Note: So this is an idea I had for a while but I just know I wouldn't get to do it full length for chapters but I hope it's fun.

You watch the green landscape pass outside the window. The tow truck rattles, almost to a concerning degree, as it chuffs down the winding country road. The driver, a man who calls himself Vol, sings along loudly to the radio as you make yourself small in the passenger seat.

This isn’t how you saw your road trip going. You don’t understand why something always has to go wrong. Even with your utmost efforts, there’s always some hitch.

You go over it all in your head. An oil change, standard check-up, some adjustments. All that on a nearly new model and you still ended up stranded. A flat tire but you don’t have a spare. The man promises one back at his shop. 

Whatever it costs, you don’t care. You’re annoyed at the time spent on this ridiculous mishap. It does seem to occur often that each time you attempt to do something for yourself, that there must be some disaster. It’s why you haven’t tried anything of the sort in years.

You look in the mirror and see the edge of your car strapped to the bed of the truck. You should’ve done the train. The view along the cross country rail is allegedly quite resplendent but you didn’t like the idea of having to abide by a schedule not your own. Once again, your stubbornness nips you in the rear.

The man slaps the steering wheel along to the beat of the music. You don’t mind the song, it’s considered a classic of the genre, but does it need to be so loud? You cross your arms and huff, the noise of your displeasure drowned out by the crackling speakers.

Country houses stand on hills and fields sprawl with freshly sowed fields. You try to imagine a life here, away from the bustling furor of the city. That thought makes your chest want to collapse. You couldn’t do it. You are urban to the core.

As you come to the heart of the village, the houses are placed closer but not clustered. Only along the sparse row of their ‘downtown’ do buildings dare to touch. It’s after five and the shops are all closed for the day.

“Garage is just behind Mary’s place,” the man turns down the radio, “we’ll get a better look at the damage.” He assures you, peeking at you in the rear view, “these old country roads aren’t meant for speeding.”

“I wasn’t…” you cut yourself off. You won’t argue. You just want a new tire, “right, thank you.”

He chuckles, nonplussed by your curtness. He steers around another long bend in the road. Why must everything be so tedious and slow? He shuttles up to a bright red structure that resembles a barn. Across the moniker, hand painted nonetheless, is the name Volstagg’s. He flips the stick to park and kills the engine.

“Here,” he proclaims, pausing as his eyes pinpoint through the windshield, “ah, of course.”

He clicks his seat belt and lets it repel. He swings open the door so violently it shakes the entire vehicle. You furrow your brow as he hops down and hollers. What on earth is he doing?

“...working. What d’you want?” Is all you catch through his chortling grit.

“Good to see you too, friend,” another voice counters, even deeper and smooth like silk. Great, another of the village folk.

You undo your seat belt and check your reflection in the side mirror. You open the door and plant your heel on the little metal step below the door. You let yourself down but stumble at the still jarring height of the truck cabin. You cling to the door as you gain your balance.

You shut it with a creak and a clang. Your soles mulch in the dusty gravel as you follow the voices. You clear your throat, facing the men chattering on the other side of the truck. You bring your hands to your hips in a show of your irritation.

“Hullo,” you sneer, “my tire, sir.”

The bearded redhead, Vol, and his companion, a blond even taller and blonder, look over at you with curious expressions. Their faces tint from surprised to amused. You want to roll your eyes. Your stature rarely affords you dignity.

“Yes, ma’am,” the redhead shows his large palm apologetically, “forgive me,” he faces the other man, “as you see, I have work to do.”

“So I see,” the other man drawls, his gaze stuck on you, “you are visiting Hammer Ford?” 

You curl your lip, “never. Passing through,” you turn and stride away, towards the front of the building as Vol gets back in his truck. 

The blond jogs in front of the high bumper, waving at the driver, as he crosses over to you. You keep your back to him as you strut up the edge of the dirt lot. You try to ignore him as you watch the mechanic angle around to bring your car along the front of the garage, steering the bed towards the doors.

“Passing through. On your way to…?”

“None of your concern,” you sniff, “I only need a new tire and I’ll be gone.”

