your not to sure how you’ve ended up in london, when you got on the flight from dublin or how you ended up at your big sisters front door, you just remember the argument, you remember storming out of school and you remember your ma shouting and doors slamming and now you were in London on a chilly wednesday evening.

You hesitated to knock scared of what Katie’s reaction will be, you haven’t seen her much recently and you’ve been ignoring her frequent calls and messages asking how you were, if you were going to the game or if you were going to call tonight despite your pretty much radio silence towards your older sister she persisted in messaging you, each one being left unopened.

“y/n what the fuck are you doing here? ma has been worried sick”.

you hear a familiar irish accent shout, flinching slightly at the tone of her voice, she sounded furious, you’ve seen your big sister angry on multiple occasions but not like this, it scared you.

“i’m sorry”.

you say barely above a whisper looking down at the floor the tiling on the porch suddenly much more interesting then it was 30 seconds ago.

“Sorry isn’t gonna cut it y/n you’ve had the entire family out searching for you, i was on my way to get a flight over to come and help and you turn up here with zero explanations as to how you’ve ended up here, you ran away from school yet again and now your kicked out of yet another school, ma is in an absolute state she’s at her wits with you y/n”

you wish the ground could swallow you right there and then, you wish you wasn’t having this conversation with katie, you wanted to be tucked up in bed away from her, away from everything going on.

“i didn’t mean to scare ma”

you tell her sincerely making a point to look her in eyes.

“ i don’t know what happened honestly i don’t even know how i got here it’s like i don’t even know what’s going on with me anymore”

your words hang in the air for a few minutes as katie observes you she can see your shaky breathes, she notices your eyes darting around the floor looking anywhere but at her.

She wants to wrap you up and keep you safe from the world, she wants nothing more than to know what’s going with you.

“Hey it’s okay y/n i’m sorry i shouted at you i was just worried, i’ve been worried about you and i just want to help you, let’s get you inside and ill get cait to make you her famous hot chocolates and we can talk about things alright?”

she questions tilting her head slightly although it’s more of a demand then a question not wanting to anger her further you nod.

Sat on Katie’s sofa, hot chocolate in hand and snuggled with coopurr is not how you expected you’d spend the evening when you woke up, you had plans to go out with your friends to the nearest fields where all the teenagers in Kilnamanagh hung out, those plans seemed long gone now though.

you wondered for a spilt second if your friends would care that you hadn’t shown up , if they were worried as to where you’d disappeared to before remembering that they didn’t care, not really, no one truly cared.

you weren’t happy and you hadn’t been for a long time, you were struggling more then you cared to admit your smile no longer met your eyes, your football boots were discarded in a cupboard somewhere having not been worn in months, not touched a ball in months, you were getting into trouble more often then not, having been taken home by the police on more then one occasion for anti social behaviour, your attendance had slipped you no longer cared for getting perfect grades or for winning awards to take home to your family for your ma to put up proudly around the house to show off their perfect daughter.

you were a silhouette of the girl you used to be, the small carefree little girl who ran wild with a ball at her feet, the little girl who didn’t care about the opinions of strangers, the mischievous grin that you used to wear constantly had vanished replaced by a constant scowl, one which you were currently displaying.

Feeling your sisters gaze fall on you, you begrudgingly look up at her.

“What happened at school y/n”.

she questions searching your face for answers.

“the teachers pissed me off”

“language y/n your 15 quit with the swearing already” she says giving you a pointed look.

“right yeah sorry anyways they annoyed me so i left i hate school it’s so shit i can’t stand that place i don’t get the work cause im stupid and it’s just horrible katie”

you know that’s not the whole truth and whilst yes your head of year had annoyed you but it wasn’t why you got on a flight and it wasn’t why you ran out of school.

Katie’s eyebrows raised in question.

“so you ran away got on a flight, came to my door to lie straight to my face when all i want to do is to help you”

biting your lip you hesitate slightly, the tension in the room coming to all time high.

“im not lying”

she scoffs at you shaking her head slightly.

“Me and you both know that theirs more to the story then what your letting on y/n your lies aren’t gonna cut it this time, they may

work on ma but i know when your lying”.

your sisters voice sounds more firm and more confident then your own.

Trembling slightly you continue to act oblivious, biting your lip as you do so, this time drawing a small amount of blood.

“There’s nothing more to the story just drop it katie”

You can’t look at her in the eyes, you can’t tell her the full extent of what happened in fear that she’ll judge you or blame you for what happened.

scoffing she closes her eyes before taking a deep breathe as comes and sits opposite you placing her own hands in yours and looking up at you searching for clues as to what was going on.

“I know your lying to me right now i’m not stupid, we can sit here all night and keep going round in circles until you tell me the full truth, no more running from it and no more lies”.

You didn’t know what to make of that statement, you’d never heard her be so firm with you before, You knew deep down you wanted to tell her what happened that night and what happened at school you wanted her comfort in fact you needed her comfort, one of her hugs.

“Do you promise you won’t be disappointed you can be angry but please don’t be disappointed in me i’m really sorry katie”

Katie’s face softens slightly and she shakes her head.

