A ship I have with said character: Kuroshipping :] Its very casual for me in that I can see either perspective of people who see Hilbert as Aro, and I don't really see either Hilbert or Cheren being wholesome head over heels for each other but they really do radiate that energy of "If our company allowed gayness to be explicitly shown we would be an endgame couple" They just have an energy where they would be chaotic but in such a fun and loving way (though they probably would mellow out once they reach their twenties) the kind where you probably would just think they were close friends from a glance gthhgtuighg
A BROTP I have with said character: I WILL FOREVER STAND WITH HILBERT AND N BEING THE BROTHERS EVER AND HOW THEY BREAK THE CHAIN OF BROTHERS FIGHTING OVER DRAGONS
Just ahguhtuhgtgtihu I have so much to say about these two I cannot fit it in one ask fiuhtguihtg. Brothers who didn't know they existed until found, thinking both are heroes with roles sprung upon them from early ages in different points of their lives, instead of breaking over time they slowly melt together like glue, both feeling the need to reconnect after their own individual self journeys are complete, finally breaking a chain of pain and suffering even if it hurt to get there...aaaaaaa I care for them so muchhhhhhhhh

A NOTP I have with said character: I'm sorry but if you ship Hilbert and N (+Hilda and N for that matter) I will hate your guts and I hate how a lot of the tags are filled with that shit ;-; I just want sibling content (I'm neutral on Hilbert X Hilda since they aren't canonically siblings despite how I plead and beg, I just ignore and move on with my day lol)
A random headcanon: YOU GET TWO FOR THE PRICE OF ONE BABY
First one kind of ties to the brothers at peace thing, is whatever dragon Hilbert ended up getting depending on the region, after he and N reconnected, N just kind of ended up getting both dragons over time from Hilbert. Its not like official or anything, but Hilbert noticed how often N borrows his dragon and is fine with never getting it back. He is just happy N can be at peace with both of the dragons :)
AND THE OTHER IDK HOW MUCH I CAN FIT basically, I think Hilbert never became champion. He didn't really have a major goal of becoming one like the other protags before him, but that doesn't mean he hated the idea or anything, he just wasn't sure if that was what he wanted to do, and used his journey as a way to internally see what he should do. After the whole "Unintentionally becoming a chosen hero to fight his spiritual sibling" thing, a lot about N really stuck to him, wanting to find him for several reasons (like wanting to make sure he is okay, potentially bringing him home, saying the stuff he said in Masters etc etc). He didn't really act upon this until he was initially fighting Alder. He was literally on Alder's last Pokemon before he called the match off on his own terms.
After this he went on his way across the regions looking for N, which took a major toll on him the two years he was gone, mainly mentally. He had a hard time really justifying himself to relax, and almost ghosting everyone he ever knew also hurt a lot (The most he did to contact was write letters once in a blue moon to his mom, letting her know he was okay, but since he was on the move so much she didn't even really get the chance to write back)
I want to write a fic about this someday but basically I imagine Cheren was the one to find Hilbert outside of Unova and convince him to come home, and the reunion for everyone included so many tears and hugs. After some time home, Hilbert would go to Pasio (With the Unova gang of course) and reunite with the one he longed so much to meet again
General Opinion over said character: I am very normal about him. I know a lot of the stuff is kind of made up from my mind but in my defense I kind of have to at points this poor boy gets no lines in his own game lol
I care for him so much and I hope for the day Pokemon realizes the potential of some kind of anime based on him (never will happen but I'm used to things I want not happening lol)

ok, so. i drew every warrior cat! here's a long rambling sentimental reflective-type post on the blog i guess.
I started this blog when I was 15, in 2018. I was bored at a summer job, scribbled Onestar on the back of a sticker sheet, and thought "huh, there sure is a lot of Warrior Cats characters! I've seen some design blogs around, I think there's a "draw 100 cats challenge" people do, wouldn't it be fun if I gave that a try?" I had nothing going on art-wise at the moment, I was losing steam on my Pokemon webcomic and had given up askblogs a while ago, so I quickly fell into it.
Starting out was weird- I'd only read up to about Power of Three at the time, and hadn't read TPB or TNP in quite a while. I vivdly remember someone sending me a request to draw Tawnypelt about 20 cats in or so, and I genuinely couldn't remember who she even was. I think I got a request to draw Jagged Peak before I even knew DOTC existed? I wasn't working off of a specific list, and would miss certain cats out entirely due to forgetting them which frustrated me. Drawing cats was fun, and once I got to 100 eventually I found myself going "well, now what? I haven't even drawn Sorreltail, Nightstar, Appledusk, Spiderleg..." so, i kept going!
Then 2020 rolled around and lockdown hit, and I was suddenly stuck in my house with no plans, seemingly unlimited time, and a desperate need for some kind of outlet that offered escapism from the world.
Drawing Warrior Cats was something mundane and rhythmic but creative and enjoyable, and I found the aspect of looking at it as a challenge alluring, the same way I had when the goal was "100 random warrior cats". How far could I get before having to stop? I couldn't do over 1000 cats, right?

Lot has changed in my life over the course of this. I started the challenge just after leaving high school, and now I'm headed into my third year of uni. Some family's moved around, we have a cat now, I started playing video games again, my bedroom's been revamped, I met some internet friends IRL for the first time, I'm more or less publicly out as gay, all different kinds of stuff. It's fucking wild to consider that one of the biggest constants in my life these past few years has been drawing goddamn warrior cats. I've had the Warriors wiki list of characters open on my computer basically forever, and finally closing it feels like a goodbye.
So what's happening with this blog? Well, I'm not upkeeping a daily queue anymore, that's for sure. There are some cats here I KNOW I'm going to want to go back and redesign at some point though, so this isn't over! Even if I'm less active here, for now, I'm not going anywhere. I'll probably also use this for any general warriors art/posts I want to make, as well as those "send me asks" request meme thingies. those are fun.
I'm hoping to be maybe more active on my youtube now, as well as just generally experimenting with my art more. One of the biggest downsides of spending 3 years drawing fullbody flatcolours of warrior cats and not that much else is that my improvement on every ground except cat anatomy and character design has become pretty fuckin stagnant lmao. I need to make art with backgrounds and shading and non-cat characters again or i think ill explode. time to get out of this comfort zone!!
speaking of, very lucky this thing ended right at the start of Artfight. I'm @/RioBlitzle there and I try to revenge back attacks! Will probably put my energy into that for a wee while.
@daily-mario-characters might come back,, eventually but I'm not promising anything, and if I haven't learned anything from running this blog you might see me on a "drawing every pokemon" streak in a few months. it is how it is.
Anyways, thank you all so much for your support. Massive shoutout to everyone who's ever left nice comments in the tags of my posts, I don't really have a way to respond but I read every one of those and please know that they absolutely make my day.

