the fact that we only have “herculean task” and “sisyphean task” feels so limiting. so here’s a few more tasks for your repertoire

icarian task: when you have a task you know you’re going to fail at anyways, so why not have some fun with it before it all comes crashing down

cassandrean task: when you have to deal with people you KNOW won’t listen to you, despite having accurate information, and having to watch them fumble about when you told them the solution from the start (most often witnessed in customer service)

feel free to chime in i ran out of ideas much faster than i anticipated

Customer service is literally an act tho? No one is that kind and happy after being verbally abused, being forced to stand 6-10 hours a day 5 days a week, with little to no breaks, and is probably also hangry???

Since every Fast Food restaurant has chicken sandwiches- and I wholeheartedly love chicken sandwiches- I have been trying them all recently and I’d like to share my opinions on each! These are from restaurants local to my area in the south east of the US

CFA- the classic chick fil a sandwich is honestly nostalgic for me. The chicken itself is sweet, almost like its honey fried chicken. The bread doesn’t overpower the taste of the chicken and is overall great. The cfa does have a tendency to get soggy though, especially because its packaging. Pickles can overwhelm the sandwich as well. If you eat it fresh it’s muuuch better 7/10

Popeyes- remember back when popeyes chicken sandwich was a trend? I didn’t try it then but when I tried it recently it was amazing. It was crispy and super crunchy, a ton of meat, pickles and sauce did make it a bit soggy but it was still good. The chicken wasn’t over seasoned and the bun was perfect. If you don’t like sauce and pickles (like me) they’re not even detectable when taken off. 9/10

Kfc- I had no idea what to expect. My family has never been a KFC family. We’ve always been a popeyes family so I honestly didn’t know what was coming. The sandwich itself was good. Lots of meat- though lots of breading too (thank god I like breading) slightly over seasoned for my taste (the pepper really lingers too long on your tongue and in the back of your throat) and the bread was sweet. It tasted like a hawaiian roll in a way I just didn’t feel meshed well. Im sure it’d be better on a biscuit. It also has a tendency to get soggy within its packaging. Not my favorite but I did enjoy it. 6/10

Mcdonald’s Crispy Chicken Sandwich- I was beyond disappointed. I’ve loved the mcchicken since I was itty bitty and I love their chicken biscuit- but the sandwich was honestly bad. It was soggy (again with the foil bag which will make any sandwich soggy) gross flavor, and despite not having any pickles on mine, all I tasted WAS pickles. If you like soggy pickle sandwiches then I suppose you’ll like this one. 3/10

Wendy’s Classic Chicken Sandwich- I liked it. It was forgettable but not terrible. It had chicken, it had toppings, it tasted good. It was crispy, and with its wrapping it stayed crispy- but it got cold. If you get a sandwich wrapped in paper, it doesn’t get soggy, but it will cool down. I suppose it depends on your tastes. 5/10

Burger King- ew. Big chicken but mine was all breading, and the meat just tasted funky. Dont know if it’s just my bk but it was nasty. Not crispy either. -1/10

Maybe next post I should do Fries?

Weird instances of me being psychic part 2

I can tell how long people will stay together. For one of my friends, about three months with her current boyfriend, with me and my boyfriend, we’ll be on and off but eventually settle in for the long haul. Another friend will be fast to marry and fast to divorce. I keep doing this shit too 🤷🏼‍♀️

Weird instances of me knowing too much or being psychic

I have an affinity for guessing blood types. If I know a person for more than 5 minutes I’m able to guess their blood type? I have yet to be wrong and I’ve done this to 10 irl friends.