“ I’ll never be disappointed in you y/n angry yes but never disappointed im so proud of you bug i always will be no matter what”.

“erm like maybe 3 or 4 months ago um well i went to a party and um this boy he he”

you couldn’t finish your sentence, the memories from that night came rushing back to you, the way he smelled and the way he spoke to you, what he did to you, it repulsed you to think about, to think of his touch.

“ i- i can’t-t breathe”

whatever anger Katie had previously held towards you completely disappeared as she wrapped her arms around your shaking body.

“i’ve got you sweetheart let it all out it’s okay, i’ve got you”

films: sooooo many good first watches in 2023, surprisingly a lot in the first couple months which I think set a precedent for a year of fruitful viewings 🔮 I made a top 25 list so shoutout to the other 20 that I painstakingly sifted from 300+ watches but ok my top 5 were:

books: Dogeaters by Jessica Hagedorn, Near to the Wild Heart by Clarice Lispector, The Essential Dykes to Watch Out For by Alison Bechdel, The Carnivorous Lamb by Agustín Gómez Arcos, The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison -- ALL FICTION, CAN YOU BELIEVE!! I really loved a lot of the nonfiction I read last year too but these stories stuck with me the most/lingered on my mind the longest

music: I'm bad at keeping up with new music so I don't really have new releases to gush about like if I had to think of strictly 2023 releases I probably enjoyed Mitski + Kelela's albums the most but if I'm so real I didn't really come back to either of them often -- the artists I did consistently return to throughout the year were Danza Invisible, Chanel Beads, Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions, Pixies, and like all 3 of Kathleen Hanna's bands 🧘‍♀️

tv shows: I'm even worse at tv we know this but I got my sister hooked on early Survivor seasons so that's a win in my book 🙏 the last few months of the year I watched a lot of Boy Meets World + Portlandia randomly, probably bc I got sick for the first time in years n just wanted some easy watching that I knew I'd like.. OH and The State!! overall, yet another great year of watching irrelevant television that hasn't been on air for years 🙌

2023 was a really good year of reconnecting with friends + family for me!! I saw people I hadn't seen or spoken to in yearssssss just because of life and distance and whatnot but I've been more willing to go out of my way to make things happen/make my desire to reconnect #known and it's been really fruitful + reminds me of being in college doing the most just to go to a concert or meet up with some friends for the weekend IDK like the "inconvenience" of the process making the result that much sweeter or whateva :-) this one's silly and random but I cancelled my spotify premium subscription a few days ago (missed the billing cycle by a day so technically I'm still a premium user til the end of this month smh) which I've been meaning to do for a while but Finally I did it and I feel like this

Ghost installed the security system while Rodolfo hung out with Soap. So far, Alejandro hadn't spoke to him. Ghost had to admit he was grateful, since he didn't like talking to people.

"Why are you helping him?" Alejandro asked, after a moment. Ghost was confused by his tone. It wasn't... upset. It was... jealous. "What do you get out of it?"

Ghost looked at him. "He's keeping my boyfriend from leaving me."

"Soap, right?" Alejandro nodded. "Good. Stick with Soap. Keep away from Rudy."

Ghost blinked at him. "You-" Alejandro was odd. "I could let you go, right now."

"I don't want you to. I like being here." Alejandro shrugged. Since Ghost was there, Alejandro didn't have to be tied up. Rodolfo had apparently quickly taken to trusting Ghost.

They both could land the other in hot water, so... it was a mutual trust. "He's kidnapped you." Ghost raised an eyebrow, turning back to the little devices that he was installing on the windows.

"He's never been great at expressing his feelings." Alejandro nodded and sighed. "I'm helping him with it."

"He's killed... at least two people that I know of." Rodolfo had also told Ghost about Amelie. How he'd just wanted her to shut up. He'd felt threatened.

Ghost had very quickly picked up on Rodolfo not being a psychopath. He was... something. Deeply traumatized if he had to take a guess. Both times Rodolfo had described killing, he'd seemed to feel deeply threatened. Afraid. He'd said he was calculated before Amelie, but Ghost wondered if Rodolfo would have been able to go through it if she hadn't have threatened him.

"Three. And he's getting better." Alejandro nodded a little. "He just lashes out."

Ghost laughed, softly. "Does he lash out at you?"

"Never. Not physically." Alejandro shook his head. "He just wants to be loved. I'm trying to show that I love him."

Ghost looked at Alejandro again, raising an eyebrow. "How... healthy."

"Love doesn't have to be healthy." Alejandro shrugged. He leaned his head back. "I don't have stockholm, by the way."

"Yeah, real convincing." Ghost snorted and shook his head.

Alejandro grinned. "You're safe, right? You won't call the cops?"

"I can't without burning myself." Ghost winced and finally finished setting up the devices. "Why?"

Alejandro shrugged. "I beat the shit out of someone in high school because they looked at Rodolfo. I like that he's willing to kill for me. I'd do the same if I had the chance. You should see him... It's a beautiful sight."