“Ah, that’s too bad. This is a lovely village. Quaint. You might like it here,” he muses, “a woman like yourself, you might find it novel.”

“A woman like me?” You challenge, facing him at last, well, facing his torso. You look up, “how am I like, sir?”

“Well, from the city presumably,” he tosses back as if mocking your tone, “city folk tend to endear themselves to the quiet here.”

“Mmm,” you accept with a purse of your lips, “I’ll be off as soon as my tire is fixed. I have more important places to be.”

“Fair,” he shrugs, “you do seem rather… important.” He emphasizes the last word, echoing your own statement. You squint and turn away again. You’ll be gone soon enough.

“Vol,” he spins with a holler, bounding off to bother the other man as he works at placing the loading ramps against the truck bed, “before I go…”

His voice trails off as he claps the other man’s shoulder, his volume dropping notably. You slowly drag your heels towards them, receiving another glimpse from the blond’s sea blue eyes. He smirks before he releases his comrade from his bearlike grasp.

“Good day, lady,” he bows his head in exaggerated gallantry, “not to worry, Volstagg always takes special care of the pretty ones.”

Ginza no Koi no Monogatari

The song that Seishirou and Hokuto are pouring their very souls into to perform in the beginning of the chapter. Released in 1961, this a smoky, jazzy duet typical of its time, telling the story of two star-crossed lovers, one in Tokyo and one in Ginza. It was an immediate hit, even having a movie based upon it made, starring Ishihara-san in the lead role. It's a staple duet in karaoke even to this day.

泣かないで - "Don't Cry" 舘ひろし - Tachi Hiroshi mp3 download || youtube

The song that the random selector spits up for Subaru to sing, which Sei-chan subsequently picks up after sending him off to buy cigarettes/exorcise the OL. This was released in 1984, by Tachi Hiroshi, a singer and actor who became quite the sensation when he had a starring role in 西部警察 (Seibu Keisatsu; "Western Police") -- incidentally, directed by the abovementioned Ishihara-san, as you'd have it. "Nakanaide" was a hit, coming in 59th on the ORICON's 1984 top singles list. It's from his seventh album In the Mood.

The song that the OL ghost sings. A dark and heartfelt song about a dying love, it was a massive hit when it was released in 1987, shooting straight to the top of the ORICON charts (as Nakamori-san's 17th number one hit), and has been a karaoke regular since then, just as the OL says in the chapter. Originally written and performed by the very respected Kato Tokiko for her 最後のダンスパーティ (Saigo no Dance Party; "Last Dance Party") album of 1984; she personally requested that Nakamori-san perform the song. It's been covered countless times, including by the original singer/songwriter and the cover artist themselves.

抱いて… - "Hold Me..." 松田聖子 - Matsuda Seiko mp3 download || youtube

Not actually sung, but the OL ghost suggests she'd like to sing it next. A dramatic and emotional slice of idol pop from the Eternal Idol herself, Matsuda Seiko (who also performs "Who's That Boy", found on Single White). Released in 1987 as a promo-only single from her fifteenth studio album, 1988's Citron. Despite never being released as an official single, it's one of Matsuda's more popular songs, especially karaoke-wise. It's rather interesting that the OL picks a Matsuda song directly after a Nakamori Akina track -- the pair were notorious rivals in the 80s, supposedly even in love.

勉强の歌 - "Study Song" 森高千里 - Moritaka Chisato mp3 download || youtube

The song Hokuto is singing when Subaru attempts to sneak back into the karaoke box. Released in 1991, it peaked at #4 on the ORICON charts, and was remixed on Moritaka's second remix album as ザ・勉強の歌 (Za・Benkyo no Uta; "The・Study Song"). It was used as the opening theme to the anime TV series "Mischievous Twins: The Tales of St. Clare's". It's a totally gimmicky song (complete with voguing in the very weird video clip), though cheerful and catchy, so its popularity on the karaoke circuit at the time shouldn't surprise anyone. (You just know that Hokuto unironically adored this song, and drove Subaru batty by singing it at every opportunity.)

