Personality:

“A free-spirited “evil” troublemaker; occasionally an angel, occasionally a demon.”

Yijun is quite the frivolous individual who does whatever he pleases, preferring to not pay attention to what other people say and will even spitefully do the opposite of what they want him to do if he feels like it. He’s also rather mischievous and pranks people on a frequent basis, often to the point of genuinely causing trouble for others’ livelihoods.

There’s no denying that he can be rather callous too, as he vocally admits that he simply doesn’t care about whatever happens to others so long as he gets his entertainment. He’s also not above using his pretty appearance to get his way along with some choice words, be they lies or truths.

However, certain behaviors and habits of his counter his bad behaviors to some extent; Yijun is undeniably and sincerely friendly towards Qiqi, though to the point of threatening violence onto anyone that may attempt to harm the zombie girl– as a result, he ends up seriously loathing Hu Tao. He also occasionally ends up helping out others for the better, especially when it’s in regards to literal fieldwork, although Yijun almost always tries to brush it off as simply him being in the mood and all.

Appearance:

Yijun is a young-looking somewhat androgynous man with physical features that could very well mistake him for being a girl; long light-red hair with orange-yellow tips tied into five separated ends and two distinct long black locks framing his face, golden eyes with a red ring surrounding his white slitted pupils, and fair skin.

His clothing consists of a coat with long-&-puffy-sleeves that has fox-like ears attached to the hood and fur attached to the hems, a (seemingly) sleeveless black top with a golden neck-bracer, black gloves that covers only two of his fingers on each hand (his pointer finger for his right his pinkie for his left, and middle finger for both) with a ring placed around the middle finger, and black leggings that expose his soles and toes.

Extra Notes:

He actually has a big old scar that runs across his back and it’s a sensitive memory to him (not that he remembers clearly the actual cause for it).

Yijun’s old and actual hair color is yellow, and the red is actually just a gradient at the top of their head. But after what happened, his old golden-yellow hair got delegated to gradient status and the red on his head became their new dominating hair color.

Besides his current appearance, Yijun actually has an animal form– a fox. It’s actually his real form though, and his human appearance is something he took out of curiosity for humans.

“People speak of encounters they’ve had of a wandering swordsman in a white hood-- be it being saved from monsters or treasure hoarders, being escorted through a rather dangerous terrain, or even as simple and mundane as carrying your heavy luggage for you. Very few people get to see underneath this Good Samaritan’s hood, but the few that do say that it may be for the best, as they say that while his features were kind and soft, it almost seemed like they were in the presence of something that threatened their very existence.”

Personality:

“A [Hero of Justice] who defends the weak with a smile, yet appears to be [inhumane] and distant.”

Ren appears to be a simple person on the surface; he’s confident in his abilities yet very humble and polite when interacting with other people, he always has a positive outlook and tries to encourage other people to be their best self, is outgoing enough to be able to talk with other people no problem, and always stands up for those who are being bullied. In short, Ren is a relatively good-natured and kind person.

While he generally makes airheaded and seemingly brash decisions -- such as crossing a river head-on to get to the next destination, or even suggesting to fight Hillichurl camp after Hillichurl camp consecutively to clear up the entire area quicker -- Ren doesn’t mean any harm in doing so and is merely doing what he thinks is right, but will agree to other ideas that others have usually.

Despite his seemingly nice personality, there are plenty of hints of a much more “concerning” side of himself that causes people to often become afraid of him or even just a bit shaken up.

Appearance:

Ren is a young man with a slender figure, though not without some faint traces of muscles. He has fair-colored skin, long light-shade of lavender hair that reaches his thighs with a good amount of his hair tied back into a half-ponytail along with two distinct locks of hair in front of his face, and heterochromatic eyes; his right eye being purple and his left eye being yellow-green.

Ren’s outfit is rather simple and “plain”; he wears a white “jacket” with thin yellow outlines, detached long sleeves of the same style, tied around the top of his arms by a red cord, and a red tassel each attached to a violet gem clasped around at the hem of the sleeves; underneath his coat consists of gold neck and shoulder armor pads attached to a light purple top, and a sleeveless black top. He also wears silver-colored armor gauntlets with black gloves that don’t cover his middle and ring fingers.

He appears to be wearing coattails of the same style as his top, with its insides having the pattern of clouds, tied in place by a red and yellow sash, which in turn is tied up with a cord of a lighter shade of red. His greaves are a light grey with yellow outlines and a red X on each of the front along with black soles-- though they appear to be more reminiscent of sandals.

Occasionally, he would wear an equally white hood and scarf to cover his face.

His Vision is casually tied to his right side, at the third/bottom cord.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

If you want to go drinking with Ren, then hope to whichever god/Archon out there that your liver won’t die on you cause he’s a dreadful drinking companion to have.

He absolutely sucks at using any projectile weapons; be it a bow, a gun, or even a slingshot. It actually makes him sheepish to admit that there’s one thing he isn’t good at.

Ren’s disliked food is sweets. It’s the one thing that he’s actually vocal about despite his usually passive personality. To quote from him, “I don’t really know what it is I like about them~... maybe it’s how the taste just assaults my entire mouth all at once? Ahaha~.”