"You're both fucked up." Ghost couldn't help laughing. Oh, how brilliant. Rodolfo's little psychotic self had gotten himself a little psychotic boyfriend.

Alejandro shrugged and leaned back. "You're one to talk. According to Rudy, you stalked Soap for several months."

Ghost cringed. "I... I wasn't sure how to talk to him."

"Normal people don't jump to stalking when they aren't sure how to talk to someone." Alejandro mocked and then pulled his legs up, sitting criss cross. "How'd you do it??"

"You're fucking crazy." Ghost shook his head before pausing. He had to admit, he liked Alejandro. "You can use a knife to unlock most windows." He sighed, after a moment. "So I did that, and I'd break in. Take stuff. Leave notes. He liked it, so..."

"Brilliant!" Alejandro grinned and nodded. "And it worked?"

"We're together." Ghost shrugged and chuckled. He leaned back a bit. "You're interesting."

"Thank you, I try to be." Alejandro shrugged. "You know, I know you're allies with Rudy, but I think we should be friends. I need help getting Rodolfo to believe I love him."

Ghost frowned. "I don't... have friends."

"You do now, hermano." Alejandro nodded and nudged him.

Ghost was unsure how to feel. Alejandro seemed a little unstable, but Ghost was incredibly unstable, so- maybe they'd be good friends. "Alright." He relented and nodded.

"Awesome! So how did you win Soap over?"

Ghost laughed and shook his head. "I still don't know. Attention, I guess."

"I give Rodolfo all of that." Alejandro groaned and leaned back. "I can't access my cards or I'd give him gifts. And he's... weird about sex. I can't blame him, what he went through was horrible."

"Can you cook? Rodolfo seems romantic." Ghost offered, though he was also useless at this stuff. He'd never intended to manage to woo Soap, so getting as far as he did was a shock to him. Ghost was way out of his depth, here.

"No. I'm useless at it." Alejandro sighed and slumped a little.

Ghost considered. "I could convince Rodolfo to... let you take him on a date?"

Alejandro perked up again. "You'd do that? Fuck, wait, I still don't have my cards. Rudy didn't bring them over."

Ghost shrugged. "I can break into your apartment. I'll bring them over, tomorrow."

"And new clothes, please, hermano." Alejandro relaxed and then grinned again. "Thank you so much."

Breaking into Alejandro's apartment had been fairly easy. He'd gotten everything Alejandro asked for, including several pairs of jeans and tee shirts. Ghost wondered why Rodolfo hadn't grabbed any of that stuff.

Now, they were sitting on Rodolfo's bed, looking at gifts Alejandro could order.

"What if the police think someone stole your cards?" Ghost asked, tilting his head.

"Eh, I'll tell them I used them." Alejandro shrugged. "I'm sure it'll be fine."

Ghost snorted and rubbed over his face, over the mask of course. He was not that close with Alejandro, yet. "Yeah, sure."

Alejandro made a face as he scrolled through everything. Ghost had brought over his laptop so Alejandro could use it. "All of this isn't good enough. I need something that's really gonna wow him." He cursed in Spanish for a moment.

"I mean, it's gimmicky but what about those crystal roses?" Ghost shrugged, pointing to one. It was the ones that had lights in a cloche with them. "They're called eternity roses." Ghost thought they were stupid as hell, but he also remembered Soap had gone nuts for a nebula ball.

He had to assume Rodolfo and Soap were close friends for a reason. Maybe they both liked dumb stuff like this.

Alejandro seemed to consider before shrugging and adding it to the cart. Several moments later and the cart was easily in the triple digits, price wise. "Jesus, you can afford all of this??"

"Trust fund baby." Alejandro shrugged.

Ghost snorted and held out his fist to bump, since he was also a trust fund baby. The great Frank Riley had died and left him everything, by default of having no one else to give it to. He'd been a big famous rockstar with plenty of money.

Alejandro grinned and fist bumped back before turning back to the laptop. "Do you think it's enough?"

"Dude." Ghost laughed. "I think it's more than enough."

Alejandro didn't look sure, but he eventually shrugged and put his card info in before hitting buy. "Okay, now to order dinner for tonight."

Rodolfo blinked when he came home, staring at the massive pile of boxes in front of his door. Anxiety immediately filled his chest and he quickly unlocked his door, terrified. He didn't know what the boxes could mean.

"Ale! Ale!" he called, frantically, as he went inside. He dragged the boxes in, just in case, and slammed the door. The lack of response filled him with pure terror and he had to resist screaming.

"Alejandro!" He cried, running to the bedroom. He slammed into Alejandro, who was coming out of it, rubbing his eyes. Rodolfo hugged him, immediately. "Why didn't you answer?!" he accused when he jerked back, shoving him a little.

"Sorry!" Alejandro seemed surprised. "I was sleeping!" He gently took Rodolfo's hands, likely to keep him from shoving him again. "Mi sol, what's wrong??"