別れても好きな人 - "Beloved Even if We're Separated" ロス・インディオス＆シルヴィア - Los Indios & Silvia mp3 download || youtube

The song that Hokuto announces Subaru should sing with Seishirou as punishment for being late. Another staple in the duets section of karaoke, still, this 1979 release was actually a cover. The song was released by two Toshiba EMI artists, Matsudaira Kemeko and the Purple Shadows, respectively, in 1969. In October 1975, Los Indios released a single-voice version, and in 1979 it was rearranged as a male and female duet, with some lyrics changed slightly. The song was an instant hit, and by 1980, it had sold a million copies.

What GOTG Vol 3 reveals about MCU Rocket that we didn't already know

He is depressed and he knows he has 'emotionalistic issues' that prevents him from being able to help Star-Lord

Regardless he is worried about Peter.

After 7 years of friendship, Star-Lord keeps calling him a raccoon even though he knows Rocket hates it. (12 years total, -5 of the blip)

He did modifications for Nebula including creating her new versatile cybernetic prosthetic arm, and likely work on her facial implants

His wasn't built for anything other than to be learned from for science never being intended for any greater purpose

Rocket had a kill switch installed in him during his creation to protect his creators research

He can drink from a straw?

He eats grilled orloni meat

His first word was 'Hurts!' said while trembling

He was fed a false narrative he'd have a life worth his torture and obedience and that his docile nature was desirable and he was full of hope for it

He loved the other experiments he was caged with wholeheartedly and without a shred of callousness

He writes with his right hand (and in a language that goes right to left?)

He wanted to fly, this is something that is pure to him and him alone. The sky called him on a personal level.

He never intended to become violent. This happened after he got to his breaking point in losing his friend Lylla which immediate pushed him into his violent nature resulting in his first assaults and murders

Rocket's creation was physically painful and he was operated on while conscious and likely without anesthesia. Nebula says it was worse than what Thanos did to him and while we don't see the 'footage' it appears to be hard to watch from the characters who view it

Rocket's nature to steal was something he started doing out of impulse

Rocket is incredibly smart beyond what most people assumed, while some of his knowledge was rote memorization he also has a unique capability of inventiveness that was accidental, making him one of the most advanced intelligent characters in the MCU

Rocket use to not speak very well, he's add s's to the ends of words or just pair one or two words together 'What sounds?', 'We like it?'

Rocket escaped because if he didn't they were going to remove his brain (for science!)

The raccoons that Rocket was among came from North America, Earth which makes him Terran

Rocket wasn't introduced to music from Peter. He liked it since he was little (which was likely why he use to hum to himself whenever he worked at putting things together in vol 1 and listened to music while he worked in vol 2)

Rocket does sing and know words to songs (we saw a glimpse of it in the Southern Nights scene in vol 2 but we see more of it solidifying he does it often)

Rocket has his own apartment, he steals Peter's zune so frequently he even has his own dock for it (and also seems to take care of it when it's in his possession)

Rockets apartment is literally right next to Peter's

Rocket's bed is just a damaged door and a thin blanket, confirmed by Gunn that it is because sleeping on metal is what he was accustomed to

Rocket has a plant in his apartment; not important but he's a plant dad to more than just Groot

Rocket is a dancer (at least at the end of the movie)

He immediately appears to panic hearing the voice of his creator showing he has some ptsd from it (very valid)

He didn't deny being a Raccoon out of self denial or wanting to be seen for 'what' he is now, it was just a misunderstanding that he thought it was akin to a slur or something because of how he was introduced to the word (as an insult) and he embraces the name after realizing it for himself now no longer wondering if he's a rabbit or a Build-a-Bear.

Rocket was able to escape when he was basically, mentally a teenager

Rockets body was covered in braces while his body covered from the operations he underwent on his hands, legs and chest and didn't get clothes until after he escaped

Rocket has his subject number tattooed on his chest

Rocket is multi-lingual in at least English and whatever language the Star Children speak Orbose and this may likely not be just due to a translator implant like most cosmic marvel characters

Rocket has been carrying a physical reminder of his failure to his friends his entire life (the key to the cages of the lab he created from scraps he stole over his time there)

He never elaborates on his past to his friends about his origins. 'He won't talk about it'.

