you could call me babe for the weekend ↳ supernatural, m/m, nc-17, dean winchester/sam winchester, ~13,800 words
warnings/enticements: sibling incest, implied/referenced underage sex, switching, first aid/canon typical gore, hurt/comfort, spit as lube, angst, bittersweet ending
There’s a downpour outside.
It’s been months since Sam has seen one, the mild Californian weather producing only the lightest of light drizzles while the sun still shone bright in the sky, just enough mist to keep everything verdant and alive. Today the sun had been washed away, covered by clouds, the mid-February storm painting everything outside gray and dark, producing heavy shadows, like the storms Sam remembered further east, with the rumble of thunder and sudden strikes of lightning, streaking through the sky.
It was all in all a miserable fucking day that carried Dean to his doorstep, drenched and bloody, like he’d been battered by the storm outside, rattled around in the sky and spat back out, but Sam knew better than that.
Stanford Era: It’s Valentine’s Day at Stanford and Sam is spending it alone, until his brother shows up injured.

"boop war" this and "tumblr pvp" that. are we not all bonding? have you not met people you would have never heard of? do you not look at the url of the stranger who booped you and think wow, i just met someone who thought of me, even if its just for a boop, before hitting the boop button on them as well? do you not gain joy from this? even in the heat of battle, our humanity shows itself. we glance into the eyes of an opponent who holds our gaze ever so slightly too long for someone who's supposed to be an unfeeling soldier and we think to ourselves i'll miss you, stranger before we inflict a killing blow. the boops show us we're human

I think Vulcans should nuzzle their faces together when they like each other but it's like, not something you do in front of other people. That's something to do in private or if you're a little kid.
Babies don't really know how to do this properly and are prone to just headbutting their parents/siblings instinctually. They want to 'get closer' to what they feel telepathically emanating from the people around them.
This nuzzling is a form of telepathic communication but it's very unskilled (a baby can and will do it) and you only get broad feelings/thoughts from it. But that's alright bc typically the only feeling/thought you're hoping to get from or communicate with such an action is 'I like you'.

you say, go fast (i say, hold on tight) ↳ supernatural, m/m, nc-17, dean winchester/sam winchester, ~10,600 words
warnings/enticements: sibling incest, car sex, clothing kink, country & western bars, dirty talk, feminization, lingerie kink, manhandling, non-traditional d/s dynamics, oral sex, outdoor sex, possessive behavior, power play, praise kink, rimming, slow dancing, under-negotiated Kink
This is what Dean looks like blanketed in desert night air. This is what Dean sounds like humming along to Johnny Cash on the local radio station, his thumbs tapping out the rhythm of the song on the steering wheel. This is what will be gone in a few dwindling months.
Mid-Season Three: Sam and Dean take some time away from figuring out how to save Dean from his deal, and live for the moment.

Some basics about alterhumans, otherkin, and therianthropes
Alterhuman is not another word for nonhuman. It’s not another word for otherkin, either. Alterhuman is an umbrella term for therianthropes, otherkin, nonhumans, and more. It can also be for some who do identify as human, just in some unusual ways. The word alterhuman is short for alternatively human. It was coined by Lio of the Crossroads System in 2014. Its purpose was so all of these kinds could unite under a word, without erasing what makes each one distinct.
The otherkin and therianthrope communities started without any relation to each other. The word otherkin was coined in the year 1990 in the Elfkind Digest mailing list. Its participants were elves, dragons, dwarves, wolves, and more. That’s where the otherkin community started.
Elsewhere, the therianthrope community started in 1993, in an internet group for fans of werewolf stories, alt.horror.werewolves. The participants started talking about how they related to those stories. Therianthropes are often kinds of animals that live on Earth, but not all of them are.
Later, in the late 1990s and 2000s, the communities of otherkin and therianthropes started to mingle because of what they have in common with each other. The two still exist side by side, with their own distinct qualities, and so do many other sorts of alterhumans.

Thanks to all my patrons for supporting me!
Turns out when you actually do your own research and writing [AHEM!] it takes time to make good content. These awesome names and plenty of generous people like them help make that happen. Their pledges give me the time to research the show PROPERLY and also go towards paying the crew, who make the show look spectacular.
If you can, and you wanna support what I do, sign up and join them :)

controversial take but being a longtime ghosts fan over the past few months has just been watching the captain become increasingly more prevalent in tags and fan content to the point where almost no other character’s stories or personalities are explored and usually if they are, it’s in relation to the captain.
I’m gay, a lesbian, and the amount of fanbases I’ve seen fall to mostly straight women and become a whirlpool of one white, conventionally attractive gay man played by a straight man has been so disappointing. the captain is not the only character in ghosts. he is not the deepest or most tragic character in ghosts. it is a found family themed show. we, gay people, do not exist as tragic entertainment to be fetishised. the women in this show are rarely mentioned in comparison to the captain, Kitty had multiple scenes about her abusive sister, is implied to come from a horrific colonialist background and basically came out as asexual in season 5 and nobody talked about it, Mary died in a way that was so horrific they didn’t even show it on camera but havers had five minutes of screen time and he is everything now, apparently.
it’s to the point where you can’t escape it, no matter what tags related to the show you do or don’t follow. I’ve seen it before with the way the good omens fanbase changed from people who respected this incredible story criticising blind faith in religion with queer characters that inherently further that message into people calling them “uwu husbands” or whatever.
I’m not particularly angry, I’m just sad to see that the internet has turned into this again. I love the captain. I love ben, he’s a fantastic actor that I grew up admiring!!! but the captain is not the entire show and I think we need to think about why he takes up like. 85% of fan works.
