“No,” Karl’s laugh against the nape of his neck was a shiver that went straight to his groin, “that you want more.”

Resident evil au time!

Re8 dlc au where Rose goes into the Megamycete and Ethan convinces her not to find the crystal, so Miranda traps Ethan in a deep layer. She follows after but is completely lost and out of her depths and comes across Heisenberg, who is also stuck in a deep layer and wants Rose to get him out. Rose explains what happened, and Heisenberg tells Rose what probably happened to Ethan and how they can save him. In exchange for Rose helping him, of course.

Heisenberg: “I know Miranda. She doesn’t want you to be powerful. She doesn’t want you to embrace your abilities. That way, she can use you for whatever the hell she has planned. You’re gonna have to give in a little to the Megamycete if you want to beat her and make it out of here alive, let alone save your Papa.”

Rose: “Is it safe?”

Heisenberg: “Doesn’t matter how safe it is if it’s the only option, does it?”

So Rose leans into the more Megamycete side of her powers which are more corrupting and dangerous, getting herself and Karl closer to where Ethan is. Heisenberg honestly thinks he’s helping her by making her stronger, since that’s what helped him survive. She dresses as a Rose Copy to blend in more and finds that she can’t control her abilities very well, which is something she’s always been afraid of. She ends up injuring Heisenberg during a fight with some monsters, but Heisenberg sympathizes since he remembers also having to learn to control his powers which he didn’t want. Eventually they find Ethan, and to save him, Rose ends up losing control of her powers, mindlessly attacking Miranda. Her powers break through the realm into the deepest layer where Ethan and Karl can’t follow. Ethan’s weak but recognizes Karl, who tells him what happened, creating a Very Pissed Dad.

Heisenberg: “You’re kid’s stronger than I thought, Papa.”

Ethan: “Why the hell would you make her do that?! The Megamycete is dangerous- she shouldn’t have even come this far, she’s just a kid! But YOU brought her here!”

Heisenberg: “Woah, woah! Look, Miranda is after her, so what’s the alternative? Once she’s here, Miranda’s not gonna let her escape. Your daughter was weak- now look at her! She can beat Miranda on her own!”

Ethan: “Is that all you care about?! Beating Miranda? That’s my daughter- she’s scared, and- I can’t even help her!

Heisenberg: (after a pause) “…I think I know how we can get to her.”

Ethan: (catches his breath from yelling) “Tell me.”

So then it’s Ethan and Heisenberg finding their way into the deepest layer knowing that they might not make it out, to save Rose. Ethan is still recovering, and Karl is still injured, so they have a very Rough Time. Cue wintersberg fluff and angst. They save Rose and get her out, but Ethan and Karl are forced to stay in the Megamycete, but in a safer layer. Rose still has her corrupted abilities but she knows she’s going to be ok.

IM BUZZING AT JUST THE DESCRIPTIONS OF YOUR FICS GOOD GOLLY but uhhhhhhhh the time travel Serennedy fic and the polycule fic?????????

I'll start w the polycule fic bc I'm not actively writing it rn. Basically I'm the smartest person ever, and I know that 1. Ethan is in love with Mia, 2. Ethan is also in love with Chris, and 3. Ethan has the potential to be in love w Heisenberg but at the very least there was obvious attraction from Heisenberg. So I put them all in a polycule. that also serves as a re8 fix it fic where Heisenberg saves Ethan, Chris extracts them both and Mia, and they all return home safe with Rose. Chris is gay homosexual gay to me so he's only in love w Ethan not Mia and Mia is only romantically with Ethan (they are so bi4bi and t4t) but I mean who couldn't love Mia so they're all just a big happy family. I'll finish it someday just not any time soon.

The Serennedy time travel fic. I'm so excited for this and I'm so fucking close to finishing it you Have no idea. It is literally the length of a short novel and I'm still going. It's going to be so mdbfdkdhskshsjs Yk. It's based off of a convo I had w @tryhardsars where Luis is sent back in time to Re2 time, and ofc Sara wanted it to be angst for Leon where Luis pampers him for what he went through bc she's a little Leon stan, but I of course turned it into Luis angst and made it 100000x worse than anything we talked about. It has a happy ending tho because I can't do angst without a happy ending. I'm so fucking excited to finish it agghh I've been writing it frantically since June. It's got lots of Ada too because again it's me.

Re-watching Markiplier playing RE Village and I had an idea about Mold-Ethan gradually becoming more and more unhinged since the Baker House Incident. Like Deadpool kind of unhinged. Talks to himself, oscillates between annoyance/anger and joy/excitement on a minute-by-minute basis. The mold has evolved to whatever degree it needs to for him to have almost instantly regeneration without the need for random chemicals. And I just want him to be so freaking weird and unnerving that everyone has no real idea of how to handle someone like him.

And if he gets railed by Discount Magneto at the end of all this, then good for him.

With a harsh, grating buzz, the factory doors tugged open–the grinding chugs of machines displaced the easy wisping winds outside.