End of movie we see that Rocket likes discussing music (and confirms thinking Brittany Spears and Korn are good favorites)

After watching Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3, I've had a long and hard think about how Peter and Rocket's relationship was portrayed in the film and I think there is clear homoerotic subtext between them. For clarification, homoerotic subtext is when a close friendship between the same sex is portrayed similarly to a romantic one. Here is the instances it was implied throughout the gotg trilogy.

*Spoilers for Guardians of The Galaxy will follow*

When Rocket's life hung on the balance, Peter went to great lengths to save him. Throughout the film, he refers to Rocket as his "best friend". He blames himself for Rocket's injuries as he was drunk at the time and couldn't stop him from getting hurt. When Rocket laid flatlining on the bed and was near death, Peter didn't give up on him. He had hope that he would get out of this alive. He wasn't going to lose another friend. Peter had a heartbreaking, visceral reaction to watching Rocket die before him. He needs Rocket more than anything. He is the one that holds him together even in his darkest moments.

When Rocket comes back from the afterlife, alive and well, Peter hugs him tightly along with Groot, showing how much he cares about him.

"I'm not letting him go"

Peter and Rocket share the same interests in music. They both share ownership of the zune. Rocket can be heard singing along to the music like Radiohead's Creep in the vol.3's prologue. He has formed a special connection to music the same way Quill has had. The connection is utilised when Quill nearly sacrifices his life to get the zune back for Rocket. "I got this back for you" is a very powerful message. Music is the thing that brings them together and makes their bond stronger. His love for Rocket made him get the zune back. It was all in the name of love.

When Peter is away, Rocket would listen to his music as a way of remembering him and to feel that his presence is always with him. Rocket may love to make fun of Quill, but he is everything to him.

Peter and Rocket would argue about who was captain and bicker and throw insults at one another constantly. It was what made up most of the tension between them. They are like a couple arguing, with unresolved sexual tension they choose not to deal with.

Peter has lost so much in his life that he has become a shell of a man. Rocket is scared of losing people and desires to push people away. He blames himself for losing his friends all those years ago and can't bear to lose another. He is scared of disappointing them. They both understand these flaws and help each other work through it.

When the Guardians were in the Kyln Prison in Vol 1, Rocket wasn't afraid to defend Quill from those who desired to kill him. He was his bounty and if they wanted to get through to him, they had to go through him and Groot.

In Avengers Endgame, Rocket wore Star Lord's scarf as a mark of remembrance after his captain was dusted.

Rocket comes to pull Peter out of his drunken state. In that dark period of his life, when he was mourning Gamora in a unhealthy way, Rocket was the only one that was there for him. He took him out of that dark place and was there for him every step of the way.

Peter appoints Rocket captain and leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy at the end of Vol. 3 because he sees so much of himself in him. He has so much respect and honour for the raccoon after everything that he went through, that he needs someone who can protect those who can't fight for themselves. Those who were once in Rocket's position.

In the mid-credits scene, when Rocket and the new Guardians talk about their music tastes, Rocket introduces the team to the song "Come and Get Your Love" by Redbone, a song that holds a special place in his heart because it was Peter's favourite song. The way he talks about the song prior to playing it is quite melancholic because it reminds him of Peter. Now that he's gone, he misses him with all his heart.

My personal headcanon is that Rocket had feelings for Peter, but was too angry and stuck in his ways to admit it. When he was drunk, It hurt Rocket to see Peter in such a dark and depressing state. When Rocket gets hurt, it spurs Peter into action and it makes him realise how much he cares about the raccoon.

Olivia

Harry wrote Olivia for One Direction's Made on the AM which was written and recorded between March - September 2015. Several months after 1989 was completed. Taylor has said she played 1989 for Harry and it's highly likely he was also aware of the Vault Tracks.

