It's a carousel of colors with this costume of Mickey's From Tokyo Disneyland's 40th anniversary!
I've been listening to Tokyo Disneyland's "Harmony in Color" parade soundtrack a lot lately. Much like previous parade soundtracks, this one is so catchy and energetic. I think my favorite parade for the resort is still "Dreaming Up!" their previous anniversary parade. But this one is just as catchy and fun as that one.

The Wattersons from the Amazing World of Gumball
Gumball is one of those shows I revisit from time to time. It's so fun and I love the Wattersons especially. They're all crazy and lovable in their own way. I still have to watch the later seasons. But from what I've seen so far, the comedy is off the rails! It's so quick-witted and sharp. I mean that one segment where the family deconstructs from being fully animated to being doodles on sticky notes?! So good!

A before and after I've been wanting to do for some time now. Featuring Rapunzel and the guys!
It's really interesting to see how far your artistic process has grown over the years. This original work was done FOUR YEARS AGO! It's crazy to know it's been that long since the series ended. It's always a joy drawing Rapunzel and the gang from time to time like this.

Some Secret of Nimh art that I've done over the past month. I've been wanting to draw theses characters for a long time now, especially Nicodemus: his and the Great Owl's designs are TOP TIER!

Rambunctious siblings redux!
It's been a while since I've drawn these guys, but it was still great to revisit some characters I haven't drawn in quite a few years.

Miles' Duality
POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR "ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE;" I wasn't done with Spider-verse art just yet. But wow, the first time I saw this twist, I was in absolute shock!! It's almost surreal seeing an animated movie this ground-breaking, intense, and yet so well written and executed. The creative team and animators, deserve all of the praise and then some, and I'm seriously hoping they are getting some well-earned rest.

Color Wheel Challenge (Pink)
And we're finishing off the color wheel with the ever lovable Sprig Plantar! I think that Pink is certainly an easier color to differentiate. Despite being a variant of red, it serves as an almost more innocent depiction of red's personifications like passion for instance. This color fits Sprig perfectly, as he's very wide-eyed and alway curious, and the muted greens compliment his overall palette very nicely.

Color Wheel Challenge (Violet)
There was no better person to pick for violet than Rapunzel. Funny how even though violet is mostly a color of ambiguity, neither a color that represents good or evil but rather mystery, the way purple is used in Rapunzel's color palette shows violet to be a the compliment of yellow in every way, by showing off violet's most positive qualities. In short I love how violet is used for Rapunzel's character.

Color Wheel Challenge (Bluey)
It's Bluey for real life! Just like the rest of the world, I've fallen in love with this adorable blue heeler and her family. I love how excitable and energetic she is, while also being incredibly kind and sweet. I also think that her and Hilda would get along swimmingly.

Color Wheel Challenge (Teal)
I can't tell you how much I love Hilda! Easily one of the best shows on Netflix, apart from the Tales of Arcadia of course. I love the simple charm of this series: it's very cozy while also being extremely heartfelt. Hilda's optimism and risk-taking is honestly so admirable too: she's such a fun, lovable, character.

Color Wheel Challenge (Yellow)
Anastasia is one of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen! (though Rasputin still gives me the creeps big time, haha) Everything, from the songs to the animation to the characters just make you feel like you're being transported to another world.

Color Wheel Challenge (Orange)
Funnily enough, I grew up on Barney more than this lovable bear. But I love him and his friends and I've grown to appreciate the calm nature of this show as I've gotten older. Also yes, the 'Goodbye song' is so sweet, but I'm partial to the 'bear cha-cha-cha' myself!

Color Wheel Challenge (Red)
I've been seeing the color wheel challenge make its rounds and there are so many cool ones that other people and artists have done. So I wanted to give it a try: starting off with the mouse who needs no introduction.

"Catching Up,"
still obsessing over Spider-verse. I mean this movie is awesome and I can't believe how much the animation improved- and I thought the first one set the bar really high!
