Because if it's the latter then we can say that White Diamond stole her granddaughter's boyfriend and that would be goddamn hilarious

It's funny that this topic keeps coming up. I think back about... 4 years ago? We had a HUGE discussion about this, and now it's back again.

Here's the thing about me, personally:

I dislike trying to put gem-relationships into human-shaped dynamics.

I understand it might be useful for analysis! I understand it might be fun. I understand it's just a way to interpret the text.

But to me, the bottom line is that gems, including diamonds, AREN'T human. That's the fun of it. That's the frosting on top of the worldbuilding cake.

They don't HAVE mother-daughter relationships. Nor sister-relationships. They don't really even have the same romantic relationships as humans do, although I understand that Garnet steers very close. But it's still inherently different because their culture, their history, their very physiology and psychology-are all inhuman!

The Diamonds' family structure is just... that they're all Diamonds. That is their relationship to one another! And yes, that can be compared to either sisters OR mother-daughter-granddaughter, etc. But none of those are really 'truly' the one.

Anyway, sorry. I think that might be overthinking it. But I like to overthink. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Howdy everyone, I think it’s time I talk about OVA Hol Horse with my very exhausted brain lmao.

But like…just look his face. He looks so comforting! I’d bet it’s so calming, that it’ll soothe anybody’s worries away. And in these trying times, he’d likely comfort the person that’s in need of it.

Gonna feature OVA Polnareff in this post too, because why not? Anyhow, man….just the transition of this scene…it was so, goofy yet menacing at the same time? It’s just like. Yes, you start with the whole “Oh what’s that? I can beat your bum? Oh, you’re into that stuff!” by OVA Polnareff, then OVA Hol laughs with him like silly adult men. Then the whole action of OVA Avdol risking and sacrificing himself to OVA Pol. And just…OVA Hol having such an ominous looking shot with the most hilarious laugh known to mankind lol. Like. And the OVA Pol shot…so many shadows, it’s just so impactful. Also look at OVA Pol’s face, he looks so upset I swear this man is so unbelievably expressive, it’s amazing.

OVA Hol has a golden Emperor, but I’ve already said that before. But I still believe it’s a neat little difference between that and what we see in the anime Part 3 for Hol. Plus…

…seeing Emperor being summoned the way it is, that’s so..wow. I mean, Part 3 Hol usually has Emperor either faintly spawn into his hand, or spin, which is cool, but OVA Hol Horse has it where it comes out of his hand like his flesh is getting ripped, or summons into his hand like wind. And this scene is interesting too because OVA Hol actually attempts to shoot DIO! It’s so cool…I love analyzing minor characters that aren’t often spoken about, and Hol Horse is special in my heart for that. OVA Hol even clenched his teeth so hard, that his cigarette broke off…it’s a small but neat detail.

Love this scene, I mean, he’s just laughing and then the transition goes to: “YOU! I’ll fuckin’ kill you!”, then spits his cigarette into the air as it rotates until he makes his shot at OVA Pol. His shots are so cool everytime OVA Hol is on screen…

Having a motorcycle instead of horses or elephants is also quite the change. Honestly, there’s many things the OVA changed and with Hol Horse, it’s been a lotta changes, but I am satisfied with them. From having a more southern accent, to making him more sassy and serious, and such more but my brain is so worn out right now LOL.

As OVA Hol Horse says: “The gun is mightier than the sword, my friend.”

MIKU EXPO RAHHHHHH.

Hello my name is Dove and I'm a Miku expo defender. Really though, seeing Miku or any of the vocaloids live has been a childhood dream of mine since I got into them as a kid. I cried a few times hence my bottom eye makeup being smudged and one of my eyelashes trying to escape lolol.

But ye, I went in blind other than knowing the theme, contest winner (miku miku beaMMM), and the 1st song being anamanaguchi. I'm so glad I did. 2 utsu songs? Vampire? Gimme x gimme??? Fucking Miku Fiesta?? Man. I cried more at this concert than I have in like the past 5 months or so lolol.

And a big thank you to my friends who cosplayed with me! I had fun styling the rin and len wigs and kudos to my bud that cosplayed Luka. She had never cosplayed before, and she heckin' killed it. It was also hilarious because any video that I saw taken from the stairs behind us, I could see the stupid top spike of the len wig clearly in each one. Like, our len is a good average height. Stuck out like a sore thumb. Lololol.

Also yo to the other group of cosplayers we say immediately after at waffle house. Great minds think alike haha.

Nah tho. Miku Expo? Banger. If they decide to tour the US again and if they stop somewhere within driving distance, I wanna go again.

Thank you Miku, and thank you to the band. Hopefully crunchyroll will figure out their shit or someone else will be in charge next time. Yeehaw

Hi! Love your work! Just curious – is there a way to play oblivious MC? (It’s perfectly fine if not!) Also could you answer how ROs would react at oblivious MC? I imagine with Rook it’d be sadly hilarious because he himself pretend to be oh so blind to MC’s feelings (but screaming internally at our dumbness, poor soul).

