family portrait :D young sam and sybil are behaving themselves and vimes is throwing a hissy fit because they tried to make him wear the helmet
[id: a digital painting of three people sitting for a portrait in a domestic interior. young sam is standing with his hands behind his back and beaming proudly. vimes is standing behind him with his hand on his shoulder, wearing a shiny military uniform and a surly expression. sybil is sitting on the right with an arm around young sam, smiling at the viewer. a plumed helmet is sitting on a table on the left. end id.]

Bing ba da boom you're getting an ask (lol). For the trait fanon swap maybe voidwalker!False?
I’m going to be honest, I don’t know what a voidwalker is. X was assigned the most vague species ever. So I went for an End-ish themed look :)

do yall ever think about how weird wash's fight scene in s12 is? specifically, that moment where he does that sideways flip while shooting (I believe) at felix? like wash is an enjoyer of combat rolls, my man is always rolling, but that one flip is a flashy, and dare I say, unnecessary move for wash to use.
I also find it interesting that they had him use his sidearm instead of his battle rifle, since in previous cqc situations wash has always used blades or blade like objects such as the epsilon unit. the only times I recall him using a magnum off the top of my head is when he shot south in s6, when he shot donut in s8, and when he threatened carolina in s10. if wash busting out his magnum, it's always symbolic of him letting some part of his personal feelings guide his actions, because shooting someone with a sidearm meant for close range is more intimate than using his primary mid/long range weapon.
this was obviously not the case in the s12 fight, and they probably did it just because it looked cool, but idk that's my random wash thought of the day.

I'm having a lot of feelings about 1x11 as is to be expected. Bellamy saying what he wants to say and then saying but I'm not the guy who says stuff like that to keep up his selfish asshole image despite clearly Caring So Much the entire episode. Immediately asking raven if it helped, knowing it didn't but hoping it did anyway. How clarke says only people who can be spared should go hunt, but when clarke, finn, and myles don't come back, it's raven, Octavia, Bellamy, and monty who go search for them, all arguably essential personnel.
And then when they find myles, Bellamy does exactly what he would have done if he had been there when they were attacked. He says they need to get myles, who is extremely injured, back to camp. He immediately says he's sorry to raven when he finds out that clarke and Finn were taken, because he assumes that means they're dead or worse, but he can focus on and save this one person, myles, who is in direct danger and in need of help.

She swallowed at the mention of the nickname, a name she’d not heard her sister call her since they were younger, immature. Then again, the Hippolyta who stood before her appeared younger than when the Amazon Queen had last seen her sister, that last battle together before Penthesilea would take twelve of her best with her to Troy. To aid the Trojans but also for Penthesilea’s own atonement.
“I haven’t been called ‘Penny’ in so long...” Her voice had a metalic rasp thanks to the helmet. “I remember I used to call you ‘Lyta’, or ‘Poly’... I’d even call you Hippo some times just to make you angry.”
She was trying to distract herself, thinking back to the battle, the Amazons banding together to battle Theseus and Heracles after their sister had been stolen from them. In the confusion of the battle, Hippolyta had been slain. In her battlefield craze, it had been unclear just WHO had dealt Hippolyta the killing blow. Had it been Theseus? Heracles? Or by Penthesilea’s own spear by accident. I had been easy to blame Theseus and Heracles... but part of Penth had worried her sister had been slain by her own hand. An unsettling thought, it weighed heavily on her.
“We... we fought well, but I was defeated and shamed...”