Rodolfo's brain quieted at the nickname and then he was just melting, unable to stay freaked out. Alejandro was still there... "I... I saw boxes and I didn't understand why and I... I thought maybe you'd escaped or someone got in and took you..."

Alejandro frowned and his eyes scanned Rodolfo's face before he was gently touching it. "Oh..." He murmured. "No, the boxes are for you! I got you a bunch of gifts! Ghost got me my cards and let me use his laptop."

"Why?!" Rodolfo was immediately pissed. Alejandro could have emailed somewhere where he was! Why would Ghost be so stupid?! "I'm going to fucking kill him-"

"Mi sol, please don't... We've become friends." Alejandro smiled down at him, still holding his hands. "I just wanted to prove to you that I love you and I thought gifts would..."

Rodolfo frowned and then he was just melting again. Oh, he was putty in Alejandro's grasp. "You... you did?"

"Yes, and I ordered dinner. I know it's a poor excuse for a date but... It's all I could do in these circumstances." Alejandro smiled more. He was clearly pleased with himself.

Rodolfo was on cloud nine. This was an amazing feeling... Was this what being loved felt like? "Okay..."

Alejandro leaned down and brushed their lips together, making Rodolfo's heart flutter. "Ale... Thank you..."

"I want you to believe that I love you..." Alejandro nodded a little, "so I'm willing to do whatever to prove that."

Rodolfo's heart fluttered again and he just melted as Alejandro cupped his face between both hands. He nuzzled into Alejandro's touch and then smiled up at him, again. "What did you order for dinner?"

"Let me show you." Alejandro tugged him to the kitchen.

Soap grinned when Ghost came home, so excited to tell him that he'd managed to convince Rodolfo that their relationship was a good thing. "You'll never believe it! I convinced Rudy!"

"Good." Ghost relaxed and nodded, sitting by Soap. "I knew you would."

"Yeah, when we hung out, together, he started to ask about you and then he eventually just said that maybe he'd misjudged you. He's invited you to hang out with Gaz, his fiance, him and me on Friday!" Soap was so excited. He wanted so badly for Ghost to get along with his friends. He wanted them to like each other.

"I don't know..." Ghost winced. "Four people sounds like a lot..."

"Well, it's just three new people and me." Soap shrugged, frowning. He really wanted Ghost to go. "Please?"

Ghost looked at him for a moment before sighing and relaxing. "You know I can't say no to you, Johnny."

Soap grinned. "I count on it."

Ghost shook his head before he was lifting his mask, slightly, to lean over and kiss Soap's temple. Soap relaxed and closed his eyes. "I oblige you more than I should, Johnny."

"Hey, you're the one who stalked me for several months. If anything, I've earned this for putting up with your creepy ass bullshit." Soap laughed and then he was climbing into Ghost's lap, straddling him. "Oblige me some more... Simon..." He purred.

Ghost looked up at him, silent for a bit, before his hands were grabbing Soap's thighs, borderline death gripping them. "How?"

Soap grinned and slid his fingers under the edge of Ghost's mask before carefully sliding it up. He paused when he made it to where Ghost normally rested it, waiting.

Ghost didn't stop him, though he still tensed a little. So, Soap continued. He pushed the mask fully off Ghost's face, before just melting.

Ghost was so pretty... Blonde hair, like he'd promised, that was messy and stuck up in odd directions. The grease paint that he wore under the mask was smeared everywhere, so it created a shadow around his eyes. His face was angular in a soft way, somehow. Narrow.

His big blue eyes seemed to be scanning Soap's reaction. Soap touched over his face, wanting to memorize every angle. Every ratio. Every line. Every scar.

Soap traced every feature with his fingertips, careful not to smudge the makeup more. "You're beautiful..." He murmured, after a moment.

Ghost's features melted with relief and Soap smiled. "You think so, Johnny?"

"I know so." Soap nodded a little. And he did. Ghost was so completely beautiful. He was in love with him and every single piece of him.

"When you say it, I can almost believe it." Ghost murmured.

Soap frowned. He didn't understand how Ghost could look in the mirror and have any doubts about how undeniably gorgeous he was. "You should fully believe it. Simon, I have never meant any other words more in my life than I mean these when I say that you are the most beautiful person I have ever laid my eyes on and if I went through life without seeing another more beautiful person, I wouldn't be surprised and I would only accept it."

Ghost's face turned bright red and Soap couldn't help melting at the sight of it. He traced over the skin that turned red, smiling. "You're poetic." Ghost chuckled, after a moment. "You like to talk."

"You like when I talk." Soap snorted and leaned down, kissing him, softly. "I love you, Ghost."

"I love you, too, Johnny."

Here's my idea : so reader is a general from another kingdom that is in war with briar valley and there they met Lilia on the battle field cuz yk Lilia used to be a general.

So now we have two routes:

Route 1: they developed feelings during the war and kept there relationship a secret, and after a peace treaty was signed they publicly announced their relationship.