From Rolling Stone:

Bunetta and Ryan cite “Olivia” as a defining track, one that captures just how far One Direction had come as songwriters: They’d written it in 45 minutes, after wasting a whole day trying to write something far worse. “When you start as a songwriter, you write a bunch of shitty songs, you get better and you keep getting better,” Ryan says. “But then you can get finicky, and you’re like, ‘Maybe I have to get smart with this lyric.’ By Made in the A.M. … they were coming into their own in the sense of picking up a guitar, messing around, and feeling something, rather than being like, ‘How do I put this puzzle together?’”

Harry also said Olivia 'fell out' when they were trying to write something else to GMA and avoided answering what he was trying to write which may have been Perfect as it took a long time.

Who is Olivia?

Harry famously answered this "Is Olivia even a person? Is Olivia an emotion? Is she a place? We don't know" Oliva sounds like 'I love ya'

Harry later referenced Olivia in the leaked Ophelia (I feel ya). Harry wrote Ophelia, in Tokyo when she was there for the last Reputation show in November 2018, he also wrote Little Freak at the same time. Ophelia and Olivia are Taylor Swift.

Taylor also has a cat Olivia Bensen, adopted June 2014, Harry can be heard laughing in her adoption video.

As Harry and Taylor were dating again through the production, and she has said she played it for him it is likely he knew the lyrics "Make me love you (Make me love you)? / I said, "I love you" (I said, "I love you")/ You say nothing back"

In the previous game, polygon characters were superimposed on the background of the movie, but this time the background is also full polygon! This makes the camera work and directing really fun. The leader of a Dancing Troupe(Rhythm Rouges) that dances in the shadows. He's always a silhouette when he appears, and no one knows who he really is. He seems to be plotting something by making the people of the world dance.

SHADOW

Action captain of the Dancing Troupe(Rhythm Rouges) . He takes care of the robots and takes the people who made them dance away on a transport boat. His trademark is a red muffler that stays on regardless of gravity.

RESOURCES FOR ARTISTS VOL 1

In the spirit of gratitude for the plethora of free resources out there for artists that I've been gleefully ransacking my entire life, I want to share some of them that I've compiled.

smithsonian open access: this is a HUGE one! lots of images that are absolutely free to use, as well as an incredible set of 3-D resources. Their collection spans the same breadth that their multiple museums do-- natural history, gems, fine art, aerospace/engineering stuff, etc. so do not sleep on this.

2. The League of Moveable Type is a resource for free fonts, but not just any free fonts-- professionally designed free fonts. Some of the bigger sites can be a lot of wading through sub par stuff, but every single thing here was very carefully and lovingly designed, and is free.

3. Unsplash is full of great free to use images. Seriously, huge collection. Portraits, textures, 3-D renderings, you name it and it's probably here and free to use. ALSO cool because images will note whether their creator is for hire if you like their work. You can also submit your images to this platform. (I think it has a premium section but I haven't needed to engage with it yet)

4. rawpixel's Public Domain collection. They've been high quality scanning public domain images for a while. They're free to use under a CC0 license, which is basically without restriction. They've got lots of categories, I personally love the Graphic Design and the Vintage Illustration sections.

5. Photopea is a free Photoshop alternative that runs in your browser. It's got a few quirks(especially if you run a non-chromium browser, but stay strong anyway) and is ad-supported, but really powerful and robust. It also opens PSD files, supports smart objects and basically all of the Photoshop asset filetypes(.abr .grad .pat etc), as well as has filters, even a couple that Photoshop itself has gotten rid of in their more recent versions. You can use the fonts on your machine, export transparent pngs, and do generally anything that the big guy does. You can also donate a small amount to remove ads and support the singe person(!) who created and maintains it.

6. Brusheezy.com is a great place to get free brushes, vectors, and photoshop assets in general(which can all be used in Photopea, btw).

7. dafont.com Last but not least, I will include this huge font site but assume most people already have it on their radar. Free fonts! No account needed to download! Tons of categories! Many are demo/limited versions, so pay attention especially if you plan to use numbers or special characters as those are often the things left out of the free to use demo versions. It's nice to have a lot of options but to the discerning eye a decent amount of the fully free fonts here will fall a bit short/feel unpolished. That's not to discourage you from it, as I have a huge collection of types from here and routinely check it when I need something specific.

