Barbossa, mi personaje favorito de Piratas del Caribe. Tiene una personalidad interesante, es inteligente, precavido, valiente, carismático, un poco intimidante (porque puede llegar a dar miedo a los demás personajes) y algo loco (ese toque de locura es el que más gracia me hace).

Barbossa, my favourite character of Pirates of the Caribbean. He has an interesting personality, he's intelligent, cautious, brave, charismatic, a bit intimidating (because he can be scary for the other characters) and a bit crazy (that touch of craziness is what I find most amusing).

Creo que es francesa (los personajes son unos chicos de Francia que encuentran un superordenador que tiene un mundo virtual donde vive una chica, no hago spoiler por si alguien quiere verla. Creo que está en YouTube en inglés, y los libros están en Internet gratis, al menos la versión española).

I think it's French (the characters are kids from France who find a supercomputer that has a virtual world where a girl lives, I'm not making spoiler in case anyone wants to see it. I think the English version of the series it's free on YouTube, and the books are on the Internet for free, at least the Spanish version).

El verano pasado volví a ver la serie, y entendí mucho mejor la historia (cuando la estrenaban en la tele yo tenía unos 10 años). Aunque esté hecha para niños, los temas que trata y cómo los trata es algo que solo como adulto se entienden (el amor de la familia, el peligro, la muerte, el terrorismo...), y su historia es muy buena. Incluso hay 4 libros que son la continuación de esta serie animada, dedicados para niños pero con temas más complicados que en la serie, que concluye todo lo que se dejó sin acabar.

Last summer I watched the series again, and I understood the story much better (when it was on TV I was about 10 years old). Although it is made for children, the themes it deals with and how it deals with them is something that only adults can understand (family love, danger, death, terrorism...), and the story is very good. There are even 4 books that are the continuation of this animated series, dedicated to children but with more complicated themes than in the series, which concludes everything that was left unfinished.

Como me traía tantos buenos recuerdos, quise dibujar a los personajes. (En la primera imagen hay dos sin acabar 😆). La segunda imagen es un personaje del libro (como me lo imagino).

As it brought back so many good memories, I wanted to draw the characters. (In the first image there are two unfinished ones 😆, poor boys...). The second image is a character from the book (as I imagine it).

Este dibujo es de cuando empecé a dibujar personas, en un estilo distinto al sombreado. He dibujado a Female Jesse porque es el personaje que usé en los juegos de Minecraft Story Mode.

Se nota que son de hace tiempo, la forma de las cabezas es mucho más alargada, y su cabeza es enorme comparada con el cuerpo. No están proporcionados y no tienen dinamismo (incluso ahora a veces me cuesta hacer los personajes dinámicos y proporcionados, sobre todo en perspectivas extrañas)

You can tell they are from a long time ago, the shape of the heads is much more elongated, and their head is huge compared to the body. They are not proportioned and have no dynamism (even now I sometimes find it difficult to make the characters dynamic and proportioned, especially in strange perspectives).

El verano pasado volví a jugar a Pokemon Y. Estuve mirando un poco cómo funcionaba la cosa esa de los IVs y EVs, las habilidades, las naturalezas... Pero no lo puse en práctica porque yo no juego pvp.

Last summer I played Pokemon Y again. I was looking a bit at how the IVs and EVs, skills, natures... worked. But I didn't put it into practice because I don't play pvp.

Una cosa que aprendí es a crear un equipo bueno para el combate (sweepers, tanques, annoyers...). Por eso, utilicé algo de eso para elegir a este equipo que acabé usando en la Liga. Todos estos Pokemon me gustan, mi favorito es Manectric.

One thing I learned is how to create a good team for combat (sweepers, tanks, annoyers...). So, I used some of that to choose this team that I ended up using in the League. I like all of these Pokemon, my favourite being Manectric.

Como los iniciales de la sexta generación no me llaman mucho la atención, los dejé de lado, y como ya me había pasado el juego anteriormente con los iniciales de Kanto que regalan (mi favorito es Charmander), quise variar un poco.

Since the sixth generation initials don't really appeal to me, I put them aside, and since I've played through the game before with the Kanto initials they give away (my favourite is Charmander), I wanted to change things up a bit.