Route 2: it has been years since the war happened,reader decides to attend nrc cuz she's bored or something and there she reunites and old friend or should I say foe ? It's an understatement to say that they're both shocked to see each other here and are quite confused on how to feel for one another, on one hand the war was many years ago none of them have any reason to keep hating each other, on the other hand though they've had many unpleasant, to say the least, encounters in the past which ended with each hating the other even more then they already do. So after about a month of contemplating they both decide to move on and get to know each other after a few months of befriending each other they both fell in love and the rest I'll leave to your glorious brain (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)

Pick the route you like most I personally like route 2 but I wanted to leave you some options (◕ᴗ◕✿)

Also could you add jealous/yandere Lilia in there ? 🙏 I'd really appreciate it if you do but if you don't want to that's okay ☺️ so sorry if this too specificಥ‿ಥ

lilia x reader who was a general fighting against briar valley (fem!reader)

I'M SO LATE I AM SORRY. i still hope that you like these headcanons though! also it was a bit hard to come up with them, you wrote so much, i didn't even know what to add here, haha. (but your ideas are soooo interesting!) i chose route 2 and i hope you don't mind me changing some details! also the reader character here is a fae, i thought it would be easier for me to write it that way. 

warnings: mentions of war, yandere themes, possible ooc, mentions of obsession, scars and some physical violence (mostly just mentions of you and lilia trying to kill each other in the past and you attacking lilia at some point).

♡ you still remember the war, even though it happened years, maybe even centuries ago. it was a tough one, that's for sure, mostly because of how strong and skilled your enemies were. one of them was especially interesting.. no, you can't call someone who was your enemy a word like that. let's say that he was especially dangerous. honestly, if it wasn't for the peace treaty, you wouldn't be surprised if briar valley won just because of that guy's strength and powers. you're not saying this because you're not confident in your skills or you think that your army was too weak, you're just stating a fact. but to your shock, after it ended, your worst enemy came to you and.. said that if you were given more time, you would totally win? and then he just walked away with that usual mysterious smile of his. well, whatever, you could never understand him and his thought process anyway. 

♡ that war happened a very, very long time ago. your kingdom is safe, you didn't have a war like that in many years and you deserved to finally take a break. however, you had no idea what to do, your whole life was just fighting and trying to protect your kingdom, what are you supposed to do now? hm, maybe you should just.. focus on your education for now? it feels so weird to say it right now, when younger fae can already call you a grandma. but hey, it's never too late to learn something new, right? 

♡ so, you started attending nrc, a school for the greatest magicians in twisted wonderland. you didn't find it that special, really, but it sure was fun to meet so many young students and hang out with them. you almost feel like you're a teenager again. maybe coming here wasn't a bad idea- wait, who's that? why do they look so familiar? it's almost like you've seen that person before.. oh, of course you did. you've literally fought against each other in a war before. but why is he here? isn't he a bit too old for this? though you know you're not the best person to say this  just what is lilia vanrouge himself doing here?

♡ lilia is just as surprised as you are, however, for some reason he seems very.. happy about it? it's like he's genuinely glad to see you again after all these years. you ask him about it and he just laughs, saying that what happened between you two was so long ago, you can read about it in the history textbooks, but now the world is completely different and it doesn't look like there even was a war. lilia even confesses that he always thought that if it wasn't for the war, you two would become great friends. he always wanted to get to know you more, but of course, he couldn't do it because of obvious reasons. but he did admire you and he still meant it, when he said that if you were given more time, you would totally win. 

♡ you want to say that you're surprised lilia is not as serious about it as you are.. but you're not. lilia has always been like this, even on the battlefield, he still had that playful smile and the war felt like a game to him. though that only managed to make him look more terrifying. of course, this guy doesn't think much of it anymore and he's even happy to see you. but to hear that he always admired you and wanted to learn more about you.. for some reason, your heart beats faster after you hear these words. no, you can't think of him like that. maybe lilia is still acting like his carefree self, but you remember just how much you had to go through because of him. and this was supposed to be just a nice and relaxing break for you..

♡ .. you hate to admit it, but for some unknown reason you actually enjoy the time you've been spending with lilia. you still have to stop yourself from punching him every time he says something dumb, but sometimes listening to him talk about random stuff makes all your worries go away. of course, you'd never tell him the truth, he would never shut up about it then. he already teases you way too much, you can't even tell when he's being serious or not.. wait, why do you even want him to be serious? come on, y/n, you know this man, he was your enemy but you know him better than you knew some of your friends. lilia vanrouge will just keep playing with your heart and emotions like that until you finally break. that's how he's always been, so don't you even think of getting attached to someone like him.

♡ you hate yourself for thinking about him all the time. just how can you betray your own kingdom like this? no, you don't care, if the war happened a long time ago, you still can't.. well, uh, you can't like someone who you had to fight in the past! he literally tried to kill you so many times, you can't fall in love with someone like him! he is not a "mysterious and attractive villain who you end up catching feelings for" and this is not an enemies to lovers novel. and even if you do admit your feelings for him, what's next? lilia definitely doesn't love you back, he just sees you as his toy, he expects you to fall right into his trap. and if someone finds out about your relationship.. no, you don't want to think about it.