Neuron MV

Hope on the Street Vol. 1 is out now. Listening to the album, I am struck once again about how meticulous J-Hope is with his projects and how unique he is as an artist. He always has a clear vision of what he is trying to achieve and that is reinforced and reiterated in every aspect of the release. Just look at the titles for the documentary and you'll see how that urban, graffiti, street aesthetic is also reflected in the Neuron MV.

And that is before you come to the music itself. J-Hope has a clear and unmistakable voice and here I am talking about both his rapping and singing and his thematic choices. His lyrics tell you all you need to know.

Together but separate, connecting, impacting, merging, the many faces of the city, neurons tingling, images chasing through the mind.

Hello!! Did you happen to know if Onew’s Who Sings EP is what he was going to be releasing in Japan or is this something else entirely?

it's a digital prelease to his Japanese album that is titled 'Life Goes On" and will feature 4 cover songs: Sparkling (Wasumasa Oda), Scales (Hin Kihiro), Everything (MISIA), and DREAMS COME TRUE (Wednesday), 5/18 (Wednesday) Sparkling (Wednesday) and 5/25 (Scales) Scales will be pre-distributed! In commemoration of the release. These will also all be included in the "Life Goes on" album as a bonus CD.

They had no men's one-piece bathing suits, having that belly of his he was self-conscious. You reassured him he was fine and sexy making the Cardinal's face and ears pink. No matter how many times you tried to convince him he stuck to his guns about wearing a tank top with his shorts.

You parted ways going to the assigned changing room to change into your bathing suits, Yours held an ocean sunset with so many reds, pinks, and purples the silhouettes of beachgoers and a few dogs also decorated it. Giving yourself a little fashion show in the mirror you headed out to the pool, Copia was already standing waiting for you in his matching shorts and black tank top his Cardinal paint removed, he was so damn adorable. Taking his hand you both stepped into the water, while walking into the deeper end Copia slipped on the tiles below falling back into the water with a rather high-pitched 'Merda!'.

You laughed as he stood back up Copia's salt and peppery hair sticking to his face a smirk coming to his lips as he lowered himself into the water, your head tilted in question until he started coming at you singing the Jaws theme.

"Duunnn dunnn… duuuunnnn duun…". You stare at him giggling backing up. "Uh oh oh no." "Better swim dolcezza!." The Cardinal laughed watching as you faked trying to get away. "Oooo nooo oh help." You spoke trying not to laugh as the floor of the pool was vanishing from below your feet, Copia behind you closing in. "Duuunnnnnnnn dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dunnnnnnnnnnn dunnnn!." He reached out and tugged you back to him his arms wrapping around you as you squeak in surprise.

"Oh no he's got me!." You gave a fake gasp of horror as you let yourself sink below the water before popping right back up laughing and pushing your hair out of your face, Copia's forehead rested against your own. You both stayed like that for a good few minutes slowly swirling in the water before parting, the Cardinal lying in the water floating on his back. "The Abbey needs to get a pool." He muttered feeling weightless. "You know Copia that's not a bad idea, a lot of therapy places have pools, it could probably help Nihil and his old bones." For a moment Copia thought it over knowing full well the old man would probably try and wear the smallest male bathing suit, he had already had the misfortune of seeing Terzo in his own while on a beach trip years ago. "On second thoughts eh.. no let us not get a pool." You rolled your eyes as you swam over to him you both enjoyed the pool swimming and messing around though when the chill of the water sank into your bones you switched to the hot tub.

There was a sigh in unison as the warm water engulfed both of your bodies eyes closing as you focused on the feeling of the jets against you. "Dolcissimo Lucifero." Copia sighed laying his head back the man needed this, scooching over and sitting next to him laying your head on his shoulder a smile crossed your lips as you felt his wet arm lift and wrap around your shoulders. You weren't sure why… but the thing Axel had said to you the other day popped into your head ' likes more than just the packaging' You thought about asking him but… why ruin such a lovely moment? Ignoring it you kept your head there as you let the jets massage your back with a sigh.