So I had an AMAZING time at the Backstreet Boys concert but I definitely forgot:
A) That the "Boyz 4 Now" episodes of Bob's Burgers are, in fact, a documentary
B) Just how much of their back catalogue lives rent-free in my brain
And, most importantly, C) Just how much of said back catalogue relied on a lot of strategic hat-based choreography

🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓 fields forever, you know
Now I'm going to have this song stuck in my head all day
But I digress!! Here are some random fun facts about me, one strawberry emoji at a time!!
🍓 I can cook, I can bake, but some of my favorite things in the world to make are pasta, soup, and carrot cake.
🍓 When I was younger and suuuuuuuper depressed, I used to go for long drives at night around my hometown when I couldn't sleep, heading up to the airport and out to the country and into the city and back. I still think going for long drives is one of the most soothing things in the world.
🍓 My favorite color is green! Which you would honestly not know from my wardrobe, which is mostly various shades of black and blue and red.
🍓 The only quasi-convincing accent I can put on is a Russian one, and oof, it might be funny, but it is not good.
🍓 When I was a kid I dislocated both my elbows trying to do a cartwheel -- two different cartwheels, two different times, one elbow after the other.
🍓 I hate my job!!! I hate it more than I hate any of the jobs I have had in the past, and I was robbed at gunpoint at one of them!! This job makes me feel crazy and like I am bad at not only what I do for it, but as a person, full stop, and I don't want to do it anymore!! I am in the process of looking for another one and this is probably the least fun fact in the world but I just needed to say this somewhere!!!
🍓 I used to sing! In public! For people! I still sing in my car and when I'm alone but I miss performing like missing a limb. One of the only nice things about current job is that when the museum I work at closes for the day, and if I am the last one in the building to clock out, sometimes I can take a little bit of time before I leave and sing in the empty main space because the acoustics there are excellent.
Which, speaking of, I think I already know the next song I'm going to add to my personal setlist, since you got it stuck in my head...

Taeil
I see Taeil getting with someone who’s not only mature (personality-wise, actual age doesn’t matter) but also very determined and decisive. He’d like a person that doesn’t change their mind about things too often, learns well from their mistakes and is just all-around balanced. Other traits that I think he’d look for: politeness, a MUST; grounded; good at giving advice. Pretty much a twin-flame of his.
I think he’d find it cute if they think in a detail-oriented way and appreciate the small things in life. A positive, grateful mentality would be SO attractive to him, I swear.
One of his deal breakers would most likely be excessive jealousy and possessiveness. He trusts you and your love for him, and I think he’d feel distraught if you were constantly questioning the relationships he has with other people (friends, co-workers, fans, etc.)
Last important thing: needs a person that can take a hit. He’s probably looking for someone he can spend the rest of his days with, so a quitter just isn’t good for that. There will be difficult moments in the future and he needs to know they won’t give up on him and on the life he chose.
Taeyong
I think Taeyong would like a calm person that knows how to take control of the relationship. He probably feels tired sometimes from leading a group of 23 people, so I can imagine he’d be thrilled if he was able to not worry at all when he’s around his partner. He trusts they’re capable of dealing with any problems that may arise and keep their feet on the ground. Bonus points if they have a good relationship with themselves.
By that I mean: you know how people say you can’t truly love others until you love yourself? Yeah, that. He’s a person like any other, and there are times when he struggles with self-love, but he needs someone that doesn’t hate themselves, or he’ll simply go crazy. With his career come so many rumours and moments that tear at his confidence… he just doesn’t need a person that has to be convinced every single day that they’re worthy of the good things in life.
I’d say, in general, all he asks for is someone that can watch out for themselves. He’d take care of them too, but he’d like it SO much if just for once in his life he’s the one being cared for. Would just melt on the spot if you have that caring, almost parental instinct in you. Gods, yes. That’s all I can say.
Johnny
I can see him being with a very bright, smart person. He’d like someone that comes from a different background so he could learn more about their life—whether that means the country they were born in or their field of work. I think he would appreciate a very laid back person that doesn’t get stressed too often and won’t make fun of him for his bad jokes. Also, doesn’t like people that try to play him. Honesty above all.
He’d like it if they are super curious and creative, too. Picking up new hobbies and interests is something he’d be up to anytime, and it doesn’t matter what it is either. He’d give anything a try—from knitting to marine biology, no questions asked.
Something he’d dislike is if the person is too materialistic. It’s not like he’s a completely spiritual being and lives with 0 detachments to objects but he’s a firm believer in what Antoine de Saint-Exupéry said: what is essential is invisible to the eye. And, you know, what you truly find essential is up to you; it can mean family, friends, love, hope, all of that… he just wants you to love life itself as much as he does.
Yuta
He’d probably like one of the two drastic variants: a very gentle, sweet person or someone who’s on his level of flirtatiousness and boldness. Wouldn’t mind any, but he needs a strong personality, either way, you know? No blandness here.
Something very attractive to him is being involved in social issues and caring for the world around you. Very sexc, yes, and also likes people that make others smile.
Something that would make him quite literally give up on someone is the excessive fear of change, or just the will to remain in their comfort zone at all costs. He earns for a person that wants to live life to its fullest. If not they’re not ride-or-die to that level, then he hopes they at least accompany and support him in all of the things he wants to do.
One thing that is very tied to that is his dislike for know-it-alls. He lives in such a diverse scenario that it’s just dumb for him to think someone would ever be capable of knowing every piece of information on everything that’s out there. He’s fine with people making mistakes, but if they can’t admit to that or admit they don’t know something he just gets pissed off. So, yeah, he’d avoid stuck-ups.
Doyoung
He’d like someone very loyal and fair, who treats people with respect but calls them out if they ever have to. I think he’d prefer a person that is naturally a deep thinker and wouldn’t lose their mind over small disagreements.
Much like Johnny, he likes that intellectual side of yours, and when I say that I don’t mean like “ah, he’d want to date a math genius” or something. No, no. I’m referring to all types of intellectuality and intelligence. The thing for him is simply using your brain and being proud of it. He would just dislike a person that kind of lives life on autopilot, you know?
He’d like it if they’re interested or professionally involved with music somehow and would consider their opinions in his career. He wouldn’t mind if their taste is hugely different from his, though. It’s alright if pop music is not your favourite or if you have no idea who EXO is (lol). All he wants is to see the world through your eyes too, in all aspects of life including this one.
Will also love you forever if you side with him when he’s being teased by the others, because, c’mon, it’s always 22 people against poor, defenceless Doyoung. Please don’t join them, he’s begging you—
Jaehyun
This is very, very clear to me but he needs to be with an independent person. He’s quite sentimental and he has his more romantic moments, sure, but he wants someone that can give him the space he needs when he needs it. A person that’s constantly begging him for attention would be way more of a burden than anything else.
Also, he’s 100% alright with someone that has a very explicit and loud love language (like saying “I love you” 300 times a day) but he’s not like that, and he needs them to see that. Jaehyun could NOT be with a person that doesn’t appreciate the love he shows in the little things, like making coffee in the morning, and if they ever question the way he feels… yeah, not good. He’d feel misunderstood and that’s a big no-no.
He’d find it cute if they’re bubbly or just very youthful but is also capable of falling for an old soul that shares his interests in things like classical music and vinyls. I don’t think he’d ever get with someone that's kind of a tech addict, though, idk why but that’s quite clear to me. Always being on your phone or caring too much about social media would probably make him feel like you’re not grateful for the things you have around you, in real life. So, yeah, not attractive, bestie.
Jungwoo
Jungwoo is a very, very, very sweet person and he needs someone who’s also like that. He wouldn’t care if that’s there for everyone to see, in the sense that they’re not shy about it, or if it’s a part of them that only a couple of close people know. As long as it’s there, he’s happy.
Aside from that, I think he’s fully capable of falling in love with quite literally anyone. He can see the beauty in all types of people, from all places, backgrounds, races, and just—anyone. He’s just so full of love for people, ah I can’t even. He’s too good for this world.
Some things that could, however, push him away from getting to know someone: a negative way of thinking, being too traditionalistic, and too much scepticism. He’s fine with people that like to honour the past and their roots but like, you’ve gotta keep up with the world you live in and accept that things change. I think that’s very tied to how much he likes defying masculine standards, too.
The scepticism thing is quite simple: he can handle teasing just fine but if they’re constantly making fun of him for wearing his heart on his sleeve or being a bit goofy, he’d feel kind of betrayed.

