so i literally just started looking around the welcome home site like an hour ago, but i noticed something about barnaby. i’m sure someone else has brought it up, but just in case—

so in barnaby’s description, there seem to be a couple allusions to death. the most obvious one, it says he was orphaned. it also says he lived on a farm - kinda brings to mind “oh i’m sorry sweetie, we sent your childhood pet dog to a nice big farm where he’ll have lots of room to run around!”. and also “the chicken that crossed the road”, considering the interpretation of the joke that says “the other side” means the chicken dying. anyone else think there’s something to this?

okay this has been on my mind for months but i need to finally say it. has anyone else noticed just how RIDICULOUSLY inconsistent toad’s design is. what is up with that. like i’m somewhat positive he changes in appearance the most out of the majority of x-men characters. literally just in trials of magneto, in the first issue his skin is very clearly green, and then in the fifth issue it’s just normal human colored skin (also the hair might be a little different but it’s hard to tell since it’s wet in the fifth issue)?? why the hell can’t anyone agree on one design for this guy

okay i know it’s like a sin and all to criticize the classics but like. in my humble opinion. there is NO REASON for frankenstein to be as long as it is. it literally repeats the same depression monologue with just slightly different phrasing at least once every chapter, occasionally even twice within the same chapter. i am confident that if you cut out all the repeating stuff it would only be around a hundred pages.

so it’s currently 1:25 am and i was inches away from sleep when i started thinking about zootopia. for some reason. and it occurred to me you know how in zootopia judy threatens the elephant ice cream parlor because they don’t glove their trunks?? how the HELL is that supposed to work??? how would they BREATHE if they gloved their trunks???? like i get it snot in your ice cream would be nasty but ALSO we know from real world biology that elephants can suck water into their trunks so LOGICALLY elephants in zootopia should be able to wash the inside of their trunks. so gloving their trunks would be both slightly unnecessary AND a health hazard judy what the fuck is wrong with you
