Imagine sitting in your room, doing routine stuff, when suddenly you hear air raid siren shouting behind your window. You’re immediately grabbing your pet, blanket and few candles. Electricity is turned off, there’s no lighting, no noice from the fridge or lamps or other. You’re entering your bathroom that is the most save place in the apartment when you hear an explosion somewhere next to your house, windows and walls are shaking. The sound of explosion is abrupt and dull, that wasn’t the first time at all you heard it. You sit next to the wall, light up some candles and start to call your closed ones, sit frozen till they answer. And you keep hearing explosions around you in the full darkness. You’re surviving it today but you don’t know what will be the next time.

Sounds pretty scary yeah? Just like some epic and exciting war movie. Surely this will never happen to you right? Me and my closed ones thought the same just some time ago. But now this text above is our reality now. I repeat - this is the reality for EVERY ukrainian, every peaceful citizen, just like you. We have to deal with it for almost a year now. This can happen ANYTIME, ANYWHERE. The missiles don’t care if you’re in a bathroom, if you have plans for today, if you’re drawing some fanart. They just want to destroy you, destroy electric stations, destroy your comfort, destroy your life.

This is the plan of r*ssians for today. They are directly targeting civilians every day, just for us being Ukrainians and wanting to live on our land. The terrorists won’t leave you alone till they reach what they want.

Hiya!

I'm home! Mom already cleaned up everything when she got here, saving me from more cleaning. The broken windows are boarded up and the internet isn't working, but mobile data is working much better than anything I had access to the past months. Both the windows and internet should be able to get fixed this week.

Unfortunately, my gym is in shambles. It seems inevitable to shut it down, which would be a huge loss. I might be able to retrieve some of the equipment and sell that to make up for it a little bit. It hurts to think about it.

This will be a busy week sorting out everything. I should be able to get back on track and post more frequently from next week onwards. In the meantime, I am posting remaining media from the refuge twice a week in my free members area, to be found under 'join' (or 'feed' when logged in) on my website, linked in my bio.

••• ніхто не жаліє мертвих, ніхто не жаліє вбитих, слова на могилах стерті, щоб їх не читали діти. ніхто не жаліє смерті й життя, що так і не сталось. слова на граніті затерті, а пам'ять, хоча і здавалось, що не підведе ніколи, і перед очима завше стоятимуть терикони і очі зарано павших, а все-таки це неправда, і пам'ять стирає мітки, і все, що було недавно стає дуже давнім і хитким. і більше нікому не сумно, і більше нікому не жаль вже, бо мертвих ховають бездумно під звуки столітніх маршів. за мертвими трохи плачуть, живим надсилають фото. до всього звикають і, бачиш, в пріоритеті робота, в пріоритеті квартира, податки, машина, діти - в пріоритеті живі, а мертві порослі квітами. ніхто не жаліє вбитих, жаліють лиш тих, хто лишився, - не тих хто міг би радіти, а тих, хто втомився злитися. жаліють живих і винних, жаліють катів без свободи, а тихо полеглих вбитих не згадують без нагоди. не зручно про смерть і про пам’ять, не зручно про некрасиве, накласти табу! бо ранять слова, за якими безсилля. ніхто не заплаче за мертвим через роки з плином часу, бо плакати після смерті - це інше, чужинське гасло. усі обіцяють помститись, усі обіцяють розплати, і плющ продовжує витись і речі вже можна роздати: і можна віддати книги, і можна роздати одяг, бо мертвим воно непотрібно. живі же від того ходять сумн�� і з розбитим серцем, а серце треба латати. тож варто віддати берці і пообіцяти розплати. але не заплакать за мертвим, але не жаліти вбитих, живі - вони, бачиш, вперті, в живих же квартира, діти… і скільки пустого місця в труні, що стоїть під стягом. і скільки пустого в лицях - живим таке непідвладно. тому не жаліють мертвих, тому їм не жаль вже вбитих. слова на могилах стерті, щоб їх не читали діти.

2)I am sorry for this person and I understand that this is a misunderstanding I understand that they are traumatised and this is why they are so unnecessarily aggressive and rude