En la Liga fui con 5 pokemon en el equipo (aún no se puede capturar a Mewtwo, y no quería ir con Yveltal). Ninguno era shiny aunque los haya dibujado así (tengo tan mala suerte que no encontré ninguno en esta partida). Recuerdo una vez en el juego de Pokemon Platino, hace muchos años, que me salió un shiny y como no sabía qué significaba, me lo cargué... 😓😂

In the League I went with 5 pokemon in the team (you can't capture Mewtwo yet, and I didn't want to go with Yveltal). None of them were shiny even though I drew them that way (I'm so unlucky that I didn't find any in this game). I remember once in Pokemon Platinum game, many years ago, I got a shiny and as I didn't know what it meant, I killed it.... 😓😂

Por cierto, les puse unos motes: Faraday a Manectric, Chupasangres a Crobat, Dragonazo a Salamence, El Golem a Golurk y Tirana a Tyranitar. Siempre pongo motes graciosos.

By the way, I gave them some nicknames: Faraday (like the chemist) to Manectric, Chupasangres (it means bloodsucker) to Crobat, Dragonazo (like big dragon but in a funny way) to Salamence, El Golem (The Golem) to Golurk and Tirana (Tyrant, female) to Tyranitar. I always use funny nicknames.

Nunca he dibujado paisajes, pero un día tuve la gran idea de dibujar una escena del Señor de los Anillos. Esto fue hace 6 años (hace un tercio de mi vida 😆). La pena es que nunca lo llegué a acabar.

I've never drawn landscapes, but one day I had the great idea to draw a scene from Lord of the Rings. This was 6 years ago (a third of my life ago 😆). The pity is that I never finished it.

Creo que este fue el último dibujo que hice en este estilo. Es una escena de Infinity War (por si alguien se acuerda, la escena de calamardo 😂). La dibujé porque están mis dos personajes favoritos: Ironman y el doctor Strange (pobre Bruce. También me gusta, pero no tanto como esos dos 😆).

I think this was the last drawing I did in this style. It's a scene from Infinity War (in case anyone remembers, the squidward scene 😂). I drew it because it has my two favourite characters: Iron man and Doctor Strange (poor Bruce. I like him too, but not as much as those two 😆).

No recuerdo bien cómo lo descubrí (quizás echaron la primera película en la tele y me gustó), pero la historia engancha.

I don't really remember how I discovered it (maybe the first film was showed on TV and I liked it), but the story hooks everybody.

He visto las películas y luego me leí los libros (hay 3 películas y 5 libros según creo recordar). Es una trilogía de unos personajes que deben escapan de un laberinto, no quiero contar nada sobre la historia porque no quiero hacer spoiler y tampoco quiero estar tres horas haciendo un resumen. Pero esa trilogía tiene unas precuelas (en la versión de libro). La primera película es bastante fiel al libro, pero las otras dos no se parecen mucho a partir de cierto punto de la historia (son como finales distintos de la misma historia. Personalmente, prefiero el libro, aunque las películas también me acabaron gustando).

I've seen the films and then I read the books (there are 3 films and 5 books as I remember). It's a trilogy about characters who have to escape from a maze, I don't want to tell anything about the story because I don't want to make spoiler and I don't want to spend three hours summarising it. But that trilogy has some prequels (in the book version). The first movie is pretty faithful to the book, but the other two are not very similar after a certain point of the story (they are like different endings of the same story. Personally, I prefer the book, although I ended up liking the films too).

Hace mucho tiempo, (aproximadamente 5 años, yo tenía 13 o así), en clase de plástica de 3° curso de educación secundaria (es como llamaban a la asignatura de arte en el colegio), nos propusieron dibujar a lápiz imágenes en blanco y negro. Yo dibujé unos lobos (pero no encuentro los dibujos 😓). El verano de ese año, cuando descubrí Marvel y vi que mi personaje favorito era Ironman, me puse a dibujarle 😄. Esto es lo que salió:

A long time ago, (approximately 5 years, I was 13 or so), in art class in the 3rd year of secondary school, we were asked to draw black and white images in pencil. I drew some wolves (but I can't find the drawings 😓). The summer of that year, when I discovered Marvel and saw that my favourite character was Iron man, I started to draw him 😄. This is what came out:

El universo cinematográfico de Marvel (MCU) me encanta. Empecé viendo Thor, y al final acabé viendo varias veces todas las películas (excepto las que están actualmente en el cine). También incluyo la saga de X-Men. Cuando estrenaron Infinity War fui el día del estreno al cine y a los dos días fui a verla otra vez xd. La primera con mi hermana y la segunda con mis amigas (en realidad solo iba a ir una vez con mis amigas, pero fui antes para que no me hicieran spoiler)

I love the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). I started watching Thor, and in the end I ended up watching all the films several times (except the ones that are currently in the cinema). I also include the X-Men saga. When Infinity War was released I went to the cinema on the opening day and two days later I went to see it again xd. The first time with my sister and the second one with my friends (actually I was only going to go once with my friends, but I went before so they wouldn't give me spoilers)