It's sweater weather (or tunic weather for canonverse) and Sandor has accidentally shrunk/ruined the sweater/tunic Sansa knit/embroidered for him. He never had the heart to tell her he didn't like it and now he'll do anything to make the tears stop.

Farmer Sandor Clegane is a renowned across the county for growing rather large vegetables. One crisp autumn morning, Sansa goes with Margaery to the farmers market and quite literally runs into the rugged farmer himself.

On a dark and stormy night, Sansa, Sandor, and a handful of other guests who don't know each other are invited to a dinner party/feast at a haunted mansion/castle. The host has a secret, though, and the guest list isn't so random after all.

Things are getting heated on Halloween night in the cemetery. Sansa and Sandor both have reasons for being alone in the graveyard, but butt heads when they find their favorite mausoleum isn't empty.

Sansa and Sandor have loved each other forever. But there's a catch. They’re ghosts who haunt the houses across the street from each other and can only leave their property on Halloween night.

The Bunker Party - Debrief
Hey peeps!
Our latest bunker party was just amazing. My cheeks and my stomach still hurt from laughing...Supernatural seriously does have THEE best fandom and I’m so glad to be a part of it.
6 and a half hours we were hanging out for…SIX AND A HALF! But to see so many beautiful faces, hear so many lovely voices and to spend time with new people was just a dream! The support from you guys for each other, the love in this fandom; I can’t express how much I adore it.
Me and @katehuntington love holding these events and we are already planning the next live stream (date to be announced) but it will be in August.

NAME : monroe, though some of you know me as mango thanks to a friend of mine filling my queue on an old RP blog with over 100 pictures of fucking mangos, so there’s definitely that.
FACECLAIM : I don’t really have a mun faceclaim, I just use whatever icons aren’t associated with the blog I’m posting on, so miscellaneous, other muses, faceless icons. I used to use a combination of belle, baymax, or gogo but ya girl is lazy when it comes to non-rp icons.
PRONOUNS : she/her, they/them.
HEIGHT : I was 5′2 forever but my last appointment they put down 5′4/5′5 & I haven’t recovered.
BIRTHDAY : april 10. I’m an aries raised by a leo & a scorpio.
AESTHETIC : I have an entire personal aesthetic board on pinterest & I feel like that says a lot more about me than I’d like to admit tbh.

