I keep seeing people wonder why Five didn’t wait until after younger/older Five when through the portal and then snagged the briefcase. Then it occurred to me, it’s because of the Commission. The moment Five broke his contract the Commission would have sent someone to his last time and location to grab the briefcase before some random person could stumble across it. So they were probably supposed to show up within minutes and Five would have been worried that it was a team sent to investigate his disappearance so for Five the lesser of two evils was facing himself rather than a commission team. After Kennedy was shot Five and Luther probably hightailed it out of there while some Commission agents who looked like FBI or Secret Service showed up to clean up the time travel mess. As for using the briefcase to get back to 2019, younger/older Five wouldn’t have wanted to Commission to track him with the tracker in his arm and the briefcase because they probably could have tracked Five faster. For Five and his siblings they already have the Commission after them so what difference does it make if the Commission can track their time traveling. Besides the Hargreeves being in 1963 is throwing the timeline out of wack and then going back to 2019 is actually helping the Commision. When Five broke his contract he needed the element of surprise so he needed to leave the briefcase behind because the Commission wouldn’t know what to do about someone time traveling without a briefcase so it would have left the commission scrambling.

Lila Pitts deserves another love interest

A lot of you by now think I don’t like or hate Lila, but I honestly like her/interested in her character because she’s complicated, she’s not a cut and dry villain, she’s an abuse victim that was basically brain-washed her whole life. This still does NOT excuse her actions (lying, manipulating, tricking, drugging and forcing Diego into a relationship and job, attacking all the Hargreeves, almost killing Allison) or justify them at all NOT for one second (even if she didn’t have siblings her to help her out or never got away from her abuser) she is STILL a grown ass woman who knows wrong & right and choose with her own free will the wrong choices.

Lila in S2E10 had her whole world crashing when she learned that her so called “mother” who is supposed to “love” her is the master mind of her parents murder and that she only did so she can get to her because all she cared about is using her powers for her own personal agenda which is still doubting (because the handler died when time was rewind by Five) so right now she’s lost she doesn’t know to believe or trust and yet again lost another parent, she NEEDS time & space to RECOVER t figure out herself, to figure out the real truth, to figure out where she stands.

Now it’s so very understandable why she fell for Diego I mean who wouldn’t the man has a heart of gold and beautiful pure soul, he’s also HOT as hell. Never the less Diego’s brother is also her parents cold blooded murder who doesn’t feel any remorse for killing them,it’s NOT fair to her to be in relationship where most of the time she would have to be civil with her parents killer and Diego would never choose her over his own sibling even his brother done her wrong (he’s not Vanya) so really the relationship is NOT fair to either of them.

After everything Lila has been through she DESERVES a fresh start, DESERVES to have her own Independence away from the Hargreeves, she might come in & out from time to time (maybe like Hazel) getting involved with Diego is just going to be unhealthy for her because would feel pressured to be nice to Five which is too much for her and she would end up screwing up whatever redemption she had because she would try to find away to get justice/revenge against Five.

it’s best or both Diego & Lila to be just friends or friendly getting involved romantically just complicate things for them and makes their relationship even MORE TOXIC & UNHEALTHY than its ALREADY is, this relationship would only inhibit/regress their characters development and made them both act out of character for the sake of making their “relationship” work, we would lose everything that we love/like in their characters.