♡ that's it, you just have to meet someone new. there are so many students you can talk to, why do you keep spending time with lilia anyway?.. wait, maybe you shouldn't think about answering this question. so, you start making more and more friends and you're not that scared of falling for lilia anymore. who knows, maybe you'll even forget about him soon! yes, that would be better for both of you. you start forming an especially close bond with a particular student and you see and talk to each other every day. he's mostly just a friend to you, but.. maybe there could be something more? you don't actually have any feelings for him, but if dating him will make lilia leave you alone..

♡ hm, for some reason that student started acting weird recently. he's ignoring you and whenever you try to talk to him, he runs away, almost like he's scared of you or something. but why would he even be scared of you? you thought you had a pretty good relationship, there even was a chance of it becoming more romantic. so why would he suddenly- ohh, you get it. you get it now. this student isn't scared of you, he's just scared of becoming closer with you. and he doesn't want to talk to you anymore because he knows that someone will be very angry if you two actually fall in love with each other. and you know so well who this person is. 

♡ why is he doing this? does he just want to make you suffer? you knew it, he never truly cared about you. just how could you be so naive? even though you literally fought in a war, deep inside you're still that innocent girl that you were before all of it happened. you find lilia and ask him what he did to that student. at first he looks surprised, but he quickly realizes that there's no point in playing dumb. you are a smart girl, after all, he always knew that. so, what happened between him and that student? oh, lilia just threatened him and said that if he even thinks of dating you, he will regret it greatly. you're sure that lilia said something a lot more scary to him, he probably just doesn't want to describe the details right now.

♡ you grab him by his throat, his short height really didn't help him that much. and for some reason he doesn't even try to resist. you just want to know why he did this. is he just a sadistic monster? or maybe that's his revenge for everything that happened during the war? you're fine with both of these answers, you just don't want him to.. you know, actually be in love with you. oh well, looks like it's time for lilia to tell you the truth. the thing is.. he actually wasn't that honest when you two first saw each other here. lilia was shocked to see you again and he wasn't that happy about it. yes, he does admire you, that's for sure, but he remembered everything you did to him back then. you weren't the only one who got hurt. he still has some scars left from that time you were surprisingly close to killing him. sure, lilia is pretty chill and relaxed most of the time, but he wasn't that glad to see you at first. hey, even though he's kinda weird and he knows it himself, he can hold a grudge too, you know.

♡ but now that you two didn't have to think about the war anymore, lilia remembered just how interesting he found you in the past. though he wouldn't call that interest "love" or anything like that, it was something much more.. twisted. like sure, he did want to know more about you and he thought you were a fascinating person, but he still would kill you if he had to. actually, he would love to kill you, he wanted to find out all of your weaknesses. but now, as he kept talking to you and becoming closer with you whether you wanted it or not.. that interest became something more pure and innocent. wow, he really did get a crush on his enemy from the past! haha, well, that's embarrassing.

♡ he apologizes for what he did to that student though you're not sure if he's being sincere, maybe he still has the same kind of interest in you that he had in the past. maybe his love for you still has elements of obsession. it's just.. it was painful for him to think about you choosing someone else over him. like hey, even after all these years, you two have finally met again! isn't it just fate basically telling you to finally admit your feelings for each other? maybe your love for each other is not that perfect, it's flawed, some people would even think of it as toxic or disgusting, but.. it sure does exist. maybe you two could work on it together? maybe you two have to finally start being honest with each other? what do you say, y/n?

Sapphic EnGouKidou Magical Girls AU

2: What scene did you first put down?

I didn't mention this but this fic is originally a canon divergent AU where Kidou won consecutively in the FF and Gouenji and Endou didn't meet in middle school; it's engoukidou back then too. So the original dialogues and scenes have that context first before it was ever a Magical Girls AU. It goes roughly like this (this is still Haruna and Kidou's situation here btw):

Haruna: And since when did I say that?! Kidou: !! Haruna: You think this is what I want?! To live in this... stupidly fancy mansion with a full course buffet everyday?!! Is that what you thought when you... when you chose this stupid trophy!! *shoves it on his chest* when you chose winning over contacting me?!! Kidou: *voice breaking* I didn't-- I thought--!! Haruna: Yeah, exactly!! You thought!! Because you didn't think it was worth listening to me!!

I recreated it here and I still think about this... It turned into a Magical Girls AU because I wanted there to be a way for these three to act where they're away from expectations of the people in their lives and prying eyes. This also includes from each other's (because Gouenji and Kidou have a bad history and Endou initially wants to be liked by and befriend Gouenji and vice versa) and it turns out they like being silly and fighting crimes while wearing skirts (only 2 out of 3 of them likes the skirt actually)!!

4: What's your favorite line of dialogue?

I have two sets, but it's not written to be posted yet and this story is at the early parts of creation overall so the scenes and dialogues are probably going to change, but it's so funny to me. They're all transformed as magical girls in these scenes. I use the pronouns they currently use for themselves on the narration and since this is right at the start of the story, they mostly use he/him. Kidou also has an army of penguins as his weapon, I will elaborate next time.