FAVORITE MUSE (S) YOU’VE WRITTEN : is it cheating for me to say all of them? each of them is so stupidly unique, but I guess Alec. he’s challenging for me in a way none of my other muses are, but the problem is Jonathan is so flexible. don’t make me choose tbh.
* GETTING TO KNOW THE ACCOUNT :
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO TAKE ON THIS MUSE : it was a whole host of things. Alec was always a character that stuck with me long after I’d finished the first three books of TMI & also TID, but I read them long before I was into writing canon characters so it never occurred to me to write him as a muse. I remember being so excited to see the movie at first... & then being disappointed in Alec’s casting to the point I didn’t think on it again after that. looking back, I find that fucking hilarious because I don’t actually have a problem with the casting but what the entire fuck was that bondage inspired wardrobe? anyway. flash forward a few years, I vaguely got back into it when I watched an episode during a weekly friend dinner, but the real push was when RPers from the show started crossing my dash. I wanted to interact with them, & friends who were making verses for the show/universe. I usually make verses for new material on an existing muse before I consider making a muse, & usually it’s enough so I did this with Brock & to this day I fucking adore what I came up with for him, but it did NOT get me where I wanted to be. thinking on it a bit harder, I decided to go ahead & bite the bullet, making the muse that kept nudging me. & thus, Alec was brought to life.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE ASPECTS OF YOUR CURRENT MUSE : I love the fact that there’s expansive canon for him across multiple mediums - there’s the books, which are well established, with amazing world-building & deep characterization, there’s the movie which gives me a decent visualization of that same world-building, then there’s the show, which gives me an alternate take on a few things, introduces new material & characters for him to interact with, & challenges my creative drive, so I guess this makes my answer his blended canon.
WHAT’S YOUR BIGGEST INSPIRATION WHEN IT COMES TO WRITING : my biggest inspiration remains meta-writing & exploring worldbuilding with my partners - this is how I develop everything & sustain muse. outside of that, I tend to listen to scores from source material if they’re available, & I also make my own playlists that help. sometimes if I feel particularly drained or the creative well is dry, I re-read or re-watch key scenes, but most of that only nudges me - the biggest source of inspiration comes from talking & plotting with partners. it always has, always will.
FAVORITE TYPES OF THREADS : I used to be terrified of angst, now I tend to prefer it. hurt/comfort, domestic slices of life. I also have an extreme fondness for AU threads, because I can’t think of a better challenge than taking my muse & seeing if I can transpose their canon self into a whole new world.
BIGGEST STRUGGLE IN REGARDS TO YOUR CURRENT MUSE : I lost Alec for a hot minute - not just losing his blog thanks to random termination, but I also just straight up lost his muse, forcing me to slide onto my other muse in the fandom as my main for nine months. Ever since that, it’s been hard to find the same motivation & fire that first encompassed this blog but it’s slowly coming back. Also, verses. Unlike Jon, Alec is far harder to verse-craft for.

I was tagged by the very lovely, @nerdierholler to give up some of my darkest gaming secrets... Yaaay! Thank you, darling XD
1. Favourite game of the series?
Wow... Not pulling any punches, are we? Honestly, they all have things I adore and all have things I dislike. I’ve played DAO more than the others, but that’s because it’s the oldest of them all. I love the camp mechanic and just how in depth Origins is, but the combat is... dated?
Da2 has Hawke, which for me is a winner in itself.
And DAI has so many wonderful characters.
2. How did you discover 🐉 Age?
I honestly can not even remember at this point! I remember playing DAO when it was quite ‘new’. I remember dying, aaannnnd then i didn’t play it again until someone showed me how amazing DAI looked. So, I bought it and then got back into them all in a big way, and destroyed my life in doing so!
3. How many times have you’ve played the games?
Ahahahahaha... Umm... I don’t know..?
Let’s put it this way, on my laptop alone (as in ALL my console hours, which is a whole lot, not counted.) I have clocked up over 1200 hours on DAO, 720 on DA2, and 1250 on DAI... So, yes. Now you all know how very sad I am...
4. Favourite race to play as?
Dwarfs, they hands down have the BEST and funniest dialog options.
5. Favourite class?
DAO; Dual wield rogue
DAI & DA2; Mage. Oh, so many mages...
6. Do you play through the games differently or do you make the same decisions each time?
I kinda vary it, but not as much as I sometimes want to. I’ve never done a pure ‘asshole’ playthrough, even though sometimes I would like to see how it ends up. I blame Bioware for making the NPC’s likeable.
7. Go-to adventuring group?
DAI: Alistair, Zevran, Shale.
DA2: Varric, Fenris/Carver, Anders.
DAI: Varric, Dorian, and random. My 3rd spot always changes so I can hear as much awesome dialog as possible.
8. Which of your characters did you put the most thought into?
This poor sod...
Viridis - My DAO dalish elf is a close second, but she’s dead, so her struggle is over, and she went out a hero.
Poor Faeron suffers every. single. day. And still finds some reason to try and smile.
9. Favourite romance?
Alistair. But that is helped hugely thanks to cute (and not so cute) mods.
This is actually hard because, Although I like to romance certain people more than others, that isn’t me saying that their romance is my favourite.
I mean, I freakin’ love Dorian, but out of all the romances I feel his was done really well, but... A little quick compared to others which had a nicer, spread over time, thing, going on.
10. Have you read any of the comics/����?
I read one... But that was a long while ago now. It was good! They’re just pretty pricey and very rarely on sale.
11. If you read them, which was your favourite 📓?

And doors in DAI. I am always getting stuck behind one instead of running through the doorway. Please tell me it’s not just me?! I miss the doors of DAO and DA2. I am willing to sacrifice immersion on that one small point, I just want to get through the doorway, please.

Mages. Especially as i’m playing one 95% of the time.

