Weeeellll, I'm thinking there may be some truth to this, but when they say last Thursday, they don't mean January 19, they mean January 12. Remember, this pic hound who posted a pic with Sam on Thursday, January 12 in NYC? 👇

Well, I asked someone I know who lives in Manhattan if she could tell from the pic where they were. And she said this.

Soooo, the Deuxmoi posting said Sam was in the West Village "last Thursday," and the pic hound took a pic with Sam on Thursday, January 12. And my friend on January 13, said "that looks like the West Village."

I know the pic hound said Sam was alone, but they usually say that because they want to keep getting pics with celebs. If the celeb knows they're giving info away, they may not want to take more pics with them.

Soooo, now WHO is this new mystery "gorgeous blonde?" For those in my DMs hanging on to #samrina...her hair was dark at her sister's wedding, so unless she had a major dye job, this is not her.

But who is it? 🤔

I’ve been telling everyone for months that 5:30pm is the new 8:00pm when it comes to dinner reservations in New York and felt vindicated last week when an article backed me up. Although they said 6:00pm is the new 8:00pm but close enough. We split the difference and settled on 7pm dinner tonight at @waverlyinn. I told @andrewbrownid that I hadn’t been there in years and the woman at the table behind us said the same thing when she sat down. But I also feel like the classics are making a comeback especially the ones that have a cozy vibe for fall and winter. I love living uptown but even I have to admit that the West Village has the best restaurants. Millay Colony

Back in the summer of 2001, I spent some time at the Millay Colony for the Arts, in Austerlitz, New York. It lies on property formerly owned by the famed poet, Edna St. Vincent Millay.

The photographs here represent something I was working on at the time, which would be called “Koans”. I had been taken with meta-photography for some time, and it would continue for another eight years or so.

Interesting: the poet’s middle name comes from the hospital in the West Village of New York. Something to do with her uncle having his life saved there near the time of her birth.