I thought I answered this before, but apparently I only really did it for ??? lol. Anyway, I think it depends on the RO since not all of them are forward. You can choose oblivious choices for the ones who are more open about their attraction for MC (like ??? or Beck).

Rook: Listen, this is actually a good thing for him, since it makes it easier for him to pretend he isn't hopelessly in love with MC. He isn't keen on MC knowing, since that isn't a line he's willing to cross. If he is though..........well rest in pieces my guy

Beck: He finds it oddly cute and endearing as it is exasperating. He's also willing to spell it out for MC, especially if there's indication MC potentially has feelings for him. He'd prefer to wait it out and give MC space to figure it out first, though.

Rhea: Has no idea how to approach the situation. She's used to being the one approached then the one doing the approaching, so she ends up fumbling through how to figure it out. Is too embarrassed to be forward herself, so the both of you are going to take a while while she figures it out.

Zoe: God, the two most oblivious people in the world having feelings for each other. Everyone around them and MC are the ones screaming internally like "you two clearly have feelings for each other!! what are you doing!!" It probably takes forever for it to click for either of them.

Lars: He's not waiting LMAO. If you don't get it, he's stating it again as clearly as possible. Waiting feels pointless, especially since he isn't confident you will get it at some point in the future with how you act.

???: Considering they're in your head, they find this whole situation so funny afsldfjka. You're wondering why your heart feels strange when you talk to them and they just play dumb like 'ah yes, I wonder why, little moon.' They're stuck in your head for a while, so they have all the time in the world for you to figure it out

I just wanna clear this up because I've seen a lot of people get old Alastor lore mixed up (especially on twitter). Again, I only tagged these posts for Charlastors because they're a community I find welcoming within the fandom and I know a lot have genuine interest in his romantic side/ability to have relationships.

I used to follow Zoophobia and remember some tidbits, but since it was so long ago it's understandable a lot of stuff is probably lost! So I hope this will serve as a post for anyone unfamiliar. Feel free to add if you remember/have screenshots of anything.

Basically, before Hazbin Hotel, Viv had a webcomic called Zoophobia. Alastor was later taken from this series and added to the demon crew, who would later be used for Hazbin.

During the Zoophobia era, Alastor was kind of a little shota lmao

He was a cannibal deer who had an obsession with this other deer character called Autumn

Generally he was obsessed with ALL magical deer, but Autumn was hilarious to get a reaction out of so Alastor found it funny to torment his obsession, as all psycho killers do.

However, he had somewhat human qualities such as his relationship with Mimzy as most people know about. I believe it was mostly on Mimzy's part rather than Alastor's.

Before Alastor was removed to be added to Hazbin, he was written to have a big crush on another character!

KayCee was a chaos spirit who Alastor fell in love with. I have some theories that she possibly could be a character recycled for an upcoming villain in Hazbin, but we'll see about that... (yes, it could be Roo).

I think it's interesting seeing this side to him. I do believe his character has hardly changed since this development, but I'm sure he has been given much more depth.

KayCee was also one of Viv's faves.

Jack decides he needs a bit of time away from family to mourn the loss of his one sided friendship with Vlad and Vlad's death. So he takes a trip to Gotham. On this trip, he runs into Damian and Tim, who are convinced he's Captain Marvel in disguise.

Meanwhile, Jason's also run into Jack as he's coming into his ghost powers. Jason starts freaking out because someone just saw him when his new powers started glitching. Panicking only worsens the situation as now he can't figure out how to get his foot un-caught in the cement.

Jack, despite not knowing if this kid is a halfa or not, decides to give him advice based on how Danny told him his powers work. It works.

Now, Jason has a sort-of mentor that he didn't ask for but definitely needs, and Jack has something to do while he sorts out his feelings on the whole Vlad-was-never-his-friend thing.

Eventually, Damian and Tim catch them while Jack is trying to explain how Jason might have a second form. While Jack explains, Jason just transforms. His ghost form isn't what either expected. Jack was expecting something similar to Danny's or Vlad's. Not a winged little kid with a mask.

To be honest, this just solidifies that this guy is Captain Marvel for Damian and Tim. Obviously he decided to teach Jason magic.

I think one of my “favorite” things is when people misinterpret what it means to be aroace. Watching people so clearly not understand the complexity behind the spectrum of aromatic and asexuality and then proceed to say they “stand with” aroace as an ally is so hilarious to me. Especially when they use this to start bashing on a perfectly fine ship, especially because said ship gets in the way of theirs.

Aroace does not mean no attraction. The plastered poster face for it is people who don’t feel ANY types of attraction, but that does not mean everyone. Aromantic people can date and fall in love. Asexual people can fuck. Aroace people can do both.

