“The kid wants coffee, black,” Five said with a smug smirk.

You roll your eyes as Five soaks in his pride.

“And you?” The lady asks.

You wave her off. “I’m okay, thanks.”

She just nods, turning to the man beside Five. “Cute kids.”

Five smiles, and you elbow his side when her eyes widen and she backs off. “Cut it out with the smiling. It’s creepy.”

“You think me smiling is creepy?” Five deadpans.

“Terrifying.”

It’s Five’s turn to roll his eyes before he stares down at the counter. “I don’t remember this place being such a shithole. I used to come here as a kid. Used to sneak out with my brothers and sister and eat donuts till we puked. Simpler times, huh?”

You want to smack him upside the head. He looks sixteen for god sake.

The man hesitates with an answer. “I suppose.”

The lady comes back, her name tag reading Agnes, and hands the coffee to Five and the pastry to the man.

“I got his,” The man offers, paying Agnes.

Five blinked in surprise. “Thanks.” His eyes drift towards the man's shirt, “You must know your way around the city.”

The man chuckles. “Hope so. I’ve been driving this for twenty years.”

“Good. I need an address.”

You raise your eyebrows in suspicion before grabbing Five’s coffee and drinking some of it for yourself. The hot liquid runs down your throat, bitter. You can feel Five’s glare at you, but you only shrug before setting the cup down.

The man gives Five the address he was looking for before walking out.

Five takes back his coffee, staring into it and taking another sip.

“Did you want more?” He offers.

“What?” You asked. “Did you poison it in the five seconds you’ve had it?”

Five just scoffs. “You probably poisoned it first.”

“Oh, please,” You sigh. “If I wanted to kill you — and I do — that’s hardly how I’d do it.”

“Let me guess,” Five hums. “You’d slam me up against the wall without even moving a hand.”

You grin. “One of many different ways.”

“I’m starting to see how this whole smile thing is creepy.”

You open your mouth to reply when the door to the shop opens. You and Five remain still as he looks to the bell for the reflection.

“Get ready,” He whispers under his breath.

Four gunmen approach the two of you, the barrels all pointed at your heads.

“Hmm, that was fast. Thought I had more time before they found us,” Five said, facing you.

“Okay, so let’s all be professional about this, yeah?” One of them speaks up. The one on Five’s side. “Both of you, on your feet and come with us. They want to talk.”

“I’ve got nothing to say," Five said as you asked.

“Why don’t you deliver a message for us?”

“It doesn’t have to go this way. Think I want to shoot two kids? Go home with that on my conscience?” He replies.

“Well, I wouldn’t worry about that,” You said absentmindedly, finishing off Five’s coffee, earning a kick from under the table that has you biting your lip.

“You won’t be going home,” Five finishes for you. He grabs a butter knife, disappears into thin air, and reappears by the gunman closest to him, stabbing him in the neck.

The gunman next to you is about to pull his trigger, and you just tilt your head. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you.”

You blink, sending him flying across the room.

“Hey, assholes!” Five calls out, following with a whoosh.

You take that as your cue and crack your neck as gunfire explodes. A ball of energy forms in your hands, and you send it directly at the person to your right before propelling yourself up and grabbing their head, dropping to the ground, and hearing a sickening crack. More bullets fire your way, and you easily block them and send them elsewhere. Out of the corner of your eye, Five salutes behind a glass window and vanishes.

He reappears inside, grabbing the leg of a broken chair and piercing a man as your eyes glow red and you throw another man over the counter and into the donuts. One of the gunmen grabs Five, and you easily deflect a ball of energy his way, and he falls on the table. Five, undoes his tie and wraps it around their neck, yanking hard.

Two more guys come in, and Five shouts at you over the chaos.

“Hey, (Y/N), wanna make some noise?”

You quirk an eyebrow at him, kneeing the guy in front of you and slamming him down on the table.

“Preferably now!” Five shouts, ducking.

“Cover your ears,” You said.

You open your mouth just as Five vanishes. You scream, watching in slow motion as the last of the men fall to the ground. Blood pools from their ears and noses, all the glass in the room shattering.

Five reappears next to you with a smirk. “Putting that mouth to use, huh?”

In one quick motion, you thrust out your hand, and he’s pinned to the wall. He coughs, clawing at nothing as you cross your arms in front of him.

“You are absolutely insufferable,” You seethe.

Five kicks his legs out, choking out a few words. “Same goes for you.”

You wait a few more seconds before releasing your hold, and he falls to the ground, gasping in breaths.

“Next time, I’ll blow your mind,” You whisper down next to him. “I’ll show you putting my mouth to good use.”

Someone groans next to you, and in a few seconds, your boot finds home on their neck after crushing it.

You grab the tie left after Five’s attack, returning in front of him.

Five, now on his feet, raises a questioning eyebrow, and you don’t say anything, just fix it back around him.

He smirks as you step back. “Putting those hands to good use, huh?”

“Shut up.”