Depends.
Jereth, Xander, Tobias, and Faeron & Nico, are all from the same timeline, and my ‘canon’ run if you like. Xander also has a sister (other than Bethany) who is from the same time, but also has her own separate parallel play-through. I mix and match backgrounds.
17. What did you name your pets? (mabari, summoned animals, mounts, etc.)
Jereth called his mabari, Captain blightballs, because he is forever 12, and thinks it’s funny.
Xander’s mabari was named Wrex, as in Wrex from Mass Effect.
Faeron’s Halla is named Ghilas, which is elven for ‘to go’.
Nico’s horse (yes a horse and NOT a halla) is called stormy, which is a RP in joke.
18. Have you installed any mods?
Oh hell yes! Many, many mods. Gods bless you mod makers! You guys make everything so much better! And I say this as someone who has played all the games, many times, totally un-modded.
Lots of better textures for CC, gameplay changes, cheats. You name it! It’s not like I don’t know the base game at this point.
19. Did your Warden want to become a Grey Warden?
Yes, and no.
Did Jereth want to get out of the circle, and possibly being made tranquil?
Oh yes! Yes indeed.
However, did he want to drink blood cocktails, watch his bromies die, and actually have to do stuff?
Not so much.
20. Hawke’s personality?
Purple. They always all end up as purple... Or at least, varying degrees. I can’t not.
Xander is 100% purple, bar maybe 4 occasions in the whole game.
21. Did you make matching armour for your companions in Inquisition?
Heh... I have TWINS. I had to try and remember who was wearing what, and which parts were dyed, and then make two sets... Utter nightmare.
22. If your character(s) could go back in time to change one thing, what would they change?
Jereth wouldn’t change anything, because he isn’t that wise. Plus, in his mind he ended up coming out ahead.
Xander would have tried to save Bethany and paid more attention to his mother. He’d just try and be more responsible, I guess, but probably end up failing and just being the same smartass as ever.
Faeron... My poor boy... Faeron would do it all differently if he could. I think, if he could change one thing, he’d have let Morrigan drink from the pool. Having yet MORE voices in his head was the last thing he needed, not to mention a constant reminder of who Mythal really is...
Nico wouldn’t let Dorian get close enough to Faeron for the relationship to start in the first place. It was was a big enough thing for her to accept it in the first place... But when he decided to leave, and said Faeron couldn’t go with him... Nico didn’t take kindly to it.
23. Do you have any headcanons about your character(s) that go against canon?
Twins? Someone dating Varric? The fact that Hawke, Amell & Alistair are all alive?? Sorry Stroud. (not sorry)
Yeah... I substitute that bit... You know all those pictures of Hawke or Alistair’s LI waiting on them? Well, I just can’t ever kill Alistair and leave poor Jereth holding some wilting daisies, pouting. I mean... Who would put up with him full time?? Leliana?? I think not!
24. Are any of your character(s) based on someone?
Yeah, me. All of them. Well, mostly. Tobias for example is nothing like me in any sense. But Jereth, Xander (& his sister Lola), Faeron and Nico are all some part of me. Some of my other wardens and Hawke’s too.
25. Who did you leave in the Fade?
Sorry again Stroud. (Still really not sorry...)
26. Favourite mount?
Faeron on his Halla is definitely most epic... But the Hart sound... It’s like having PTSD, I’m forever on edge and thinking ‘Don’t stop suddenly... DON’T stop suddenly...’
I did get this awesome Dracolisk mod which made them look like Maleficent’s dragon, which was so good for my qunari mage.

I’ve been thinking of making an inspiration blog for my oc’s as well.
Do I get asks: Not often. I’m fairly new to tumblr so I don’t know many people. And I’m not exactly a social person. I take forever to respond to the asks I do have! But I do love getting asks!

Amount of sleep: Not nearly enough. Ideally between 7 and 8 hours, but that rarely happens. Usually i get about 6. And it never feels like enough...
Lucky number: I don’t really believe in luck except in d&d, so 20.
What I’m wearing: Green long sleeved shirt, dark blue pants.
Dream job: I want to be a screenwriter for television and hopefully be able to pitch and run my own show someday! It’s a pretty ambitious dream but I love stories more than anything so I have to go for it.
Dream trip: I’d honestly be happy traveling anywhere. I’d love to see more of Japan, as well as visit Europe, especially Spain and Italy.
Favorite food: Feta cheese! I’ll happily eat it with all meals of the day.
Play any instruments: No. I took piano lessons when I was younger but I was a horrible student. I never practiced! But I was in choir for many years and I still love to sing.

Random fact: I have to pass a baseball field on my way home and last year there was a cutout of a baseball player mid-swing pressed against the fence and passing that thing at night was terrifying. It was just this dark figure, looming at me, bat in hand. I’m very glad to see it gone this year.

