I saw before you explained how you keep your hair flat, is that how you get your 4c hair to constantly look like a blowout? I personally really want to have the kawaii aesthetic but it's hard with my natural hair. Your a big inspiration to me since I found you on pintrest. That's the only reason why I downloaded tumbler, to follow you cause your the closest I can get to a Black women with 4c hair basking in a soft/cute aetshetic
Hello! I'm so sorry, it's been a while since I've posted so I'm not sure when this was asked, but i'll answer. A blowout is a good way to get your hair to stay flat but pleeeasseee be careful with heat. Even if you need to blowout your hair a little (blow out while its dry so you don't have to use the blow dryer as much), you can then braid your hair and leave it overnight, it can help to flatten it.
BUT who is to say that afro puffs can't be kawaii!? or full out afros with clips and accessories!? You can totally start a movement with that!

Hey! I have 4c hair and I was wondering how you make your hair lay flat as opposed to being in a gigantic afro.
Hello! For me personally, I find that braids really help to tame and stretch my hair simultaneously and tying a hair tie close to the roots help it to lay flat. For example, I'll usually part my hair in four, tie a hair tie close to the roots for each section and then braid it tightly and leave it overnight. Hope this helps!