It was probably an hour before you both got out of the hot tub your skin starting to wrinkle, you spent the rest of the night in each other's arms enjoying the silent peace both knowing full well that once you got back to the Abbey peace was something that would only be a fleeting dream. Both you and Copia took a deep breath in and let it out slowly as you arrived in front of the Satanic Cathedral, hand in hand you both walked up the steps Copia opened the door for you allowing you to enter first then himself, as always it was quiet though someone must have seen you both enter as Sister Imperator came around the hall walking rather quickly in her red heels, you still had no idea how the old woman had not broken an ankle yet. "Where in the sweet name of Satan have you two been?!, you had me worried sick!." She scolded as Copia tried to answer several times but each time she cut him off. "Come on Cardi, we've got so much that needs to get done." Copia spluttered out several quiet nonsensical noises as Sister Imperator pulled him along which pulled his hand from yours leaving you there in the front lobby of the Abbey, watching as he looked back at you, you swore you caught the words 'surgery' and ' two for one ' you shook your head heading back to your dorm room.

While walking to your room you jumped at the sound of Secondo's voice, it took you a good second or two to realize that it was coming from the mass hall with his little study group. Peeking through the door window you watched as he directed and spoke you were shocked not to see Sister Leiah but Sister Emilia assisting him. You could see the red on her cheeks her eyes glued to Secondo as he spoke. "Perhaps I made the right call."

You muttered to yourself you knew in your heart that you had watched Secondo and Emilia interact and how they practically worked like a well-oiled machine together, you swore you even saw a smile on his face perhaps something was sparking between those two, you couldn't be mad at him even if him moving on that quick stung a little, you did figuratively rip the poor man's heart out. Moving away from the door you continued on your way looking forward to relaxing your lower back still hurt from your… nightly activities with the Cardinal however there was one stop you wanted to make. Turning down the East wing hall you headed to the Prime Mover's Den, a lavish room that was barely used Primo, Secondo, and Terzo's mother or mothers used it and now Gemma was using it, knocking on the door lightly you entered.

"Sister?." You asked seeing the woman look up her tea cup settled on the saucer with a gasp of your name as the older woman stood as quickly as she could, walking over to you looking as elegant as ever in her Prime Mover robe of black and red. "There you are! are you okay? not hurt? Have you eaten? where in the seven hells have you been?!." Her hand cupped your face and checked you over she was definitely in 'mom' mode. "You scared us." She spoke hugging you which always caught you off guard not many showed their emotions so openly and easily in the Ministry, you supposed that was one of the reasons Primo fell for her, the other currently squished against your face. "Gem…Can't…breath…titty.." You managed before she pulled back quickly. "Sorry, these blasted things always get in the way even more so than ever." "I bet Papa Primo likes it." you chuckled "Don't even get me started with that man, he's behaving like a horny teenager just the other night he had my damn legs up by-" "Gem!, Gem please no, I don't want that mental image." "Mi dispiace" Sister Gemma apologized patting your shoulders. "How is Papa Primo by the way?." "Sore dear, sore." Gemma chuckled. After a good hour of chatting and cookie munching you headed back to your dorm room, well your shared dorm room with Copia as soon as the door opened you heard three enthusiastic squeaks from Biscotti, Rigatoni, and Marmalade. "Hey, babies." You cooed as you walked closer it was only then that you noticed the little pink nuggets under Marmalade. She'd given birth! "Baby girl!!, I'm so proud of you!." You exclaimed looking down at the wiggling little creatures, you and Copia would have to come up with names for them- and what to do with them knowing full well you couldn't keep them all in one cage forever but for now, they were fine.

Heading to the bedroom you paused looking around the room you couldn't shake the feeling that something was… off.. some things seemed moved or perhaps it was just you. With a yawn, you blinked twice before falling into a light sleep. You were slowly stirred awake by the sounds of voices, screaming voices it took you a moment to realize that those voices belonged to Copia and Terzo, getting up quickly you ran to the seating area where they were. The two were so angry that Common talk was out the window as they argued in Italian, words you didn't know or couldn't understand. Rushing into the room you see them in the middle of the argument Terzo yelling and jabbing his index finger into Copia's chest.

