He teased. Before Nico could respond a blonde waiter walked up to the table. 

“So you two lovebirds gonna order anything or just sit here?” Nico’s face quickly flushed and he groaned, dropping his head in his hands.

“Jason!”Nico whined.

“What?”Jason smirked, “I was just pointing out the obvious”

“It’s the first date, don’t say things like that!”Nico scolded.

“Whatever neeks”Jason said shaking his head, “It’s kind of illegal to just loiter”

“I ordered water earlier,”Nico huffed.

“That doesn’t count and you know it,”Jason scoffed.

“But it does,”Nico argued.

“Doesn’t”

“I own the shop”

“I don’t care!”

“I’ll take a coffee!”Will blurted out, “Just stop, you guys are worse than my preschoolers”

“No we’re not!”They said, and Will audibly scoffed. Yeah right.

“Yeah right”He said, “Nico stop arguing. Jason, pleasure to meet you but please leave”

“So he has a backbone after all”Nico muttered and Will narrowed his eyes.

“If you weren’t so cute i’d take offence”He said.

“Aw you think he’s cute”Jason gushed.

“Leave!”

After the Jason Grace influenced fumble the two quickly recovered and talked for hours about everything. The little voice in Will’s head was telling him to run out while he still could, that they’ve been out too long for a first date and he would ruin it. But seeing that smile on Nico’s face and hearing his laughter silenced it for the time being. And the straight out of a movie scene ride home on Nico’s moped seemed to silence it forever. As he laid in bed that night with promises of a second date fresh on his mind, he realized that no matter how anxious he’s felt all day. He’s made the right choice.

Amaniz hummed happily as she eats her breakfast as her mother did her hair, she looked to the side seeing the blue-haired bear walk-in “hey uncle nkita how are you today?!” she asked cheerily “eheh im doing well im gonna go visit void” and star tod-” he was cut off by his brother “star?! Your gonna visit her?” he asked excitingly “yeah you both wanna join?” nkita asked “hmmm can I mom?” she looked up at her mother “yeah sure we’ll all visit her” the blonde agrees “yay!” amaniz cheered running up to her room to get dressed 

“You ok lex?” nkita sat next to her “yeah im fine…..just….thinking” she sighs into her hands “have you slept?” he asked “no…” “have you eaten?” “...bearly…” “have you drunk water?” “...kinda?.....” nkita frowned at her answers “lexiy...you have to take care of yourself if not for your ideals but for amaniz” he sighed helping her into her wheelchair “I will just need to know a few things before im sure I can get back into the swing of things” she smiled “Ok let’s go!” amaniz smiled as she started pushing her mother’s wheelchair

They all walked to the sixth floor into the room “knock knock” Monos peaked in seeing a sleeping void and still under intensive care star. I know I was first to clock out then void but there were only two monsters left and when I clocked out I took down the second one and im sure void easily bet the last before he got flicked…...but star is as powerful as me so even she could have finished it off….and she took the least amount of damage...which means she was using her magic power for something else….presumably to keep me and void breathing before back up arrived….and yet” she was cut off by Monos “she’s still low on magic power which isn’t normal...if she had an anti-magic tumour they would have told us about it” he rubbed his chin 

“Looks like we got our selves a mission~” void smirked looking at lex making her smirk “yeah~” “Heyyyyy!!! It’s my birthday can we go to my party now?” amaniz whined “im sorry sweetie lets go~” lexiy cheered “hm” void was helped up by void “eheheheh i finally get to go outside again” (2021 mood) void smiled “you guys go on ahead I’ll stay here for a bit” Monos pulled up a chair “OKI! We’ll be at the beach house!” nkita called out as the group left the room.

“Woooow look at her big cousin what happened?” he heard the hellish voice of his little cousin “this is the love of my life sadly hurt because of my incompatibility to protect her” he mumbled “oh you fool its so obvious why this year was so tough,” she said annoyed “you d-” he looked behind him then noticed she was gone “damm...come on Monos use your brain,” he told himself before hearing the tv switch on “breaking news emergency request for guild wizards to help solve the recent town massacres. But with are powerful wizards out of commission we are calling out to any willing wizards to guard the following cities!” the news anchors voice rang through his ears “the wizard saints are out?...wait job season is for every wizard alive that’s in a guild or group which means…” his eye widen “you finally noticed with job season being impeccable hard for everyone so that mea-” he was cut off by his phone ringing “huh” he picked it up “Hello?” he answered “mono dude you’ve been at the hospital for almost an hour you good?” void asked his voice coming through his phone “oh I’ll be there soon hold on” he hung up. He looked back at star then looks back at the tv before picking up his bag and rushing out the hospital.

Amaniz gently hugged ivey “I am no regretting giving you those hug coupons” he groaned as she hugged him tighter “eheheh deal with it ivey” phe smirked as she had a slice of cake ‘you kids are so cute too bad’ they all looked at amaniz “did you say something?” el asked “hmm? What no I didint..did I??” she panicked sightly “no I dont think so” vivi mumbled “oh well movie time!!” amaniz cheered as the other kids joined her cheer before crowding around the tv.

Nkita smiled upon the seen thinking back to when something similar happened- flaaasshhhhhhhh back by like id years-

He slowly woke up to the soft snores of his brother and little cousin. He slowly sat up hearing the soft crackling of the fire “hmm..chara? What’s up?” he slowly crawled out sitting next to the white-haired demon “I dont know what to get for your cousin for her birthday….” she frowned making him laugh “ a flower would do fine..she loves them” he pat her shoulder “you sure?” she looked at him nervously “yeah of course” he smiled before shu hugged him “oh thank you nkita!” she smiled softly, the bluenette blushed before gently running his fingers through her Pure white hair, soft purrs slowly turning into soft snores. -~~~~- “Hey i called that snack” phe tried to grab ivey “too slow bitch” he taunted snapping nkita out his memories “eheh you kids have fun ok?” nkita yawned “where are you all going?” el asked “we have to go check on a few things you guys stay here ok?” lexiy ordered as they left.

“So do we sneak out”ivey sat up “negative” vivi glared at him “oh come ne were in the magic part of town! We should explore the forest” phe smirked using her creepy voice. Making el cling to the birthday girl “i-i dont think we s-” “only for an hour” amaniz slimed wanting a little danger for her birthday “ok so how do we get out” ivey said ignoring sinwas and el’s protests. “Follow me!” amaniz chimed as she walked upstairs the others right behind her “my mom’s room~” amaniz opened the door revealing the blonde dragonslayers bedroom “oh wow...less sluttier then i thought it’d b-” amaniz smacked him “shush you!” she glared “any way we can climb out her window, and get into the forest!” she explained to her boring magicless friends 

“I-i dont think we should i-it seems like a bad idea” el chimed in with vivi and sinwa nodding in agreement “you scaredy cats we’ll be back in an hour vivi time us ok?” phe pouted before climbing down the window the other following in suit.

Much to phe and Ivey’s disappointment there weren’t any magic monsters “g-guys I think we should-” “split up! Great idea” phe an ivey interrupted him making the young boy cry inside slightly “i dont know about splitting up this place could be a death trap for all I know” amaniz warned “pfftt you, big baby, you just dont know how to have fun” ivey smirked at her “well I thi-” crunch-, a loud crunch scared the group making them all jump “w-w--w-w-w-w--wwait was that,” el said in fear clinging to sinwa “oh its just this” ivey shoved amaniz out the way picking up a small necklace with the ying-yang on it “oooo pretty” phe smiled at it “we should return into its owner you cretens” vivi scowled as ivey mimicked her.  Amaniz slowly picked up the necklace…..