Yes, aroace rep IS needed. But we still have it via Luffy—just because Luffy kisses someone (hypothetically) doesn’t mean we just yeeted the aroace label off of him. He is STILL aroace. You know who else is aroace? Bon Clay, for one. Zoro as well. Yet I don’t see people screaming that shipping Zoro with someone completely erases the aroace label, now do I?

The worst thing is Cellbit being back is not gonna fix anything, It's just gonna numb his pain and he's gonna ignore it to focus on whatever Cellbit needs (not Cellbit's fault)

He never fully processed his grief for Bobby, he never had time cause Cellbit started the regret arc the next day after he woke up and all his focus went into that, and while I repeat this is not Cellbit fault, Roier does have this unhealthy habit of leaving everything for Cellbit, even himself

And even if when Cellbit comes back there's nothing going on with him and Roier doesn't feel the need to push his feelings and stuff aside for him (which let's be honest it's not gonna happen cause it's Cellbit and he is gonna rp the hell out of this, king shit)

Roier is not suddenly gonna feel happy and is going to fix his relationship with Pepito cause the trauma is still gonna be there, his feelings of abandonment are still gonna be there, his fear of attachment is still gonna be there, the fact that Cellbit decided to stay is still gonna be there, the body of his death son is still gonna be there, the feeling that he is a family destroyer is still gonna be there.

Contrary to popular belief love doesn't fix everything, now Cellbit does make Roier happy and having him back will probably be a good thing for his spirit, but the problems Roier feels are not because of Cellbit, him disappearing only made it worst, but they are problems that have been there since the second week of the island and they are feelings Roier can't push inside anymore, they are coming out unfortunately at the sacrifice of a child who definitely doesn't deserve it. This are not Cellbit problems, this are Roier problems and only Roier can fix them

Why I believe John/Orekoto was lying about his motive in Neoplasm

Ok so double just came out and I have a lot of thoughts. When a new MV comes out I usually wait a while until I can make a proper analysis but this one is mostly going to focus on neoplasm. And in particular one thing me and my friend found particularly suspicious about John’s (Orekoto’s) testimony when it comes to the murder(s).

When Es questioned John about their murder, he responded very clearly with “Yeah it was me, I killed them off”. And after that Es questioned why he did it, only to say that he did it only because they were annoying him and it was whoever was walking by. Es goes quiet at this which might imply to me some sort of suspicion on his testimony. John goes on to say that he can’t remember how many he killed because he was just born back then and his memory is kinda fuzzy.

Instantly this set off a ton of red flags for me, it just doesn’t make any sense when you think about it. Earlier on when John fronted he started acting all violent and threatened to beat up Es, who just calmly laughed it off. Es seemed to be quickly notice something was off, as their calm demeanour enacted an also suspiciously calm demeanour from John. Es then said it was strange because they assumed him to be a monster. After hearing that John instantly went back into that violent persona that they were showing as soon as they fronted.

This scene is very telling to me. John is not violent, or evil, heartless or anything like that. He’s only acting that way to potentially come out less. And be even straight up says “if I had stayed a monster… maybe that would’ve been better.” Then instantly takes back what he said by just going “…what?”

From this it’s very clear, like I said, that John isn’t evil. But then that takes what he said about his murders into question. That he only did it because he just got annoyed and killed random passers. This clearly isn’t true when you take into account the whole interaction with Es, because otherwise he would’ve attempted to kill Es the whole time and not go docile when they weren’t acting scared.

I believe that John is trying to dip back into his monster persona he made for himself here. He probably figured out that acting evil all the time wouldn’t work, and when questioned on such a sensitive topic such as the murder he just went with the option that made him the least sympathetic, and Mikoto more sympathetic in order to lower his stress levels by not telling the full truth.

As for who committed the murder/s, I’m still pretty unsure. In double it looks like both sides are perpetrators. But this also takes into account, what about those scenes of John killing the mannequins? It seems like it matches up enough to what he said in the voice drama but I don’t think that’s the smiling gun.

Milgram is an extremely complex series, and in no way should the easiest option be assumed as the right one. Unreliable narrators are a big thing in the series, and we should look at a character’s MV with how they view themselves in mind. For example, Kazui thinks himself as a monster and this is especially prevalent in Cat, where if you’d take it at first glance you might assume that he’s evil or whatever, just as he views himself.

The same should apply to John as well. He wants to believe he’s a monster in order to protect Mikoto from more mental stress about his murder, and might end up with him fronting less. This likely subconsciously played itself into double and even MeMe, where John portrays himself as evil as that’s what he wants people to view him as.

I feel like when discussing who’s the murder and if John is evil, we should definitely take this into account otherwise our future opinions will be biased.

Ok so someone just mentioned the fact that he had a baseball bat in the first place means it was likely a premeditated murder. So him killing people just because they annoyed him would be a really weird thing to say because that would’ve been an impulsive murder, and he had a weapon at the time.