You've never seen Copia snap before, he'd always been so docile and quiet so when he shoved Terzo back rather harshly it shocked you a little his white eye almost seeming to glow. Copia shouted back something about the Papacy as Terzo's face twisted into a look of utter betrayal before the arguing continued. You had to step in as things started getting out of hand. "Guys, guys!." You spoke as loud as you could over the yelling, growing increasingly annoyed when neither of them looked at or noticed you.

"LOOK YOU MOTHER FUCKERS I DON'T SPEAK PAPA FUCKING JOHNS!!." You shouted as loud as you could making them both stop and look equally offended at you, Terzo more so than Copia as the two silenced. "Now what in Satan's taint is going on with you two?." You asked arms crossed.

"This rat bastard has gone behind my back and talked to the rest of the Clergy about being the next Papa." Terzo snapped pointing at the Cardinal. "Well, Terzo with all due respect he would be the next in line?." Terzo spat a curse. "He shouldn't even exist!." "TERZO EMERITUS THAT IS ENOUGH!." You yelled your hands on your hips. "How dare you say that-."

"Oh, so he has never told you, eh?." Copia was glaring at Terzo. "Don't." He spoke however the Emeritus only smirked. "Copia just appeared one day on the steps of the Ministry, with a note telling our father that it was his baby because of the eye and to take care of him so naturally Nihil dumped him on Primo." Terzo narrowed his eyes as Copia looked down at the floor his own mismatched eyes gaining a shine to them. "He was not conceived upon the altar bed like the rest of us."

Oh Lucifer give me strength.. you thought staring at Terzo he went to continue but as luck would have it Mountain opened the door. "What is going on in here? I heard arguing." the ghoul's voice boomed. "Nothing, Terzo was just leaving." The tone of your voice was all Mountain needed as he placed his clawed hands on Terzo's shoulders tugging him out of the room, once the door shut your attention grew soft as you turned to Copia who had taken a seat on his couch staring straight ahead at nothing in particular, a silent panic attack. Frowning you sat down on the couch beside him your arms wrapping around the man and breaking him out of it. "Sorella I…." His voice cracked as all the emotions hit the man at once anger, sadness, memories. "I….I.."

"Shhh, it's okay Copia." You whispered pulling him close so his head rested on your shoulder, you could tell he was holding back as your hand rubbed down along his back. "It's okay hun you can let it out." You whispered a kiss being placed against his neck before you heard a strangled sob pass the man's lips his shoulders shaking as he let it out, not just tonight but years of pain, sadness, and anger your shoulder being soaked with hot tears as you rubbed his back. "Shhhhh it's okay I got you Copia." You whispered as you hugged him tighter your body swaying the two of you slowly, the next moment you were able to get alone with Terzo you were going to wring his neck until his eyeballs popped out.

"Come on, let's go lay down." You whispered standing from the couch and walking him to the bedroom, Copia stayed nestled against you all night his head resting against your chest while his arms wrapped around your waist, while your fingers gently brushed through his hair. "He wasn't lying… I did ask about the Papacy." Copia admited. "Well you are the next in line, Copia so I'm not surprised besides I think you would make one hell of a good Papa." You encouraged making his head tilt back quickly to look at you. "You… eh… you think so dolcezza?". "I don't think so caro, I know so." Copia's face and ears went a soft pink at both your encouraging words and the term of endearment you had used. "Bella… we… we are together sì, yes?." you saw his face grow darker in color the pink turning to a soft red his eyes adverting from yours, as if waiting for the classic response the 'Ew no' two words he heard more times than 'sì or yes' as he braced for rejection you giggled which made his attention shift to you quickly.

"Of course we are." "Ahh… I…I..I- what I mean is ehh.. b-boyfriend and girlfriend?." The man was too cute sometimes, he sounded like some lovestruck teen with their first lover.

"Sì, we are bello." Copia's eyes grew as round as the dining hall dinner plates as he stared at you. "M-Mamma mia dolcezza-." His voice shook with emotion making you giggle and close the space between you a soft loving kiss pressed to the Cardinal's lips. His pain seemed to vanish though his hold on you remained strong as you remained in each other's arms for the rest of the night.