Kidou: *takes the small penguin with a similar cape to him, thinking for a while* Call me Hotaru. *extends his hand* Endou: *shakes the beautiful lady's hands vigorously* MAMO--MAM-- MOMOKO!! Kidou: *sweatdrops with a small smile* Did you just come up with that? Endou: N--NO!! Kidou: *scoffs in amusement* of course...

-- Different scene and chapter --

Kidou: I'm Hotaru and that one shouting over there is my partner Momoko Gouenji: *nods* Nice to meet you... *ties the villains even tighter with his fire laso, not really trying to ignore him* Kidou: Kidou: So what's your name? Gouenji: --Huh? Kidou: Your name? Gouenji: *blinks then looks at Kidou then at the villains* Gouenji: I don't want to tell... Kidou: I didn't tell anyone my real name either-- Endou: YOUR NAME'S NOT HOTARU?! Kidou: *hand on hip* You lied to me about yours too. Endou: N-No--How did you find out?!?

It's my favorite lines of dialogues so far since I haven't written much about it unlike my other WIPs. It's my newest one so far as the others already have months in the making. This will change in the future...

11: What do you like best about this fic?

It's so interesting to write or imagine how the break trio (and the other characters) would be if they were given the chance to wear a mask and not care about the people's expectations of them. We all know how both Kidou and Gouenji only bares themselves to very few people and that Endou most often than not wants to be the support that someone needs (in a bit of a people pleasing degree at rare times too).

Even if Kidou is canonically a trauma-dumper, he still put a face (to everyone who isn't Endou) whenever he's interacting bcs he's always aware that all of his actions have consequences for the Kidou Conglomerate. As for Gouenji, he canonically has only told his problems to Endou and have dangerous levels of following people's expectations of him ((his father + his friends expecting a powerful shoot (only what he thinks bcs they just want him to play soccer actually)).

So anyway, I think escapism would bring an interesting layer to their characters and them being an egg in the story is just probably me projecting or that I'm adding another layer to their characters.

So, before I dive into this one, Morgane's getting dumped by Timothée. This. Was. So. Gratuitously. Hurtful 😱😭 I mean, I was absolutely NOT rooting for them, but I wanted her to breakup with him, not the other way around. She objectively doesn't really care about the guy, and yet he still manages to break her heart by poking the same scar the others poked before, and I just -- 💔💔

Can we talk about how "J'ai besoin d'une relation plus...." "... simple ?" "Ouais c'est ça." "C'est toujours ça..." was such a heartbreaking exchange? Morgane being hit and ran over and over again about the SAME issue really hurt😰, and even more so when put in perspective with later stuff but 🤐🤐

Now, the timeline. 100% agreed, and I noted the same things re the inconsistencies. And the victime's date of birth made zero sense anyway since they changed her identity, right? So her zodiac sign might not be accurate, idk... Also the two months gap, which is necessary to vaguely establish Morgane and Timothée as a ~relationship, implies that Gilles kept pretending to Daphné that he was dating Timothée? And knowing Daphné she probably couldn't keep her mouth shut and made all sorts of allusions in front of Timothée who just had no clue at all? 😂 And I didn't notice Eliott's sweater but you're right, actually this show's been making fun of us and me specifically from the start 😅

(also yes, the windows weren't changed for two months while it was literally snowing during 304 🤦)

Now for me the biggest continuity issue in this episode is Morgane telling David she doesn't smoke while we saw her smoking in 301, I'll leave you with that 😅

Unfortunately, the product placement is far from over, and I must admit that it's particularly unsubtle and annoying this season 😠 but please tell me this didn't kill Céleane (Céline x tea 😆) aka my favorite ship from this show!!! 😱 And I didn't notice the trend but now that you're pointing it out, Morgane NEVER drinks out of these sponsored cups of coffee and only drinks from the anonymous cup during the breakfast scene, so... 👀

Are u still an Army? Were u ever dedicated kpop fan voting, streaming, buying every album, light stick, merch? I was army for a brief period in 2019 but then something happened and I couldn’t associate myself with the fandom anymore. Last song that I liked was Black swan... (what’s your favorite bts songs by the way?) I still closely follow Jimin and JK tho. I met army in real life and for some reason I said I knew about BTS but I wasn’t a huge fan lol but while talking with them I realized I knew about songs, comebacks, personalities of every BTS members more than them. I just think It will be easier for me to stan them individually than as a group. J-hope made interesting NY post on IG, he sounded like it’s the end of era (of bts?!) I mean, I guess in the technical sense I am an army. I have never felt comfortable calling myself that , tho 😅 I used to be a fan of one direction too but I didn't call myself a directioner either, as well with other people I was and am a fan of. I just say "I'm a fan of BTS". I love Taylor Swift, I've loved her since 2009 but I've never called myself a swiftie. I just don't think those names are necessary.