Prompt: Request; fluff with Axel Pronouns: None Mentioned Physical Sex: None Mentioned Rating: G/Fluff Warnings: tooth rot, mention of Axel's totally legal job, no dialogue because all he uses is body language, short fic Summary: When Axel doesn't have work he's a lot sweet than people may think

Axel strikes absolutely no one as the type to settle down. Which is why he didn’t. He just catches these little moments of married domestic bliss that he will sometimes forget that he is a trained assassin. Moments when you’re making dinner or just sitting and watching TV together are moments he often will drift off from his true reality and no one is ever the wiser.

In this moment he has his head lulled back on the couch, sitting comfortably with his arms stretched out and his legs spread comfortably. You’re sitting next to him, eyes fixed on the TV as it plays some nonsense Oscar recommended. The only reason you ended up watching it was because when you asked Otto if it was good he gave a small shrug in response, high praise coming from Otto especially since he was busy with the cats at the time.

You do glance at Axel on occasion, just to see if he’s moved or if he’s paying some sliver of attention. He is never paying attention, not to the TV. Sometimes you’ll catch his eye lingering over towards you as a smile comes over his face, but nothing more. You know that when the movie is over he’ll lean over and give you a kiss on the head before pulling you along to go to bed.

He’s become a creature of habit in this house. Not that you mind, it’s rather sweet to see the stone melt away when he doesn’t have a mission for a few days. Sometimes his routine is broken when his brothers come over, but he adepts into a sort of contingency routine.

The credits roll across the screen and you wait for your prediction to come true. Axel picks his head up and leans forward, bringing his arm to rest around you as he gently leans in and presses a kiss to the side of your head. For a moment he rests his head against yours, sending those silent messages he always does that you learned to read from his body language over time. You return the pressure, resting your head against his and he sighs, giving you another kiss, this time on the cheek, before standing and offering you his hand.

You accept the gesture and follow him as he leads you to the bedroom and pulls you down with him. He pushes the covers aside and you climb in with him, following his movements as he wraps his arms around you tightly and press the occasional kiss somewhere on your skin as you drift to sleep.

HI HELLO im definitely making some Choices tonight (binge watching all of unbrella academy s3 in 1 sitting) BUT i wanted to ask smth bc I've been thinking about it forever

so ik I'm pretty new to the yr fandom but I've noticed a lot of people mentioning the pills that Wille took from the table in episode 4, wondering if they'll come back in s2,etc, but...

I was under the impression that he took them already ? I thought that he took them before he ended up on the football field?? he was certainly high before that, but after his talk with August outside the way he's acting on the field seems like he took more, so I had always assumed that he took those pills between talking to August and calling Simon....

idk. this could have been something that people have discussed in length before but i just. i don't know. this is what i had always thought and it's been jarring to see that this is apparently NOT the general understanding of the scene.

That was also my understanding of the scene, because otherwise I don't know how he would have gotten that bad when he was overall functioning fine with August. However, it's never explicitly said, so we don't know. I think someone made a longer post about it a while back, but I can't remember who and I can't remember what their stance was on it, so that's not very helpful. The whole thing with Wille taking the drugs is very much up for interpretation right now. I'm sure they'll talk about it in season 2, as we know Alexander will be involved. It would be weird to have him come back and then just not mention the drugs at all.

I also kind of hope we see a moment where Simon realizes that they were his drugs. That he was the one who sold them to August, who gave them to Wille. I don't think he really thought about that in the moment (which is understandable) and I'd like to see him realize that. Really, I just want all the characters to come to the realization that they aren't the hero. They're all the villains in each other's story.

I hope you enjoyed Umbrella Academy season 3 and I hope you're not too tired from your binge watch.

What TV shows are you into right now?

Hmmm - interesting question! Not much, lol.

I'm looking forward to Loki Season 2. I've been trying to keep up with the MCU TV shows, but I've only watched the first episode of Secret Invasion. Maybe during my vacation I'll catch up - but the fact that I have no desire to is telling me something.

I was watching some of the Star Wars things for a while, but still haven't seen the third season of The Mandalorian and I started the Obi Wan show and didn't get far. I did like Andor - so will probably watch the next season of that when it comes out.

I think the only thing actively airing at the moment is Only Murders in the Building. Which I enjoy a lot but am not fully in love with it? I also don't feel like this third season has been /as/ good as the previous two. But I'm sure I'll stick with it cause I like good mysteries.

I would love to watch Good Omens 2 and Our Flag Means Death 2 but I have neither streaming service, so who knows when I'll get around to that.

I started The Witcher 3, but didn't get far - and the fact that Henry Cavill won't be returning just kinda soured me on it.

Things I'll watch once the new seasons drop: Stranger Things, The Unbrella Academy, Severance, and Rings of Power

I did just rewatch all of Full House again - because I got super sick earlier this month and since starting Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber's podcast, I thought I'd watch it again since I haven't seen any of that in years and years. I didn't mean to watch it /all/ but I had no motivation to do anything but watch tv for a few weeks.