Self-shippers, wanna see something cool?!
I've been scrolling through / following the #self shipping tag for a while. Noticed I have like, a F/o set up most people probably don't have that I'd love to share / teach anyone else to make! Just shoot me a message, don't be afraid, I literally have nothing better to do and love when people take interest in whatever I'm up to! I'm not worried about damaging any Street CredTM on my main here, I haven't been relevant in forever, if at all.
(This is my first time using a “Keep reading” cut off, since this post is sort of long. I think that sends folks to my blog, sorry if my font is hard to read in, idk how to change it. There’s always copy-pasting into a word processor)
The place where this amazing thing lies? Google Sheets. I guarantee you, it's useful for WAY more than data entry. I've been building up this "F/o set up", let's call it King Kong, an arbitrary name I'd given it that just sorta stuck, since 10/14/17. It all started with the Grade Book template.
Wow, it's been a while since I looked at the base template, so much has been changed since then. Not gonna show the real thing / parallel to this page, because sensitive info, but I will talk 'bout it's features. No one's ever asked and I never plan on sharing the sheet itself, so I'm just gonna rant on all the capabilities (and if anyone's interested, I can share some formulas to help build your own)
Note: This is all 1 Google Sheet, made the whole thing myself except for the /very/ base, which I think was the School Grades template? It's been a year since I started it, it didn't start this awesome.
There's a page full of graphs, info grabbed from my F/os to find what I'm attracted to. I hope to build The Ultimate OC, or one geared towards myself one day with this info.
You get one (1) graph. Looks like I have a preference.
The most used page is the Mobile viewport, or "Mobile RE", (Mobile Random Events) shaped to fit my phone. In the center is a randomized prompt, with pieces taken from another page. A different F/o is generated for each prompt, sometimes multiple (road trips are fun). Some prompts have a "switch" that is effected by character traits, such as characters listed as "Introvert" or "Extrovert" , or “Punchy-fist” or “Pacifist” may see a slightly different prompt
Example prompts -
"Spongebob Squarepants seems to have caught a bad case of the hiccups. Seems frustrating ~ You're just glad it ain't you."
(Has an Honest / Dishonest switch) "While you and Spongebob Squarepants are walking around town, you find a wallet. You could care less what is done with it, but Spongebob Squarepants insists the wallet be returned to it's owner. It's even got the ID in there and everything, so you oblige. One good deed a day."
(While the Dishonest may just pocket it)
(Note: Spongebob ain't in there, just first rando I could think of XD)
I usually just peek at these for like a sec / enjoy 'em / imagine 'em in the moment, but you can write as many prompts as you want, even using them as actual prompts for drawing or fanfiction writing! I’d love to share the premise of some of the prompts I’ve collected if anyone is interested there.
There's also a refresh button, a break switch (seen here "Turned off for editing"), 25+ color themes (got "Chocolate" set in the pic), Night reading mode (love reading white words on black text, it’s on 99% of the time), Game modes such as "Best of" which just shows my favorite prompts, pronoun / name dropdown lists. want your F/o to call you your nickname? One of your kin names? Genderfluid and don’t want to be locked down?.
Sound too good to be true? Hell naw mate, shit's real. Just needed to put a little work into it and boom there it is!
Looking outside the viewport, there's a currency system (Pearls), along with that, a gambling prompt exists (Though I have to calculate winnings / make changes manually), Merchant's Prompt (they can buy stat boosting / effect items w/ pearls), Inventories, Statuses (Cursed Tiki effects a character's stats), Holiday indicators for seasonal prompts, you bet your ass I have a column for each character's MBTI / Enneagram, friendships between characters, even across media sources if it works.
Testing laboratory to check if new characters I've found would fit here (linked because it wouldn’t upload to the post for some reason?)
Team Puzzle the F/os are working on, it's 82% done ~ Each piece is picked up when a certain prompt comes up.
I may not have a self-insert made special for self-shipping or a detailed story of how I met any of 'em / life together like most you have, which is super cool. But I've got this.
I realize some folks still may be too shy to contact me, so here's some useful formulas to start with -
=IF(A1="word", "Yes it is word" , "Nope it's not word")
^ You can nest this formula like there's no tomorrow. Can be used with below for random chance. Ex. Under 50 is tails, over is heads
=if(iserror(SEARCH("thing to find",A1)), "Not contain", "Contains" )
^ Similar to above, checks if a cell CONTAINS a cell instead of is EXACTLY that word
=RANDBETWEEN(1,100)
^ Classic out of 100 randomizer, but numbers can be adjusted
=CHOOSE(RANDBETWEEN(1,2), "Apple", "Banana")
^ Another random choice. Can def have more than 2
=INDIRECT("column letter" & cell with row number)
^ This thing is very smart, let’s you outsource the location of a cell
Say these are all in column A - Red (A1), Blue (A2), Yellow (A3)
=INDIRECT("A" & B1)
Then in B1 or something you have either the number 1, 2, or 3. It will use that number to know where to grab the info from :)
I use this in my main Mobile RE viewport, the row number is randomized outside of it, also allows info / notes on specific prompts to come up in a separate cell since they use the same row but a different column
=INDEX(HP!D1:D88 , L21 , 1 )
^ Incredibly similar to the above “indirect” formula. I grabbed this straight from the sheet. L21 is like B1 in the other formula, and the HP!D1:D88 is like “A” in the other, but this one grabs info ACROSS SHEETS, HP is in a different tab than this formula is in! Very useful
=index(E129:M129, randbetween(1, counta(E129:M129) ) )
^ Big ol' text randomizer. This one is for a single prompt tho

Thoughts on s6~
Putting it all under a cut because I can’t not talk in lengthy paragraphs. Feel free to shoot an ask/message if you want to talk about s6, too
Ok wowie, good season. There were noticable weak points, but I’ll address those along the way. First let’s talk about the
Plot
It was good. It was surprisingly good. The hidden altean thing where they bold faced put that Lotor was responsible for hundreds or thousands of deaths teeters way out of kids’ show territory. They were not fucking around with that. The fact that they made it clear that the plot was not just paladins vs Galra (esp with Lotor wanting to do away with the Galra), but more along the lines of paladins vs lotor vs generals vs sendak vs so on and so forth makes it not just more complex, but stacks the odds against voltron and adds good suspense. Clone shiro was incredible. It was everything i’ve been waiting for.
The fight scenes, inside and outside voltron (cough cough KeithvsKuron) were breathtaking. Everything about Krolia was very well put together. THE ANIMATION WAS BREATHTAKING.
On that note (and dipping into characterization a little bit), they kinda layed it on thick with Lotor romanticizing Allura. He was too goody goody and it made the betrayal lose a little impact (aside from the whole mass murderer thing). there’s a difference between that and foreshadowing.
Idk why the huge timeskip with Keith and Krolia stuck on that mission bugged me a little, but it did. A timeskip makes sense and is a cool tool to use for the fam to get to catch up, but it just felt. Strange. Two years is a long ass time. Keith was completely unaffected seeing the team again. One could argue that this was bc of the mission, or Krolia teaching Keith how to be a member of the blade and have Super Mission Focus, but still, for Keith to have that much almost-off camera development and not be at least startled to see voltron again was weird. I love my mom to pieces but two years alone with her and eventually I’d go a little nuts.
Characterization
That last point brings me right into characterization, and unfortunately this one is gonna be a little more on the critical side. For the most part, characterization/character focus was well balanced this season. But there were some Moments.
Everyone on team voltron developed, and it was arguably best executed this season than any other. We got to see some great Coran moments, where he really felt like a member of the team. Hunk having a no-nonsense teacher, even just for like 15 minutes lol did him good in terms of communicating with their new allies. Hunk is a people-person, and it shows very well. His camera time wasn’t 100% food related all the time, in fact, barely ever. Bravo.
Pidge of course got her own arc, but it was still a GREAT moment when she admitted to having the coding on Shiro’s arm uploaded and on hand just in case. It was CHILLING when she made eye contact with Kuron before he took off. This is, imo, how Dreamworks should’ve handled other characters who didn’t quite have the spotlight in previous seasons. Not a whole lot of moments, but when they were there, they had impact. I hope they continue to do this.
Do I even need a section for Keith? Holy shit. My boi finally accepting his role as Black Paladin and so much more. :’) I won’t elaborate because c’mon, it was in part, a Keith-centric season
Same for Allura. She really is the heart of Voltron. We got to see a lot of sides of her.
Lotor being a psycho bitch but still having genuine feelings for Allura?? good shit
LANCEY LANCE. Bless him, Dreamworks is doing their best. In terms of his relationship with Allura, seeing him going from meaningless flirting to serious heart to hearts and a team player was fantastic. BUT I have some grievances, here we go.
Lance got a mini-arc and it was great, and he very clearly grows and changes, this is great! However, regardless of ships, seeing it centric to a romantic relationship, and basically being a rebound for Allura was ahhhhhhehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh eh.
Pidge and Hunk teasing Lance about his crush was normal, and them pretending to be Lotor and Allura was adorable and hilarious, but Lance was really hurting and when they didn’t stop and just walked out, I???? What. That, to me, is out of character. Hella out of character. Lance is their friend, and they should be?? Friendly??? I was mad @ them
Finally, as much as I love broganes and the great arc they had, they’ve had a tremendous amount of camera time. We’re well away that they’re practically inseparable. What I really wanted to see was the whole team being involved with finding out about Operation Kuron. With Lance seeing Real Shiro in the astral plane, I was really on board with him pulling aside Keith when he came back and be like “ey dude I saw some fucked shit”, and them rescuing Shiro together was a theory I was personally super into. Was kind of disappointment that we didn’t see the relationship between Shiro and the other team members deepen a little more.