The first couple of years after I became a fan, 2017, 2018, yes I used to vote for everything all the time. After that I stopped a little but not entirely, I mean I have voted but not as much as I did in 2018. The fandom is so big, honestly... Even if everyone voted only once, they would win. Back in 2017 people were ten times more motivated because the fandom wasn't as big as it is now and they were just breaking in the US so we needed everyone's efforts. Nowadays, they're pretty stablished I think, and the fandom is so huge, literally ten times bigger than what it was in 2017. I mean, when I became a fan they had like 5 million followers on Twitter.

I don't buy anything tho. I have bought festa 2018 and bon voyage 2 & 3 to watch on vlive+, because the economy here wasn't as bad as it is now and it was an easy process to buy. I could afford merch and albums if I wanted to, but honestly I have more important things to spend money on. Those things are really expensive here in my country. I mean, the last season's greetings is worth like one month of rent for me?? It is incredibly expensive like that to buy things that are priced in dollars.

What happened that you couldn't associate anymore with the fandom? What do you think about Jimin and Jungkook?

Last song I liked was dynamite. I love it so much. I have watched every live performance at least 5 times each. Everything that came after dynamite was a disappointment for me, especially Butter and PTD. A few weeks ago I was talking here about 2021 content and I wanted to say that it was such an underwhelming year for BTS as artists and I didn't say it because I didn't want to be a bitch so I deleted that part. But a few days after in PTD LA Jimin said how they feel they could've done more and in his end of the year message in that bangtan bomb, he also said there weren't many memorable things this year. Thanks to him for keeping it real 🙏🙏 so now I feel I can say that it was disappointing because I know I wasn't imagining things. Namjoon too kinda hinted that it wasn't especial for him either.

If I had to choose one favorite song, it would be If I Ruled the World. Naming all the songs I like apart from that, it would be a really long list. But when I think BTS, I think If I Ruled the World. 

Do you mean it will be easier for you to stan Jimin and Jungkook individually or all of the members on their own? I personally LOVE when they release solo stuff, and I think Taehyung specificially is dying to like, be a proper solo artist (actor or singer), but I don’t really have a strong opinion on them “going solo”. The idea of disbandment actually scares me and makes me sad. But I would love it if they wanted to, or did their own things alongside BTS. That would be extemely time consuming, tho. 

Someone else has asked me about Hoseok’s instagram post (maybe it was you?) and since it was New Years and all I haven’t had time to read it again. I will say what I think after I’ve read it once more, if that’s okay with you. But I don’t remember anything suspicious about it. I think tho, that the end of an era for BTS already happened, and that was 2019. I think 2020 and MOTS7 was supposed to be the end for them (some kind of an end), but covid happened and they’re kinda just hanging in there until anything regarding enlistment and touring is decided, and frankly almost everything they do nowadays is out of their hands. It seems like covid and bighit/hybe are making all the choices and some of the decisions hybe is taking, are actually about branching out from BTS and about keeping distance between BTS and the fans. For business purposes.

I was a wreck on an emotional level by the time I got to Final Day''. Like. No ability to regulate my emotions, just ping-ponging all over the place it was A Mess. So there were a few moments when I hit the ceiling ^^;

I spent most of the part with Hazuki being spectacularly confused. Like. I'm sorry whomst the fuck are you? How is any of this even happening??? Why are you asking me how I feel about feelings that is a weird ass thing to say sir. And then he used Rindo's name even tho we never introduced ourselves and it was like I KNEW IT what ARE you?! And then Rindo broke my heart.

Unlike you, I was like 'alright let's do this thing. First can we PLEASE FINALLY ASSEMBLE THE DAMN SQUAD.' I spent literally the entire game being like 'give me my cross-plane united operation to overthrow this bitch' and may have cackled when I FINALLY got it. *chef's kiss* Everything I wanted. With bonus hacker!Rhyme who apparently can decode Minamimoto's nonsense which is somehow both surprising and not at the same time.

After everything, when Shoka was like 'I would actually rather die than keep playing the game' I was like 'alright where the hell is Joshua it is time to bend some stupid rules this is his turf and she DID BASICALLY WIN SO...' and then he just poofed her and I facepalmed so hard. Like. I was 99% sure she was fine, but he's just Like That so OF COURSE he has to be a troll about it. I felt kinda bad for laughing at Rindo's panic. And then the poor goober missed her friend requests for A MONTH. BRUH. Joshua's trolling should have lasted for like, an hour, tops, but no, Rindo is a dingus. I can't. I have this mental image of Josh going to check on them like two weeks later and being like 'what the fuck how has he not found her yet this kid is a disaster'.

The Haz scene was definitely weird in how he showed up out of nowhere. I really want to look up what Haz's original role was because I heard it was originally different 🤔

GOD!! the team assembling at different points working on different cogs in the machine was ugh 😩🙌 so fucking goooood

And Rhyme was fucking ooopppppp UGH!!!! Amazing, this game did her justice imo.

I KNOWWWW like, Rindo panicked and got depressed for fucking weeks when he didn't look at his INBOX (though actually.... maybe I relate 😬). I wasn't even 100% sure if Joshua even meant well until reading Mr. H's perspective from the reports LOL.
