#there was a last minute call off #probably wouldnt even have gotten a text if my cat didnt wale me up stupid early #well i was resting trying to decide #gave myself until 9 to get back to my boss #well 9 came and i was awake but unable to move #which ok ive had sleep paralysis before just need more rest #felt like someone was in the room with me #except i shut the door b/c cat bit me hard earlier so hes in time out #and bf shouldnt be getting home until way later #brain interpretted this as an intruder was in the room with me #felt like someone held my hands down and i started panicking #tried to call for help but couldnt #at first couldnt open my mouth then i felt like i was but i couldnt make sound #eyes were still shut btw #laid there panicking for like a minute or two thinking i was getting got #finally realized no one was there #made up my mind that i was NOT up for any overtime despite what my wallet might think #finally wake up enough to (politely) text my boss no #anyway im shook #hopefully i can get a few more hours of sleep in #and maybe ill get another call for overtime #i probably would go if either i had more notice #or it wasnt my sleeping day after my three twelve hour shifts #just bad timing #anyway

Finally got enough energy to talk about Furina's SQ and while I loved her and the troupe, MC and Paimon were .... Not Great. I talked about this with friends but in Paimon's case especially, the way they interact with Furina feels like people who just don't understand trauma and depression and then engage with someone suffering from both in all the wrong ways.

Talking about how much of a downgrade her house is from the opera house, making fun of how she can't cook, pushing her to act when she's set a very clear boundary and then guilt tripping her after she's stuck to her guns, shaming her for not being able to fight well (Paimon literally talks about how second hand embarrassment is overwhelming and I'm just like ?????), telling her she's "not acting like herself" when she attempts to open up and be vulnerable....it's just really rough. That and the MC asking "is something wrong" when Furina gets sad over Poission ..like bro people died and she couldn't save them and she's tearing herself apart over it. Those people are never coming back and you know it and you have the gall to ask her is something wrong??? Of COURSE there is!!

It just feels especially odd because we literally get to see all of Furina's suffering and Paimon in particular is. SO mean? Like she was more understanding with Wanderer and Ei and THEY'VE tried to kill us multiple times!! I don't get it, and honestly I'm very proud of Furina for refusing to waver. Let her rest!! She's tired and depressed and she needs time to heal; and honestly fuck Paimon for trying to make her feel bad. Furina's worked harder than she EVER will.

#wondering how &/or why i made this? well because i needed to keep myself awake today and also wanted to practice using the sketchbook app on #my phone. as for how: i actually traced the original sprite #then colored in the hair by hand. in the middle of that though the quality suddenly got annihilated and i hadn't saved in a while #so i just decided screw it. i finished the pink highlights by hand then used the color picker/paint bucket tools to fill in the rest of the #coloring (which i was originally planning to do also by hand). then i opened a new sketch & drew the symbol on his shirt and layered that #on top (idk why but i thought that would be easier than trying to trace it and i...think i was right? either way i like how it turned out!) #then i just cleaned it up a bit- retraced some of the lines and such. and *then* right before i went to finally post it i realized i forgot #the red squares on the right side of his jacket. so i just spent the last hour or so adding those #i was also gonna add a bit of shading too but i'm fucking burnt out at this point so screw that lmao #honestly it doesn't really matter i'm very VERY happy with how this turned out :) #nagito komaeda #danganronpa #sdr2 #🖌 tag #🍄 tag #send tweet

I tend to keep all of that bonkers med school momentum whenever I get genuine breaks (like the full month I just had of extremely chill classes), and inevitably go insane writing fanfiction instead because I have to put the energy somewhere.

big boy hours continue

#yesterday i was soooo brave #bc in p.e. (technically self defense class bc thats what i chose) we had to spend a solid few minutes running at the start #like in a circle as warm-up #and i fucking died. i have marfan syndrome (which affects the heart even if you dont have the severe heart variant) AND anemia i cant fuckin #g run #i cant do fucking stamina-based shit i loose feeling invmy legs and get black spots imnediately #so after that i had to sit on the mat for a few mins and do my best not to pass out💀 #and i was absolute shit for the rest of the class bc i was exhausted and dizzy #so i decided to be a big boy and after class went to the trainer (who im a bit scared off) to ask if if i have a genetic illness that me- #*makes me #-have no stamina then can i just. not run please. or do i have to change my p.e. class (please no) #and it went very well! i dont have to change classes and im allowed to just do my own warm ups while theyre running #i was so scared of trying to ask for that😭 #im unreasonably happy with myself for doing what technically is a normal adult thing but. shh #ramble #personal