First of all, daaaaaaamn that Allurance.
I’ve shipped allurance for a while now, more casually than other ships, so to see Lance change and mature and support Allura while Allura started to show that she really values Lance meant a lot to me. It’s good to see Lance grow up a little. For everything that they were this season, forced was most certainly not one of them. Their relationship felt organic.
However, it was not without flaws. I can’t help but feel like Lance was treated like a rebound, and was almost too? supportive??, and it was telling when Allura was talking with the mice, upon them snITCHIN ON LANCE DAMN MICE, she frowned sadly. I have to wonder if she actually returns his romantic feelings. And I do like the ship a lot, casually and aesthetically. But at the end of the day, what I was hoping to see was a really solid friendship. I think from here they don’t need to be straight up romantic. Their relationship is no doubt one of the strongest in the show, but I think it would be an incredible writing path to keep their friendship, because allurance has been hinted since episode one, and I think it’s almost?? Too easy for the writers to turn it romantic. I think Allura and Lance are a great team and very compatible for friends, but uhhhh read on.
I’ll just address the elephant in the room and come clean, yeahhhhh I like klance and yeeeaaahhhhh I would have really liked to see some more content this season, so sue me lmao.
If I’m gonna be really blunt about my feelings, I feel like klance is a fantastic direction for Dreamworks to take. I feel like it would be good writing to make klance endgame. Why? Because it’s the path of least resistance. That’s why so many people like it. Keith and Lance were so salty at the beginning, but the crew made an effort to show that in moments that were particularily tough, they have loads of potential and can be very good for each other, romantically or platonically. It’d be harder to write, it’d take time, but I think it’s a worthwhile pairing. And there are definitely some moments that are super disruptic to both Keith and Lance’s development when they, Lance especially, straight up regress in their development and fight for no reason. I think it’s unfair, and it almost always makes me go “wait I thought they were starting to get along better??”. Now that Allurance is a thing, I’ve stated in another post that, because it would be strange for Lance to have two romantic arcs, it’s pretty unlikely that klance will actually happen. Do I think they teased us? Yeah. Do I think they straight up qbaited us? Not really. In the end, my biggest hope is that they continue to develop Keith and Lance’s friendship and don’t abandon the really strong potential they have together. Don’t let them regress, Dreamworks.
I’m not gonna address she/th (or tag it, because who goes into the tag looking for someone to say IM NOT A FAN OF XYZ JUST THOUGHT U SHOULD KNOW) too much because I’m personally not a fan. There’s so much about their relationship associated with “brothers”, and Keith looking up to Shiro that it just doesn’t rub me right in terms of romance. I had to wonder if they aged Keith up two years to justify possible future she/th?? if it happens I’ll be bummed, and I think the random aging up is kind of a cop out, but hey, it’s their show.
RIP Lotura. I stopped shipping it and figured out Lotor was a hoe after his third Dramatic ‘Let’s Bring the Universe Together’ Speech to appeal to Allura’s sense of duty. It’s a shame tho, I was really digging it at the end of season 5

still thinking about that “we Have To Talk about how quips are ruining fandom by destroying meta and turning all fic into shitposts” post @ms-demeanor wrote a great rebuttal to, and about the other posts she wrote about it and about the You’re Doing Fandom Wrong attitude in it, and about the notes on those posts. not gonna reblog or reply to any of those because my thoughts are admittedly kind of random and jumping from place to place and probably OT to the point of the discussion, but you know. still thinking.
so, uh. not trying to start wank or anything but enjoy the ranting that got way out of hand under the cut.
so, like... that one “we can’t just block everyone who quips and shitposts because some of these people also write actual meta but then they unfortunately go back to Not Engaging With Canon by writing quippy shitpost-y stuff” line, or however it was actually phrased? besides the blatant entitlement with the “you have to fandom ONLY in ways I like, I can’t just engage with the part of the content you create that I’m interested in and scroll past the rest” thing (which kinda reminds me of the whole “you can’t CNTW on some of your fics, I should be able to read ALL of your fics” thing, in a way) and the ”I refuse to curate my fandom experience and I’ll make it some stranger’s problem” thing (which... reminds me of a few other things, but tbf it has probably been around since the very first days of fandom), what if someone doesn’t even see meta and quips/shitposts as fundamentally different and mutually exclusive approaches to fandom? what if they see them as just two ways to be interested in a specific fandom and interact with it, and maybe even closely linked together, so going from one to another is actually very, very easy for them? hell, what if they (gasp!) even mix quips and meta together sometimes?
I have a few posts about what I think Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese might have been doing with mythological references and themes in Dark, and about what I got from the series finale. some are meme-like, phrased in a joking tone, probably even shitpost-y? another one is literally just a gifset plus me having intense Feels in the tags, and the last one is an edit of the kind I’ve seen people complain about as “those cringey unoriginal tumblr aesthetics that all look the same” in at least a couple of occasions. does that automatically mean I only wanted to “win” at fandom (with my hard-earned prize being... a handful of notes in a fandom that’s not even that big compared to others) and that I haven’t actually spent probably way too much time thinking about the significance of Martha’s Ariadne play as a commentary on character interactions/plot/narrative themes (and honestly still do from time to time), or that I don’t occasionally read the captions under other people’s gifsets and suddenly feel very much enlightened about why the Ariadne play mentions the myth of the Flood of all things? that I didn’t start reading posts and comments and reviews and theories about the series finale as soon as I finished watching it? that, just because I didn’t write 10K+ words of Perfectly Serious Seriousness about all that stuff, I simply refused to Engage With The Text?
... and if I said that I feel a little irrationally self-conscious at the idea of writing down all of my (often rambling, sometimes jumbled) thoughts about a series that to me actually does feel very deep and complex, so adding memes and humor to that or finding different means to put my ideas out there makes me feel more comfortable expressing myself while also taking off the (admittedly made-up) pressure of having to write a whole coherent essay where I have to find a clear and explicit way to explain where every single thought comes from and how it leads to the next like I’m gonna get graded on it? or that a lot of those thoughts stem from memories of spending five years of high school translating and analysing ancient Greek poetry and reading and watching and discussing every available interpretation and reinterpretation of it from Nietzsche to Vernant to Dürrenmatt to Christa Wolf to Pasolini to a lot of others and from certain things in Dark violently hurtling me back to those times without even asking for permission, so a part of my self-consciousness is actually “I probably don’t actually know/remember enough about this to base a whole in-depth analysis on it even though I do think there’s something there” and another part is “shit I’m too lazy to dig through all of my old textbooks and homework and additional readings to hunt for the thing I feel the desperate need to reference or figure out who might have said it, so no extended explanation here either”? I guess in the end it would all boil down to “there’s an amount of effort and physical and mental energy I’m willing to put into fandom but I also have limits to stop something that makes me feel happy from becoming a chore”, which. considering the whole “you have to put all your resources into constantly pouring out 100% serious meta and nothing else because that’s what I like, no deviations allowed” thing? yeah, I can see saying stuff like that would still make me a blight upon fandom. and/or Not Engaging.
which, I realize, it’s a thing I keep coming back to. but that’s because I really, really, really hate it? seriously, what even counts as Engaging With The Text correctly? not shitposts, and not quips either, apparently. Regardless of the fact that humor and crack have existed in fandom since forever and that it’s actually not uncommon AT ALL for them to be born out of looking at canon from different angles, pointing out whatever the fan in question finds surreal/strange/implausible/convoluted/awkward/just kinda funny about it.
also, not canon divergence/what if fics motivated not by a desire to “fix” something that made us feel bad when it happened in canon but by a desire to actually fix what we felt was objectively a poor writing choice from the author, because we shouldn’t Engage by analysing the text to criticize it or to think over how and why certain aspects of it don’t work for us or how we think the structure of the text itself could be modified or even improved, we should Engage by... writing meta and/or writing canon-compliant fics with perhaps a little allowance for slightly-to-the-left-of-canon-compliant missing moments fics, I guess?
from what I’ve gathered from reading other fandom discussion some time ago, AUs are also out, especially Modern/No Powers AUs, because those are always just an excuse to slap your fave’s name on your OC/disguise your original fiction as fanfic to get comments/ignore all that’s interesting about canon to write yet another dumb syrupy high school or coffee shop AU, even if I’m honestly not sure what kind of AUs people are even reading to never get to the “there’s no supernatural threat so let’s focus entirely on the fucked-up family dynamics and blatant mental issues in a world where you can’t just ignore them by marrying off your daughter or sending your son to be someone’s squire” AUs or the “this is pretty much what happens in canon but adding new dimensions and different outlooks on the themes by moving everything to a new context” AUs. seriously, I could rec you a pretty great “this guy would be a horrible father and treat his children horribly in any world, it’s not just the feudal society around him, it’s him as a person” AU and that’s literally just the first thing that came to my mind. but, hey, maybe Engaging is only engaging with the canon plot and setting and nothing else, what do I know.
... fuck, thinking about it, I’m not even sure if by “not shitpost and not quips” I should even mean humor/crack? because it’s not like the OP was clear about it in any way? maybe it’s just all that’s weird and tropey and not-canon-compliant? I can see the “everybody gathers in the main character’s stuff to smoke weed and weird shit happens” fic I got a chuckle out of some time ago being one of the dreaded tumblr-born shitpost fics that are supposedly ruining fandom by ensuring that fans stop thinking (?), but what about the “everything is the same but this one character is a catboy, not for any particular reason but just because” fic I’m currently following and loving? people have been joking and shitposting about catboys a lot on tumblr lately (I distinctly remember that the last catboy joke to pop up on my dash was the “I’m your catboy gf and I’m stuck in a wall” one...) and finding an always-a-catboy!AU initially got an amused smile out of me, so is the mere premise enough to make the fic just a joke/just taking a trope and running off with it/just part of a shallow trend? even when the author literally goes “oh shit just realized this is all a metaphor for neuodivergence and masking” in the story notes? unless writing a character who’s never explicitly stated to be neurodivergent in canon as a being literally or metaphorically neurodivergent in your fic is always shallow projecting or posturing issuefic... instead of, y’know, looking closely at the text and Engaging with it by interpreting it that way....
I feel all this ranting/venting might end up plunging into Why We Slash discussion territory now, so I better stop here.
anyway, in short, good to know I’ve been in fandom for years yet I’ve always been just a Fake Fan who Can’t Think and is constantly Doing It Wrong (by Not Being Transformative Enough, possibly). gonna do my best to stay exactly like that in the future <3
